Perfect game-watching experience either solo or with a massive party. The owner was more than willing to accommodate our request to watch a college basketball game during a Man U game. Food was great and service was even better!

Great atmosphere to watch Soccer games at, clearly a Manchester United bar. Love the energy and atmosphere. They have a seamless mobile ordering system. Easy to order and pay, all through the app. Food is standard pub food, still delicious. Drinks, only ever got beers here.

All ok. But not really the best wings i had so far. Small plates. The staff was friendly and we got out drinks and food as ordered and pretty fast. Several different tv screens show a variety of different sports. There are tables on the in and outside.

first of all, you need to order through an app (union). I do not like that, but thats‘s just personal. we‘ve orderer 2 classic burgers and a quesadilla. the burger does not come with a sauce - big no no for me. I‘ve ordered some mayo, it came after 10-15mins - way to much time. my burger was almost cold. food was good but the experience not so.

It’s a nice huge sports bar! Came here to watch the opening of football season and wasn’t disappointed. Huge selection of draft beers 🍻 Big food many but food is just okay Chicken wings not Buffalo wings Classic burger with cheese was good and French fries is delicious 🤤 For the burger - onions were missing Great service Plenty of space Draft beers was served in not chilled glass I guess because of a lot of clients. But the most upsetting situation- not really a nice neighborhood- so many drug addictive people was outside , just be careful after you leave this place

Really good and fresh tasting cheeseburgers with fresh hand cut fries (included) and a brioche bun which we had nicely toasted. Also nice, crunchy and tasty thin cut sweet potatoe fries. Great atmosphere to watch sports, host events and great outdoor seating where sports can be watched as well on numerous TVs facing the windows in the front of the restaurant. Really nice, friendly and on point service too. Overall A+ place and definitely recommended 👌

Great food and great service. I usually go during premier league season and it’s always a good time. Can’t go wrong with Irish breakfast or the wings.

If you aren’t a drinker who just wants to watch the game this isn’t the place for you. I went for a 10am game and was aware of minimum spend and fine with it. Paid $40 plus tax per person for 4 tickets at the door but those tickets can’t be used for food, only drinks (not even coffee). I feel like this is a scam unless you are up for alcohol at 10am.

Outstanding, multi-room pub with great food, and a great atmosphere. If you're a fan of English socc--sorry, football... then oh boy are you in for a good time here (or at least you'll have ample support to commiserate with).

I was meeting friends at this place and I’m sober, which means I don’t drink for serious reasons and there was no table to eat at so I stood and so they told me I had to leave cause I didn’t want to order a drink while I stood and waited for my group, then when I asked why they said they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone they chose like I was in the south in 1950s, and also doesn’t make sense cause I didn’t want anything so that just means they can kick out who ever they want for whatever reason they want, scary business practices. Never going back. Sad people get greedy when we are just trying to watch the beautiful game. I think FIFA is part owner of the bar lmao Called BBB and they said they will be following up about these Practices

Really cool sportsbar in the heart of NYC. It’s an incredible experience going into a crowded bar at 9:30 in the morning. The bartender is very polite and since there are a lot of TVs around it’s easy to support your favorite soccer team (FC Köln) even in NYC!

Am I crazy to say I'm giving them 5 stars just for the way you order here? Loved it so much!! The service was easy and quick and the food was crazy good. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce they coated them with I need me a gallon for all future wings. The pretzel was good but the cheese was a little too floury but the side of spicy mustard made up for it. Definitely come here if you want to enjoy a game of Football or Soccer as we call it.

My go to spot to watch soccer in New York. Atmosphere is always great. Food is good. Drinks reasonable priced. For big games I’d recommend to be at the bar at least 2h before or make a reservation. Lines can get pretty long.

Great place overall, with multiple screens for watching sports. We tried the philly steak and fish and chips, and both were tasty.

Awesome pub to watch United. 4 stars because last weekend when United were playing City, I approached the corner of the bar (near the point of sale system) to ask if the fries on the counter were mine and watched as a waitress took a handful of fries (before I asked her if they were mine), closed them in her fist and then confirmed with the bartender that this order of fries was for me.

Unfortunately very noisy space and no table service. Even refill’s (which are chargeable) have to be ordered online which- while the bartender sits doing nothing!

Incredibly rude (and definitely not sober) bartenders, football games don’t fit the TVs, staff will literally throw middle fingers at patrons. Food is good and so is the TV set up for sports. Shame the service is so incredibly offensive.

Just walking by hungry and decided to stop in for a quick bite. Loved it, we had the burger and a Phillychesse steak with fries. Amazing food, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. Great Atmosphere, stayed had wine, watched a spicer game. Will absolutely be back. Highly recommend it.

