My brother love bake bar, and he only eats at double Bay store, which is not close to where we live but we make the trip just for him to have their bagel Benedict with salmon. I’ve tried their açai it was good not a thick as I like it. But definitely delicious I Enjoyed the fresh fruit topping. I also got the Apple muffins and they were so good. I’ve also tried their avocado on toast, and there was a big serving of 2 slice of toast. It was amazing as most cafes charge the same price for one toast. the sourdough is so good can taste the sourness in it and that’s amazing. Definitely would be recommending this bakery They have a lot of options from sourdough bread to Zaatar pizza, pastries, cookies, sandwiches, and muffins.

The best gluten free loaf in the whole of Australia! The activated charcoal gf loaf was sooooo yummy, even my non gluten free friend buys it. Please open a store in Melbourne!!

Pretty disappointed in my experience to simply get a coffee. I’m aware that today is a public holiday and things may take longer to make and charge more and was aware of that when I came in to order. At first I asked for an Oat Milk caramel latte and after being told they don’t do flavours I said to make it a mocha. After waiting for maybe 8 minutes they made the drink and I had to question which milk they barista used as I watched her pour it into multiple other drinks. She said it was regular milk and when I told her I ordered Oat milk because my allergy to milk is more than just lactose intolerance, she said I would have to pay extra for them to remake it. She went as far to show me the order with my name on it that was entered as a regular mocha which is extremely disappointing because the milk options was the first thing I had mentioned. I had to ask for a refund because I didn’t have the time to wait for another drink to be made. Quite disappointing, don’t think I’d be going there again

The ambiance, service and food was great! Even though it was very busy were were seated immediately and our coffee and food arrived quickly. Ordered a 'light bites' item that was actually a generous size and therefore great value. 🥑 Good spot for a either a quick coffee or a long lunch. Dog friendly ✅

I was a bit disappointed eating here. I live the bake bar GF bread but despite the menu listing many items as gf or df option because the sandwiches were pre-made it meant the menu for dietary restrictions was limited. We would have like a gf/DF tuna sandwich, but this was pre-made we were given the option of the team dismantling the pre-made sandwich and replacing the bread, but this was sent very enticing. Instead my husband and I had the gf tuna burger. The fries were also bear batter d so unsuitable. Prices were reasonable , food was decent. For a quicker eats option I would eat here again.

Food is great mostly, so is the drink (blended iced coffee is great on hot days!). Service not so much, there’s probably one or two decent staff

Bake Bar is always busy and, given the quality of its baked goods, salads and hot food, I would say it deserves to be so. I have now dined here several times and I have never had any issues with the food. The prawn linguine was of a generous portion, not only in terms of pasta but also the number of fresh and large prawns included. The halloumi salad was surprisingly filling, despite the liberal application of zesty dressing. The mini spinach and ricotta, potato and mushroom and sausage rolls ($2 each) are great value - grab a couple for an afternoon snack or lunch the next day. The only critique I would give is that the waitstaff could be more attentive, and perhaps offering table service (rather than ordering and paying at the counter) would cement Bake Bar's place as a local favourite.

Long time fan of Bake Bar double bay. The perfect pit stop before grocery shopping, take away to get my nails done or after a visit to the Library upstairs. Always freshly baked, healthy breakfasts and fresh lunches.

Bake Bar is always busy and you mostly need to wait for a table. Often this is just 5-10mins. But that is evidence of the quality of the food. The linguini was oh-so-good especially if you like creamy/cheesy pastas. We also had the chicken schnitzel burger and the yummy but healthy Japanese-inspired salmon salad. This was a nice balance to the "heavier" dishes. The kids love the triple cheese puffs which we always order when at any of the Bake Bar locations.

So freaking good! Obviously the bread is fantastic but the actual dishes were great too. Super rich in flavours and texture! Definitely recommend this place! Be back for sure

Usually good. Nice and quick, and egg dishes are good and well-priced. However, coffee was cold, Açai bowl is pretty terrible, and they use packet sliced ham on their eggs Benedict.

I got one of the best Lemon Meringue Tart from here 🍋🤤 The Chicken Basil Mayo Sandwich was also nice 🥪❤️ I’ll definitely come back and try other menus!

Really can’t see what the fuss is about. Never had a good experience here. Very average food and rude staff! Go to White rabbit opposite. Lovely staff and their pastries are delicious!

Had a great late breakfast with a couple if friends. I had the chorizo shakshuka and my partner the scrambled eggs. Both meals were great and the serve of scrambled eggs was huge. Service was fast and friendly.
