Great Museum! The family had a great time learning the history of the ship. Took about three hours to explore the ship itself. The wait time for the submarine looked quite long, so we didn't stand in line. If you buy scheduled tickets, they will let you in 30min before ticketed time. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Security did a great job keeping kids from touching "No Touch" exhibits and also from running around the Museum. Riding the New York Waterway Ferry made great views of the ship as well!

This was one of the best highlights of our trip. If your into Boats, Planes and the Space Shuttle don't miss out. Best to get an early ticket it's not si busy then.

We sure enjoyed it. Our grandson loves helicopters and there were a couple great ones. It's an excellent museum and thought provoking. We were shocked by the size of the Enterprise space shuttle. The elevator broke while we were there which was awful for baby strollers and wheel chair ♿️ folks. Maybe they need another elevator.

This museum is an encompassing look at life on a carrier - the technology of the times, tactics, everyday life, and more! You get an up-close look at the different parts of the ship, including living quarters, the galley, of course the hanger aircraft, etc. We appreciated the chronicling of the social and racial aspects that had to be navigated through the ship's service time as well. You can easily spend several hours across the four decks, learning about both the armed forces and the individuals who served.

Really cool WW2 aircraft carrier with many historical planes. Like SR-71 Blackbird (Worlds fastest plane) and the mig-21, personally my favourite of all the planes. There is also a space shuttle exhibition on the deck. One of my favourite things about the museum is the growler submarine which is a part of the intrepid museum so you don't have to pay extra. The only bad thing about the submarine is the wait.

There were so many fun activities at the USS Intrepid. You can enter the USS Intrepid, learn about its history, and view some planes on its top deck. Alongside it is the USS Growler, a submarine used to launch nuclear missiles, also open to the public, as well as the Space Shuttle Enterprise. There are many more activities like the 3D cinema, 4D experience, and VR experience. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in ships and submarines.

Very cool exhibit of airplane, helicopters, and Korea. The coolest part to me was being able to get right up next to the Space Shuttle

Great historical place to visit. The staff are polite and very knowledgeable. The museum is large and the collection of air and space is impressive.

An amazing historical monument. Intelligently laid out as a museum and a memorial to her complement through the years. Enough interactivity to keep young 'uns from boredom.

An absolutely massive spectacle of machinery that delivers on the basis of what a human mind and engineering are capable of producing. It holds pieces of militaristic American history throughout the 20th century alongside a great exhibition regarding NASA and space with a (once operational) space shuttle.
