Beautiful gardens, tasty granny-chic cakes (hand made by bone fide grannies) and interesting tour of the home.

Idyllic, nostalgic, eccentric little place. We must preserve it at all cost. A testament of an era gone by, and probably, a figment of simpler lives.

Short walk from Gordon station. Check website for opening hours. Heritage listed and a gem to see in spring.

Wonderful old house and grounds. It is a little run down and could do with a bit of a tart up but we'll worth a look.

I've been here for the Christmas markets for a number of years. The markets are nice and have a good assortment of hand made items such as clothing, jewellery, food, and other crafts. It's a beautiful house and garden in a lovely neighborhood. Street parking can be tough, but there's a car park at the end of the street near the rail line.

Beautiful historic old home reflecting its age and time with furnishing. It receives no funding buy run by a trust and volunteers. The garden is also a feature with a beautiful range of camellias and garden rooms. Go and do a tour of both house and garden!

Great place to visit on a lovely sunny day. The guided tour of The house was excellent. I learned a lot about Professor Waterhouse too. Enjoyed The tea &scones in the garden.

One of the secret places of Sydney. Not only a heritage listed garden, fabulous architecture, but the best venue for a garden wedding. Flowers, savvy hosts and the ability to design your own special event. I know, my daughter had her wedding there, beautiful and special! Thank you Eryldene!

I love this place. It's great to visit and enjoy the tranquility of the gardens, take tea and on Mother's Day shout Mum tea and cakes served in Edwardian style.

Beautiful and peaceful gardens with lots of garden 'rooms'. The garden hosts a stunning annual Christmas market with everything from plants to precious stones. Well worth travelling for!

Came for the jazz. Gardens look lovely. Ambience at the jazz was not the best, seems as if people chose to go to catch up chatting instead of appreciating the music.
