Came here for a date night with my boyfriend. Didn’t have to wait too long before we got seated which was great but we got seated in this nook which felt crammed. They told us to sit here but then the table wasn’t cleaned yet. Where we were sitting also had a moldy smell which was a bit bothersome. I think our waitress was having an awful day because she was just awful to us. Gave us attitude, was bothered we were sitting in her section. Spoke to us like we were such nuisance to her and we were so kind and friendly to her! Whenever we needed something like a refill or even the check, she would see us looking for her and pretends she don’t see us and would hide. Took her a long time to get our drinks or our food or our refills. It wasn’t a great experience with her and the atmosphere but the food was great! Salad, breadsticks and soup is always great.

One of the worst parts of traveling with kids is that you can find yourself in one of the best food cities in the world but you're stuck eating at Olive Garden in Time's Square because that's the one place you know they'll eat. And they did eat. Everyone gobbled up their plates of pizza and pasta and I did appreciate the very reasonably priced kids' menu. As for me, I was sort of hoping the food would be secretly good - like an overpriced guilty pleasure. Or at least ironically bad? But it was actually just bad bad. The pasta is overcooked and the sauces were all starting to congeal by the time they arrived at our table. The two bright spots were the five cheese marinara sauce which was quite tasty (albeit served over soggy pasta) and our waitress who was an absolute doll. But everything else had me wondering: Who are all the childless people who seem to be eating at this restaurant by choice?

The service was superb. Our waiter supplied us service with a smile and advice that we took. Fried lasagna was the best lasagna I've ever eaten. Calamari had too much salt. Could have been I eat little to no salt.

Location and view is superb here, but that doesn't mean prices are unreasonable. Salad bowl is refilled at no charge, pasta and calamari were both good. Service was awesome too

The staff are nice and the service is fast. The place has a good atmosphere, but they are doing some renovation so the entrance might be hard to find. There is a small lift for stroller and wheelchair access to the 2nd floor. The food was delicious and served quickly. Parking on the street is difficult because it’s Time Square. Also, you have to pay at least 18% Gratuity on top of the bill.

My advice for all. Dont eat there. This Olive Garden was very disappointing. The Westbury and Queens were the best ones. But this one in Manhattan the food was terrible. The salad I was served it had the bottom brown part of the lettuce as u can see I marked red circle in the picture. Also it tasted funny. Like it wasnt fresh. The Shrimp, Chicken Carbonara pasta was not creamy. It was completely dry food like it was made yesterday and was reheated. My cousins parmesian chicken was completely overcooked. The waiter we had was very slow in a slow business day. He would take his long time to bring food and the check later. I have never had any bad experiences w Olive Garden till I went this one. It literally ruin our day. I filed a complain through the survey on my receipt and requested to get call or email back from their manager since last June 27th. Apparently no manager communication. My advice go to Red Lobster or Dallas bbq the food is way better n the service is more quick.

My fiance and I decided to try into the Olive Garden on Monday. It was my first ever visit to this iconic American chain restaurant. When we arrived, we were warned of a possible wait, but were pleasantly surprised to be seated almost immediately which was great. Our waitress, Jilly, deserves special recognition for her exceptional service. She effortlessly guided us through the menu and ensured our meal was nothing short of perfection. She always ensured our drinks and breadsticks for top top, which was lovely. As for the food, the portions were beyond generous! Free breadsticks and soup were delightful extras, though hardly necessary given the size of the main courses. I opted for the Chicken Parmigiana, while my fiance indulged in the Prawn Alfredo, both of which were bursting with flavor and left us wanting more. Although some may find the food slightly on the salty side, we have found that with most of the food we have eaten here in America and I quite like it. You’re definitely make use of your unlimited refill, soft drinks though as you’ll need to quench your thirst. The value for money was great considering the quality and quantity of food we received. In summary, our first experience at Olive Garden was an absolute delight, thanks to the warm atmosphere, impeccable service, and mouthwatering dishes. It's safe to say we'll be returning for another taste on our next visit to the United States.

