Giving them 1 star because their guest services team is remarkably unresponsive. If you have any issues or questions with your booking, good luck because you'll need it! Firstly, they do not have any phone number so you'll be waiting, in my instance, days for a response to your inquiry. I wanted to cancel my booking, so they give you credit that must be used by end of season. No cash refunds so beware. But, then the snow credits are incredibly difficult to use. Instructions say its transferrable to family members, but when tried, it wasn't working. Guest services kept on referring me to the same article, which was not helpful. Each correspondence takes several hours or days, which is incredibly frustrating. With ski passes being such a large investment, I would caution you in going to Perisher if issues arise. You can say goodbye to your money. There are several other mountains, many less expensive, that offer much better customer service and are still just as fun. @Perisher, if you see this, please respond back to me. It's been days

No lifts really open. The ones that are, are very crowded, Vail don’t invest in Perisher at all while charging $230 for a day pass. None of the restaurants I’ve been to accept the epic pass so how can they really advertise it getting discounts if you can’t use it? Almost no detachable lifts. Ski tube is now $80 a day for a train that is 40 years old. Further, I saw a poster online (likely from the early 90s), of a $10 return special. Inflation and maintance cosys would not increase by 9x in 30 years. This is price gouging at its finest. My season pass I paid $1000 for didn’t work, so we had to ski down to the bottom and spend an hour sorting it. Further, there was no notification that my existing card would be loaded with my new season pass. Of course you have to pay $5 for a plastic card. In whistler, they’re free.

Always a great experience. Staff do their best. But I completely overwhelmed at peak times. Lessons are at ground level though they make you buy lift tickets. Lift tickets always a rip off. Take caution with everything you do. Especially the T bar lift which people tend to fly off with young children and get stuck halfway up the mountain. It's all part of the thrilling experience but take caution. I think that in future the safety will be improved.

Great place to ski. Good deal on season pass. They don't have a contact phone number meaning if there is a problem with you purchasing you ticket, you can only email them! Meaning you miss out on discounts they offer for pre purchasing products. If you go, hope you enjoy waiting 10minutes for a ride too.

The shear fact that it has 4 very different resort areas that are all Li ked by lifts (or ski tube) makes this the best Australian resort for choice of runs and terrain. It always seems to have more snow coverage than it's competitors. Plenty of 'on mountain' areas to eat to escape the larger village food court areas. Good discounts also if you get a season pass. Be sure to get your national Park pass as rangers check car number plates every day. Also be aware the car park fills very quickly on weekends. Ski tube from bullocks flat is always a sure thing to beat the car park issue and also saves fitting chains on snowy days.

It would’ve been five stars if it hadn’t been for the nasty comments from Josh about our “mentally slow” fellow learners. on the first day, we had Joe and he was amazing and very encouraging and compassionate. He walked us through the process and understood that snowboarding is challenging. to our surprise, on the second day we had Josh and and he was rude and made snarky comments about our performance. We had never been snowboarding before and were new to the sport and we deserved more respect then what we were given.

Perisher Ski Resort is one of the finest Skiing facilities in Australia. There are ample snow gear hiring options within and around it. There is hot food served within Perisher Ski Resort for a nominal price. Toilet facilities are also available which are frequently maintained and are relatively clean. We were traveling with three kids which included a one year old however the trip went smoothly. Don't forget to arrive early to get a parking spot bearby the resort otherwise, you have to catch a free bus to get there.

Came for a feed with friends. Food wasn't bad but not many food options either. It was pretty pricy, and most items averaged at $25+ (not including drinks) but apparently a standard price for perisher. I ordered the beef lasagna with chips. You get to choose chips or mash and add vegetables too. The chips were a good serving size and really nice and crispy. You could fill up on chicken salt and condiments to your liking on the self serve desk. The beef lasagna was not bad. It was a bit mushy in the centre, however it was a good size and they had a good chunk of cheese on top of the lasagna; just the way I like it. I ate around 1:30pm and the line was still pretty long, however not a long wait as they do serve you pretty quickly. Staff were nice and friendly too.

