Took the center tour. Did not realize the number of buildings and the art adorning them. Very insightful. Then to the top of the rock. Three observation deck levels. What an amazing view. And, from the very top level, the view is 360. Great way to spend an afternoon in New York City.

It’s absolutely chaotic and the crowds are crazy around Christmas time. One who lives in NYC normally avoids places like this but seeing this damn tree is a magical experience that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Especially when your with kids and it’s their first time, it’s like your enjoying it all over again. If you have t seen the tree at Rockefeller center you have to make a stop and enjoy all the other fun things to do and see in the are just know everyone has the same idea around this time.

Beautiful & historic! It’s not a trip to NYC without seeing Rockefeller! Things to check out: - the actual building itself is beautiful from the outside - The ice skating ring is iconic. - check out inside the plaza! Lots of places to eat & shop out if you take the steps downstairs. - check out the amazing “Chip City” cookie shop downstairs pushing out some of the BEST warm, fresh cookies! - enjoy the scenery

Absolutely beautiful, this was the second time visiting, 1st time was the weekend before Christmas, and it was really busy . I could barely see the tree, and there were a lot of people. This time we went the weekend after New years and it was perfect. Saw the tree from every direction. Even from the shops below. Definitely recommend going after the holidays if possible. It was beautiful. Still quite a few people but not overly crowded.

My wife and I visited NY city a couple last week and went up the fast elevator to see the night view from top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center. The experience was amazing. Night time view of the city was great. All tall buildings around us well lit was fantastic. Another great experience was the way the staff treated us. After I bought two tickets at a cost of about $90, we went to eat and came back to go up the building. I had inadvertently lost the tickets and went to the counter again and showed my receipt. Without a word, Ms. Neilia in sales remembered us and immediately gave us two tickets. That was absolutely wonderful. A gentleman called Abdul (not sure about the name) was also very pleasant. I will remember this for ever. Must visit and night time is amazing. Thanks NY.

Everything from the entrance to the ride to the top was welcoming and impressive. Original art deco finishes still impress. Took a tour, well worth the money. Views are incredible and the three decks though busy were not overly crowded.

Absolutely stunning place and I loved Top of Rock! Once I came back home, it was super exciting to be able to recognize this place in so many movies! The tree is magnificent and the holiday lights make it the perfect place to take beautiful portrait pics! The vibe is also 💯. Do note that there is always gonna be a long line and too much crowd here so your best bet is to either go super early in the morning or stay up super late to get a crowd free pic!

I had the unforgettable experience of visiting Rockefeller Center during Christmas, and it truly lived up to its reputation. The Christmas tree, adorned in all its splendor, served as a breathtaking centerpiece for the festivities, especially with the enchanting ice skating rink below, creating an iconic New York Christmas scene. It's worth noting that the area can get quite crowded, especially during the nightly tree-lighting. To fully capture the beauty of the moment, I recommend finding a good spot ahead of time to ensure an unobstructed view of the illuminated tree. Despite the crowds, the magical ambiance of Rockefeller Center during Christmas is a must-see, making it a cherished memory for any visitor.

I always have fun in New York City, especially when I visit around the holidays. I was surprised to find the normal crowd there this year as we’re still dealing with Covid. It was packed! The tree in Rockefeller Center is magnificent!. I didn’t go to the top of the Rock this visit but if you have never been you should go up. You’ll need plenty of extra time because the lines are long but the views are amazing. If you’re planning on a sit down dinner somewhere make sure you bring your vaccination card. I guess it’s required now? Happy Holidays Everyone!

We, me and my son had a great time yesterday at the Rockefeller Center. Is has been while since the last time I visited it and couldn't wait any longer to take my child to appreciate this beautiful place. Thank God we got to see the Christmas tree before they take it down. This is one of my favorite places to enjoy. I totally recommend it to everyone.

