This was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. If I could give it zero stars I would. First of all your greeted by a desk clerk behind glass, with multiple security guards in the lobby. You cant even hear what the guy is telling you during check in. And the security guards just star at you like your some type of felon. We were given a first floor room which was fine, other than the windows did not lock and there were wood blocks wedged in them. The a/c unit was loud and smelled musty. And for added comfort their were security guards posted in chairs in the hallway. I have no idea what that was about. The hall had a strong skunk odor. Which we all know what that is. The photos of the hotel are very outdated. This hotel is very run down and the photo showing the breakfast area DOES NOT exist. There isn't even any coffee available in the lobby in the morning. We booked online for two nights, and the second night we decided to just leave and take the long drive home after our event. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, this should be a $59 a night hotel not $129.

I have stayed at better hotels in 3-world countries. I can’t believe this is a Ramada. When we checked in with two kids at night we were actually fearful. There were three security guards, caseworkers all around the lobby and the hotel workers were behind thick glass like a bank. The hotel was very dirty - floors, walls and ceilings. There is no breakfast, although you probably would not want to eat there if offered. Ramada should take the branding away. This hotel was horrible. Picture of chair in room, ceiling above our room door. Not worth $150….not worth $25! Horrible experience. Don’t stop here.

This hotel was the craziest place I've ever been. Not only did I see more security guards than guests, but the entire check-in desk was covered with glass, as if they were protecting themselves like bank tellers. DO NOT LET THESE PHOTOS FOOL YOU. They are indeed photos of this Ramada, but I'd be surprised to learn that they were taken in the last decade. This place is RUN DOWN. And moist. the air was so so moist. Like, incredibly musty and humid. Definitely would not be surprised to learn that there is mold in this place. Ceiling tiles - there were just as many missing as their were in place. Why should I see the wiring in the ceiling of the hotel I'm staying in???? Things were falling down and falling apart. There is NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST!!!!!! Even though that's what it says in the booking AND in the Ramada binder they have in all of their rooms. When we went to the "Cafe' International" in the morning to claim our continental breakfast, as promised, we were told by a man that "this food is not for guests." Then WHO!!!!! might I ask, IS IT FOR!? They advertise having a restaurant, but it just looked like a group of men having a meeting or playing a game of poker -- there was no restaurant. Just a room with food that is not for guests. The Super 8 next door seemed like a luxury establishment compared to the ruins of this here Ramada by Whyndham. Save your money, and save your souls.

Worst place for anyone to consider. This place is not being operated as a normal hotel, it's more of a social services temporary shelter. The property is rundown filthy, with individuals constantly loitering inside and outside the property. The clerks at the check-in area are protected by a wraparound bulletproof glass, which speaks for itself. I will not recommend this property, avoid it at all cost. As you enter the main entrance, there are multiple mopeds one of them appears to be abandoned. I also observed abandoned van in the main parking area in front of the property. That is visible broken and damaged parts of the building with missing lights etc

If I could write a "0" review for this place I would. I did not stay here. I made a reservation that I never received a confirmation for. I called to confirm and they had no record. I made a new reservation thinking my original had never gone through. We ended up having to cancel the day before because I tested positive for covid. They CONFIRMED that all reservations in my name were canceled. The next day I received a charge for $213.00 for a room I never saw. My husband walked up to the front desk and they would not speak to him, give him a manager's phone number or acknowledge him in any way in front of a room full of people who were on his side. Do not waste your time with this place. It's a bunch of scammers.

I grew up in Newburgh. I was up for a family affair with no where to stay and coming back from a deployment overseas to visit family. This was the only hotel available. I’d have rather have slept in my car. Building and rooms were once nice but are now worn down. Horrible staff experience. I was quoted one price but actually charged $107 more. We actually called to check out early and they never processed our check out and charged the full amount of the reservation vs. them dropping the last night and processing the original quoted rate of $343, as promised over the phone. Still pending resolution to the over charges. Would not stay again based on staff experience, and cleanliness.

This place should get a 0 as a review. One of the worst hotels we ever stayed at. they are using it as a homeless center. Do not bring your kids here. Only lasted 3 hours. 25+ families there for a tournament asked for a refund and had to find other hotels. Security guards were posted in chair throughout hotel. Bullet proof glass where you are greeted. As my 11 year old son said, Very sketchy place. STAY FAR AWAY! Ramada/Wyndham should be embarrassed.

This is one of the worst hotels that we've ever seen. We were booked for two days and we didn't make it ten minutes. Walking into the lobby there was a food voucher table, reception desk has two inch plexiglass (for their safety), security staff sitting in folding chairs at every entrance/exit and people sitting in the parking lot up against the building smoking pot. Try updating website because pictures show couches in lobby (now there's folding chairs instead), No restaurant and Orange County Choppers is no longer there, building empty. So you can stop using that as a tourist attraction. This place is a joke and unsafe. Not a tourist hotel... It's a welfare hotel.

Another low rent welfare hotel .people hollering and a screaming in the lobby. Stinks of reefer. Armed security guards in lobby. Rooms are dirty with threadbare carpet. Bathrooms haven't had a remodeling in 25 years unless you call painting the shower walls a remodel..BTW the paint is peeling. No outlets by bed for charging. Only decent thing is the parking lot. You can put a tractor trailer or two in it.

