We
had
lunch
here
on
a
Monday
afternoon.
It's
right
on
space,
like
a
European
cafe,
but
the
food
and
drinks
are
good.
I
had
a
Madame
Freda,
a
take
on
the
common
french
Croque
Madame,
but
made
with
duck.
It
was
fantastic,
and
was
served
with
a
salad
or
fries
(I
chose
fries,
which
were
very
good).
My
son
had
a
BLT
made
with
duck
bacon,
which
he
also
liked
very
much
(though
he
preferred
my
dish).
My
wife
chose
the
Mediterranean
Breakfast,
which
includes
poached
eggs,
avocado,
and
a
light
yogurt.
She
was
pleased,
just
as
she
was
with
her
Cantaloupe
Mimosa.
It's
not
cheap,
but
not
overly
expensive
by
NYC
standards.
The
staff
was
attentive,
though
there
was
a
mistake
on
our
bill
that
was
likely
due
to
a
switch
to
a
new
waiter
after
ordering.
It
was
corrected,
of
course.
I'd
surely
go
again,
though
I'd
probably
shoot
for
a
less
crowded
time
of
day
than
noon.