It was my favorite place before the pandemic, now I feel that magic has been lost, the joy and euphoria of people watching the UFC, I went back to New York and wanted to come and drink beers and enjoy the fights that I remembered so fondly, now that magic that I remember has been lost since they don't put up the UFC fights because for some reason they don't pay the PPV... I hope they go back to what they were before please😔, blessings.

Yes, this place is amazing.. food is amazing as well as the drinks. However, what really makes this place special is the atmosphere and the workers they have staffed. They are exceptional workers who go above and beyond to meet any needs required. The hostess, Calli, was the nicest and most attentive staff member I’ve ever encountered. Definitely coming back again!!!!

Solid sports bar. Really good burger and fries, nice selection of beers. Service is fast and correct, you order through the app so waiters don’t say much (and if you’re inside they can’t anyway because it’s always pretty loud with bros cheering and shouting at the football/hockey game). Overall good place for a beer and a bite of you sit outside or don’t mind the loud cheering (or indeed want to do some of it yourself)

Great atmosphere and even better service. We visited during our stay at Christmas in NYC and were looking for a lively pub to watch Premier League football. Kevin was absolutely brilliant! He was very welcoming, chatty and a fantastic host. We were blown away by the warm service and felt very much at home as if we were back in the UK. There are plenty of screens and a lot of space to enjoy various games. Overall, a great crowd and friendly environment. We would highly recommend Smithfield Hall for a social or quiet drink. We will definitely be returning in future!

This is a really great sports bar! There are tons of TVs and the staff is very accommodating about changing the channel so that your preferred game is in your sight line. The food is really good, and there are enough healthy options to keep me happy. (I'm lo-carb and gluten free). My favorite is the chopped salad with grilled shrimp. Yum yum! There are plenty of other less healthy classic sports bar food options that all look great. I've also had the pulled pork, which they are happy to do as a lettuce wrap for me. The cocktails are generous and well priced, and the staff is attentive and congenial. I will keep coming back!

I do enjoy the atmosphere at Smithfield Hall. I have come into the city on a number of occasions to catch a Man United game here and it is always fun (once you learn how to time your entrance!) My advice is to arrive at LEAST 45 minutes before the game you intend to see if you want to secure a table and order some food. The tabbed out app is a nice feature, but as others have pointed out, their kitchen does run slow - ordering food before kickoff of a Premiere League game, expect to see your food somewhere around halftime. This is not necessarily a bad thing! -- especially if you're taking up a table for the duration of a game. Just be aware of the wait involved with food - drinks do come much more quickly. Food quality is generally quite good - not always perfect, but I have never regretted coming here because of it.

The location is ok but the food was not soo tasty. I had the wings and sweet potato fries but i would not recommend this order. Fries tasted a bit like old oil. Wings were inside warm and outside cold. Music was nice tho.

Amazing bar staff, TVs, 90s alternative music and good vibes! Great place to catch the game with friends.

Smithfield Hall new York city. Every time I'm visiting from Texas, it's a must to stop by. This is one of the bars that the new York city reds hang out for Manchester united game days. Boy they are a fun crowd. Chanting, and screaming at the telly. As a Dallas red member, I fully understand it and encourage it every match day. The food here is to die for. I usually load up on the mimosa's, because you got to start the day off with a bit of orange juice. The staff is inviting and always ready for match day. The owners are great people, if I'm not mistaken they have hands in other businesses across the new York city region. The business does hold other supporter groups from other leagues, and sports. So, I'm sure whom ever you support, Smithfield Hall new York city will have what you are looking for. So for all the Manchester united supporters in the area. If you don't have a spot to watch game day, you do now. Get there, tip your wait staff and Up The Reds. Thanks for the hospitality. I will return.

A quality local bar and grill. The food came quickly, the beer was pleasing, and the atmosphere provided all that was needed for sports watching.

I decided to come here on a Saturday night with friends after getting food at Jue Lan nearby. A tiny man approached us to tell us that he didn't have space for 3...but then went on to welcome various others who were walked in after us. We felt discriminated against and would not recommend this place to anyone. We ended up going to The Mean Fiddler and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!! 10/10 recommend. We got to watch the Knicks vs Lakers game and the atmosphere was incredible!! This place, not so much. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

September 11, 2021. Cristiano’s second debut for MUTD. What an atmosphere! I arrived 30 minutes before the match and the queue was forming a line almost to the next block. There were monitors outside with outside seating. Easy to order and the orders came promptly even though they were busy. Typical bar food but I was there to watch the match so my expectations were met. It's one of the best pubs I've been to.

Great service, great owners, outdoor dining available , vegan beyond burger options (and vegan cheese), basic side salad can be jazzed up a little more. I highly recommend.
