What an amazing find. I saw they had a couple of gluten free options online, but in reality, most of their menu was gluten Free. And delicious! We went for lunch on a public holiday and it was very quiet, so service was very fast and efficient. The food was fresh and delicious. I couldn't fault this place. It will be our new place to catch up.

Hands down the best dumplings in Sydney’s CBD, maybe even the best in Sydney! An unassuming entrance off of Kent Street gives you access to delicious cuisine. There’s a lunch special menu but I stuck to the dumpling range. All were served piping hot with fresh fillings and soft, fresh pastry. The pot stickers are particular good served on a sizzling hot plate. Yum!

This place rocks. It’s a cracker. Lots more choices than just dumplings too. The menu is refreshingly eclectic. I’ve travelled extensively in SE Asia so I’m a bit of a secular “expert” on Asian food. And I’m also (annoyingly} fussy with Asian food of this nature. Dumpling Bar has absolutely nailed it. And great value for money. There are not many offerings after dark in this part of Kent St. Dumpling Bar is an oasis and a ripper one at that. Good onya Dumpling Bar ! You’ve raised the bar !

Went in and tried the lunch special. The fried rice with bbq pork had like the tiniest portion of pork (like no more than 4 minuscule pieces). The duck tasted nice, however the way it was chopped created so many shards of bones that I had to spend half the time picking out bone fragments. The roast pork had no flavour nor was it crispy at all. Overall the dish was quite bland and definitely could have benefited from a drizzle of soy sauce prior to being served. Customer service was great and the lunch specials itself wasnt too bad. Unfortunately, the food just lacked flavour and overall appeal. I will definitely try out the actual restaurant as the food there does appear more promising.

Beautiful dumplings and friendly service with a smile. Plenty of Gluten Free options available so if you are coeliac this place is amazing! Music is soft and the staff are warm and welcoming. Open late so perfect for dinner if you are out on the town. Cheers!

We had to wait longer for a couple of our food. And at the end we also got the wrong order. But the food that we got served was fresh and delicious.

Best dumplings in the area. Tasty, fresh and great service. Loved seating out in the verandah to relax and have a beer or sit at the back restaurant for their harbour views when entertaining Clients. Thank you to Ellen who always goes above and beyond for us.

I really don’t want to be posting this, but I have to. The dumplings are always great, but the wait time for just dumplings to take away was lacklustre. The lack of priority for customers with takeaway orders completely takes away from the convenience of getting take away from here. I was sat down with a table number and only one staff member was able to see that I was waiting and then did not follow me up with any progress was poor customer service. I ended up waiting 30 minutes for two servings of dumplings. The place is a gem, but if I’m ever in a rush, I’m not going to be visiting this place again unfortunately.
