Had
a
very
unpleasant
experience
with
Dr.
Kelvin
Cheung
today.
I
had
a
work
injury
and
had
to
go
to
him
and
had
been
going
for
2
months
now.
Every
visit
I
just
need
to
ask
for
a
work
capacity
letter
and
today
he
asked
whether
I
was
interested
in
doing
a
blood
test
and
after
further
explanation
I
said
I’ll
think
about
it,
but
that
I
wasn’t
interested.
At
the
time
I
thought
this
was
odd
as
there
was
no
indication
I
would
need
a
blood
test
at
all,
and
it
was
separate
to
my
initial
consult.
Later
he
asked
whether
my
private
insurance
covers
my
GP
appointment
and
I
said
it
should
be
(usually
it’s
covered
by
work
insurance).
He
then
double
checked
and
said
it’s
covered.
After
that
he
said
I’ll
give
you
a
referral
just
in
case
you’re
interested,
even
though
I
never
express
any
interest.
Later
I
got
a
notification
saying
my
private
insurance
paid
for
my
visit.
I
was
unaware
of
this
since,
I
thought
the
visit
was
just
work
related
and
proceeded
to
call
the
receptionist.
After
speaking
with
the
doctor
himself
he
said
that
it
was
outside
the
work
cover
appointment
and
it
was
considered
a
consultation
fee.
I
was
extremely
disappointed
since
he
said
“it’s
not
out
of
your
pocket
fee
since
the
private
insurance
covers
it”.
First
of
all,
I
didn’t
ask
for
a
blood
test
and
he
didn’t
explain
that
this
is
a
different
consultation.
Secondly,
I
didn’t
even
ask
for
a
test
and
I
wasn’t
even
aware
of
it
being
something
I
needed.
This
is
obviously
a
tactic
to
just
charge
more,
and
I’d
be
concerned
what
other
patients
they
are
targeting.
Just
for
feedback
next
time,
you
need
to
explain
everything
and
make
sure
the
patients
are
aware
of
what
you
charge
for!
