This is a really great dive bar, good pours and good conversation. The staff and patrons are all very friendly people, we had a really good time. This is a super fun place to have a cool beverage and spend a little time. It reminds me a lot of the dive bars in New Orleans. The bar tender even bought me a drink!

I don’t know what to say, this bar has always been a favorite for me but I will not be returning. I have been sober for 5 years now and have always been made to feel welcome even though I am ordering a soda. The bar has a TV in the back so I came with my coworkers to celebrate our company being on the today show (since we don’t have TVs). I went up to the bar and tried to order three diet cokes, and the man scoffed at us and said “what you think you can come just hang out at a bar and not get a drink?” He then proceeded to not serve us at all. We were feeling uncomfortable and went to the back room to decide what to do, he then announces to the rest of the men at the bar, “lets get them out of here” and turns on loud rock music. He then yelled across the bar, “What ladies? No drink” and all the men laughed along with him. We felt extremely unsafe as a group of women and left immediately.

I love the vibe here. Very friendly neighborhood bar! But, something just happened here which was surprising for me. I asked zero proof beer and the bartender said they don’t carry anything zero I asked why; The bartender tapped my arm, looked down me and said “because they are for babies, that’s why!!!” Awful!! Esp. for sober community. But still I like this place. I hope they carry some NA beers soon.

Solid no-frills/dive bar spot in the heart of Nolita. It can get packed, but it's a solid spot to grab some beers and start the night with. Also easy to meet people there bc it's so small, and you naturally bump into other big groups. They have a big shark on the wall behind the bar so we call it 'Shark Bar'

Me: a bottle of Stella pls Barmaid: big sigh, gets me a beer. 10 min later Me: Templeton Manhattan on the rocks pls (I like to order manhattans in Manhattan even in shot n a beer joints, besides they had the ingredients. Not like I’m asking for an ice cream drink ) Barmaid: bigger sigh, plus a big eye roll, made the drink Yeah San Gennaro was going on outside but the bar wasn’t busy, believe me. Potential to be a good bar to be in but the miserable person behind the bar took that experience from me. I don’t need service w a smile lady just less attitude. Yes I still tipped

There is no food here to my knowledge. It is a classic almost dive type bar where you really just order beer and maybe you could try the wine but wouldn’t recommend it. It’s always busy in the crowd is always fun always somebody to talk to you and meet.depending on the night it might be really packed. Otherwise it always has a good crowd though so even if it’s quiet, it’s a good crowd somewhere you should check out in the area.

terrible service! I went to have some beers, they treated me very poorly, there is a huge line to get in and after ordering my beer the person says that I can pay with a card if I pay for two beers in a row, they should inform me about this before ordering the beer, Terrible and horrible service and horrible treatment! I don't know how there can be people who go to this club with that deal. It is not a nightclub and you have to queue as if it were a nightclub. Terrible service and treatment by the staff. The only good service that stands out is the security that is there on Fridays. The rest is terrible service and the lady who is there and the man and a Mexican who thinks he is American! lousy! total service and I say again they should have their rules written and say that if you pay by card you must pay for two beers in a row and especially for FOREIGNERS! I do not recommend it

Everyone there was in their 20s mostly and completely unaware of their surroundings. Clearly not the local nyc crowd because New Yorkers don’t congregate directly inside the bar blocking the front door. I prefer a crowd that’s been to the bar before…

The bartender greeted within a reasonable amount of time even though he was super busy. The drink was delicious and the cherries were extraordinary! The next time I need a pop before heading off to the drudgery of regular life this place is high on the list!!

Classic dive bar with loads of drinks and both indoor & outdoor seating. We had one of the outdoor tables under cover and sat drinking as the rain fell above. The outdoor tables look back at the bar and all the various neons and shark artwork. Great spot, check it out.

A nice dive bar in a way too trendy area. It lifts up the block where every other joint is a concept store. Cool bartenders, fake sharks, a great mixture of people. Personally, I never found the "lounge".

Fantastic bar for an afternoon beer. Beautiful old wood furnishings and big windows on a corner spot so you can people watch. Yet, the bar isn't bright, it has exactly the right lighting for a cozy drink.

