Great place for breakfast with an awesome view. The food is amazing here, we kept coming back it was so good, stayed in Port for 3 days and had breakfast here every morning. The service is fast and very friendly, I highly recommend. We had to stop again and have breakfast 1 more time on the way home, great place.

Great place for brunch with a view! The staff are super friendly and the prices are quite reasonable too! We ordered the ice chocolate, ice chai latte, eggs benedict, and fish and chips! Wonderful location @ Flynn's Beach. Walked 2.5 km from Town Beach along coastal walkway had lunch then returned. Made it a beautiful day after a tasty meal.

I can't fault this place at all. A perfect mix of delicious food and a gorgeous view of the beach. The service was also super friendly as they tried their best to accomodate our large group on a busy Saturday morning. Highly recommended!

Sandbox is a beautiful spot that is quite literally ON the beach! The view is accordingly incredible, and the place itself matches its surroundings perfectly. To access the spot you'll need to park on the main road and walk down, or drive down the one-way access road, on which there is plenty of parking (especially after Sandbox itself ). The food is good, but nothing exceptional. It looks great but some of the flavours were a little muted. Similarly, the coffee lacked any notable flavour. The milk was textured perfectly and the latte art was beautiful, but the underlying coffee flavour just wasn't there. Staff were friendly and highchairs were available. Be prepared to wait for a table at peak times!

What a wonderful find! Stayed nearby overnight for a road trip and managed to find the Sandbox for breakfast. Awesome food, not too pricey and a spectacular view of the beach. Staff were super friendly and they do all day breakfast and lunch, and the coffee was super tasty. Easy walk from nearby accommodation or you can walk up and down the beaches of Port Macquarie from here.

Great spot Went for breakfast which was delicious. If ordering waffles for your little ones the serving is a little large for them. Staff super friendly.

Was an overnight stay and we found this perfect Cafe to start the day off. Coffee and breakfast was amazing with an even better view. Yummy. I'm GF diet and they made sure it was perfect and more importantly it was so delicious. A stroll on the beach and was ready to travel again.

Upbeat and experienced staff set the happy Sunday morning tone, opening on the dot of 7am to efficiently serve the waiting queue. We had the hash - poached eggs, roasted tomatoes, char grilled corn, black beans and chorizo, topped with the most perfect avo. So delicious we devoured it without stopping to take a photo, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. Coffee was excellent, and of course the view. Yes, there are limited tables, but plenty of grass and picnic benches if you want to move off. What a lovely way to start the last day of our holiday, highly recommend.

Stayed in Port Macquarie for a full week and every day had coffee and breakfast at the Sandbox. Super fast service. Scrumptious food and great coffee. The views over Flynn’s beach are amazing.

A cut above the usual seaside Cafe with a Manager who seems to care about finding a seat for you, great food, fast and friendly service and a well shaded view of the beach. This cafe delivered much more than I expected. Try the all day breakfast ( the smashed avocado was delicious ) or try a burger. Simple fare served well. Highly recommended

The coffee was great and the food here was delicious however due to very small dining area, our breakfast felt somewhat rushed. People were taking over tables before the previous people had even left! Service was very quick. Breakfast for 2 adults 2 kids was $100. Photo 1 is smashed avo, photo 2 is chilli crab.

A great place for breakfast. Roughly 1and 1/2 hours south of Coffs Harbour, the Sandbox cafe is worth a visit at Port Macquarie. Relaxing back with an incredible view while you eat a great breakfast. We went when the “nippers” were training, so it was busy. However, the staff had it all under control. Simply service that was not expected. It was great! We did not have to wait for the food either. I had the pancakes and my wife had the egg and bacon roll. Oth were very fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend this place for a stop. Only problem is, you may get lost in the view, or go for a swim. Simple awesome!

This cafe is amazing, the food was 10/10, we ordered pork belly mojo and fish taco, ingredients is extremely fresh, and the flavours were sooo good, the coffee and the dessert were also 10/10! We went on a weekday around lunchtime , it was still quite busy. However it didn’t take to long to get our food, what would be better than nice food with nice ocean view? And it is reasonably priced . I wish they open in Sydney too 🥹🥹🥹, they would have been definitely one of the best here too!

Food was amazing! The staff were really nice and attentive and it was such a lovely and calming spot to have a coffee and some food next to the beach. Parking isn’t too bad there however limited seating. Both dishes we had were really nice however the salmon soba dish was a winner for us.

Outstanding service even through the peak busy period of Sunday morning nippers. The staff were helpful, polite, knowledgeable and the food was delicious. The drinks arrived before the food and quickly especially given how busy they were. The view is outstanding. Very enjoyable experience. Most important to me- excellent coffee.

Perfectly situated on Flynn’s beach with amazing views. Offering a relaxed laid back beach vibe, puppy friendly and attentive friendly staff. Meals were well portioned and full of flavour. We dined here a few times on our trip as it finished out costal walks with the dogs. Local and tourist favourite.

This is such a cool place to take some time and enjoy the beautiful scenery, beach vibes and and fresh air while enjoying the great food and coffee on order. Hands down the best fish tacos money can buy. No doubt. 5/5 Very friendly staff that can’t do enough for you and always have a smile to offer.