Rockefeller Center, an iconic symbol of New York City, stands as a testament to art, commerce, and innovation. This historic complex, spanning 22 acres in Midtown Manhattan, is a vibrant hub of entertainment, shopping, and culture. Home to the renowned Radio City Music Hall, it hosts the legendary Radio City Christmas Spectacular, captivating audiences with its dazzling performances. The Top of the Rock Observation Deck offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline, while the Rockefeller Plaza, adorned with the famous Prometheus statue, buzzes with activity, especially during the winter when it transforms into a magical ice-skating rink. With its art deco architecture and a rich history, Rockefeller Center remains a must-visit destination, embodying the spirit and energy of New York City.

Great panoramic views of the concrete jungle wet dream tomato. And of course the tree and ice rink below is great to see in person. Lovely staff throughout the whole process too. Windy as hell up top so wrap up! Sadly the beam was closed due to the weather but rightly so on the day we visited.

Amazing views of Manhattan. You can see the Empire State building side and the Central Park side both breathtaking. Also, I like that you have two levels to enjoy the views in a different way. The first level you feel like you are in between buildings... you see all those skyscrapers around you. Also, there is a coffee shop with great pastries, and you can enjoy them while looking at the views. The second level is located on the very top of the building, and you feel like you can see everything from a different perspective! Take a ton of pictures, 360 degrees view of Manhattan. We really enjoy it. The ticket is not cheap, but it is definitely worth it.

Rockefeller Center during the Christmas period is pure magic! The iconic holiday tree, adorned with dazzling lights, creates a festive wonderland. The ice rink below adds to the enchantment, making it a perfect spot for seasonal joy. Tip: Visit in the evening to see the decorations in full glory. The atmosphere is electric, and the holiday spirit is palpable. A 5-star experience, turning Rockefeller Center into a festive masterpiece! 🎄✨

Top of the Rock: Although the wait to get in was unexpectedly long, even for pre-ticketed customers (the ticket says NOT to show up before your scheduled time, which didn't work out well for us), the friendliness of employees and the efficiency of the operation more than made up for it. I was really impressed with how kind and accommodating employees were. I wish I would have gotten the names of people who helped me, because their customer service was outstanding! (One star off for expensiveness.)

This is a must see for any tourist in NYC. The inside of the building is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is extremely friendly and everything is very clean! But that's not the best part! On "The Top Of The Rock" you take a fast elevator ride up to the 67th floor and you exit the elevator to unforgettable and unmatched views of Manhattan. You can see the famous sights such as Central Park, Chrysler Building, One World Trade Center, Empire State Building, and so much more. Pictures don't do this place justice, you just have to see it for yourself!

Amazing place, just beautiful and must see for a first time visit. Top of the rocks is definitely worth it as you can see all of New York and really take it in. We went in the evening to see the sunset, that was amazing. We went up empire state building in the morning and Rockefeller Center in the evening, which was really cool. All service is really good and it goes really fast to go up and down, really well organized.

We heard that some of the best views of the city could be seen from Rockefeller Center so we decided to buy the VIP passes for it. It was so worth it. We got to skip lines, had a private lounge to hang out in before the tour, and had a tour guide to give us info about the building's history. The views were amazing. The tour was amazing, the whole building was beautiful and the experience was perfect. Cannot recommend it enough and if you can afford it get the VIP passes.

Super cool and lively place. It’s always jumping. There are so many things to see and fun places to eat and the city has a rhythm all its own. Each building is interesting to look at, constant foot and car traffic and even fun graffiti to look at. There’s no place like New York!

My personal favourite New York skyline view. At night it is especially incredible. I would recommend the Rockefeller Center over the Empire State Building because you can actually see the Empire State Building from it, which I think is an essential part of the skyline. I would personally highly recommend going here for a night view, and going to The Edge for a day view Wait time wasn’t too bad. Maybe 20 min. Definitely buy tickets online in advance

A phenomenal view of New York City. You can free book your tickets online with ease. The top floors have restaurants, cocktail bars, and the glass balcony (of course) from which you can marvel at the skylines while sipping a drink with your friends and family. I recommend doing it at night to enjoy the lights of the skylines.

