This is hands down the most disappointing restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I struggle to see why this place presently has 3 Michelin stars. Perhaps it was better before. The service is lacking. The sommelier wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about any of the wines in the pairings. The waitstaff would come by, plop the dishes down, mumble a description (often incorrect or incomplete) of whatever they’d splashed on you and leave. It was always someone different. The dishes themselves were lacking in creativity. The only thing that even came close to being interesting was their classic oysters and pearls dish, and they’ve been doing that forever. And that was one dish out of the entire tasting menu. Of course the rest of the food was fine, but 3 Michelin stars? Absolutely not. You could walk down the street and find any of this in plenty of other places in the city. The hot dishes were lukewarm, the cold dishes were lukewarm. Every dish was the most pedestrian possible preparation of the ingredients. Maybe they’ve gotten complacent or are no longer able to innovate. Honestly, the dishes weren’t even delicious, just good. Not a single dish was worth the visit. And at the end of the night, they told us they had printed us custom menus of what each of us had and, of course, they were both incorrect. There are plenty of 2 or 1 Michelin star or even unrated places in this city that are more special and worth your time than Per Se.

Just an absolutely outstanding experience. Start to finish, this was the last of Keller's restaurants for us to dine in and I'm glad we saved it for last. We honestly had so much fun... and even got a tour of the kitchen and met Chef Thomas Keller at the end of our meal. Get the wine pairings and sit back and relax. Service is exceptional, food is amazing and inventive. Pictures barely do the night justice. Loved it.

This was hands down the best dining experience I've ever had. They greeted me with a complimentary glass of champagne and the service was phenomenal. Each dish was perfect and the timing of delivery was on point. They even let me see the kitchen after I was finished. I will definitely try to be back on my next visit to the city

A truly extraordinary culinary adventure awaits you in the heart of New York! Each and every course of the chef's meticulously crafted tasting menu is a masterpiece, made even more exceptional by the impeccable wine pairings. It's no wonder this restaurant has been awarded an impressive 3 Michelin stars. The flawless execution of every dish will create memories that will last a lifetime. However, I must admit that the service fell slightly short of my expectations, especially when trying to comprehend the sommelier's explanations through his mask (which proved quite challenging). Despite this minor setback, I can confidently say that this dining experience ranks as the second best in my life, surpassed only by the remarkable Jean George just a stone's throw away. I wholeheartedly recommend Per Se and I am already eagerly anticipating my return!

Amazing food! I came here with families and I feel I’m welcomed. The stuff are polite and thoughtful. They are down to earth and easy to have a conversation. My boyfriend and I celebrated our birthdays and received nice gifts. The dessert was amazing and the amount was generous. Great experience and I’d definitely recommend you to come here again to celebrate some important events of your life.

I really wanted to like this restaurant given that it is one of the few 3 Star Michelin restaurants in NYC and was one time listed among the World's 50 Best. Unfortunately, it is starting to show its age (along with the Shops at Columbus Circle) and there is a sense that that the restaurant is trading off of its former glory and accolades. The portions are small and the majority of dishes taste okay (but are not mind-blowing). We also found the menu to be imbalanced and overweighted in favor of desserts. The lamb was also shockingly cold and tough, suggesting too much time on the pass and some of the classic dishes such as the "Oysters and Pearls" felt underprepared. At times it feels that the kitchen and the staff are simply going through the motions of service, which is disappointing given how Per Se presents itself. Given the extremely high price point (about $1,000 with tax, tip and drinks for two people) it is difficult to recommend Per Se given the host of other restaurants competing for your time and money. Note that service is already included although there is another line for "additional gratuity".

The dining experience was exceptional, with delicious food, upscale atmosphere, and friendly service were excellent. Reservations usually filled up weeks in advance. We got lucky when one spot opened up. Each course was made meticulously and the cocktail was excellent. The experience is worth the price, making it perfect for special occasions.

I booked Per Se, and then my flight and hotel. It was a fine dining experience. For a Michelin 3-Star restaurant, the food was very good but not exceptional. The only dish that impressed me the most was the green circle Amish chicken – very original, creative, and flavorful. The variety of desserts was unexpected – they were wonderful! In addition to the 9-course meal of $390 pp, they offered other dishes ranging from $40 to $130. The staff was attentive and friendly. We were lucky Chef Thomas Keller was on site. He came out to greet the guests, and we took a picture with him.

