How can they afford to turn custom away when the place is empty. We did get a table in the end, the girl serving didn't use our loyalty card even though my husband put it with his money. When I went to order food she couldn't find half of what we wanted had to get help off another girl. The food when it came was very nice I was surprised.

Stopped in for breakfast whilst staying in the Premier Inn on Saturday morning. The food was lovely and hot and very fresh. Lots of variety including all your typical ‘English breakfast’ options, pastries, pancakes, cereal and yoghurts as well as fruit. Drinks options were juices and coffee as well as water. Very satisfied with our meals, would come again!

Lovely place not far from the beach with several fast food places close by due to it being next door to a hotel and not far from the cinema. Been here a few times and never disappointed. The food I'd good and plentiful and definitely cooked to order unlike some other chain restaurants I've been to. As a disabled customer I find the facilities extremely friendly and accessible unlike some places. Another thing I love about this venue the staff aren't constantly asking you if everything is OK and leave you to eat unencumbered. They do make themselves available if there is a problem. Also I have a major food allergy and they are really good at making sure I don't need to use my epipens. I would recommend because the menu is easy to navigate and clear with what is in your order. The menu isn't too extensive either so you're not flipping pages back and forth trying to decide what you would like. 5 star service from ordering to receiving and to clearing. The staff are friendly, courteous and incredibly helpful with my allergy

We waited almost 1 hour for food to be served, children's meals only sufficient food for a 1 year old, chips were over cooked as if they'd been double cooked, gravy was like water, selection of 3 pies meal looked like a chdrens meal. They weren't overly busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff. We shall never go to a Brewers Fayre again after this experience, very disappointed.

Staff front of house rude and abrupt. Food 45 minutes wait and when arrived it wasn't really hot. I had chicken and half ribs, ribs were dry on the top, chicken hidden underneath the ribs was dry. Crunchily over cooked and tasteless. The side salad Lettuce was shot through with brown edged leaves and the cucumber was dry. Took a further long wait for table to be cleared and desert to be brought. Just no one around. They were out of several food items and ran out of of lemonade while we were there. I used to enjoy the treat of coming here, and have had stunning service at many other brewers fair around the country, this one however needs sorting out very quickly. Poor food, poor service, poor atmosphere with other customers faces saying they felt simarlarly. Male staff member eventually cleared our table and was really polite and nice. Noted one of our servers manner improved markedly with the male around.

Poor experience here. The dining room and tables were clean, and the staff were polite, however this is where the positives end. We ordered upon arrival, and waited over half an hour for a starter which was burned on top and tasted as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. The mains wernt much better, the burger was just okay, but the lentil hot pot was vile. The hot pot had blatantly been microwaved as the potato's on top were freezing cold (along with the veg) whereas the "filling" was absolutely boiling in temperature. Such a shame, as used to be a lovely place to come for a meal.. the restaurant wasn't even busy on a Friday night

Large menu but most of the menu didn't have ingredients for the Saturday night menu. Such as Steak and unbelievable salad cob. We adhered to the entrance sign of wait to be seated, we had to ask a member of staff to be seated. Food what we actually got salad was waterlogged, chips hiding under rack of ribs and bbq sauce splattered over the food to make matters worse covered with skin.

We went 2 days in a row. We rang to book a table for both days (9th july 2021) first day it was quite, the place was clean only downside my scrambled eggs was stone cold. (10th July 2021) Second day it was very busy, after we waited about 10 mins to go and be seated they placed a sign the main front door to say they were full. We were taken to our table, the staff member told us that they were really busy. The staff were great and friendly both day that we went, clean place

Smothered platter is very nice, unfortunately they thought our starter should come after our main. Small mistake though, easily done, can't blame the trainee.

Staff are terrific and very helpful. Good disabled access and accessible toilet. Good breakfast (buffet) and main meals are good too. Beer prices are reasonable across the board. If your staying next door at the Premier Inn, then do take advantage of the 'meal deal'.....it saves you a lot of money. Establishment is clean throughout. Only disappointment was that they do not do 'Light Bites' or snacks. If you are one of the public who are not a big eater, then sadly there's no options for you here. We didn't want a big meal....so had to order children's meals! Not very good really, and the company needs to address this. Otherwise a pleasant experience and we voted over the weekend a steady 8/10.

Food was good but stood in the carvery queue for 35 mins the service was poor. We actually got in the queue before the ticket was bought because the service was slow Usually a good meal and good service but not today.

Had a lovely meal here. I had the smothered chicken and the chicken was lovely and moist, didn't have to wait long after ordering and if you go between 12pm and 6pm you get 2 meals for £9.79. It is off a smaller menu but a good selection.

  • 1/5 Nick B. 3 years ago on Google
It rubbish and only small limited menu and not even 2m social distancing and the staff were rude.

  • 5/5 Pat W. 2 years ago on Google
Brilliant There was a big group of us and they did their very best to serve us all together. Food was hot and plenty of it and very reasonable at two meals for less than £10. Staff friendly and there was plenty of room for us to be comfortable. Excellent value please keep.it up as it was a pleasure to come out.

Great value for money. We stayed at the Premier Inn next door and had a cracking breakfast here in the morning. All you can eat with a great choice of foods. We also came back in the afternoon for the Sunday carvery which was also superb with plenty of choice.

Very helpful staff. They all looked after us and we felt comfortable with the arrangements in place . Their was a wait for the hot food but we were kept upto date on any delays. The food came before the delay time. BRILLIANT. Good parking and facilities. See you again soon.