Rockefeller center is absolutely beautiful!! Coming from out of town this is a must see! The Christmas tree and ice rink look amazing! Coupled with pretty blue skies and crisp January air. What better way to experience New York other than watching home alone! Make sure to spot by some of the food carts and get a nice warm pretzel before a short walk up 5th Ave to Central Park!

It is always nice to visit the "Top of the Rocks". Usually there no long waiting times. Whenever I have been there I could walk straight to the elevators to the top. On top you can decide if you want to stay in the warm and not windy inside or go one floor higher and visit NYC 360°. The view is amazing. You can see the Central Park, Hudson- and Eastriver, and the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center. I would recommend visiting short before it gets dark so you have the view with the daylight and all the enlighted buildings.

Going to New York is synonymous of this place, specially if you are going in the Christmas - New Years Eve holidays! This is such a beautiful building and complex, there is too much history in this place. I am pretty sure that you will recognize every corner with some of the movies you might watched. Going in the winter season will allow you to ice skating the Rockefeller’s ring, just underneath their Christmas tree; this is a magical and remarcable experience, go for it! They also have two very nice restaurants next to the ring where you can eat and enjoy the day or night watching the skaters. This place has to be in your New York’s bucket list 💪 100% recommended 👍

I highly recommend the guided tour or to read about the building before visiting. There are 3 platforms to got to, each offering great views over the city. Take some time to visit the building and admire the art. If you don't want to pay for the view there's a lot to see downstairs, for free.

I attended the today show. It was fantastic. 30 Rock also did not disappoint. I truly enjoyed the art deco design and the vast complex that is Rockefeller Center. The shopping was great as well as the excellent selection of restaurants. Everyone should add Rockefeller Center to any NYC trip as it is a fantastic historic landmark.

Iconic plaza and building to visit in New York City! The plaza and building lobby are free to visit. In the plaza you can admire all of the flags and the skating rink. Bonus, if you go into the lobby of the Rockefeller Center building you can observe a huge and amazing mural by Mexican Artist Diego Rivera. This building is also famously the home of NBC, and many of its shows tape here. (Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live, etc.)

Visiting Rockefeller Center during the pandemic brought a renewed sense of awe and appreciation. Despite having been there many times before, the experience felt special and different. The familiar sights, like the iconic Prometheus statue and the bustling plaza, now held a unique charm in the quieter atmosphere. It was heartening to witness people coming together, maintaining safe distances, and adhering to safety guidelines. The spirit of resilience and unity was palpable, making the visit to this beloved landmark even more memorable. Rockefeller Center's enduring allure, combined with the prevailing sense of hope, made it a truly special and unforgettable moment during these challenging times.

The Rockefeller Center This one for me was a chance to get some more awesome pictures of New York City. “Top of The Rock” certainly delivered My Son and I visited the store and surrounding building prior to our visit. To be honest I only knew of the center due to the views that are not attainable from the Empire State Building, Both buildings compliment each other, in some case you see what you couldn’t from the Empire State Building. If that sounds right. Like all great things in New York you only find out more once you visit. The Rockefeller Center offers a lot more than just the views. Find dining, fashion. If I return I’d take the tour as a way to be informed more. We loved our visit and no complaints. Security checkpoint experience was fast and to reach “The Top of The Rock” was certainly worth our visit and the reaction from me and my Son, all smiles. Thank you too all

Love the ROCK! One day I will get to taking a rour of some of the cool spaces within the building! It is just a magnificent site and something to definitely visit while in NYC. The gardens are beautiful and that roller skating arena is always alive especially into the evenings. Cannot comment on actually going into the Rockefeller Center, but we went to see it twice, once on a Friday night and once during the day. On the Friday night there were lots of people rollerskating with music playing, very pretty area with lights lit up in the trees. During the day a member of staff was happy to pose for a photo, he was lovely and friendly and full of information.