The staff were friendly and the breadsticks were delicious. However, my British taste buds were not a fan of the rest of the food. My salad was drowning in dressing and my husband and I both could only pick at our mains. By the time they reached us, we'd already filled up on soup, salad and breadsticks. However, I also found my main (chicken alfredo) to be horrendously rich and it just tasted like pasta covered in cream, which was sickening. I mainly ate the chicken off the top, which was quite bland and disappointing. Very expensive for what it was, although I have found all restaurants in America to be shockingly expensive, particularly after tax and tip.

Came here for a lunch event and was pleasantly surprised with both the food and service. The moment you walk in, you can really feel the vibe and they lead you all the way up to your seat, accommodating however many party members you have. The appetizers we got, the fried seafood platter and the fried calamari, were some of the best I’d ever had. It was surprisingly fresh and the batter was extremely crispy, and paired along with the sauce was just a heavenly combination! Of course the unlimited breadsticks and side salad were great as well and they were very generous on the cheese both on the salad and the entrees. My personal favorite was the shrimp scampi. For dessert, we had some of the tiramisu and it was wonderful. The flavor was great and it was a great serving size, perfect to finish off our meal.

Food are average. I don’t like pasta dough and amount of time they cooked. Sauces are okay. Prices for lunch is reasonable but you can go just to see classics American places you saw in every movie etc. Don’t put any Italian place expectations.

We had lovely dinner at the Olive Garden in Times Square. We came around 7pm just before it became pretty busy and was greeted by two lovely servers. I had a steak with pasta, Blue amalfi cocktail (highly recommend) and a vodka lemonade. It was worth the money on my behalf. They allowed a wine tasting before actually buying any to make sure you liked the bottle which we found very nice. I would definitely return here the food and service was lovely.

Another Happy Family Day. After took my family go around the city, we stopped by Olive Garden and enjoy the meal. Food was good but service was not as I expected. Soup, Salad and pasta potion were in a good amount. Ambiance was fine.

Had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience here!! Our server didn’t even come up to us for 20 mins, then for our waters, we had to wait another 15. Our server was rude, deadpan, and no help at all, after delivering our food, she never came back to our table. Once noticing we were just sitting around waiting and staring around the room, another server helped us close out our check. We explained that we were really displeased with our (cold) food and did not eat any of it aside from the salad, but a manager would not come to our table and correct the mistake. Instead, we were forced to pay for this entire meal that went in the trash (as pictured below, all of this was sent back to kitchen and not replaced or refunded), no drink refills, no service. Truly disappointing and a waste of money. They do say it’s easy to get robbed in New York. Smh

Can't beat those breadsticks! And although we all know it's not authentic Italian, but I still think it's great food. The wait staff is classy and treats you with respect. I always enjoy a trip to Olive Garden Times Square!

I am in love with everything at olive garden. Taste, quantity of food, quality, location, atmosphere, and service. I tried chicken alfredo pasta with chicken gnocchi soup which was 3.5/5 and the soup was 5/5. They offer complimentary soup/ salad and garlic bread

Delighted with our dinner. Afraid that service and food would be sub par due to being in times square but happily surprised and excellent food and service. Even got a window seat looking out at times square when we asked. Our server JinJin was very friendly and very attentive. Had to get us ice bucket for our white wine that could have been a little bit colder. Buy left extremely full and satisfied. We will be back.

I came to try the breadsticks and they are very overrated, too dry. The pasta chicken alfredo was great though and the salad too. We wanted to share the pasta and they gave us each a smaller plate instead of one big plate to eat from, which I thought was really nice. The airconditioning was absolutely freezing (like any other place in NYC during summer). Fast service, kind waiter.

Salad, pasta and soup all delicious. Massive portions. We spent about 40$ per person after tax. Was quite busy during lunch!

The food was very good. My only issue was that for a plate of food that was $30 the salmon piece could have been a tad bit bigger. It was amazingly seasoned and flavorful though. Also, the bread and salad helped to make it a satisfying meal. My daughter had the shrimp Alfredo and Chicken and Gnocchi soup, which she liked very much.

Amazing food, service was 10 out of 10. Jhoana was efficient, quick, pro active and kind. I really enjoyed the experience and recommend to everyone. If you go to NYC, take some time and pass by Olive Garden.

