Learning
that
I
am
part
of
a
bipartisan
supermajority
who
supports
major
climate
policy
in
America
has
been
life
changing
for
me.
Knowing
that
there
are
so
many
of
us
has
helped
me
to
feel
agency
and
power
—
joining
with
others
toward
collective
action
does
have
the
power
to
bring
about
the
systemic
changes
we
need,
especially
when
those
coalitions
are
intersectional
and
center
the
most
vulnerable
among
us.
I
had
been
mired
in
climate
doom
for
well
over
a
decade
trying
to
figure
out
how
to
convince
other
people
to
care.
I
felt
so
alone.
Besides
voting
in
primary
elections,
relational
organizing,
and
volunteering
with
political
campaigns,
for
years
I
spent
more
energy
on
individual
lifestyle
changes
than
on
collective
action.
Visiting
the
museum
pushed
me
to
seek
out
other
climate
people
to
collaborate
with
and
inspired
me
to
pivot
my
career
toward
climate
justice
advocacy.
I
have
learned
so
much
in
the
past
few
months
since
my
first
visit
to
the
museum.
The
educational
events
in
particular
have
been
so
meaningful
to
me;
I
wish
I
had
known
about
them
sooner!
I
hope
the
Climate
Museum
will
continue
offering
pop-up
events
while
they
search
for
a
permanent
home
in
New
York
City.
Really,
there
should
be
a
Climate
Museum
in
every
major
city
on
earth!
Thank
you,
thank
you,
thank
you
to
the
staff
and
everyone
involved
in
creating
this
space.