Rockefeller Center is a nice plaza set between intriguing architecture. During our trip, the plaza was under construction, so it left much to be desired. We were also approached by a woman (addict) who proceeded to follow our family for blocks. I understand these two things will happen anywhere. I hope to visit again during the holiday season!

An absolutely mesmerizing place to be. Visited here for the first time and it’s so lovely. The size of the Christmas tree though, wooooo! Unfortunately I missed the bog light up for this year but nevertheless, Saks Off the Fifth had a great show of their lights. If I can describe this in one word, I’d say ‘breathtaking!’ Recommend this place for your winter sightseeing venture especially if you’re not from New York.

So many fun things to see and do! Start by shopping the edges with FAO Schwartz and a few others, and then sit and people watch at the rink! Roller skating in summer and ice skating in the winter. They even have a roller derby team! You can grab some coffee or food easily and enjoy a great afternoon. If you prefer you can go to the city winery bar and have wine on tap!

View from Top of the Rock was magnificent! But the place where you watch it from is not that good. It's fully open, and if it's chilly, you are cold. When I went, it wasn't fully constructed, there was a lot of unused place. They can make at least a small souvenir shop at the top or a small bar for drinks. Since there is nothing else to do rather than watching the view, it's overcrowded and it can be a challenge to find yourself a good spot, especially at peak hours from 6pm to 7, 7 30pm. And if you go to the upper side - really windy - so bring a jacket. I got a small cold after being exposed to the cold wind at sunset. Oh, and it's kinda hard to find where to go in order to go to the Top of the rock - maybe some more signs for better guidance.

I’ve been to the top of the rock 4 times, it went from smooth to a below average experience in a couple of months. It will really depend on the time of the year and crowdedness at the time. But it definitely does have better views than Edge & One World. I would say Summit Vanderbilt has an overall better experience and the same views!

A visit to New York City isn’t complete without stopping by the iconic Rockefeller Center. This landmark is not just about its famous Christmas tree or the NBC studios; it’s a bustling hub of culture, history, and entertainment. As you approach the center, the grandeur of the Art Deco buildings takes your breath away. The attention to detail in the architecture and the sculptures, like the famous Prometheus statue, is awe-inspiring. The Top of the Rock observation deck is a highlight. The 360-degree views of the city skyline, including the Empire State Building and Central Park, are spectacular, especially at sunset. It’s a photographer’s paradise. Shopping and dining options are abundant. From high-end boutiques to unique gift shops, there’s something for everyone. The dining experiences range from casual bites to upscale restaurants, all offering great quality and service. During winter, the ice skating rink is a magical experience, whether you’re on the ice or just watching from the sidelines. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony is a festive event that brings together locals and tourists in a delightful celebration. The staff and guides throughout Rockefeller Center are friendly and informative, adding to the enjoyable experience. It’s a place where you can feel the pulse of New York City and its rich history. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rockefeller Center, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the iconic beauty of this historic landmark. From ice skating at the famous rink to taking in breathtaking views from the Top of the Rock observation deck, there's something for everyone to enjoy. I particularly loved exploring the stunning art deco architecture and learning about the center's rich history through informative exhibits. The atmosphere at Rockefeller Center is simply magical, especially during the holiday season when the iconic Christmas tree is lit up, spreading joy and cheer to visitors from around the world. The bustling shops and restaurants add to the festive ambiance, making it a perfect spot for shopping and dining. Overall, my visit to Rockefeller Center exceeded all expectations. The combination of its beauty, history, and lively atmosphere made it a truly memorable experience that I can't wait to revisit. Whether you're a tourist or a local, I highly recommend making a trip to Rockefeller Center. It’s an absolute gem in the heart of New York City.

Depending on why you are here is how you'll most likely review it haha. My last reason for court. It was fast and efficient, got me out of these within minutes. The building itself is quite nice, I love old architecture, something you don't see very often in the island

The service to pay for my impound fee was very fast and professional. The service to receive my release paper was uncomfortably slow. The officer was not at all understanding or forgiving of my situation and made me feel like a criminal.