Just an incredible dining experience. From the champagne to the custom cocktails and each beautifully plated and delicious course, I loved every aspect of being at Per Se. The desserts were dreamy and the kitchen tour was also impressive

I went with my family of four to celebrate my Wife's 50th Birthday. We enjoyed the 10 course tasting menu. Three were vegetarian and mine was with protein. The food was delicious, plating was spectacular and courses came out unrushed. There were multiple servers and a sommelier who were all very attentive and responsive. However, the finesse of the servers was inconsistent as some servers were meticulous while others spilled coffee, were not gentle when placing plates and splashed water during pouring. When I made the reservation I specifically told the restaurant about the special occasion and gave the spelling of my wife's name. They assured me that the pastry chef would make something special for dessert with her name on it but somehow, this did not get translated and was missed during the final dessert course. We realized this when the head waiter was wrapping up the evening. When I mentioned the 50th Birthday (for the second time that evening) he asked, "did I miss something?" Then he vanished for quite some time, I assume to look for a resolution. To their credit, they did try their best by plating a second presentation of desserts including a small white lemon mousse with a candle, as well as a signed menu from the chef and a extensive tour of the kitchen. The overall experience, food and service was lovely for our family and celebration despite the oversight on the birthday. While these things do happen occasionally and the staff did their best to recover quickly, it is hard to justify when this happens at a Michelin star restaurant with a hefty price tag. Consistency for any restaurant is a big part of the experience, from the greeting to the final goodbyes. Unfortunately, at a high level restaurant, this should be seamless and predictably perfect. In reading many reviews after our experience their seem to be some similar concerns.

Went to French Laundry a while back and thought I needed to try Per Se. Some of the dishes were the same, which I didn't mind at all (e.g. oysters and pearls). Dishes were quite heavy but delicious Per Se had exceptional service. The waiters were friendly and were very on top of it (refilling drinks / answering questions etc) Had a pretty nice view of central park. Would I go again? Yes. I had a terrific experience BUT if you've been to french laundry and looking for a completely new experience then this isn't the place to go

One of the best meals in my life! The service was spectacular and the food was amazing! Everything was handled with care and the presentation of the food delightful. Highly recommend for any special occasion! Edit: went again and it was just as good as the first time!! Great place to celebrate special occasions!

In true Thomas Keller fashion, absolutely wonderful service experience especially the end where they bring you into the kitchen, and the food even though a couple intro courses are very similar to French Laundry for a couple courses - absolute perfection.

Just gratuitously good. Service was so warm and friendly and intuitive while being whip-sharp precise. The food was a fantastic blend of creative and traditional while being absolutely delicious all the way through. Reasonable portions, a glorious course structure, and frankly with the gratuity included and no supplements an altogether fair price for a 5+-star experience.

Impeccable, but, I prefer French Laundry mainly because I felt like is was just copied over to New York. Now don't get me wrong, it was amazing but I would have loved to visit Per Se in the winter and sat near that huge fireplace overlooking a snow covered city. So how about this, go to French Laundry in the summer, visit Per Se in the Winter and live your best life! There is one two top that has a bench sit. Make sure you don't sit here. The bench is remarkably uncomfortable, although it does provide a great view of the dining room and city. you just have to sit upright the entire time when we want to relax the most.

Overall a great experience. Service and ambiance are what to expect for restaurants of this caliber. Somehow I was expecting a bit more for the cuisine per se. It lacks a little bit of magic and harmony compared to other fine dining places I’ve been to in NYC. Not a total lack of, of course, but I was hoping an even higher level of excellence. Many dishes, while good, can leave some room to be nitpicked. For instance, I find the smell of the oyster in the highly famed “oyster and pearls” a bit too salient and slightly incompatible with the rest of the dish. Dress code has been relaxed. While some patrons dress nicely, some dress in a fairly casual way. I would prefer they maintain a higher standard in this regard. To end in a good point, I like the way they price. Service and soft drinks seem to be included. And the coffee is good even for a fine dining restaurant. Overall definitely worth a visit at least once for a foodie. I’m just unsure how frequent I might visit, if I would dine here again.