Had a leisurely breakfast here the day of the Queen's funeral. We booked a table near a TV screen in a corner so we were able to watch the day's events unfold. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was great and good value for money.

Ok but had to wait over an hour for food to be served which is a bit extreme for a pub

  • 3/5 Steve T. 1 year ago on Google
Sorry but was not impressed..... Sunday 4pm... not busy. Had the steak meal, nothing exciting, cooked medium rare, tick, but but struggled to chew through. Empty plates (ish)left with us for an hour.... shuffling menus on empty tables but no...."how was your meal, everything ok".... nope.... all in all a bit of a disapointment to be honest.

We came for a birthday dinner tonight and the service was superb - nothing was too much trouble for the team. The manager was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, and adjustments to the standard spec of the meal was no problem at all. Would recommend and will return.

Came for my sons birthday tea. The staff were so kind and even gifted my son a birthday present ! The food was gorgeous and we waited no longer than 10 minutes for it to come to our table Would recommend to everyone and now we'll always be coming here for our family get togethers The staff were awesome and food was perfect!

Very dissatisfied somewhat disgusted after paying £ 48 per head for 3 for Xmas day at this price we expected silver service instead we got chaos inedible food not to mention we had to fetch our own veg that had been sat being kept warm over at the carvery section also had to wait way over an hour for dessert only to be asked what we'd ordered as misplaced paperwork. Bearing in mind that people were just walking in for carvery hence little to no service afforded to those that had paid and booked prior to the day...never thought profit would come before customer welfare. Doesn't even deserve 1 star

Waiting over an hour for food....and it wasn't even busy. Food came and half the plate had warm food on it but I did get cold chips and steak. Didn't send it back as I was starving and didn't want to wait another hour for it to be rectified. Dirty tables, uncleared tables, bar full of dirty glasses....won't be going again. Will stick to the The Haven at Grimsby as they are absolutely fantastic

We visited on the 31st of May while on holiday and the pub was really busy . Thankfully we had booked . There was a queue to order but the staff were excellent, really apologetic and they never stopped working. We were told a 50 minute wait but our food came after 20 and it was hot and delicious. The staff were absolutely amazing throughout our visit .

  • 5/5 Wayne R. 1 year ago on Google
Can't comment on the food as was there in a professional manner but can on the staff and the atmosphere, in particular the manager Amy. Such a welcoming and professional person as were the other staff members I encountered. I was immediately met by one of the waitresses and then by Amy who was extremely friendly and helpful from the offset. Such a vast difference between here and another of the same company just down the road.

The food was ok but nothing special. Service was slow as there wasn’t many staff on at all and I think one girl was very new as she kept taking food to the wrong tables. Looking around there was a lot of dirty tables, full of plates and glasses but the young girls on shift were trying really hard. The cocktails were really nice.

First time we have visited even though we are quite local to the area and we will definitely be back. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was brilliant. We ordered starters, main meals, childrens meal, puddings and drinks. The food was brought out quickly and was very tasty. I was really impressed with the children's meal. The pub was clean and the staff were lovely, I had asked for a small favour from a member of staff in relation to our little boy and they helped us out without a second thought, excellent service and the little things like this make all the difference. Made a lovely family day out, especially as we do don't go out very often. Thank you, we will be back. Hopefully the staff read this review....Our little boy ate more of the bread than the Ducks!!!!

We went for a carvery as it has always been nice before but we were disappointed. By 2pm, they had run out of beef and some vegetables. Sprouts weren't cooked. Service was completely stopped to refill food for 10mins despite the queue. Cauliflower cheese was lovely, but parsnips and roast potatoes seemed frozen.

  • 5/5 Carol S. 6 months ago on Google
Had another great Sunday lunch, only downfall was the sprouts we're undercooked. Couldn't get knife through. I do like them slightly hard but these were a bit too much. But still excellent as usual. Many thanks to all staff.

Friendly pub, clean, plenty of tables on this Saturday lunchtime visit, food was good and came quickly. Easy access and parking for all. No dogs inside but ok at outside tables, no shelter outside if wet.

We are on holiday here and always come here, and not disappointed again, from the lovely ladies that served us ( who was very friendly) to the chef who cooked my favourite dish ( smothered chicken) to perfection it was the best I've tasted and we eat at a brewers near home 1-2 times a week. So would definitely recommend this place 👌.

You get what you pay for but the food wasn’t the best as you may know, it’s just basic microwave food it seems. Fills an hole.

Pleasant venue but portion size of main meal was pathetic, very poor value for money. Staffing levels inadequate, not acceptable to see staff rushing around which inevitably affects customer service, will think twice about revisiting.

The Covid-19 arrangements are good, but the food and service is mediocre. Had a terrible meal on my first night but excellent service, a nice meal on my second night but poor service. If only they could do both.

My online booking didn't work but they seated us anyway. We waited almost an hour for our food which was a long time just sitting. It didn't seem that busy.It was cold in there too, especially sitting doing nothing.Despite all that ,the food was good.

A standard chain restaurant. Confusing one way system. Soap dispensers were not working correctly in the toilets though hand sanitiser was freely available. Outside tables were full of empty glasses but as we only saw 2 members of staff, it is understandable that they can't do everything at once

Food was lovely. The only reason it wasn't 5/5 is because the service between main course and pudding )or ordering for pudding) was very slow. Probably due to current restrictions, but the food was great.

Top drink and nosh as we have come to expect from Brewers Fayre. Make sure you book in advance due to Covid restrictions which were well implemented by the friendly, helpful staff. Bit annoyed that tips apparently go to charity and not the staff though as we wanted to give them a bonus for the service.