I was able to get tickets last minute to go to the 70th floor for "Top of the Rock" and see New York City from up high. I went with my then boyfriend (now husband!) and it was amazing!! Then we did the Rockefeller Center Tour, and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2-hour tour looking at the beautiful sculptures, paintings, and structures on site. I didn't realize this is a museum! My only criticism is that the tour could be cheaper, and anybody could just walk around by themselves (for free) and visit all the sites if they know where to go. It was my first visit to NYC and my first attraction and I was loving it!

Very polished and sophisticated charm with a blend of vintage and modern details. Fabulous dining and shopping can occupy an entire day. The building is very large with multiple floors. I suggest you pick up a map or write down directions or you may get lost.

Rockefeller center is one of the famous landmarks in New York city. The plaza is free to visit and always have something on display. At this time of the year, it's the Halloween decorations. If you wish to go to the top of the building, there is a ticket and you will have to pay

I went on Christmas Day at 9pm to see the tree. It was very crowded but everyone was in good spirits and wearing masks. We took our pictures and went back to the hotel. It truly looks just as magical as they make it look in the movies!

  • 5/5 Steve F. 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely beautiful building with so much history! Lots of shops and skating in the winter. The Christmas decorations are so gorgeous and the views from top of the rock are the best from any observation deck in NYC in my opinion

  • 4/5 Sarema P. 2 years ago on Google
Went to walk around, the place was very clean. They have a nice ice skating ring. Also I think there is normally a warm seating area or restaurant but it was close when I went. Not a lot to see but during this time they still have the trees lighted up so for pictures it’s pretty.

  • 4/5 Michael M. 2 years ago on Google
Always wanted to see the Rockefeller tree & skating rink. Even with covid soaring, place was incredibly packed 2 days before Christmas, although I'd guesstimate 90% were masked except when removing it for photos. Overall impression is that the tree was pretty, had to be huge b/c of its location. Didn't skate, but Ice rink seemed tiny from above. Glad we saw it, but probably don't need to see it again.

  • 5/5 Shawn S. 1 year ago on Google
This place is quite amazing. It offers a quick elevator ride or two up to the top of the building, which gives an amazing view, especially at night! However, if it is a cold day or night, you may find yourself freezing up there, dress warmly!!! 🥶⛄ It is evidently also very windy, based on the last picture of this post.

  • 5/5 Angela M. 1 year ago on Google
One of NYC favorite attractions!! So much fun!!!! Great for families, the employees at the rink are very professional and always willing to answer questions and help if you need anything!!! Definitely one of the best Ice skating rinks, there is no need to be an expert on the skates all levels are welcome! Something else I really like about this place is that it is very organize to make your experience smooth, from buying the tickets, to picking up and returning the skates, bathrooms, free lockers and lots of employees to guide you in the facility. If you enjoy the crow visit at night time, but if you want to avoid the large group of people, I also recommend to plan the visit making sure you don’t go during peak hours since it not only gets really packed but also the price of the tickets may increases and the wait time can be long.

  • 5/5 Ben B. 1 year ago on Google
3rd visit to NYC & the Rockefeller, and it's the 3rd change in scenery I've seen. An art group has an odd/amusing display of clothing hung all around the center, but all of the decor and plants between each bustling alley have changed. I've enjoyed getting to visit and have a very different view and experience each time I come!

  • 3/5 Bharath K R. 1 year ago on Google
Arrangements were good, wait during the queue for a 5 min video about the building is intentional. I went there during the night and only felt okayish! I felt the cost was higher to the view it gives you.it is a open deck too so plan to wear warm clothes during the night visit.

Very cool to see an iconic spot. Spent $40 a person to go to the “top of the rock” and it was totally worth it. Amazing to see the city from such a good view. A little expensive, but worth it. I would highly recommend it.

