This venue has just recently moved to a new location (just 3 doors up from the old location). Love the beautiful decor with inviting neon lights and greenery wall. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious as always! My favourite dishes from my recent visit: Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (That broth tho. Liquid gold!) Crispy Soft Shell Crab (Irresistible!) Vermicelli Bowl with Lemongrass Chicken (My all-time favourite) Vietnamese Pancake (Definitely not your ordinary pancake!) Vietnamese Iced Coffee (Love how strong the coffee is!) Highly recommend.

The food is pretty good, the portions are a bit small but everything tastes fresh and authentic.

Tried this place last night & thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered! Delicious food & great service. Also loved the variety of vegan dishes available also. Will definately be back.

Ordered via DoorDash and it arrived ultra fresh & delicious! Would definitely try the taro blistery spring rolls! 🧡✅

We came here for early lunch with an Eat Club Voucher. Got the Vietnamese coffee (served hot or cold) - would recommend! We all got pho, Crispy Chicken, Beef combo, and the spicy beef one. Not the best broth I’ve had… average and the spicy one didn’t have much colour either. For a $17 pho you expected more but the servings were alright. Seating is nice when it’s summer and their windows are completely open. Would I return? Probably not

Initially I thought the pho wasn’t too bad, nice beef stock. The noodles were ok and the herbs were alright as well or so I thought. Unfortunately both my wife and I were extremely tired after eating this dish which usually happens when there is a lot of MSG in the soup stock. We both felt like we were hit by a truck so definitely can’t return.

The pancake is great, crispy and tasty. Vegan menu is separate and easy to choose. Nice staff and service.

New restaurant in town. Food is okay, not excellent, but not bad. Good atmosphere and clean. Good place for a quick meal if you are craving for Vietnamese food, also good place to and hang out with friends. I was quite impressed with the male waiter, who remembered all the orders from 9 of us, without writing anything down :D good job!

Food presentation is clean and hygienic. Customer Service is so so. It was courteous but there was an impression to rush and turn the table. As Coeliac family, the waitress flew through the menu quickly and rush us to order. We were asked to share 1 small table that seemed to just fit for 2 people for the three of us. I politely declined.

Picked up my order which was missing half the stuff for the pho. I contacted the restaurant to explain as soon as I got home and noticed, they advised that they would deliver the missing items which didn’t come until two hours later. They also tried to imply it was not the kitchen staff’s fault but rather mine that it was not rectified! They were very unhelpful. It was usually a nice place for pho which is disappointing as I used to go there a lot. After this experience and the way they responded to their mistake, I would not go back or recommend!

The beef pho can be better. But spring rolls are good.

Dreadful. Can only assume the poor wait staff had had a bad day (who knew the eastern suburbs could still be so gloriously pretentious and condescending). Oh well. The food? Well, the duck wraps were 'minimal'. The spicy beef noodle soup was bland, and luke warm. Then, and only after an earnest request, were we begrudgingly allowed a single sliced chilli, and six leaves of basil. Gosh. Excuse us, and our money. We promise to never again darken your door. PS. We love Vietnam, and Vietnamese food. We look forward to further discovering the best of Vietnamese cuisine. Sadly, La Sen was a disappointment, to say the least.

Ordered mamas fish magic with coconut and I do not recommend. The menu didn't state what fish it was nor did the waiter. Turned out it was a salmon watery coconut water soup. Returned it for plain rice and was charged for both. Poor service and communication.

Only received 1 star because that is as low as it goes. Third time being disappointed by this restaurants food and service and will definitely not give it any more chances. The pho was served with spaghetti noodles rather than rice noodles. Fish dish was unbearable, I would rather eat plain rice. Obviously would not recommend, plenty of other Vietnamese places in Randwick!

Very average and bland tasting meal, the prices were not so cheap for the quality either. $18 for a bowl of pho and other soups that were fine I guess but I wouldn't go back.

Contrary to some other reviews, had a very positive group dining experience for dinner with great food at a reasonable price. Wait staff were sometimes a little inattentive but overall a positive experience. Would return again.

Decent food, but a bit over priced (a bit ) for quality. Nothing bad, but nothing special too!
