I had two custom cakes made for my sister and mothers birthday from Halaweyat Hala. I stumbled upon their page as they’re the only bakery I found who makes the knafeh into shapes (like the letter ‘C’ I got for my sister). We’re actually Greek, but my sister LOVES knafeh. The knafeh was absolutely delicious, and the shop was very kind during our communications via instagram. After having that positive experience, and seeing that they also had traditional cakes available in numbers and letters, I decided to get another for my mothers 50th. Due to the party size, I went with the letter M, her first initial. The shop worked with me to pick the colors out of my liking, and they really did not disappoint! Everyone complimented how beautiful and unique the cake was, and to top it off, it tasted delicious! We went with the strawberry Nutella filling with vanilla cake. It was moist and flavorful, and the decorations were stunning! I cannot recommend this bakery enough, and will be sure to use them for future occasions

Halaweyat Hala is the best place for Arabic sweets and every dessert! The owner Hala is the sweetest, most professional and best person to work with! She makes the process of ordering custom cakes and desserts so easy and makes everything you ever dreamed of come alive! All her desserts and custom cakes taste delicious and look beautiful! I always come here for desserts on the regular and I always order for my special events more than once! Hala is truly talented and you will definitely be happy with her service! :)

CAUTION- EVERYTHING HAS PISTACHIO. CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE ANY NUT ALLERGIES. Anyways I wish I had known about this place sooner ! I do love pistachio and their baklava was great. I tried a couple of their other pastries and they were also good. They also do catering.

The girl working was very nice and the sweets looked incredible! The prices were also very reasonable....I got one pastry filled with cream and four smaller sweet ones, everything cost me $4. I feel like going to any bakery, one thing could be worth that much, but here I got 5 things for $4!!! I will definitely be going back!

The owners are super nice and welcoming! The KNAFEH is made on the spot which I loved so it's fresh and warm and delicious and especially with the cheese pull it doesn't get any better! 😘🤌🏼 if you're in the mood for Arabic sweets this is the spot to come to was friends and family. Also, the atmosphere is a nice vibe. I recommend this place it's 10/10. I can't wait to go back there whenever I'm in the area❤️😊👍🏻

This is the best pastry shop around 100/10! The service is amazing they are all so nice & professional - great customer service. The desserts are DELICIOUS my favorite are all the desserts with pistachios!! The aesthetic is so nice too! By far my favorite family owned Pastry shop in the area! They also did some of my family events and the desserts were absolutely beautiful & delicious. My family still talks about the desserts!

Their desserts are delicious! Very delicious. Even their soft serve ice cream is fabulously great. I had their special vanilla flavor that had ingredients making it vanilla with that extra something. The family owned and operated business is very nice as well! Yummy 😋

The best place for middle eastern sweets! There’s always such a variety and the friendliest staff is so helpful! Highly highly recommend for an any time treat. They are always great in accommodating custom orders and never disappoints💕 a family favorite of ours!

Just an Amazing place . Great atmosphere, amazing staff and of course the delicious delicious sweets. I felt like I was back home In Palestine. Can’t wait to go back again

The owners of this establishment are incredibly welcoming, and their delicious sweets are truly beyond amazing. I had a delightful experience watching one of the staff make my coffee off the sand machine. The coffee is made using grinds directly from Jordan, making it very unique and flavorful. It's no surprise that this is my favorite sweets shop in Cliffside Park, NJ.

My first and last time here. Baklava was old, they gave two nutella filled katayifi without nutella. It wasn’t fresh at all and was way too sweet. They put caramel filling on top of a dessert and it was like a rock and again was too sweet

really enjoyed everything my fav was the stuffed Nutella and lotus!!!
