I really looked forward trying this place out for months. Maybe my expectation was too high. I came on a weekday around 11 a. and got seated right away. I got the "early lunch", which was pretty good. The recipe was very simple, yet it worked. But it really wasn't anything memorable compared to my other favorite brunch places (sadly, most very far away in D.C.). Plus, $3 for an extra egg??? I really should have asked the server on the spot, but my server made it sound like the egg was part of the dish (she had said "now, should we top that with just one egg or two?"). She did not mention that it was an "extra".

Loved the food and the overall vibe of the restaurant. The waiters and host were very nice and accommodated every need. However, the space itself feels a bit cramped due to the size of the place and the fact that this restaurant is so popular. Also, older people may feel that it is too loud and overbearing (at least, that's what my mom and grandma felt). The bread and drinks are especially tasty. I ordered the banana and date smoothie with soy milk and was not disappointed even though it was about 8 dollars. The tartine and jam/butter was an affordable and delicious side. We also ordered the avocado sandwhich, shakshuka, farmer's breakfast, and a couple croissants which were very delicious.

Incredible place for a breakfast or a brunch in New York! We went there twice during our short stay and both times it was very tasty and good! I tried the Balkan Croissant and I totally recommend, just try it. Actually, everything looks very tasty, but I couldn’t try it all :) Will be glad to be back and in the meantime I recommend, hoping that when i am back there will be available seats 😉

Very cute place for a light meal. The atmosphere is great but spaces are quite limited as far as how many things can fit on your table. Good to go during the week off peak times.

A little too congested if you get one of the back tables like we did. Like, anyone and everyone walking by or being seated near you will end up being trouble. Also, we were sharing a 6 seater table with a random group of 4. Ughhh. So we got the Turmeric Latte, Cafe Au Lait, Shakshouka, Early Lunch and Zaatar Scone. The coffee or latte weren't as good as we hoped it would be. The Shakshouka and the Early lunch were great. The Zaatar scone was alright. Oh, and the complimentary pita bread was to die for - the softest and tastiest - EVER. Loved the ambiance, service was good. Food was amazing.

Small little breakfast spot with Mediterranean influence. Food was good but small portions for the price. Yummy pastries and friendly staff. Worth trying out if you're in the neighborhood but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

I was here for brunch and it was awesome. I never had Mediterranean for brunch but I will again! Everything at such good flavor. The Shashuka came highly recommended and rightfully so - the combo of the tomato and the garlic the cheese the eggs-oh my God-it was delicious. Other dishes at the table-the mushroom and cheese omelet and the beef/egg skillet we’re also delicious. The elderflower mimosa was so unique and tasty and although I did not have a pastry, they looked unbelievably scrumptious. Loved the open kitchen plan to see all of the deliciousness at work and the old cans as a vessel for the silverware. I will 100% be coming back here and will make a reservation online (something I did not do resulting in waiting 35 minutes for a table but the wait was well worth it!).

A small , but crowded food joint. We went there pretty early on a Saturday morning, but it was still quite busy. The owner was really warm and friendly and the wait staff were courteous and pleasant. The menu itself had a lot of variety and did not confuse us with too many options. They had quite a few vegetarian options as well, which was nice. The presentation of the food was striking, as was the taste. Money and time well spent!

The food there was extremely delicious, going into some territory that I haven't ventured into yet when it comes to Mediterranean food. My friends and I shared a few items on the menu, me having a smoked salmon omelet while another had a roast beef platter topped with an egg and avocado. The waiters were extremely nice and welcoming to us being new there. I would def go again

We were sat very quickly, even on a Sunday morning, which was a great start. We had a dirty Chai, dirty Turmeric Latte, and dirty Hot Nutella, all of which were tasty. My husband got The Veggie which he enjoyed, and I had the Early Lunch. We also ordered an almond croissant to eat later on the train. Neither of us was blown away by anything, but we enjoyed all of it well enough. Our server was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed.

The moment you walk in, you feel the positive and calming vibes! I honestly was only looking for a quick bite before I hop on the Big Bus, and the Rustic Table was the closest to me in terms of distance, I had no idea that I am going to a place where I would be having the BEST coffee (Lavender Latte) in my life, ever!!!!!! I have never written a review for a cafe before, but you guys deserve it!!! I enjoyed the Farmers Breakfast Platter too! Thank you, thank you, thank you! And Vita was Awesome.

The waiter asked every single customer that if this is his/her first time here, which made me think there might be lots of tourists coming to the Rustic Table. I tried the house baked Nutella Rugelach. Somehow I always thought it should have the same texture as croissant, but apparently I was wrong. The dough itself might be too hard for me, but I did enjoy the Nutella:)

he service was exceptional and the food was impeccably prepared and just all-around delightful. I got the Farmer's breakfast (mushroom omelette) with a side of Beets and Feta. I can honestly say this was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The coffee kept flowing and the entire kitchen action was on display for that extra intimate feel of watching your food being prepared and served. I could be wrong, but I think the owner was our waiter (woman with glasses) and she was so welcoming and sweet. This place is super busy, and I was highly impressed with how the entire staff handled themselves during a very high pressured brunch service.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was uniquely rustic, starting with the table and chairs made of aged wood and medal pipes, to the non-traditional light fixtures and decor. Although busy because of the lunch hour, our wait was not long. I would definitely recommend.

It’s a small space and the wait is long to get a table as well as the food to come out. We came on a Sunday for brunch. I ordered the omelet dish and the pita bread and the butter went well with the dip. The salad was also really good. However the omelet was lacking flavor and was a bit bland. We also got the banana smoothie and that was really good too. Lastly, great music selection.. mostly oldies rock
