Learning that I am part of a bipartisan supermajority who supports major climate policy in America has been life changing for me. Knowing that there are so many of us has helped me to feel agency and power — joining with others toward collective action does have the power to bring about the systemic changes we need, especially when those coalitions are intersectional and center the most vulnerable among us. I had been mired in climate doom for well over a decade trying to figure out how to convince other people to care. I felt so alone. Besides voting in primary elections, relational organizing, and volunteering with political campaigns, for years I spent more energy on individual lifestyle changes than on collective action. Visiting the museum pushed me to seek out other climate people to collaborate with and inspired me to pivot my career toward climate justice advocacy. I have learned so much in the past few months since my first visit to the museum. The educational events in particular have been so meaningful to me; I wish I had known about them sooner! I hope the Climate Museum will continue offering pop-up events while they search for a permanent home in New York City. Really, there should be a Climate Museum in every major city on earth! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the staff and everyone involved in creating this space.

The exhibition is well curated and presents the socio-political issues surrounding climate change. The visuals are clear, text easy to understand, and the artwork is impactful. The free for all pop up exhibition also has a children's corner to initiate the importance of climate care for young minds. Must visit till it lasts.

The Climate Museum is such a special place, and they are doing incredible work—I highly recommend visiting! In lieu of comprehensive climate legislation, the folks at the Climate Museum are creating a cohesive space to imagine potential climate futures and educate the public about actions we can take today as individuals. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I hope to see this pop-up get its own permanent space one day—run to see it while it’s in Soho!

Google maps put this museum/event space on my radar, and I’m happy to pay it forward with a review. This is more a pop-up space focused on ground-level climate awareness and activism than a ‘museum’ per se. Which is good! The focus here is on action. I attended a great interview here last Sunday with the executive director of the mayor’s office on climate and environmental justice. Had never heard of the office, role or the individual. Feeling better informed at this point, and more connected to the NYC climate community! Pop in to this pop-up, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Worth the visit! Left feeling informed and empowered and hopeful for the future. I think a great space especially for young people either interested or disillusioned in activism and politics. The staff have curated the exhibit expertly and are very knowledgeable. A good place to stop in even for a few minutes or to stay a while and meet others and discuss the history and future of climate action.

We were lucky enough to visit the Climate Museum over Thanksgiving. It was inspiring. The high school docents we’re full of information and energy. The exhibit is wonderful and the opportunities to take immediate action are right there. We’re excited to go back the next time we are in town!

We need more spaces like the climate museum, where we can come together as community to have conversations around some of the most important topics of our time. Thank you to all the volunteers and supporters to make this space a possibility. Catch a talk, along with other interesting events to educate yourself of how we can be a part of the solution!

Stopped by this museum out of curiosity, and was pleasantly surprised! Their mission is meaningful and crucial to our livelihoods, but it's presented in a way that inspires without pressure to the viewer. Amanda at one of the booths was passionate about exchanging ideas, and I thoroughly enjoyed learning from her about the museum's history! Worth a visit.

I've wanted to visit ever since I first learned about this museum. When I finally got the chance to attend an event and visit the site in person last week, I was thrilled with what I saw. What a valuable resource for people wanting community in the climate action space.

I just attended the most inspiring event with an inspiring figure helping to push forward major climate wins. It was well produced in a beautiful and informative space. If you are even remotely interested in climate I recommend making the trip. You'll undoubtedly learn something.

The Climate Museum exhibition is an eye-opening experience that effectively raises awareness about the dangers of the fossil fuel industry. It's a place where you can truly make a meaningful contribution to our planet's well-being. A must-visit for anyone passionate about addressing climate change.

Very informative. Everyone should visit to learn more about the issue. Design more for younger audience (because older generations are lost?) but it's never too late to learn a new thing even if you are older. Visit this place, bring your kids and grandparents, we are all in this together. Strongly recommend!

While I'm glad there's an effort to bring the focus on climate change, I find it utterly disappointing that there is no mention of the impact of animal agriculture on the planet. Further, there is a reference to "white non-immigrants", which by itself is an oxymoron. Overall there is too much focus on ending fossil fuel consumption, without any suggestions on what steps could be taken.

Mixed bag. Glad it's there and it's message is important. However, be aware that it's a one-sided left wing perspective with a focus on social justice. It's all true, but of course the other side of the story is that the use of fossil fuels has had massive positive effects on the quality of life and longevity of the rich and poor alike--central heating, lighting, electricity and all the things and inventions that run on it, etc. It's time to move on to renewables and yes, the oil companies have been deceitful, pollution has hurt a lot of people etc. The fossil fuel companies have too much power and should be broken up. The way things are presented is clear, but not particularly imaginative.

Great place to learn about how climate change affects us and some major causes. Other than that, they provide great programs and trip opportunities to students and locals of all ages. Being the only climate museum in the country, I'd highly recommend a visit.

Climate Museum Pop-up Review Default (GPT-3.5) The Climate Popup Museum I attended was an enlightening and engaging experience. From the moment I entered, the organizers did a remarkable job of immersing visitors in the world of climate change and its impact on our planet. The interactive exhibits were thoughtfully designed, presenting complex scientific concepts in a user-friendly manner. They used cutting-edge technology to showcase the effects of global warming, deforestation, and rising sea levels, leaving a lasting impression on visitors. The museum's knowledgeable staff and volunteers were readily available to answer questions and facilitate discussions, creating a positive and educational atmosphere. It was evident that they were passionate about raising awareness and promoting sustainable practices. The art installations and multimedia presentations were particularly powerful, evoking emotions and prompting reflection on the urgent need for climate action. I found myself deeply moved by the exhibits, feeling a sense of responsibility to protect our environment for future generations. The only downside was the limited duration of the popup event. I would have loved to spend more time exploring and learning from the exhibits. I hope the organizers consider extending or replicating the popup in the future to reach a broader audience. Overall, the Climate Popup Museum was a remarkable experience, blending science, art, and advocacy seamlessly. It left me inspired and motivated to make a positive impact in the fight against climate change.

Perhaps the most urgently important museum in New York City. Though small, it's a well-curated experience packed full of art and information. They also do regular events/panels/etc. which is a highlight of the museum.

Definitely really enjoyed this museum. They touch on the inequality that comes from climate change which is a topic that doesn’t get enough attention. I wish they included the other sources involved in GHG emissions beyond energy like food and agriculture but hopefully they can do that in the future.

A Captivating Experience at the Client Museum Pop-Up! I recently had the pleasure of attending the Client Museum Pop-Up event and it was an absolute delight! Each piece seemed to tell a unique story, evoking a range of emotions and sparking meaningful conversations.

All of America needs to become aware of this extraordinary museum gallery, dedicated to environmental awareness. Kudos to Miranda Massie, her board and her staff for this comprehensive complex, and yet readily accessible interactive engagement with the environmental challenges and solutions before us. This is a serious celebration of our one and only planet that needs everyone of us here in Whoville to wake up, grow up and show up for the future that we must build together. If not now when? If not us, then, who? Come to The Climate Museum, and be amazed and inspired, and energized.