Had such an amazing experience at Perisher, It was my first time ever seeing snow and snowboarding. The staff there were super kind and helpful and the ski hills were well maintained. My main problems were that everything was quite pricey along with the ski hill being extremely busy. Unless you were willing to pay for a lesson the steep slopes were kinda difficult to learn on, Sort of a being thrown into the deep end kind of situation. As for the small area provided for learning it was just far too small for the sheer amount of people in there, any attempt to ski down it would almost certainly end in you taking out a family or two. All and all tho it was such a mystical experience to be able to see snow and learn how to snowboard on it.

Snow time! If you are in Sydney or Canberra, and you really want to experience a fun snow time then come to this place. It could be packed but there are always spaces for you and your loved ones to play arround. The snow is just so thick and very sophisticated. I am in love with this place! Really wish to visit again

Perisher is literally my favourite place on this planet. It is a super good atmosphere but new people should stick to starter slopes and get lessons. Very expensive but well worth the money. Every time I go I make new memories that will last my lifetime.

Brilliant place to ski with lots of places to stop and have a drink.or a bite to eat. We always ski at the end of the season and it never disappoints. Blue skies and sunshine with lots of different runs to use. Who could ask for more? On weekends and on school holidays the carpark fills up quickly so don’t turn up later than 9 am or you’ll be parking on the street and walking. To make life easier for yourself HIRE A LOCKER for both your boots and skis if you are on the slopes for several days. It makes a huge difference both before and after you ski. Apart from that watch out for fellow skiers and have fun!

My favourite snow finding place. Great for non skies families. Kids friendly toboggan area which is not available in Thredbo. Ample parking, plenty rest rooms. Kudos to all perisher workers to make it accessible to us

I didn’t stay at the resort but did use the slopes, i can say its really nice, it gets really busy during peak time however, that is standard. I recommend driving up to the slopes on a good day as it is easy to find parking and you save money if you use the skitube.

Place is nice, life passes are expensive tough. close to $200 per day per person, has the most lifts in Australia and you can explore 4 mountains. For beginners, front valley is not a great place, it's actually steeper than some other runs like pretty valley and happy valley. views from top is fantastic during bluebird day. base become crowded from 12:30 as the lessons finish at 1 and hard to find the seat during peak hours. Great for families.

Went for vacation to Perisher, didn’t stay there. Reasonable food options until 3PM, transport- ski tube frequency is okay every 30 minutes but always crowded. Car drive is great but not on snowy days, check the weather before you start. You need to pay $30 for round trip Free bus shuttle frequency from Perisher to Smiggins hole is very good Atmosphere- awesome Cost - very expensive accommodation but food cost is fine Ski rentals- Need advance booking

Accommodation was great. Skiing was pretty good with decent weather. If the conditions deteriorate due to rain or snow, the ski runs are not marked adequately, and this makes it difficult to ski. Some of the lift operators are extremely rude. Most staff are searching for a please and a thank you, but they let themselves and their team down as they have way too much ego. There’s room for improvement here which smells like an opportunity for the right recruiting & training organisation. Hopefully the service and ski runs get better🤞

The service we received from Mark Slavin helping us with our lift tickets was exceptional. He could not have been more friendly or efficient. He had people coming at him with queries from all directions and he calmly helped multiple parties at once. An awesome display of customer service.

The guest service is just arbitrarily poor. We had lessons booked and their terms of service say you can’t move the lessons within 48 hours (unless it suits them). But there is clearly plenty of availability for the lessons on the day we booked and the day we asked to move (because of predicted poor weather, not change of mind) and rather than just press a couple of buttons and move the date, they spend the same amount of time sending an email back saying sorry, you’ve asked something that couldn’t even be achieved by a Royal Commission. Overall this is the second time we’ve been this year and the facilities are poor and dated, their guest services are useless and their policies are just unnecessarily convoluted and negative. The experience has made it likely that I will never return to a ski field in Australia and just go to (unbelievably) cheaper and better run ski fields in other countries. Well done team.

