I was there in Mai for the 12 h of Bathurst. Great event even the weather wasn't that hot as usual for this event. I loved it, I hope to can be back the next time on the original date

What makes this mountain such a special place in Aussie lore? Is it the natural beauty of the area, or is it drivers and their supporting teams that guide their steel steeds over the mountain top, or finally...is it the fans, some of whom have been coming here to celebrate their teams for 50 years or more. Personally I think it is all of the above.

One of the best race tracks in the country if not the world. Love visiting this place, Bathurst 12hr is a very relaxed weekend of great racing.

What a fantastic and free experience. Driving the track at 60 kmh is still a magic activity for anyone who has ever enjoyed the racing at Bathurst.

Even if you're not into motorsports it's worth visiting Mount Panorama. There are great picnic spots at the top & a new Skydeck/walk. You can walk around the whole track as well. The motorsports museum is located here as well. The views from the top are beautiful. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

A good place for motor enthusiasts to visit, or if you just want a good view of the area. Fun to drive around at legal speeds and let's you appreciate the skill of the maniacs who do this at race speeds!

What a place. As a car race lover, it's great to finally see/drive it

Awesome experience to drive the course...unfortunately the speed limit is only 60kph. There's several places to pull over and take in the beautiful view. If you're in Bathurst you should take a lap or two.

Did a few laps, walked a bit of circuit and took heaps of photos. Real casual outing, sadly the museum is closed every Tuesday so I will have to do it all again tomorrow!!

Could be much more lively This place has the potential of being a major hive of activity. This is iconic not just to Bathurst or NSW, but to Australia. Staying at the Ridges hotel (great hotel) I went for a walk along the circuit, to my shock and horror there was no walkway for pedestrians (save for a short one at the top of the hill). I met all these lovely people having to share the road with cars, even a lady with a prum. Then at night I was hoping to see a lit up hillside, nope it was dark as in a cave. This hill needs walkways and cycle ways, provision for parking, more rest areas. Having travelled to the USA where they make small rocks with nothing into big tourist attractions, we Aussies could learn from them. Coming to Mt Panorama should be on every Australians list. Maybe one day.

It was a bit strange driving on a race track but the lookout at the top of the hill was really good!!

Beautiful track , open 24hrs for anyone to cruise around ( race events pending) just be wary of speed limits and other traffic/pedestrians as it is a very popular place. The view up the top is amazing especially with the new addition of the walk way !

Popped up for a sunset. Was nice and peaceful. The sound of birds singing and the sun going down felt great to be put in the country.

went there to experience the feeling of driving on racing track (60km/hr speed limit apply here for public), suprised to see a beautiful sunset. the race circuit lookout just awesome, morning can be very foggy becauce it's above sea levels over 800 meters. with help of a passing by gentlemen, we were so lucky to spot an extremely rare albino wallaby in the grass near the sign from the lookout, but this poor little guy doesn't seem to be welcome by others of its kind ~ probably just because of its color.

The racing track is open all the year round and anyone can have an driving experience on the track. Once you are on the peak, the whole Bathurst valley looks like a big bowl surrounded by the mountains! Amazing!

A must visit popular place. Top of the mountain board walk has amazing views! Kangaroos resting in the paddocks and plenty of bird life.

A dream come true driving around Mt Panorama. TV in no way shows the steepness of the Race Track, both up and down. A wonderful experience

Lived it here the view from the top if the mountain was spectacular, you can drive the circuit, and there are several places to stop and get a great photo.

Having the pathway from the exit of turn 2 all the way to the top of the mountain is perfect and so much safer. The skyline platform and walk is worth visiting with views over Bathurst Town.

When there are no racing events being held here, Mount Panorama is open 24/7 and operates as a normal suburban road. The speed limit is set at 60km/h along the whole road - so, don’t going racing around the track like you’re trying to win the Bathurst 1000. There is no admission fee. There’s an excellent viewing platform at the top, at Brocks Skyline. Toilets are located on the park next to Brocks Skyline. There are excellent views of Bathurst at Mount Panorama.
