Took my daughter for a tanning session for her upcoming Prom. There was only one girl working and she didn't seem well trained to be left unsupervised. This was the first time tanning for my daughter so it was unclear exactly what she was supposed to do, my daughter had to call me in the room to ask me questions. I had to try and get this lady to assist us. She never gave my daughter eye protectors or explained what to do once the timer began. She told me she would reset the timer so my daughter could tan. After waiting for quite some time. She tells me she can't reset it and we would need to return the next day. I said we needed to get this done today or refund me my money. She quickly called her manager and the manager explained I couldn't be in the room with my daughter. I had to explain to her the only reason I was in there was because my daughter wasn't sure what to do. The worker became defensive stating I explained everything to your daughter. I told her you never even gave her any eye protectors. The machine was reset and my daughter got her tan because they didn't want to refund me my money. Overall, the staff on hand needs to be better trained to deal with the influx of people coming in for tanning services. This worker was trying to check everyone in at once and was overwhelmed by the tasks. I'm sure this business will continue to thrive but I won't be returning.

I used to love this place, they had the best staff. In particular a lovely girl called Gina who was always so helpful and friendly. I heard they let her go for wanting a break which I guess they don’t give their staff as I had seen her eating lunch at the counter before. Why do people do this? Allow really friendly and helpful staff to be treated so badly. Anyway their loss. I’m sure she will be great somewhere else and I will find a different tanning salon as this one is f so friendly any more and the cleanliness has gone down hill.

So had to change my review I have not been there 3 months I changed cards they had on file they called me to tell me my payment didn't go threw I told the lady I have not been able to get there I would like to just cancel for now. She tells I me she can not do that I need to come down and do it in person I have been 80 dollars a month and I don't have the time to go use it but you expect me to come down there pay you and cancel no common since at all. Pretty told me if I don't go and cancel they will send me to collection and charge me until I go there and cancel. Great way to loose people cause you have this review and people I will be sharing this experience with. A little understanding would have kept me as a customer.

I don’t write reviews much but need to send a HUGE shout out to Natalia who’s probably the absolute BEST employee I have met in a longgg time! She’s so patient, knowledgeable and honest about services at this location. I bought a package plus additional items because of her! Don’t walk, run to this salon because the staff is great - especially Natalia!

They didn’t give me eyes protection. They didn’t tell me I should cover my birthmarks and nipples. They don’t accept cash for a ridiculous reason. I don’t wanna repeat this experience

As a hardcore outdoor tanner (I'm a literal "beach bum") it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to tanning salons, but I can honestly say I was impressed with Beach Bum! The facility was clean and easy to get to, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the equipment was state of the art. I was especially impressed by the P9 Diamond level hybrid sunbed, which emits both UVA AND UVB rays (for more natural, outdoor looking colour, as well as boosting vitamin D, serotonin and dopamine levels) and which also emits red light, which helps you absorb more UV light as well as being therapeutic in its own right. The P9 was just what I needed to lift my spirits on a cold, grey, snowy, slushy, bleak, gloomy, dreary late winter day! I very highly recommend this business!

I had a great experience here. The staff was very polite and acted very professional. I think an employee named Frankie helped me one of the times I was there and he made my experience that much better!! Go to Beach Bum