Great resort with beginner friendly chairlift and track. Very spacious but can get very busy on Saturday morning. Make sure to get in early to for a car spot otherwise there’ll be a long walk for you

Snow is awesome here. Prices are extortionate. The place is definitely gauging even more than usual. But without choice people will keep showing up here and paying the premiums. Definitely better and cheaper to go to Japan or NZ.

Had a wonderful one day ski trip here, the snow was amazing and the lift lines were relatively short, heaps of lifts open and a good variety of slopes. It was super easy and quick to get our lift passes. The biggest downside was the massive price for one day lift passes and it was difficult to get up the mountain in a 2 wheel drive if you don't want to pay for the ski tube. Overall a good experience.

One of the best place to visit with your family and friends especially if you have kids. Our kids had a blast in the snow. We visit it after winter and still has snow. We did a snow ball fight, we make an igloo and a snow man/our version of olaf. It was such a fun experience.

I hadn’t been to the snow in 6 years and cannot believe the price of a lift ticket. Especially considering the crowds there. Some lift queues took 40 minutes. Everything else, I would have given 5 stars but the lift ticket and overcrowding needs to be immediately addressed. It was so hard to spend almost $200 a day on the ticket alone. I love skiing but I don’t think it’s worth it for that price. I’ll find somewhere more reasonable.

Huge ski resort with many and various runs. There is a place for most skiers here and many social media advice pages so I dont need to add to it here except for the following. A) this place is popular and busy, don't come here to relax. B) prices are not outrageous but a day of takeaway food costs a lot. C) skiing early is often icy. The best snow is later in the day. D) it is very easy to loose friends and family here, bring phones.

The rings themselves are quite good, but everything isn't organised very well. It's a mission to send your kid off to a lesson... I won't come back until they change their policy about ski lift passes. You have to choose exact consecutive days of purchasing a multi-day pass and no matter what the weather is it's when you have to ski! It's going to be raining next three days and we'll have to stick it up and ski in the rain or just loose our passes.😠 Not good enough! Resorts in New Zealand give you and two weeks your lift tickets, no questions asked. I'll go there instead.

The snow was so incredible considering it’s almost the end of the season.. So grateful for the big 60cm dump last weekend.. Was gorgeously sunny first couple days & got cold & misty today that added to the experience.. was very well kept… All of the chair and T bar were up and running and the queues were short. Some of the runs were a bit icy but not too bad and could be skied right over.. Some of the tracks that are super icy are closed but it won’t deter you from having fun & creating memories.. I recommend you leave as early as possible to get a parking spot as it fills pretty quickly & they’ve now extended the season due to the incredible conditions yay because it gets insanely packed very quickly… I’m sure you’ll have a blast ! Go get out & explore ! Fun

Absolutely wonderful experience as a beginner at Perisher! We booked a beginners class and it was 10/10 worth it. We had 2 wonderful instructors, Andy Aitken and Daisy to the 6 of us and they were absolutely so professional and friendly with their teaching approach. They are clearly experts in their field as I was able to spend the remainder of the days at the snow zipping around thanks to them! All the other staff we encountered on the mountain were also so friendly too. 10/10 will visit again and highly recommend getting lessons!

Perisher is an amazing experience! And definitely worth the drive! Plenty of activities for everyone! In peak times though trying to get a park cab be difficult, but that's just like any other place!

snow was surprisingly great for September and was very well kept. All of the chair and T bar were up and running and the queues were short. Some of the runs were a bit icy but not too bad and could be skied right over. I recommend you leave as early as possible to get a parking spot because it gets insanely packed very quickly. I would recommend getting there at around 7:30 which gives you the best chance at getting a good parking. Also giving you the longest amount of time to be able to ski.
