The food is okay and the drinks could be better. It's a strange setup and the atmosphere leaves something to be desired.

This is the worst TGIF in America. I actually had to get up and get a waitress. My wife had to get up and get a menu because no one approached us. We had to wait 30 minutes for our dinner and the restaurant was not busy at all and when we got the food it was cold and an Overcooked and burned. We bought it to the attention of the manager and all he said was we are trying our best he didn't even apologize.

The store isn't exactly the most presentable. The waiting time for the food was ok, but the price-performance ratio could be better. But the taste was great. However, you get the feeling that you have to walk quickly again.

We visited this NYC location, while spending the day in NYC. There was a conveniently located parking garage(across the street), that was reasonably priced. The restaurant needed a good cleaning. We had a wonderful waitress from Donegal, Ireland. She was working here for the summer. We had 14 people in our party, but split into 2 checks. No exaggeration, we had to send every one of our entrees back to the kitchen. Every one of them! The worst of our meals was a chicken strip meal. The chicken hadn't even been cooked! It was iced cold to the touch! Everything from the chicken strips to steak and pasta to steak. It was ALL undercooked and cold. The kitchen manager saw that everything went back and returned to the table with our new food, but we found him impatient and unpleasant. We expected unusually high prices, because we were in NYC. That is exactly what we found. The restaurant manager "did us a favor" and gave us a 15% discount on each bill. Pitiful. I did stress and continue to stress, we had a wonderful waitress. She was not responsible for what transpired, but did everything she could, to help us.

The original style for steak, near the Wall Street. Different experience for your life. If you have chance to visit there ,it is your best choice.

Had a very nice time at this location. Staff was friendly. Also listened to health/diet concerns. Offered alternatives to accommodate too. Waoter, Mathew, was helpful and cheerful. We were seated fairly quickly and served just as quick. Drinks tasted watered down, but after discussing with our waiter, were quickly remedied. A positive experience overall. I would recommend.

The service here is extremely slow and by the time you get your food it is cold. When I confronted to Server about it he was rude. Definitely do not suggest going here

First, I have been to this chain restaurant in other states, but definitely this one is the slowest! It took them a whiiiiiiiile to bring our order! Second, the server was kinda rude, when we asked to cut the sandwich in half! Third, the dish should be served with their signature sauce, but they didn’t bring it with the order and we had to ask for it! And last but not least, the mashed potato was not fresh!

Extremely unhappy staff. Huge wait time on food. Took about an hour from when it was ordered. Draft beer was flat and paid a high price for it. No WI-FI for paying customers. Will avoid franchise restaurants simular to this in New York after this bad experience.

Service is slow, but we only had soft drinks so we had a good amount of refill. Food is very good. Recommended if you're having good time

It was ok, ive not been a fan of TGIF in Utah. I think they closed their Utah locations. But I might be wrong. However I thought maybe in New York they might up their game. I was wrong, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Simple enough, I got an overpriced dry cheese burger. That was probably my last visit to TGIF.

Had family in town and while I'm usually reluctant to visit chain establishments they insisted as we had walked all day and needed some good grub. What a mistake we made. We were a party of 12 and received our food at very sperate times. Both my sister-in-law and I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich based on the description and image provided. When we specified the seasoned fries, we were told they were only regular fries, FALSE ADVERTISING, I then requested to switch to Sweet Potato fries. When we received our dishes, our sandwiches could not be further from the description. The cheese was thinly melted, barely could taste it, we had to request extra spicy mayo, as we could barley find any in our sandwiches. I didn't get the sweet potato fries with my order, when I asked for them I was told the kitchen didn't want to do it, but my server would...? I got them 5mins later. The kids (3) all requested fruit cups, seconds before food came out they told us there were none and could substitute fries. Not an ideal exchange, we took it as we had no other choices. My brother's food never arrived, upon reminding her, she might've never put it in, he wanted the bacon, egg tacos, minutes later, they updated us that they had no more tacos. He never got a dish. Throughout the experience we were told the kitchen was short staffed, and there were "issues", on a holiday weekend, in a tourist heavy area. I work in the industry and no one seemed to have the urgency or concern to provide true hospitality. My initial reluctancy was verified, and while my personal preference is not that of Friday's, I'd at the very least would expect some sort of bare minimum level of quality service and hospitality. Needless to say the rest of my family now carries the feeling and thoughts I did, and Friday's did it to themselves. Consistency is key with a brand name, and this venue, in my opinion doesn't hold up to it. Just wanted to share my experience as I was very upset for what my family had experienced during their visit to this specific Friday's.