This hotel is run-down. They don't have an operating pool, gym. There is no breakfast. The service is terrible and they lack customer service skills. Did I mention the roaches? Don't even think of staying here. The only positive thing is that it is close to every restaurant, fast-food, walmart, home depot, lowes, Target, etc.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my entire life and I’m 60 years old! For starters there were armed guards at all entrances and exits which I found a little alarming. After I got past the guards the smell of old nasty carpet almost knocked me off my feet. I’ll get to the point: Advertised free breakfast when I booked it, but that was not true in n fact there wasn’t even a restaurant. No coffee machines in the rooms. Cockroaches in the hallways. Furniture was falling apart. Ice machine had fungus growing out of it. This place was GROSS!

It’s absolutely horrible. The service, the rooms, the staff. Do NOT stay here 😭😭😭 they do NOT have wifi. They DO have bed bugs, roaches and spiders. The bed was stained and flat out dirty. The doors don’t lock properly. The shower had built up dirt/hair/grime. There was dust on the furniture proving nothing had been cleaned or even wiped down in who knows how long. “Security” was hanging out on the first floor in a room with the door open, talking about their roach problem. We switched rooms THREE times before making an executive decision to just find another hotel. Unfortunately we booked last minute and Ramada was our only option. For $795 for two nights. The entire hotel is so run down and stinks. Legit needs to be completely shut down and demolished. I was so appalled at the horrendous condition of this place. DO NOT STAY here. Its the section 8 of hotels.

My stay at the Ramada Hotel was beyond terrible. I'm not quite sure how this hotel has a rating of 2.7 stars because it should be a 0. To start off, there are multiple security guards lingering around the lobby and sitting on chairs in the hallways. Now, you would think this would be reassuring for your safety, but it is the complete opposite. It was very uncomfortable, and they look at you as if you're doing something wrong when you're not. There are two ladies set up right at the entrance with a table, and their shirts say "case workers," and I think this has to do with the fact that this hotel provides housing for immigrants, which would be okay if a heads-up was given because I don't think everyone would feel comfortable with this. There were a bunch of random people just lingering in the front of the hotel, in the parking lot, and right by the main entrance, smoking, drinking, etc. There were loose beer bottles in the parking lot, which is kind of a hazard. The hotel room was definitely not worth $548. The room has not been updated in god knows how long; the room was musty, with fingerprints and holes all over the wall. A proper blanket was not even provided. They had what looked like a curtain on top of the bed as some sort of decorative item. There were moths and flies coming into our room. I was not sure where they came from, but they were gross. Me and my boyfriend were booked for 4 nights, and each night we had to get new room keys because it wouldn't work after we had been out for the day. On the third day, we left around 11 a.m. to get breakfast (outside of the hotel because they do not have a restaurant), and my boyfriend had spoken to the older gentleman at the front desk and asked for housekeeping. The older gentleman had an airpod in his ear (like the majority of the staff) and asked if we were going out; we said yes. We came back an hour or so later and were walking towards our room when another staff member at the front desk yelled something, and then one of the security guards called us over. We get to the front desk, and the staff member (who we had spoken to at check-in and for 2 days or nights) asks us where we are going. We state our room, and he says, "You already checked out!" We said no; our stay is for 4 nights. He asked for the name that the reservation was under (mind you, he knew my name and our faces) and said, "My apologies." This really rubbed me the wrong way because even if we had "checked out," all of our items were in the room, so what were they going to do with them? I would ask to speak to a manager to get a refund, but based on the replies I've seen on these awful ratings (which are all accurate), I doubt I would get anywhere. This was by far the worst "hotel" experience I've ever had in my life. If I could rate it a 0, I would. Beware; do not stay here. To whichever staff member reads my view, please do not respond with your poor excuse of an apology of, " Dear valued guest, On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future. I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience. Sincerely, "

Rooms were filthy with urine and blood on the mattress cover. The air condition did not work. The dirtiest and most unkept hotel I have ever stayed in. Not a good experience at all. We chose to leave after check in and was still charged for the room. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Do not stay here. We were traveling on the highway when a bad sleet/rain storm happened and it was just after sunset, so we decided to stop for the night. I called this place based on the GPS location on my phone and reserved a room. Ugh - - imagine our dismay when we arrived and found the front desk surrounded by bullet-proof glass!...and a security guard sitting in the lobby! Not exactly the comforting vibes you want from a hotel. The room was adequately clean with no evidence of bedbugs or roaches. Beds were adequately comfortable. The next morning we saw caseworkers in the lobby and a sign referring to a men's shelter. Apparently the hotel is being used for a shelter AND a hotel - not a good mixed use at all. It was very overpriced considering our experience. I would never go back there again - even if the room was free.

Filthy, disgusting dump. This was hands down the most horrible, disgusting hotel I've ever set foot in. How Ramada allows its name on this hole is mind blowing. Stairs, halls, lobby all filthy. Room was eh, someone made an effort to clean that, but it was awful smelling and old. Accosted by a homeless dumpster diver on the way out. Security sits at back door 24/7. Management at front desk is ignorant and tried to extort $40 (cash only lol) from me for an early check in, yet was going to downgrade my room in the process. Not that any room could possibly be a downgrade from what we got. Whole place is disgusting, reeks of smoke and completely and totally unfit for rental. AVOID even if it's free.
