Turned up to the 4 pines for lunch, the surrounding are nice and it was a beautiful day. We ordered a beer and sat outside in the sun. We then ordered lunch and this is where it all turned south. I have had a few Chicken Schnitzel's over the years, some good some not so good but this one takes the cake. I paid $28 for (not overly cheap) this thing they call a Chicken Schnitzel. I cut it open and oil just poured out of it all over the plate. The chicken inside was almost non-existent so essentially paid $28 for thick crumbed batter and oil. If this is what they think is ok to server up to their customers, then close your doors and find something that has nothing to do with providing any type of product to customer. Pretty much a joke!!

We had a great time at 4 Pines at the Farm! The staff for the wine tasting was super friendly! We got to try some delicious wine, and hear stories about the region as well. Then we headed to the bar section, had some beer and food. We sat outside to enjoy the view while eating. Food was good, but a bit pricey. The beers are not my favourite, but still wasn't bad, plenty of choice to choose from.

The restaurant / bar is very conveniently located near the accommodation and has a good selection of wines. The food was lovely and service very good. The views were beautiful, overlooking vineyards and farmland. The rainbow photo was taken from the large deck.

Lunch in a Brewery on a clear blue sky weekend is always a great idea. Besides the frothy beers, great tasting paddles and crispy pizzas(I like a thin crust pizza loaded with filling), there is always comedic tipsy patrons watching. It's always a pleasure as long as there is no fist flung.

Turned up half an hour early for our booking, but we were seated immediately and the gentleman looking after us went out of his way to ensure we had our own pizza made. Kept asking me if everything was good, made great conversation, drinks (for me) came promptly. As a single mum with two rowdy boys, we felt so welcome and then to top it off, I was so excited to find out I could take a glass of wine back to my room. I can't fault anything. Everyone was so patient and made me feel so at ease even though my boys were full of so much energy. Thank you to the very oh so sweet and warm gentlemen who looked after us. You made us feel welcome even whilst everyone else was so quiet. Now just chilling in my room finishing my drink. Legend!

Great place for a beer! The cheeseburger was also fantastic, very simple, but hit all the spots. The only improvement I would make is to toast the buns a little more. We did the wine and cheese tasting upstairs. The gentleman who walked us through the pairing was very knowledgeable, fun, and had a sound understanding of wines. He slowed it down and explained a lot to us about the different tastes, textures, regions etc. The choices were great entry level cheeses which everyone could enjoy. While I wouldn't have minded a more smelly cheese like a blue be in the mix, I think the choices were perfect for including everybody on the tasting.

On our recent visit the food was carefully prepared and hot like just came out pan/fryer, The Chicken Schnitzel is a must have with its accompaniment of fresh hot chips! Plus the Salmon it was just perfectly cooked with it's crispy skin like it should be, the meat inside was buttery and tender and to my surprise it wasn't dry. We will definitely comeback again! It was a vacation well spent! Overall it was Delicious!!!

Great location. Food average pub food and very passable. Friendly staff and good beers. Schnitzel too crumby and onion rings soggy. Burger good and wings ok.

The restaurant had a stunning view, and the dinner was delightful. We visited on a Friday after our arrival, but the service was quite slow, and securing an indoor table required a reservation. We opted to sit outside in the cold, but they provided a heater, which was a plus. Although the food took quite some time to arrive, when it did, it was hot and delicious. However, the next morning, we went for breakfast, as it was supposedly included in our package according to the receptionist. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointingly basic and lacked flavor. We were served unbuttered toast, eggs, and unsalted avocado. The brekky menu was just basic and nothing special, or standing out from it, To add to our surprise, there was an unexpected surcharge, which seemed unreasonable. We were informed that we had to pay for breakfast because it wasn't included in our booking, despite what we had been told. It's frustrating when establishments provide incorrect information and then backtrack on their promises to customers.

4 pines has a stunning view, the restaurant has good variety, and the service is friendly and top notch..! We were running late and placed an order over the phone... Katie was super accommodating and the food was ready by the time we reached..! We've been there twice during our visit to the Hunter, and highly recommended the place...

If you are looking for a simple and laid-back lunch around Hunter Valley where everywhere is a fine dining course, this restaurant offers a sumptuous foods and relaxing views. The foods has a good amount of serving, taste awesome and fresh. I just wish they'll offer more varieties soon and maybe add the dessert to their menu, it is advised to asked for a dessert menu to one of the staff but it actually really helpful for the business to include this on your menu. The parking is massive as well and it wouldn't be a problem. Family-friendly and pet-friendly as well so what more can you ask for? Overall, our visit in 4 Pines is awesome and will definitely keep in mind if ever I'll go back in Hunter Valley region.

They had a large selection of the local wines here a fantastic facility so it really is a great place if you can't really go to other ones you can come to this one and try a big selection of the local wines and then they have their own beers and great food with outdoor patio seating that is covered as well as indoor seating it is an excellent place especially for larger groups

Great ambience @ Hunter Valley They have a great selection of wines accompanied by classics like the Chicken Snitzel, Fish and Chips, etc. The Butter Chicken was exceptionally delicious as well, do give it a try.

Very nice lunch today and fantastic server Mikaela looked after us ! Thankyou for your awesome hospitality and enjoyed spending time wandering around the grounds and meeting the ostriches ! Look forward to visiting again soon

The meal was excellent, and it was just right for my palate. The food was not only delicious but also aligned perfectly with my personal taste preferences, which made the dining experience highly enjoyable for me. Kudos to the chef!!!👏👏👏👨‍🍳🎊