This place was a jem to find as we walked the streets like tourists do. It was a perfect corner hide away to catch some fresh air, a good drink and nice company before you have to leave to go back to normal

This place a a cute hole in the wall. They have good music. I came on the night of my birthday and got a shot on the house of Smokey tequila. We ended up getting a few rounds and staying a bit. I will be back the next time I’m in New York. Kudos to the bartender for kicking off my nights

OMG Dave and Natalie each need their own show. I was stuck in the area getting my scooter repaired after doing my covid test for set. And I could not imagine being stuck anyplace else. Dave and his timing is #Comedic perfect with a little pinch of David Cross sarcasm. #Natalie reminds me of a white #JackieHarris no minced words and her facial expressions says it all. 1) Now the place does not serve food, but who needs food when you have professional entertainment behind the bar. The bar itself is not really sports bar due to the lack of TVs but check note 1). I hate waiting and had a 3 hour wait but this is one of the few bars I'd go back to. I really hope Dave and Natalie have their dreams come true because you can't teach personality and they are #Stars ⭐ . Not gonna lie I feel like you have to be union to enter, because everyone was funny and it a competition to be the funniest. Just like on #Set . Most fun I had all year 💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️♨️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

If you like dive bars for what they usually have to offer — a chill crowd and cheap drinks, this is not it… overrun with college age kids and there’s always a huge line on the weekends. Feels like walking into a frat house in AL (no offense).

Love me a good dive like bar - this is still pretty new york. I wouldn’t say they have good music but they do have decent prices, the bartenders are usually very nice, and a great space. You can have a chiller vibe in the day before 6 or after 7/8 get a nice crowd of mixed ages. I wouldnt say its a date spot but it is a casual spot. A great place to start or end a night. We had two beers and a couple of shots. Very reasonable.

No food but If they had I am sure it would be amazing Update. I have been coming here for 2 years the server threw my drink away at the bar and said sorry you was not looking. She knows me and still said I should be paying attention. They want from 5 stars if to 1 because she did not want to server paying business customers that is in file or on file. Terrible service

a fun local bar offering great selections of craft beers if that's what you're into. pretty nice to sit in the booths and just chill out on a rainy weekend day.

a great charging station!! great vibes, the bartender was quite rude but i’ll just assume it’s because he had a very bad day and wanted to take it out on us :) otherwise a quite decent spot

Great & Lively spot in the Nolita district. Bartenders are ON it and don't waste time getting your drink going. Place is usually crowded but that's for a good reason! Highly recommend.

My friend gave them their ID to check, they took it (even though it’s real) got in our friend’s faces, called us insults, and escalated the situation. Only to find out the ID is real, and the cops had to come. Do better and hire bouncers that are at least respectful.

Cool spot. Especially if you’re a day drinker. I’ll be back for sure. Try and go before 2 and they give you essentially a frequent day drinker card.

Loved the atmosphere at this place. Stayed here for a solid night of drinking. Would be good for this place to have a beer on the menu at 5$ or less, couldn’t find it. Staff is absolutely super friendly and very helpful.

Dunno why it's nicknamed Shark Bar, more like Moose Bar.

Fine dive bar. Good energy. Visit colored by one of the other patrons passing out dead drunk and being ambulances from the premises.

Cool place if you're into dive bars. Very old building with lots of character. Stopped in for a quick drink and really dug the vibe.

I tired the Brooklyn Golden beer there. Good choice. I only stayed there for one hour on a Friday afternoon but looks like it gets better later at night.

This bar is awesome and has a great vibe of people just chilling and drinking. No drama!! And there is a great pizza place across the street that sells slices and you can bring them back to spring lounge. Can't wait to back next time I'm in NYC!!

I recently visited Spring Lounge with a group of colleagues , and I have to say, the vibes were absolutely amazing. The bartenders were awesome, and the atmosphere was perfect for just chilling out and having a drink. We loved everything about the place, from the cozy seating to the fantastic drink selection. The fact that the place accommodated all 17 of us was an added bonus, and made for an even more enjoyable experience. I can definitely say that I'll be visiting Spring Lounge again in the future. If you're looking for a great spot to unwind and have a drink with friends, I highly recommend checking out Spring Lounge

After trying to get in on a packed Saturday night, we finally made it on a Monday late morning. It was peaceful and clean which was nice, but we felt the prices were outrageous, even for NY. $30 for a simple bloody Mary, a mid range tequila shot and a 12oz can of Miller High Life.

  • 4/5 Pedro Sorto I. 2 years ago on Google
Classic dive bar vibe with soho prices. They have a decent range of beers in can, bottle, and draft. Easy spot to meet up after work or before a show.

A dive bar that isn’t really a dive bar, very popular among the tourist crowd during the day, becomes a little younger/bro-y on Friday and Saturday late nights. They open every day at 8am; life’s short, drink early!

Perfect dive bar for beers on tap and a laid back ambiance. According to my friend the Pinot grigio isn't bad either. I'll stick with the $6 PBR it's more budget friendly!

Great pub in the Little Italy area, pretty crowded at night but usually fast on serving. There is some interesting beer selection and a lot of place to sit.

Chill spot, old school atmosphere and easy going. Lightning fast bartenders and upbeat crowd with good music. We didn’t know what to expect and found a lively spot on a Sunday afternoon.

Ha. So this place is dive bar to the max. An epic hangout spot for all crowds to the wee hours of the morning. Drinks are great till they start to water them down on you(don't think I didn't notice). Prime location for prime traffic and a nice late night hangout spot.
