Large portions; plenty to eat. Really nice and timely service! Salads & Matzoh Ball soup were good although limited vegetarian options. The desserts were very fun and the NYC Cake Shake was had a phenomenal presentation! Strawberry milkshake was fresh. The cheesecake was very rich although the crust was a little cakey. Black and white cookie was too thick.

Walked out from our hotel one evening just to buy some take out cheesecake as it had looked so good walking past. The cheesecake slices were large and definitely shareable. Both varieties we tried were delicious = cherry and apple. Mine (the apple) was a little frosty so either not quite defrosted or their chillers were running cold. Service was friendly and quick. We would have considered Junior's for a sit down meal during our visit, but from the published menu pretty much the only vegetarian option was grilled cheese.

Dang this place gives you so much food. If you're hungry then order your own but if you aren't too hungry or don't eat as much. I definitely suggest sharing with someone because it is huge. You get your money's worth with these portions. We all enjoyed our meal and it was super flavorful. I suggest definitely getting a cheesecake because that's what they are known for. It was absolutely delicious!!!

Juniors made my birthday night special. I had a polite, nice, and attentive waiter. The staff sang happy birthday for me which was so sweet and special to me. The food and drinks were good. It was late, busy, and packed but worth every bit of the experience eating there. It was my first time having dinner there and it will not be my last. I had the coconut lemon cake, it was so delicious. In my opinion, they make the best cakes, especially cheesecakes. I love their franchise. Lovely birthday dinner!

You know you have to get dessert after a Broadway show and Juniors hit the spot. Great location in Time Square and great vibe. Our server was so delightful and brightened our night with her smile and attitude! The cheesecake was delicious and easily served 2 people. I would love to go back and try another piece of cheesecake:)

The original spot for authentic New York cheesecake. This cheesecake is famous for a reason: it’s thick, creamy, decadent and you can’t stop going back for more. The slices are huge and definitely can be shared. One interesting thing here is that the base is a sponge cake, not a biscuit base. The flavour could have been slightly more tangy (less sweet) to my taste. They’ve got lots of different flavours too. Overall, a solid cheesecake, and definitely the go-to spot in NYC.

As soon as you walk in this restaurant gives you an overwhelming feeling of happiness. From the decor and colors to the happy servers and desserts the environment just exudes fun! The food was okay and not to take away from anyone else's experience but the cheese cake was blah.. Not creamy just kind of sterile tasting.. but the prices were VERY reasonable for NYC..

Oh My God! It was one of the most delightful experiences for us to step in here. We came back a total of 3 times, both for breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is wonderful, a true taste of America. The dishes are monumental in size, and simply WOW. Special thanks to the servers who perfected our experience.

First time! Old time "feel" to this place. Very popular and really good food. Waiter was nice, food was delicious 😋. Definitely would visit again. Cheesecake was good. I got the cherry cheesecake. They had lots of desert options as well as a variety of menu options. Definitely a place to take your family. I've always seen their cheesecake in Walmart but never realized this was an actual food spot. Definitely visit when your in the Manhattan area.👍🏿

This place is a classic for a reason. Great place to stop before seeing a show. The staff here is great. Special shout out to Sergio at the bar for being fantastic! The portions are huge, so be aware if you’re hoping to try some of their famous cheesecake. Their drinks are great too. They are right in the middle of some of the biggest theaters, so they are super skilled at handling pre-show crowds and can get you in and out fast.

We did not have reservations but we only waited 5 minutes before our party of 4 was sat on a Tuesday night. The restaurant tables are packed pretty tight but I wouldn’t except anything less of New York. The strawberry milkshake was out of this world would absolutely recommend. Burger patties are thick, could probably be shared. The Christmas music was fantastic and the entire place just felt warm and cozy. Very affordable food for the location. If visiting the city absolutely stop here!

Junior's is my favorite place for creamy and tasty cheesecake. You can taste the quality of cheese they used to make them. I usually always go for the original one, but there are have many other flavours. This location is better tasting. I tried the Brooklyn one and was very disappointed. This is a can't miss!

We ordered a cappuccino and latte, and they were pretty good! Two of us shared lumberjack, so I would say their portions are quite big! Eggs were cooked as we asked, and rye bread was toasted perfectly. I wasn't that impressed with pancakes, but it was not my go-to anyway, so it was okay (and no real maple syrup). The fries were seasoned well. However, the cake was disappointing for me. Very dense, almost too creamy: felt like I was eating Philadelphia cream cheese mixed with icing sugar. Just that. Interesting place to visit, but once is enough.