Per Se is an iconic New York restaurant by The French Laundry’s chef, Thomas Keller. It doesn’t disappoint: the appetizers, cheeses and desserts from the tasting menu are some of the best food we’ve ever had in New York. I’d highlight the impeccable oysters with caviar, the tomato and heart of palm salad, the cheese pastry with truffles, the chocolate chai pudding, and the cappuccino ice cream. The view from the tables is gorgeous. Service is also top notch and delightfully friendly (feels like you’re not on Manhattan - chuckles). We just weren’t as impressed with the meat dishes - the crab pierogi was good, but not mouth-dropping; the chicken was the best of the three, but still not awe inspiring; and the lamb prime rib tasted blander and less tender than we hoped. I’m giving 4/5 stars only because, when you pay this high a price for a meal, my expectations are that every step of it will be moving and memorable. This was the case with a good part of the menu, but far from all of it. Still worth the visit, in my opinion!

Have been hearing people talking about it a lot, and finally had a chance to dine in there for my 10th anniversary in NYC. I must say it was an unforgettable experience, the food tastes great and no single ingredients are the same in their 9 courses and multiple desserts. Customer service is A+, especially the guy whose name is Igor, he made our experience at Per Se even better!! Will definitely come back again. The restaurant also gave us some cookies and the menu for our memories. Also, saw some article saying that they are raising their price to $800 per person, I would highly recommend people go there sooner than later.

This is a difficult review to write as we were last here over 10 years ago and remembered the excellent experience. We also visited the French Laundry in 2016 with a similarly excellent experience. Celebrating our 29th anniversary together with friends from Los Angeles who were also celebrating their 29th anniversary, the 4 of us hoped to share a special evening. Maybe our expectations were too high, but there were no dishes that stood out. The menu included their signature "Oysters and Pearls" a staple at the West and East locales. Montauk fluke was over seasoned and slightly overdone. Quail breast was almost "mushy" and may have been better if prepared with Moulard duck. The wagyu was good, maybe it was sous vide, but almost any A5 will be pretty good. The service was uncoordinated and awkward, with servers that seemed to be high school interns who could not explain the dishes (was that a lobster "Galette" that tasted like a crispy pan-fried shrimp cake...ummm, I'll find out for you?) As native-born New Yorkers who have experienced NY fine dining at places like the Quilted Giraffe, Monrachet, La Cote Basque, Chanterelle, etc., we had hoped for a 2023 version of a future NY classic. We ordered cappuccinos that came with a "hole" in the center of the crema top, no fleur de lys design (yikes, have we become old and staid-or should appearance be relevant?). Our server said that it was because the coffee was the "star", not the appearance. We could not understand the tall gentleman who brought us a dish describing it in a strange monotone that we didn't comprehend as he towered over us. Maybe we visited too soon after their October reopening, but the evening just "felt" very awkward, disjointed and hastily arranged. The silverware replaced after each course was at times placed haphazardly. During the dessert course, we asked for hot water as the tea was too strong for our friends. They brought another pot of tea to our table and when we brought this up, we could hear a loud conversation from the back of the house. The pinnacle, in our opinion, of awkwardness, occurred at the end of dinner when we were presented with our check for about $2600 without wine. All of us are only occasional, light drinkers. Our server told us that the staff only earned approximately $18-$20/hour and that even though service was already included, "any additional gratituity would be appreciated". We would have happily been charged a minimum 20% to 25% service charge as opposed to being asked for additional gratuity after the bill was presented. No complaints with the additional supplemental charges for the wagyu or anything else, but please let me know in advance. We felt almost blindsided like the first time we saw the local Starbucks payment screen with additional gratuity balloons. Totally out of place at any restaurant, much less a Michelin rated one. Perception is reality and having recently enjoyed some great food and great service at La Pavilion and Gabriel Kreuther (excellent service, they even recognized that I was left-handed and adjusted the silverware accordingly!), Per Se was a disappointment on this special evening where we chose to spend our special occasion. Times change and not always for the better.

Best meal in New York by far ! Dishes were creative and very tasty. View is great and service very attentive. The wine pairing was exquisite and the sommelier definitely knew her wine. Will definitely come back

Definitely lives up to a lot of the aspects you’d expect from a 3 star restaurant. Service was phenomenal from start to finish alongside the drinks and atmosphere. The food was fantastic of course, the supplements were fantastic. But a small handful of dishes seemed to be their own iteration of some main ingredients that have been appearing repeatedly across restaurants in New York, and took away some of the wow factor of their menu as a whole.

