Another stunning garden setting inside the Royal Botanic Gardens that can also be hired as wedding venue. It's free to explore of course. It's manicured with exotic herbs and well positioned sculptures making it very formal and elegant yet very inviting and relaxing ambiance. Behind this garden is a walkway with terraced area behind it to escape the heat. This garden is perfect in the cooler months as I find this very exposed to the summer heat. It's a gorgeous place to relax and reflect. Very inviting atmosphere for all ages.

The Sandstone Pavilion - Herb Garden was a pleasant surprise while walking through the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney. It is a beautiful and serene spot to walk around or sit on one of the benches and relax. The plants and sculptures in the Herb Garden are so interesting and imaginative. It is located right near the Calyx and also has quick easy walking access from Macquarie Street. #letsguide

Had a lovely walk from the Opera House towards the Royal Botanic Garden. Very peaceful area in the middle of the city where I enjoyed the view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House at the same time.

Nice place in the botanical garden. All the herbs and plant have little stickers with the name on it.

A surprising range if herbs - all well planted and well tended to. This is an elevated part of the Royal Botanical Garden. Being elevated there is often a very pleasant breeze up off Farm Cove. It is a great place to relax. On weekends many wedding parties pass by this part of the garden. Easy access to cafe and to The Calyx.

What a great location for a weekend picnic, this is a well maintained herb garden🪴, pruning a few little herbs for your home ingredients list won’t harm as long as there’s enough plant left to grow more. Must hire out the pavilion through the botanic gardens trust first for large groups.

Herb garden is wonderful to see and smell many different herbs fresh in the soil - ‘constantly changing’ with seasons