I been here many times and this is the best location in Manhattan. The place is super big, lots of seating and have a bar. Our waiter was really nice and friendly, we didn’t have have to wait to be seated. We just had dessert and coffee this time. The blueberries cheesecake is the best, we also like the apple crumble cheesecake and the strawberry cheesecake. I’ll totally recommend any of those. Love the decor and the atmosphere a mix between vintage old diner and Broadway!

As a tourist, the location and experience is amazing. Love the diner vibe on the inside and the whole theme of the place. From a food perspective, it’s fairly plain/bland and mediocre at best (a little oily) - hence my rating. I understand this is American food however, I expected it to be just a little bit better. Albeit, the food was fairly priced. The milkshakes are also pretty good.

Cool location close to Times Square. We ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and the Pastrami Cheeseburger. Everything was very good, despite the fries were a little dry and the service a little slow. Overall good experience a good food! The price was also very reasonable for being in downtown NY. We spent 50 dollars with feed and tips.

We visited Juniors last week, specifically for cheesecake and pancakes. Pancakes weren't on the menu for dinner, so my husband got tenders and fries instead. They looked good, but after both of us trying them, we definitely thought that they needed better seasoning, or any at all. Now, the cheesecake was phenomenal. I had the strawberry one and it was so good. Definitely recommend them for dessert, but *maybe* not so much for food. Service was fine. Our waitress was nice, but I think she was sat with too many tables because we didn't see her often.

A true NYC experience you must visit. I asked the waiter what he recommended and he told me the Turkey Reuben because of the Cole slaw on it, crispy fries, and Russian sauce. My husband got the Corned Beef Reuben with the same sides. Both were huge and could have fed two people. This is perfect for families of four to split these two meals! Definitely try the Cream Soda with it to get the full experience. From the classic menu to the nod to the Dodgers Baseball team everywhere you look, you’ll enjoy this experience in downtown New York City.

I always visit Junior's every time I'm in NYC! Their food and service are always top notch. I sat at the bar on my most recent visit and the bartender took great care of me. The club sandwich is easily enough to feed 2 people. I loved the cookies and cream cheesecake I got to go. It was perfect for when I returned to the hotel.

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Junior's on Sunday, February 25th, at 7:30pm, and our experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and our server, Eric, provided exceptional service throughout our meal. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, and my fiance opted for the grilled cheese. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic, and we savored every bite. One of the best burgers I’ve had here so far in New York for sure! As UK tourists, we always look forward to indulging in authentic American food, and Junior's certainly delivered on that front. However, we were a bit underwhelmed by the "fries" that accompanied our meals. They were more like what we would call "chips" back home - thick and chunky, reminiscent of those served at a budget pub. While we would have preferred the more traditional thin-cut American fries, this didn't detract significantly from our overall enjoyment of the meal. What truly stole the show were the desserts! Junior's offers a wonderful selection of cakes and cheesecakes, and we couldn't resist indulging. I opted for the chocolate fudge cake, while my fiance chose the classic cheesecake. Both desserts were absolutely incredible, with rich flavors and indulgent textures. In fact, we both agreed that Junior's cheesecake was the best we've ever had, hands down. Overall, our dining experience at Junior's was a memorable one. We highly recommend Junior's to anyone looking for a taste of authentic American cuisine and unforgettable desserts in the heart of New York City. We can't wait to return and indulge in more of their mouthwatering offerings!

The bartender/waiter said when he handed us our food "enjoy the best breakfast in town" and I can say without a doubt he was 100% correct. Every last detail of how they cook the food was perfect. Needless to say we cleaned our plates. And if you order french toast, its battered in a cornflake crust and gives it amazing texture and taste. And the simple things like getting your eggs over medium and that coming out perfect is hard to find. Hash browns have lots of seasoning and crunch but soft on the inside. My ham was also delicious. Loved it all!!

First off a shout-out to our server Michael for the best service ever! He was so attentive and we didn't want for anything. Next, I tried the bacon cheeseburger with fries and onion rings! One of the best burgers I've ever had and it was cooked to perfection. The fries and onion rings were golden brown and hot. Washed it down with a Pepsi since they don't serve Coke products. Then topped that off with a slice of strawberry cheesecake! This was my first time trying Juniors and I'll try it again on my next visit to New York City!

From all the food ordered, I like the burger, french onion soup, and cheesecake the most. Burger pate was moist, and it's real meat (not much fillers). It's best to have the toppings on the side, especially the mushroom and caramelized onions. They will make burger soggy. It was huge and very filling, so it was good that I shared my dessert. The french onion soup was fully loaded and very flavourful with thick melted cheese on top. The cheesecake pie with strawberry topping was creamy and has a well-balanced flavor overall. Service was ok, nothing special. Got our seat pretty much instantly.