Really good views across Manhattan in all directions. We originally had tickets for a day when it was raining but we were able to exchange them. It was very easy to do so by asking at the ticketing desk and I'm really glad we did. Fortunately the day and time we swapped too was sunny and had good visibility providing excellent views across the city.

Rockefeller Center is an absolute must-visit in NYC! The breathtaking Art Deco architecture and towering skyscrapers leave you in awe. From ice skating in winter to the Top of the Rock observation deck, this iconic landmark offers an unforgettable experience. Simply magical!

  • 5/5 Michelle S. 10 months ago on Google
Great views of the city. Recommend going about 30 minutes before sunset. This gives a great opportunity to see New York by day, the beautiful New York sunset and watch the city light up after dark. Be warned though that getting down if there's a big crowd is a nightmare. There was lots of pushing and shoving to get on the escalator and things could definitely be more be organized.

Going to Rockefeller Center was amazing! The building is so impressive, and its history fascinated me. The Top of the Rock observation deck has stunning views of New York City's skyline. Make sure to check out the beautiful art, shops, and ice-skating rink. It's a must-see place in the center of Manhattan!

  • 5/5 Tony S. 7 months ago on Google
Fantastic tourist destination when friends visit from out of town. I prefer Top of the Rock to the Empire State Building, pretty much the same view but your pictures have the iconic Empire State Building in them. Also the wait to go to the top is considerably shorter. We waited 15 minutes here as opposed to about 1 hour at the Empire State. The plaza and the skating rink are iconic, the murals, the art deco buildings and artworks are astounding, St Patrick's cathedral across the street, Radio City right around the corner, Times Square and Grand Central Station a few blocks away! That's the most bang you get for your tourist buck!... Nothing says NYC better!

This was my first trip to New York City and I was in complete awe. Rockefeller Center felt magical. It's difficult to put the feeling into words, but wow. It was beautiful, the shops were great, and the atmosphere was incredible.

  • 4/5 Tracy T. 7 months ago on Google
Top of the Rock has amazing views but is a little poorly executed. I think too many people are allowed up at a time. It can be hard to get a good view because people get a spot at the railing and then don’t move. You have to wait for everyone’s photo shoots to be over to see the view. When I was here, there was a large group of international students who didn’t care about it and were basically just camped out, sitting on the ground on their phones in front of the camera rail. A bunch of teenage girls who took up a lot of space on the railing while sitting on the ground and facing the wall. The employees did ask them to stand up but the students just continued to sit back down. It’s on the pricey side once you add the “twilight fee” (55/adult plus taxes… about $60) and the senior discount is just $2 cheaper. However, it can’t be debated that the views are incredibly and something you may want to do once. See if you can find a deal!

  • 5/5 John M. 7 months ago on Google
I would have gone in to get a better sense of the place, but they have locked out the writers. This makes the statues glorifying the actual people doing the work to prop up the film and TV industry kind-of-fake. I look forward to the BOSSES recognizing who makes the glorious TV and film we all love.

  • 4/5 Jonathan M. 6 months ago on Google
Such and amazing place. You feel important just walking in. The views are stunning. It could use a bit of a face lift. The decor is looking dated.

Everytime I went to New York, I would go to Rockefeller Center. It is one of the iconic places of NY, a city within NY city. Don't miss the observation deck. From there you can have an impressive view of the city. Also, take a look of the all the famous sculptures.

One of the most iconic and representative spots of the opulence and wealth of New York city. In winter the famous ice skating rink operates, in summer it is used for roller skating. All around, you will find the stores of famous, expensive, luxurious brands.