I’m actually not sure what to say other than GO OG! I love me some Olive Garden. This was a humongous restaurant three stories tall. I got chicken parmigiana and enjoyed every bite. If you want some American Italian food and like chain restaurants, this is your place.

  • 4/5 Lujain A. 7 months ago on Google
Highly recommended for pasta lovers! The restaurant has a great selection of pasta dishes. It’s worth noting that they don’t offer pizzas, which is a bit surprising for an Italian restaurant. On the plus side, they provide complimentary salad/soup with bread, adding value to your order.

The place was full. The service was horrible. Came with my family of four and everyone got their food at a different time. The ceiling where we ate was peeling off. My order had shrimp that were too hard to eat. My bread sticks were brought in a napkin and put plain on the table. My mother in law ask for the chocolate and she got the bill instead. Bad service overall. Won't be returning.Te place needs to be cleaned and properly fixed for people to be able to enjoy their meal.

Today (27th March) was my first time visiting Olive Garden. I ordered a Spaghetti & Meatballs to share with my partner. It came with a soup and breadsticks. First off, the meatballs were mostly made out of bread crumbs and the sauce was too sweet; however the pasta was nicely al dente. Secondly, the chicken gnocci soup was insanely salty, I had to dilute it with water to make it edible. The breadsticks were AMAZING!!! Despite the food not being the best, 5 stars to this Olive Garden as our server was so sweet. Her name is Sydney and she was very attentive. I mentioned that I really liked the chocolates and asked if I could get a few more. She returned to my table with a to-go cup filled with chocolates! Thank you so much for such a wonderful first experience at Olive Garden. I won’t be back but just wanted to leave a review on the service I received!

This is a really big Olive Garden that’s very clean. I went here for lunch around 3:00 and there was no lines and lots of empty tables. The staff is very friendly and the prices aren’t bad. They tell you how much you must tip which is the only downside to going here. I would recommend going here but don’t if you don’t want to be forced to pay a tip.

Food was good and affordable, especially given the fact that this restaurant is located on Times Square. Our waiter was kind and took my dietary wishes into account. Dining did feel like a rush. We were expected to leave pretty much right after we had finished our main course (we did not want any desserts). The interior is quite outdated.

As a Canadian, I only heard about Olive Garden in memes so I came in with very low expectations. I must say I was pleasantly surprised, considering we came here out of convenience but it turned out to be an enjoyable experience! Wait time: very little wait time to get seated and many seats available (love the booths for the nice back support) Food: not the best I have ever eaten but I did love my little soup and the other dishes were very decent for the price (pasta, calamari, bead stick). I must say we were shocked to see American entrée sizes, it is certainly bigger than what we are used to lol Service: the staff was super nice, friendly and helpful Overall, I wouldn't say this is a bucket list but if you're in Times Square and you gotta eat, you can't go wrong with Olive Garden

A perfect Italian restaurant… Suitable for all ages and inexpensive. The place is big and spacious, the service is excellent and courteous. The food dishes are large and good. Definitely recommended for a family meal or for anyone who wants to eat well without spending a lot of money. recommended.🇺🇸

The kids the spaghetti but the chicken fingers they didn't like it. The other order was eggplant something, the pasta was good perfect but the fried eggplant had a taste as it fried on old oil. And the last order was "build your own pasta" it was the delicious pasta I had from a while, it was #creamy #mushroom with grilled chicken. I highly recommend the restaurant in the area. #olivesgarden #pasta

A very big area, but As it's crowded, they ask guests to wait OUTSIDE the Restaurant totally, regardless of it's 3 floors, and it could have been a waiting area inside as a respect for guests, and Covid is not an excuse for Kicking people out of the door STANDING till there turn, + PLUS the menu items are more expensive than any other Olive Garden... A lot of Italian restaurants around, with good respect for there guests... Thanks

They told us the wait would take 30 minutes and we were seated after 20. The place is extremely full however the booths offer decent privacy. There’s a lot going on which makes it a little nerve racking to eat comfortably which shouldn’t be the case for a restaurant (it is in the center of Times Square however). The food was ok but the breadsticks are what we came for, eat them fast or they become dry!