This was my husband and it's first stop on our trip to NYC. We stayed at a nearby hotel and of course had to get the world famous cheesecake. After about a 30 minutes wait during lunch time, we ordered some food that was pretty standard diner food, nothing all that special but good nonetheless. Then we shared a red velvet cheesecake which was fantastic. I probably wouldn't eat a meal here again but I'd definitely get cheesecake if I was in the mood for it! There's so many choices and you can purchase at the front bakery.

The service was really great here especially the bartender. We was able to eat here two nights because it was the only place open late. The cheesecakes here are great but the food definitely looked better than it tasted. Come for the dessert!

Oh man was this place delicious! They were incredibly busy when we visited on Thanksgiving Day after the parade, but we didn't wait too long- maybe 25 minutes or so. The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the lunch combo with a Caesar salad and matzo ball soup and I loved every bite! We also ordered the Disco fries and they weren't the best, but not terrible. At the end of the meal we all ordered cheesecake and it was some of the best cheesecake I've ever had! I ordered the Red Velvet cake cheesecake and it was SO good!

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant last week. First time, I found it busy and didn't want to wait, but 2nd time I did understand the reason for being that busy. First, it is a very nice place, located right in front of Marriott Marquis Hotel, and half a block from Time Square which makes this restaurant a great choice. The inside is beautiful. It is very clean, organized, and calm. The staff is very nice, efficient, and diligent. The menu has a great variety of food, with plenty of choices for anyone regardless age, culture, and diet habits. I had a baked onion soup to start, a then a garden salad with choice of Salmon. My Daughter has a cheese burger, and my friends macaroni and cheese, and another burger. We got very surprised about priced, really affordable for anyone. I went to the bakery and saw all the good options they have, even I didn't order any. I highly recommend this restaurant when you visit Time Square.

This place is great. The food was very delicious and filling. Our bartender Travis was very polite and quick with service 🙂 He checked in frequently, but not too frequently. My husband ordered the fish and chips and said it was splendid 🤤I ordered the steak burger well-done, and it was cooked as ordered. I ordered one of their electric Long Island drinks, and it was delicious. The atmosphere was very Christmas spirited. Filled with Christmas music and Christmas spirit from the customers, as well as the staff 🙂 The strawberry cheesecake was delightfully divine 💛

Fantastic Place to enjoy food, excellent service and great interior. Everything was super clean including the Restrooms. Our Server Sebastian was fabulous (02/23/24) what an amazing service he provided for us. The kitchen Staff did a great job, they definitely know what they are doing. The Omelette was very nice with fresh ingredients and well presented. The pancakes were very good too. 🥞😋 I really enjoyed their coffee (you can ask for refill without extra charge). They have everything a customer could wish for. They even do Cocktails and more. 🍹🍸 I loved everything about Juniors. I wish we had one where I live. Don't forget to tip 💵 great Service. 😉 The whole Juniors Team deserves 5 Stars.

Crowded and have a very nice vibe. American style diner. Came here wanting to try their cheesecake and wasn’t disappointed at all! Server recommended the raspberry swirl cheesecake and was really good! Slight raspberry tang and complements the cheesecake to let it shine. Right amount of creaminess. Cheeseburger was above average. Nice char on patty with decent flavor. Not the best I’ve had but good. Sides of onion rings were disappointing. Batter wasn’t properly mixed and lumpy dough had to be removed. Vanilla milkshake was so so. Would have preferred it thicker as it was quite watery. Maybe extra ice cream would elevate it more.

First of all, we came from Chicago and we didn’t have our COVID vaccine papers with us. The place only allows inside vaccinated people who have proof of it. That is good. But we decided to take out food from there, and opened turkey was messy not understandable how to eat, the cheeseburger wasn’t good enough for place with 4.4 star review even McDonald’s tastes better! And only the cheesecake was good enough. Though there was too much syrup above. In total we spend $73 and this is not worth it!

Great location for juniors. Not the same experience as the original location in Brooklyn, but the food is very close to what you get in Brooklyn. Came here with a large group and we found a great spot for all of us.

What better place to enjoy NYC cheesecake than in NYC Times Square at Juniors! Established in the 1950s, this retro Diner and soda shop is the perfect hangout after a Broadway show. And the food is fantastic. Our group indulged in cherry cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake, and we couldn't believe how big the slices were! We also had their onion rings...very good! Great vibe, we will return!

