Had the “traditional” cheesesteak short sandwich made with angus beef and cheese, I’m not sure what else was in it. It was good but not what I expected from a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was worth the try.

Step aside Philly, there's a new sheriff in town. I've had all the heavy hitters before. I've taken a a road trip just for a sandwich from Pat's or Genos. Now there's Crottys. This is the perfect spot in Westchester for anything craveable, hearty and cheesy. As soon as you walk in, youre going to see the menu stacked with insane combinations. They don't just have guilty pleasures either. They have tons of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. The staff gives you a warm and inviting greeting when you walk in and have the grill fired up and ready to go. I ordered the Nacho cheesesteak, chicken fingers, Mac n cheese, and the cheesecake bites. I could sit here all day and tell you how great everything was. The leftovers didn't even make it on the car ride home. This sandwich was STACKED with a pound of meat, flaming hot Doritos, ooey gooey cheese, onions, jalapeños and all the fixins. Need I say more?!?! The chicken fingers were crispy and perfectly partnered with Buffalo sauce and their signature slaw. The mac n cheese was sooooo cheesy! Thank you so much Joe, Lindsay, and Paul. Every experience gets better than the last!

Well Well Well.... Crotty's & Yelp has created an addiction. Yelp had an event at Crotty's which introduced me to this establishment and I have now been back a few times. Even twice in the same week. (Smh) You just might miss it... but once you find it you may never forget it. Located steps away from the lona college campus in New Rochelle. I enjoy the option of grilled chicken breast since I do not eat beef. My choice is the custom...loaded on a toasted garlic hoagie with provolone cheese, caramelized onions, jalapeños, grilled tomatoes, and occasionally fried pickles. No matter if it is the shorty or the regular I am only able to eat half. The shop is small with one table for four, some out door high-tops (in warmer weather) and a window counter with seating for about 3. Small in size but with a staff that is big on personality and supper friendly and the food is definitely worth it, even if you take it to go. Thank you to Sharon, Paul, John & Harold. As well as Yelp Hudson Valley for putting Crotty's in my rotation. Just A Note: - My other 1/2 re-heats well in the toaster oven. -They are open Late and they Deliver far (their words not mine). Friday & Saturdays they are open until midnight. Great for a late night indulgence.

After following this place on social media I finally got the chance to try this place out. I’ve had a bunch of cheesesteaks from philly as well and this cheesesteak took me back to philly, it was definitely one of my top cheesesteaks in Ny. Great quality and flavor of the meat and the cheese wiz was amazing and the cheesesteak egg rolls were to die for ! I can’t wait to come back and indulge on this food again for an authentic cheesesteak!

Thanks Marietta and the Yelp Hudson Valley Instagram account for posting about Crotty’s! We stopped by one afternoon for lunch and tried this hole in the wall! There is not much seating at this place (2 tables with some chairs and a few high tops at the windows). The tables were occupied when we got there. The girl at the front was nice and we got our food about 10 minutes after ordering. It was pretty cold in there (even the girl at the front complained to us about it) and it was SO quiet. I was so uncomfortable standing beside the people who were there just listening to them chew 🤢! Because it’s so small/semi full we decided to take our food home. By the time we got there stuff was soggy. Not the restaurants fault, but I would have liked to eat there. We got the traditional cheesesteak with caramelized onions and whiz and it was so good!! I would have liked to have a little more whiz on my sandwich or have it more dispersed throughout it instead of just on the bottom. You get a ton of food for the price and the bun was great! We also had the fries (would have been better to eat there) and a small Mac n cheese which were also good! I’d definitely go back to try something else and hopefully sit there. Oh! And when we were getting ready to leave a guy wearing a first responder jacket came in and she said he got 10% off for his service so that’s nice! They also have a code for 10% off on Tuesday’s because they are closed on Monday’s. There is also a 4% charge if you use credit cards so bring cash for a cheaper meal!

Heard so much about this place from friends and family so I had to give this place a try... And this place was absolutely amazing ...The Philly steaks are so far the best I have ever had and this is coming from a guy who's had them all over new york and the world..I highly recommend getting the Traditional and The New Yorker they were cooked to perfection and tasted out of this world...And the cheesecake bites was a great sweet treat to end the meal and my cheat day I definitely will be back to try the other ones..

My husband picked up a sandwich for us so I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere but wow the sandwich is sooo good. We got “the alpha” and it is so incredibly tasty, moist, flavorful and fully loaded. The sandwiches are huge/shareable. I will definitely be adding this place to my lunch rotation.

Had went to the new Rochelle location and the staff was an absolute gem! Everyone very sweet along with the food being spectacular!! Recently went to the play land boardwalk where they have been which is closer to home and has been yet again amazing!! Paul is out of this world!! Amazing funny guy! Thank you so much for having not just delicious food but also having absolutely terrific people working and loving what they do! Couldn’t ask for better!

Ordered delivery from White Plains Ghost Kitchen. Caprese cheesesteak was delicious. My son tried The Irishman, equally good. French fries were well seasoned. They had gotten a little soft during delivery but were still tasty. I wish there was a way to keep foods crisp in transport. Next time will have air fryer ready to crisp them up a bit - and there will be a next time!

The cheesesteaks hands down the best, my complaint is the sides. The sides are good too, I had the onion rings. But if I am paying $8.00 dollars for onion rings I expect more than eight onion rings, I paid $1.00 per onion ring. Please improve on that area and then I would give six stars!

I have been here multiple times and it never ceases to be amazing. I have had multiple different cheesesteaks and other food as well but for sure the cheesesteaks are amazing. I suggest the Alpha Wolf as it is so good if you like a bit of spice and provolone. Making your own chew steaks are also great! The people who work there are very kind and all together I would rate this a 6 star rating not 5 stars.
