So much good can be said about this classic New York pizza shop. Joe's is a spot where your slice (or pie) is exactly as good as the last time, and the time before that, every time. The restaurant is located in the heart of Greenwich Village, so you can expect a lively and fun atmosphere every time you stop by. As there is limited seating, if the weather is nice, grab your pizza and head over to nearby Washington Square Park and take in the iconic views served up by Mother Nature while you enjoy the greatness of Joe's. As an added bonus and If you're lucky, you just might run into a local NYC celebrity. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of meeting both Matt Damon and Adrien Brody! Super nice guys who enjoy a classic New York pizza. Very cool and without a massive entourage. *Joe's is cash only- don't forget to bring cash or there will be no pizza for you!

Good New york pizza ! No seating area, only the standing table are available and they have only 2 tables in front of the shop and one counter inside. Fresh made pizza all the time. You can wait for the new one come out from the oven and get your pizza. Not expensive and taste good. Really enjoy to stop by for NYC pizza. They have other location you can try.

Joe's Pizza in Manhattan is an absolute slice of heaven! The moment you sink your teeth into their pizza, you're transported to a world of exquisite flavors and authenticity. The crust? Perfection. Crispy yet chewy, it's the ideal foundation for the flavorful toppings that burst with freshness. The sauce-to-cheese ratio? Spot on. Each bite is a symphony of taste that resonates with anyone craving a true New York-style pizza experience. Joe's Pizza is an iconic establishment that sets the bar high for pizza aficionados everywhere. While there might not be parking or ample seating, the hustle and bustle adds to its authenticity. It’s a testament to its popularity, where folks line up eagerly for a slice of that renowned pizza. It’s a small sacrifice for the big reward of savoring some of the best pizza the city has to offer.

We ate here on our first trip to New York. We were just trying to get out of the rain and thought we would try them out. The pizza was delicious! Loved the famous people photos who had ate there on the wall. I would recommend this to anyone visiting New York. This location is close to One World Trade.

I'm not sophisticated enough to explain why it was better than similar pizzas, but it was. It just had the right amount of bite and crispness on the crust and flavors were just right. I only tried the basics, cheese and pepperoni but they were good. The price was fine, service was fast, they only took cash but there's an ATM. Would I walk miles to have this pizza if I lived in New York? Probably not. There are pizza places everywhere and unless you are going to the dollar slice places the pizza will be decent. However, it would be my preferred slice if convenient.

Finally got to try New York Style pizza at this popular joint that many celebs have visited and it was definitely worth the visit. There was a lineup out the door which I've heard is usual. The pizzas were coming in fresh and hot every few minutes as slices flew off the pan with the sheer crowd! We tried the cheese slices and the fresh mozzarella slice. Both were hot and delicious. Keep in mind this place only takes cash! There is an ATM outside but charges a hefty fee so come prepared!

A cash only place that serves both slices and pizza. There’s an ATM right outside the restaurant. Too busy but the service was quick. Loved the mozzarella pizza slice. A thin crust pizza with fresh mozzarella and yummy marinara.

Best pizza in NYC by far. They actually open at 11 though. I went there at 10:20 on my last day in NYC, I would’ve just left for home early in the Kenny but I wanted a pie for the ride home. They wouldn’t start making pizza till 11. But it’s so good I waited the 40min.