Spent around 700-800 per person and had two bottles of wine. I wish they would tell you what is on the menu before hand because I usually don't enjoy raw food. Last time I was here it wasn't based around raw fish and more cooked meats. Gratuity is already included* based on what they say but it seems that we still need to tip afterwards as they still have an option to do so. After talking to most folks people tip another 10 percent on top of what they have already paid for. I don't know if people should be tipping ontop of the price but we did it anyways. Definitely worth a stop if you never dined at luxury fairs and wanted to give it a go, but not worth dying for.

Amazing culinary experience. We were fortunate to get a reservation at 4:30. The salad and oyster pearls were really good but the crab was a bit underwhelming. I definitely recommend upgrading to tagliatelle and wagyu for your last 2 dishes. They are worth it! Also the little dessert buffet was the best part at the end!! Thank you for the cutest NYC skyline.

This is my favorite restaurant in Manhattan; I went here a few days ago and got the vegetarian tasting menu. We had the following: “Oysters and Pearls”, Chilled Cherry Tomato Soup, “Bread and Butter”, Norwich Meadows Farm Rainbow Carrots, Tempura-Fried Squash Blossom, Fava Bean & Eggplant “Agnolotti Doppi”, “Carnaroli Risotto Biologico”, New Jersey Green Asparagus, Gougere, and an Assortment of Desserts. The food was absolutely delicious; Per Se never disappoints. The service was impeccable as always.

I went to Per Se for a friend’s birthday dinner and it was one of the best dining experiences in my life. This nine-course chef's tasting menu was expertly prepared and redefined my expectations for fine dining. Overall the service was excellent, the decor was elegant, and most importantly the food was memorable. I’d specifically like to mention and recommend the “Oysters And Pearls.” It was my favorite dish and I would come back just to try it or a variation of it again.

Probably the best tasting food we've had in all of USA. Definitely better than Alinea, but not as good as Frantzén in Stockholm or Alto in Milan. Definitely appreciated the gift bag with treats for the day after. The matching wine tasting is very expensive, I wish there was a slightly less pricey option since it isn't that many courses.

The food is amazing and the service is fantastic! My son received his first fencing medal, and we celebrated here. Everyone congratulated him, including the chief, who served him extra dessert. As a special treat, we visited the kitchen. My son told me we had to go back to this restaurant afterward because it is so great! lol

Great atmosphere. Food was very salty. did not make any amendments upon the request and the meat was very fatty. Cakes were too sweet, no delicacy, sugar granules were not dissolved, requested fruits option and chef said it was not available. In the menu, it said service charge was included (400$ per person) but when we asked, the waiter said tip was not included. OverHyped. You can easily find better French restaurants in nyc for half of the price.

What an amazing dinner and top notch experience. Some dishes of the tasting menu are similar to the French Laundry and some are unique to Per Se. Hard to say which one is better, they both have their own character. Service was extremely friendly and attentive- we were especially impressed by Matthew, what a great guy!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. Every single dish was extremely delicious. This beats Le Bernardin by far in my view. For $315 pp with gratuity included, I would say this is well priced for the quality of food you get. There are also multiple supplements you can add to your tasting menu for extra cost. I highly recommend getting the seared foie gras supplement. The seared foie gras is much tastier than the slow poached one. The flavor is explosive and was probably one of my most favorite dishes of the night. Also be prepared for a firework ending burst of desserts.

We absolutely loved the chef’s tasting menu! The dishes are delicious, the presentation is a work of art, and the staff make you feel right at home as you enjoy French cuisine in front of a fireplace overlooking beautiful views of Manhattan. Our favorite dishes were the lubina & the quail. Expect one of the best dinners you’ve ever had.

Per Se was a dream come true. We coincidentally booked our reservation on their 19th anniversary back in February and that made for an even more special night. I can truly say that this was the first time that I experienced a flawless menu. I don't think I've ever eaten a meal as slow as I did here because I had to savory every bite. The sauce-work here is insane, its unlike anything l've ever had, the flavors are all so complex yet simple. "Oysters and Pearls" was even better than I could've imagined. "Artichauts En Vierge" was definitely one of the best dishes that I have ever eaten, the sauce was absolute perfection and makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Another favorite of the night for me was the Japanese Hiramasa "Tataki". I didn't even know that chicken could be so good and taste so high quality until had the "Four Story Hill Farm Poularde". The "Beets and Leeks" course with Maine lobster made me realize that every lobster i've had before this has been very overcooked. The gougere was insane and then the dessert drop to follow was literal paradise, I mean look at all of those desserts. This was such an unforgettable meal!

