I visited Maya Da Dhaba purely because it came highly recommended by a close family friend. Iam glad I visited this place along with my family and friends. The choice of food is excellent and portions very generous. The taste left me wanting for more. The staff are very friendly and food was served pretty quick. I highly recommend this place. Parking will be a challenge and I recommend to park the car either in Young Street, Young Lane or James Street. It's about 300 - 400 mtrs walk to the restaurant.

Very disappointing. Ordered veg meal / curries for strict religious veg person and we received goat curry. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Delicious, authentic and very tasty Indian food! We came for a family dinner on a Saturday night and place was full so glad we booked ahead but either way tables were turning over fairly quickly. Tried a range of dishes, mostly vegetarian and all had their distinct flavours and spices. Servings are probably the most generous we have had at an Indian restaurant and really good value. Kids also loved the lamb rogan josh which they made mild so was just right for them. Service is fairly basic but friendly and attentive enough and about as expected. Will definitely be back and likely to be one of regular places for an Indian meal in the inner city.

Great serving size and nicely flavoured curry with lots of different Indian spices. There naans are general in size and very freshly made. A big variety of vegetarian and non-vego options of the curries, entrees. Great chutney and pickles selections. We enjoyed the friendly and vibrant energy of the servicing. They also open till late so it’s good for friends night out.

The food “Chicken Butter”, ”Mango Lassi” and “Cheese Garlic Naan” were good and tasty. But also, we ordered “Golab Jamun” for dessert and it was too bad and tasted too much oily such as burnt oil. Although the restaurant was not crowded at that time, we were waiting too much for ordering.

On the positive side the restaurant had fast and efficient service and portion sizes were generous. The Dahl, Naan and poppadom were delicious but unfortunately I found the butter chicken to be quite sweet and less enjoyable.

Visited many times and every time one of the dishes turns out to be a disaster. Vindaloo had uncooked masala powder lumps which was tasteless and pathetic. Won’t be visiting this place ever again. 2 stars becoz of good papdi chat & quick service else it would have been 1 star. Dear Maya da Dhaba, pls ask your chef to have some patience till the masala is cooked well.
