Very unwelcoming attitude of the 25yo man. The worst branch of all the Soul Origins in Newcastle.

A good place with plenty to choose from. I was served quickly by polite & courteous staff.

Sent them an email. Haven't received a response. There was a thickshake that I saw the picture of and I bought one but it was an iced chocolate. Spoke to the lady who made it and they said that was correct but it looked nothing like the picture. It's very deceiving! Edit: I've contacted twice and still no response back. Not going back again.

👎🏽 Why isn’t management taking notice of all these NEGATIVE REVIEWS?? Charlestown staff need to pick up their game. Three times I’ve been to this outlet and they’ve closed at least half an hour early. The customer service is very poor. (The outlet at Kotara is on top of their customer service game). Show respect to your few customers Charlestown and open as advertised!

A few times I’ve had okay service, however for the most part the service is poor. The iced coffee I get ( that normally tastes fantastic from other soul origins) is always bitter and gross tasting from this one. I understand that the coffee machine may need to be turned off before close but it would be nice for this to be advertised in their trading hours.

I had brought some lunch there today because I’ve haven’t had Soul Origni in ages the lady that served me today was rushing like they usually do shoved my Crumb Chicken Pasta in the container real quick with the Crumb Chicken salad didn’t even put much chilly mayo on my lunch just a splat it in one spot after I got that I sat down and opened it slowly eating it and it was probably the most terrible pasta dish I’ve had in awhile the crumb chicken pasta had hardly anything in it like it used to have like capsaicin and crumb chicken just tasted like plan pasta pretty much I won’t be supporting Soul Origin ever again next time I’ll just grab Subway instead wasted $15 bucks with a bottle of water biggest rip off!!

These salads are not fresh and are majority soggy old lettuce. Recently got a caesar from there and the bacon was BAD it taste gross and stunk like rotten meat so I took it back and the condescending woman serving suggested that perhaps I don't know what it was supposed smell like. She refused to refund my money and told another employee "that salad is totally fine." Sumo salad is way better.

Both young Asian fellows were quite noticeably indifferent to customers. Must feel they are superior due to their standing as a retail customer service assistant in a western country. Coffee was okay but next time I’ll go elsewhere.

Chorizo panini we got was nice, though a tad pricey imo considering the size and minimal ingredients. The falafel salad was okay, not very flavourful but the abundance of sauce made up for the lack of flavour I guess. The staff member that served us was generally fine albeit a bit sick of her job lmao. Overall not that bad, better experience than most of the other reviewers here it seems.

If I could give this place Zero stars I would. Absolutely appauling Customer Service, Staff seem to have no emotion and are dead inside. It feels as if they don't want to serve you and that you are a nuesence to them for ordering. Will not go back....