The well-known Per Se is located in the Time Warner Center in Manhattan. It is a combination of modern American and French cuisine. As the most famous three-star Michelin restaurant in New York, Per Se's status has never been shaken. Someone said: "If you haven't eaten at Per Se in New York, don't say you have been to New York." As a New York lover, I visited New York many times, I definitely visited Per Se. Per Se gives me a real 3-star Michelin feeling, from the foods, service, and the environment. In addition, after the meal, I got a chance to visit its kitchen: it’s an unbelievable spotless kitchen. I also got a box of home-made cookies and a box of home-made chocolate when I leave. Absolutely recommend. It’s costly, but it worth the money for such a great experience. I had its chef tasting menu.

Came here with my wife as a special occasion. We had been to EMP before so we had high expectations for another Michelin 3 star restaurant. Service was decent - not to the same level as EMP (pre-vegan and Covid). Our server was attentive in the beginning of our meal for the first 4 courses, but after he did not touch base with us or ask us how the meal was going. The restaurant was getting busier and we guess he had too many tables to properly speak to all the guests. We ordered the foie gras and wagyu supplement. The foie gras came as expected, however we did not receive our waygu supplement. The mistake was remedied quickly but the response left something to be desired. Our server came and asked us if we had ordered the waygu. We didn’t expect it to be a big deal but given the lack of attention previously we felt there was a lack of attention to detail. We expect more from a 400+ per person meal and 3 Michelin star restaurant. Had this been another restaurant we would not have minded. Do not recommend the waygu supplement. Recommend foie gras supplement. Pacing for the courses felt a bit rushed. We would have liked a little more time to enjoy the food. Dessert was plentiful and not bad but too sweet for our tastes. Not enough proper balance. Highlights: Oysters and pearls (so delicious! We could eat this all the time) Summer salad Blue fin tuna Cheese dish Lamb (perfectly cooked) Overall we had a nice time but we likely would not go back for the price. Service just wasn’t good enough. Food was decent though. Per Se seems to be resting on its laurels and just isn’t worth the high price point.

Incredible views onto Columbus Circle/Central Park. Exceptional service matched with extraordinary food, yields the diametric opposite of a fast food experience. The kitchen is the hidden star of the show. A meal here will quickly turn a special occasion into a special-er(?) occasion…. The desserts are equally incredible. Low lighting and great decor round out the 5 star experience.

It was disappointing to see all the sub charges for supplements that they suggested. We have been to many Michelin restaurants and never have been charged for sub ingredients. Nobody mentioned that either, and when we expressed a surprise, it did not seem that anybody cared about us. Most dishes were good, but not amazing. The best thing I tried was the caviar with strawberry sauce (turned out to be a supplement too). I understand it’s a posh location, and people want to try Keller’s restaurant, but if you can, just go to Aska instead. Sorry 😔

From start to finish the experience was beautiful. The staff was knowledgeable and really took the time to explain the menu in detail. Such a beautiful experience as always. Moist, soft but firm and tasty chicken Pate like dish. The beef strip slices were amazing. Almost like pastrami but so much better. Scallop was more firm in texture than I would like but such juiciness and caramelized flavors. The salmon cornettes and oysters & pearls dish are the best things there. Can have 10 of those each. Any time you go is such a special occasion without the pretense.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! All the courses were so delicious and the service was impeccable 😌 We decided to celebrate a birthday here and there was a complimentary birthday cake, special menu and a bag of pastries to bring home since we were too full when it was at the dessert stage. I celebrated my Birthday here last year and was super delighted with the experience. The chef went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Food was so abundant I had to take some back home. I loved every thing about my experience and promised myself I will visit again. I think there should be some restrictions to children below certain age. We had a one year old crying next table which was not pleasant ..

This was a twenty year dream come true for me. I’ve been following per se since they opened in 2004 and finally made the visit on 3/3. We had the shorter tasting in the salon and honestly, so glad we did that and not the main dining room. The room was luxuriously comfortable. It felt elevated without being too pretentious. The service was warm, friendly, and professional. The food was excellent in presentation and preparation. We left feeling full and happy. They were even kind enough to let me keep a copy of the menus as a keepsake. I hope to return in the future. Truly memorable experience.

