Nestled amongst the tranquil setting of Broken Hills premier parklands. Centralised with brand new modern facilities including BBQ, sheltered seating, wheelchair access toilets. Historically the memorial is sentimental and is rewarded with appropriate granduer of the time being in fantastic condition. The site lends itself to close walking proximity to Churches and Herirage mapped walks. Great parking at a celebrated picnic site.

A nice memorial not just to the Titanic, but to the band that played while she sank.

Good spot. Lovely grass for a picnic. Good toilets. Kids park has flying fox and climbing web as well as swings. 5yr old says its missing a big slide but there are a couple of small slides. BBQ and a number of picnic tables n bench chairs. There is also a skate/scooter park in the grounds. Great spot!

The New Year's Eve fireworks were well done. Very enjoyable evening. The rose garden was very well maintained. The gardens are well looked after.

👍👍 Choc malt milkshake and a couple of scoops of ice cream were fabulous. The setting was immaculately retro and we loved it.

👍 What an amazing place. Well worth the visit…even if you’re not an art lover! Small entry fee ($5 +/-). Highly recommend! I spent 30 minutes in front of the mural alone. Outstanding!

👍👍 Such a great memorial and a beautiful site at the top of the hill. The memorial was really interesting and very sad to find out how some of these miners passed away whilst working at the mine. It was really quite an eye opener into just how risky this job was. Beautiful views from the top and plenty...

👍👍 We sent at sunset with apparently all the other tourists in Broken Hill! Very busy but everyone did their best to maintain social distancing. If coming at sunset leave enough time to pay for tickets before driving up - it's $6 a person and some people were having a huge amount of difficulty operatin...

👍👍 Great tour guided by Jeremy who knew all about the history and workings of this mine and also the greater Broken Hill area. His family owns this mine and have explored much of it since aquiring it. Call ahead to make sure they are open . VERY recommended tour as long as you're reasonably nimble and...