  • 4/5 Gio C. 6 months ago on Google
We went to go roller skating but it was very packed and very expensive. Still was fun have some ice cream and sit to watch everyone. Close proximity to a great Korean restaurant and plenty of other food options too. Enjoy! 🤙🏻

My first time in New York City and I have to admit it is one of my best experiences ever. Everything was truly amazing, from the lights, high buildings, beautiful structures and simply the scenery. Everyone is just enjoying and living the moment. Witnessing The famous Rockefeller Christmas Tree was amazing 😍🤩

Beautiful square where they are putting up the Christmas decorations. The tree is up for 2013 with the lights and decorations to come shortly. The fountain right across has been decorated beautifully with angels and lights. Another wonderful place to visit while in NYC.

This place was amazing and a lot bigger than I ever imagined. We went for the ice skating. To be honest, the rink was a lot smaller than I was expecting. But the event was smooth and workers were nice. Loved that there were lockers to put your things.

Top of the Rock was to is quite embarrassing. We waited 30 Minutes outside until we got access to the ticket counter. As owner if New York passes we were treated like second class (as I mentioned this to the clerk he just said: Yes!) The clerk offered us access 2 days later late in the evening. After discussing he found a slot 2 days later around noon. Quite bad so far. On access day we went to the venue and waited 25 Minutes. Them we were processed and it took another 30 Minutes to get into the elevator. Having reached the top it is nice as it is quite in the center of Manhattan. Finally the experience at the TotR got worse as it took one (!j hour to get down to the ground. Knowing it now, I think is better and easier to go to edge. There it was fast, much nicer and no problem being a holder of a New York Pass. PS: Beam experience is 20US-$ when I wrote this (9/12/2023).

The giant tree was pretty spectacular, filled with bright lights. Ice skaters added to the holiday feel. The only thing missing is snow. Don’t forget to visit the displays at Saks’. They were mind-blowing. Even on a Monday night, the crowd was shoulder to shoulder.

  • 5/5 Philip K. 3 months ago on Google New
Went on a Saturday evening and it was extremely busy! While being busy, I would have to admit, the people were just fine. There is enough of a police presence to feel safe and we had a great time. I was shocked at the "lack of" homeless people or pan handlers, I think they clear them out of the area for these times.

  • 4/5 Diana A. 3 months ago on Google New
It was nice, probably better at night. You get the full effect of the lights, but it would be more crowded. The tree looks so big on TV, but when you are close up, it looks smaller because of the height of the nearby building. The ice rink is much smaller than what it seems on TV and in the movies. The day we went, the elevator to the rink level was not working, so we could not go down as our friend uses a walker.

  • 4/5 Jonathan L. 3 months ago on Google New
Always great to see during the holiday season but be mindful that there are a lot of people and sometimes some areas are fenced off. But if you are a New York during Christmas time or the month of December, it is a place to go and see and take some pictures. You would not be disappointed. Other great places to see are the Smithsonian museums with the lines and stuff with the giant reef that they put around them.

  • 4/5 Zack H. 3 months ago on Google New
*Christmas Time Review* This place is great all around. During the Christmas Holiday this area is jam packed with very little walking room as people come to see the tree and lights on 5th. Would definitely recommend doing it, just be prepared for the large amount of tourists.

  • 4/5 CJ G. 3 months ago on Google New
Fun place to be during Christmas but didn't quite have the same feel without the big tree being lit up. Plenty of other trees and decorations. My visit was later and short lived but had a great time.

  • 5/5 Stuart B. 3 months ago on Google New
Obviously, the best time of year to visit this place is December, but if you are there any other time, it is still a must place to visit. The Art Deco styling is some of the best you will see. It is very busy as expected but there are plenty of things to see and no shortage of places to eat.

The Rockefeller Center Christmas celebration is a magical experience that captures the festive spirit of the holiday season. The towering Christmas tree, adorned with thousands of twinkling lights, creates a dazzling centerpiece. The ice-skating rink adds to the enchantment, providing a joyful atmosphere for visitors of all ages. The surrounding decorations and the annual lighting ceremony contribute to the sense of wonder, making it a cherished tradition for families and friends. The festive ambiance and iconic setting make the Rockefeller Center Christmas celebration a truly special and memorable event.
