I love history, sightseeing and scavenger hunts. I couldn’t believe there would be a service that mixed them all in such an interesting and fun way. Questing is the best experience on getting to know NYC that I had and I’ve been living in the city close to 10 years. You will end up very happy and getting to know how fun and fascinating the city is. Highly recommend it.

If you’re looking for a fun way to explore NYC — finding oft overlooked city specifics — a Questing scavenger hunt is for you! My daughter and I followed clever clues (with the exact right level of difficulty) around FiDi and South Street Seaport areas of Manhattan. It was challenging, fun and informative. Truly, Questing scavenger hunt was a great find! Jill & Niki Z.

I did the Manhattan Financial District (FiDi) quest with another person I had just met and it was a great way to spend time together and really learn how we both were thinking! I loved the different clever clues and different places the quest led us to explore. We got stuck on a couple of clues which took us longer, but found our way eventually. We did all of the “extra” bonus quests so in total time, was about 3 hours. I highly recommend this to everyone individually or in a group! Note: Plan your timing for the quest based on the weather and at what times you might want a break. We completed the quest on two separate days so you don’t have to do it all at once necessarily.

We had a phenomenal time doing this quest. I went with my teenage daughters, nieces and nephew. We enjoyed answering the riddles and learning so many cool things about our beloved NYC. It’s well thought out with bathroom and snack breaks in between. Whether you’re a lifelong New Yorker or a tourist, you’ll definitely enjoy this one of a kind activity.

Had the most wonderful afternoon doing the Financial District Quest with two girlfriends! I live in downtown Manhattan and learned so many interesting tidbits about this area that I had no idea about. It was the perfect amount of time to spend walking the neighborhood. We did the whole thing in under two hours, and there were so many great places to grab a drink or a bite at the start and finish or along the way. I love that it's self paced. Can't wait to try the quests in other neighborhoods! Will absolutely be recommending to friends and family who visit NYC.

I'd highly recommend Questing NY to tourists and locals alike! It was a lovely way to explore a new area and discover fun facts and features that I wouldn't have come across on my own. The clues were clever and a good level of difficulty - they weren't too obvious but we didn't get stuck at any point. The hunt was a nice length too - it took us a little over an hour but that included a drink stop at one of the suggested cafes. I'd definitely do another of these when I'm next in NY.

The FiDi/Seaport quest was a great afternoon activity for me and a couple of friends! There were some tricky and challenging clues, which made it so much fun to try to decipher. I know the area pretty well, but I saw things I've never noticed before and learned history and facts that made me appreciate it so much more. I'd recommend Questing NY for both visitors and locals!

As older visitors on a return visit to New York, we were looking for something outside the normal tours to give us a behind the scenes look at the city. Questing enabled us to explore Brooklyn at our own pace, speeding up, slowing down and taking side trips according to our interests. The areas visited were a mixture of historical and modern, giving us a flavor of life in greater New York. The 'watering holes' at the beginning and end gave us the opportunity to relax and watch the city pass by.

A way better walking tour! The clues that take you around the neighborhood are so cleverly written; it’s such a fun way to learn about different landmarks and historical sites that otherwise are totally unnoticed. New York is full of hidden gems, and questing helped us uncover them in such a unique way! This was great for a date or small group of friends - locals or visitors.

We had so much fun doing the Quest! Such a great way to discover a host of curiosities in Brooklyn Heights and have a genuinely fun, engaging adventure along the way. Difficulty level and timing were perfectly pitched. Definitely recommend if you like a clever way and fun way to discover the city. Can't wait to try the other ones!

Loved this way to be active and explore around New York while learning interesting facts! Such a fun way to explore the city, get exercise, and be shown some great cafes / historical spots I may have otherwise walked right by!!!

So fun! Spent a really lovely afternoon with our 7 and 3 year old kids doing a mini quest and then playing in the playground at the end. We live in Brooklyn but it felt like we were on vacation as it was a part of the city we never go to. Loved that restrooms and options for snacks were pointed out along the way.