What a fun experience! As New York tourists, this was a lovely lunch on our Times Square and Broadway visit. Lunch special of Matzo Ball Soup and Egg Salad Sandwich was awesome. We so enjoyed the pickles, and salad relish served on the side. Finished by sharing a giant slice of cheesecake. Such a delight!

incredible food! Absolutely loved all the unique flavors! service was not horrible, but not outstanding either. The menu is huge, so lots of options to choose from. The location is popular for tourists, and the dining room is very large and spacious. I found the soup and sandwich combo to be a great lunch option. The turkey sandwich was packed with meat, and the matzoh ball soup was tasty and a nice way to warm up on a cool, rainy day. The service was great, friendly, and fast. Before leaving, we got a slice of the Celebration Cheesecake to go from the front counter. It was amazing!

Overpriced but nice. First impression is service was friendly and efficient. Split pea soup was a disappointment. No salt and no trace of ham. Just green yuck. Unfortunately the drinks were no better the Ginger ales were pale and the strawberry lemonade cocktail was all sugar. BUT the serving portions were HUGE. Burger plates are definitely shareable . No room for dessert but that menu is long and served supersized as well. Shout out to Jesse our server. She was genuine and accommodating.

I'll start that it isn't COVID-friendly. One of the staff setting the tables didn't have a mask on, while one of the persons who brought food to another table had their mask under their nose. They also don't enforce masks inside (not when sitting of course but beyond that) and there were maskless customers all over. Being in the midst of a pandemic, I wouldn't go again. Their cheesecake is decent, not sure if I would call it 'the best.' Way overpriced - almost $10 for a piece of cheesecake. Good latte.

  • 5/5 Billy K. 1 year ago on Google
Best Cheesecake in the WORLD in my opinion. It's really the reason to go BUT their food was also delicious! Check out the amount of bacon on the BLT my wife ordered! I would not be surprised if there was an entire pound of bacon on that sandwich. I had a pastrami reuben that was tasty and our friends both loved their food as well (Egg Salad Bacon Sandwich & Split Pea Soup). Fries were salted just right, crispy and hot on the outside and not too thick so you felt like you were eating a potato wedge. Juniors is a NYC staple that everyone should visit. We never go to NYC without going to Juniors. It is a busy place but the crowds move through pretty quickly. Their staff are friendly and happy to banter and have a good time. But, please, for the love of all that is good in this world, GET THE CHEESECAKE!

Had pumpkin pie cheesecake. The frosting on top disintegrated from the cheesecake itself. The original cheesecake flavour and texture is lovely. The crust is just the right thickness and density so it was crispy and was easy to eat with a fork.

Good NY diner. Like most places in NY the prices are high for the type of food. $100 for 4 ppl is min here. Open faced roast beef was delicious. Shakes ok. Desserts good but not great. Atmosphere great and lots of servers around so slow service doesn't happen here. Deep in the heart of Times Square so enjoy the gong show while getting here.

  • 5/5 Bine D. 1 year ago on Google
Friendly waiters, loved it inside. Been here for lunch. I'm not a coleslaw fan. But this one here was legendary. So creamy. Fries totally delicious, meat also tasted great but a bit dry. But that's not so bad if it tastes good! The ribs had a slight spiciness. Very minimal. But super delicious! Salad fresh and huge! Would definitely come back.

Great atmosphere with a fun menu. Prices may be considered high for some but, to be fair, it in the center of a touristic area. The service was prompt and pleasant, which was refreshing. 😊 For food, I was a bit disappointed with my burger only because I ordered medium and it arrived well done. Since they make them thick, it was a bit tough to eat that done. With that being said, it was still delicious. The cheesecakes were very tasty to and authentic to New York: Heavy on the cream cheese, the rich texture from the extra eggs, and that hint of sour cream and lemon juice tang. 😍 I would definitely recommend going at least once if visiting the area. Let me know how it goes!

1st time and last time. Granted the food arrived at a decent time but the flavor was horrible. The patty had no flavor and the fries needed to be cooked more

  • 4/5 Mary 3 years ago on Google
Fun tourist stop for some pretty good cheesecake! There are certainly better dessert places in NYC, and it is certainly overhyped, but it is just one of those that has a must visit reputation. Got the red velvet cheesecake and a black and white cookie. Felt the price point was fair, and I enjoyed the few bites I had. To me, it was a little more rich than I'd prefer, but it was good. The black and white cookies were standard, but good (they honestly all taste the same no matter where you get them in Times Square). I wouldn't wait in line for this, if the place was crowded, but I'd get it again when in NYC!

  • 4/5 Shyen T. 1 year ago on Google
While the food isn’t extraordinary by any means, it’s still good. We had burgers, pastrami, etc. and they were all solid. Prices were a little bit more expensive than you’d probably expect to pay, but to be fair, you’re in New York. The brisket melt was what I got, and it was pretty delicious. Additionally, we didn’t try their dessert or shakes, which I’ve heard are good, so perhaps those would skew this review towards a 5. For the base food we ordered though, it was pretty good.
