Fantastic, chilled vibe. Elegant and unpretentious in a pavilion setting with lovely twinkling lights. Initially we stopped for a cold beer at a table with sand between our toes - and having chatted with the gardener about his orchids! We went back for dinner; fresh ingredients, large plates (although there are tapas style plates too), great choice and a mellow play list. Would definitely return.

The view is AMAZINGGG, and the restaurant itself is GORGEOUS :) My server Janelle, and the drinks/dessert were great. I got the cucumber gin lemonade! HOWEVER… sadly my meal/dinner was super terrible :( my paella was so under seasoned and the pork spring rolls were just okayyyyyy. Definitely disappointed since the location and ambiance is amazing, just wish the food was better. I was only able to eat a few bites of my entree, and considering the price of the food. I would definitely recommend dining elsewhere but coming for drinks/dessert

This place was the cherry on the cake for our visit to Antigua. The staff were genuinely friendly, even helping with our baby at one point. The food was delicious. I ordered the fish tacos and was worried that they would be too small. As you can see, the portions are very generous. I wish we'd had more time, you could easily spend an entire day here.

Amazing late night dinner. Definitely a bit of a hidden gem, and from our experience is a significant leg above anywhere else we tried in Antigua. The fresh seafood and Caribbean drinks were excellent, and the wait staff was very professional and kind. Very well priced for what you recieve. Owner was very welcoming and accommodating. If you are visiting Antigua definitely don't miss this!

Service and ambience first class! Food presentation was very good, however, served warm not hot (bit of an Antiguan theme really so to be expected). We ordered an extra main course to share between the two us because we couldn't decide and it was a good job because we were hungry. Seared Tuna was excellent! Yep, good night out. Always very special here.

We were staying at the Sibony Beach club about a quarter-mile away and they highly recommended this place. Talk about Instagram ready this entire restaurant is so adorable and the staff are so kind. We really enjoyed the dishes and have to give a special note to their from Rum Old-Fashioned. This may be one of my favorite new drinks of all time and I just ordered another one at the Sibony Beach club and it was not even half as good. Def swing by for lunch.

We originally tried to go for lunch on a Thursday and were turned away as the restaurant was fully booked (though it looked empty I think they have a small kitchen maybe) we booked and came back for dinner instead and service was brilliant. Food was really lovely too, I had an amazing banana dessert and the fish tacos were beautifully cooked. Beach through the back of the restaurant is really lovely

We had a great experience here for my wife’s birthday. The food was amazing and the ambience was ideal for an intimate experience. Great for birthdays and anniversaries for loved ones. There’s even a lounge area where you can sit and have a few cocktails. The customer service is also 5 star, as the waitress and hostess were very welcoming and professional. We will definitely be returning in the near future and this time use one of the tables outside in the open air.

This was a family night out, as some know the owner, who thanked us personally on leaving. We were seated at a main table, close to the beach entrance, so beware - your seat will sink in the sand! Menu choices made and drinks ordered, which were well made with a good wine. Meals are not over generous, but considering the prices, my choice was just average - prepared well and tasty, but more style over substance. Evening ambience is relaxing but don’t forget the mosquito spray! I’d hate to have seen the bill, but luckily wasn’t paying

An excellent beach restaurant and bar. Beautiful setting with the option to sit in the restaurant, on outdoor tables or on the beach itself. The restaurant had a modern and tasteful decor. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was fantastic as were the cocktails. Prices were reasonable and probably better value than other equivalent venues on the island. Would strongly recommend a visit!

Our entire dinner was outstanding. Each dish was carefully balanced. I am shocked that someone in another review disliked the paella. My wife and son were fighting over it - it had tender octopus and perfectly seasoned lobster and shrimp. Nothing we ordered disappointed. I was extremely impressed. We ate at the top three restaurants (according to reviews) in Saint John and this was definitely my favorite.

I heard from the locals that it would be expensive to go there, but it wasn't compared to the restaurants at Dickenson Bay where we stayed. The food was very good, deffinateley can recommend. The service was good as well. As minus, they are not open every day and it's not always possible to get a table without a reservation. On the picture, this is what we ordered: seared wahoo, mashed potatos were served on the side.

Had dinner here with my family after it was recommended to us. My experience at this restaurant wasn't pleasant. My main takeaways: overpriced food, small portions so don't go there hungry, bar tender can't make a margarita that was pretty much just apple juice and a glass of wine comes with three sips max of wine. Save your money and go elsewhere. The service was very slow as well and staff not very friendly. Our waitress placed our large bottle of sparkling water opened and upside down in the ice bucket. When I went to get water there was nothing left. She saw it and acted like nothing happened. The mashed potatoes from the box, fish balls from a can then fried, the beets salad comes with very thin slices of beets, the veggies were well seasoned but very small portion and the fries were salty. This place could be better for the price but missed the mark. We got better meals for half the price elsewhere on the island. This place is overrated.

We popped up for a quick drink at night. The place was quite busy actually! It took us some time to get the menu, to be served and paying the bill, that’s why not giving 5 stars, but the cocktails were delicious. Fab location next to the sea!

Great meal in a beautiful location. Our condo complex actually did not have Casa Roots on their recommended list of places to try, but the Google reviews were too good to pass up. The dining area overlooks the beach and comes with a free sunset. Food and drinks were amazing, service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommended if you are up in the Dickenson Bay area.

Highly recommend, Sylvain, the head chef and owner was a most gracious host even while short staffed with two of his chefs calling in sick. A great menu with locally sourced seafood and exciting dishes. All the good stuff you would find at the worlds best restaurants but made better by the tasteful interior, friendly staff and amazing location. The dishes are generous, expressive and delicious. We had their tuna tartare, wahoo tartare and lobster salad to start, all were fresh and flavourful with excellent vegetables which are often hard to come by in the Caribbean. We then had the Wahoo special, grilled octopus and curried mussels, all hit the nail on the head, with elevated beautiful presentation and delicious accompaniments. The bar is top notch as well serving high end spirits, done right - the Moscow mule came in a proper cup with fresh ginger and plenty of ice to keep it from melting while we waited for our table on their complimentary loungers 20ft from the main restaurant on runaway beach. A great wine selection rounded off our perfect lunch/afternoon. Merci beaucoup Sylvain, Nadine et Théo - au plaisir de retourner bientôt! -Denis et Christine