WARNING: FOOD POISONING-DIARRHEA My friends and I, all three of us experienced DIARRHEA and mild ABDOMINAL PAIN after the meal. We are very disappointed because this shouldn’t happen at any restaurant regardless of whether it’s a fine dining or not. I cannot believe my very first review is to write about this. Given the price, I have expectations for a Michelin starred restaurant, but I’m not a picky person. Food: the food is in general good, not really impressive compared to the other Michelin starred restaurants in the city (I’m a foodie and I have tried most 3 & 2 stars) Let-downs: for the dish add-on, we ordered wagyu and foie gras. We thought it’s in addition to the main courses they serve, but apparently they substituted them. If you want to try the original chefs tasting menu, do NOT order add-on. Some other restaurants would add truffle, wagyu, etc as an actual “add-on”, so I’m pretty surprised to see they just substituted them. The waiter also forgot to mention the price of add-on, but this is a relatively minor issue. Services: 4-stars, standard Michelin star service - minus one star for being slow and not as attentive (waited very long to order wine, and first few courses were relatively slow)

Our second time here and, we can’t wait to come back! The staff is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk through the doors. They are attentive, personable and friendly. The food is uniquely prepared and every bite is beyond incredible. Dining at Per Se is truly an extraordinary experience!!

It is a three-star restaurant, so I went with high expectations. However, the food was not as beautiful as the pictures, and the taste was strong. I was surprised. The staff and service were excellent.

My cousin to me to Per Se to celebrate a milestone birthday. I must say it was the best dining experience I have ever had. From the service, to the food, it was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday. The staff were all so friendly and wee great to chat with. The food was mind blowing. There was so much flavoured packed into each bite. We were so full at the end. To top off the evening, they gave us a tour of the wine cellar and the kitchen and a signed copy of the menu from the chef and some other treats. This place is expensive but so worth it for that special occasion.

Swanky and romantic place! 3 stars Michelin restaurant ✨ We were impressed by atmosphere, food and service. Highly recommend to try 9- course tasting menu. Each course is a masterpiece! And it was a surprise to have delicious, just melted in your mouth numerous small deserts and hand made chocolates in the end of the dinner.

Wow - was perfect. I could go on and on … upgraded to wagyu - perfect. All the treats just great. Caviar … a HUGE dessert - it’s that good and worth it!

In one word - Fantastic. Great execution in every dish. Just an absolutely outstanding experience. Each dish was perfect and the timing of delivery was on point. They even let me see the kitchen after I was finished. I will definitely try to be back on my next visit to the city

Confit Lubina, bacon wrapped quail, “oyster and pearls” are all so delicious. Service is professional. The only complaint is that the wait time between courses is a bit long, took three hours for eight courses… Love the corner seat they arranged for us 💕

A truly phenomenal experience. The setting is luxurious yet understated. Yes, you have to enter the Columbus Circle mall but it is tucked away in the 4th floor away from the noise and commotion of the city. Pretty much every table gets a view of Central Park in one way or another. The food was fantastic but it is hard to describe how much better it was in the way that it was presented. Simple dishes were turned intricate and quality food was turned exceptional. The service I found to be perfect. Timely, attentive, casual when appropriate, but formal enough that you still felt you were at a 3* restaurant. Overall I cannot say enough to how great of an experience it was. I do not quite see how others have had bad experiences. Perhaps the staff was having an off night for them, but I went on a Monday Halloween night and still felt that nothing was left out for me. My only complaint was there is no music playing! I did not mind it though as the chatter and experience was enough to keep me engaged. For those that have never been to a Michelin restaurant: perhaps this is not your first stop. If you've been to Aquavit, Gramercy, etc then this is your natural next step. It is hard to get a reservation, but that is for good reason. I would say it is French influenced, so do not get scared by the "French" description. Grab a table here and enjoy! A quick note to add: I believe the website recommends/requests jackets. I would certainly follow that for men. The minimum dress I saw was suit with no tie, but a tie is absolute fine. You can get away with nice slacks and a sport coat as well. I would recommend against short sleeves or not wearing a jacket. They will certainly take you but it is a bit out of place.
