I booked Park Central for an overnight stay in NYC with a friend. Our experience was sub-par and did not match the hotel pricing. We paid way too much for what we got as an experience. There was a long wait to check in. I tried to use the hotels app for remote check in, which did not work. Once we got to the counter the staff was friendly and apologized or the wait. When we got to our room, it was not as clean as it should have been. There was hair in the bathroom sink and tub which made me wonder how well everything else had been cleaned. The iron in our room did not work. I called the front desk for a replacement and they were very professional. We had a replacement iron in about half an hour. There was a long wait for check out. It was Sunday morning and there was only 1 agent at the front desk trying to service a line full of people. Overall, I think the staff was doing the best they could but it's clear that they need more support to keep things running smoothly.

Older hotel, staff accommodating, especially concierge. Room good size, large closet. Had iron, ironing board and safe. Central Market had ample snacks and drinks, hours 6 to 6. We had been told in advance of elevator work in progress, service elevator was used several times. Very nice lounge. Would stay again.

The hotel was okay at best, good location but very small bathroom. I was showering and then was covered in rust because of their hot water unit. I spoke to the staff who advised they would waive the resort fees. When time of checkout we were charged, we questioned it but now it’s been nearly three weeks and we still haven’t received our security hold. I’ve made many calls and they assure me it’s been processed, not sure what bank takes 3 weeks?

After reading the reviews on here I didn't really know what to expect, all I can say is that some people really pick on the smallest things. I thought this hotel was perfect value for money. After staying in the city 8/9 years ago I was very surprised with how this compared. The hotel itself was modern and clean the room more better than expected. Big compared to what I had before, the bed was so comfy! The bathroom was clean and updated so issue with water pressure or temperature. I would highly recommend and I will be staying here again when I go back!

Great location and room qualities for anew York City, however they didn’t disclose the “facilities fee” with us at the time of check in. I specifically asked the gentleman the checked us in for the exact costs associated with our stay and they mentioned the $100 refundable deposit, but no mention of a $38/nigh facility fee. I was very frustrated when I saw the receipt and spoke with the manager and they did apologize but ultimately said they couldn’t change anything. I would’ve left a much better review had the management been more transparent about what they actually charge. Otherwise it’s a great hotel.

Great hotel. The service here was great and the bar and restaurant are open! Had the wings that were just the right amount of crispy. The cocktails were unique and delicious. The rooms are beautiful and the housekeeping staff is so friendly. If we come back to NY we’ll definitely stay here again. The location is phenomenal. I can’t say enough nice things about this place.

A great hotel. The best feature is the location… just a few steps from Central Park. The bar is cool, offering delicious cocktails, and the staff are kind. The only drawback is the number of elevators; one is not enough. They should have at least three. I'll be back. Be careful, they have strict policies against smoking. We don't smoke, but I've heard of guests being charged because the smoke detectors were triggered during their stay.

This was our second visit to NYC. This time, with out daughter and niece to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We booked a few months ago for 4 nights and didn’t know what to expect considering it was our first time actually staying in the city. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! From the moment we checked in, we were well taken care of. We did have a room that had an ac that was having trouble cooling our room down but the staff was more than accommodating to make sure we were comfortable which included a new room - that they upgraded unexpectedly! We had a view of Times Square and it was everything my daughter could have dreamed of. She’s wanted to see the “big city with all the lights” for a while. Anything we needed, they delivered. We parked our vehicle in a parking garage and we decided the last two days of our trip to take a car to places that were further than what we wanted to walk back from at night. The bell captain was extra helpful with taking care of getting us a private car twice and both were reasonably priced. All we had to do was give him the time we needed to leave and our destination. The elevator buttons worked for us - you have to use your hotel room card to be able to choose a floor. Some of the buttons don’t light up, but that didn’t stop us from getting to and from our floor. We will 100% choose this hotel again when we come back to beautiful NYC! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

So listen, I got a pretty decent deal on this hotel using a third party site and the location is great. Easy to get uptown or down, plenty of eats, convenience, etc. I was prepared for the elevator situation based on other reviews. I was not prepared for how draining it would be standing around/cramped in the elevator with all the unprepared guests. They were (reasonably) grumpy and I’m not crazy about being surrounded by grumpy people every time I need to come and go. Waiting to go up was pretty annoying, waiting to go down was impossible. If you have to be somewhere at a certain time, good luck. The room itself: Musty/humid. My allergies started acting up right away - usually a sign of mold. No bathroom fan. If anyone needed to *go*, the rest of us had to sit in the stink for a while. Same goes for shower humidity. Shampoo and conditioner were empty. Only one hook to hang towels (there were four of us) Bathroom lighting is really bad. I didn’t do much makeup but I don’t think I would have been able to do full coverage without looking like a clown. And right before we left, my son found a silverfish in his bed. Fun!

My family and I had a wonderful three night stay at Park Central. When we arrived, I was excited and happy to hear some great music when I stepped out of the car. I love dancing and began to move to the music. The doorman joined in and we laughed and smiled our way into the hotel. Emanuel checked us in and helped with our requests. He was friendly efficient and professional. I love the fresh and fragrant lobby area. My room was comfortable, clean and nice!! I enjoyed time sitting in the lobby and bar area as well. I love staying here when we travel to New York. It's a great location and I enjoyed my time.

Recently stayed at Park Central Hotel, we had the best stay. It was away from the noise, rooms were big, beds were super comfortable just what you need after walking around. No issues with the lifts. Bathroom was clean and tidy, I can't fault it, the only thing was missing was a mini fridge which would be ideal.to keep drinks and food cool. Apart from that everything was brilliant, definitely would stay here again

Many problems with the hotel room The toilet kept flushing. Twice, in the evening, the craftsman came with a long wire and unclogged it. Of course the toilet didn't smell nice after that. It was something very natural for them, they didn't even apologize. It should be emphasized that of course no one threw papers in the basin and we often used the toilet on the ground floor, behind the elevator. Shower broken, water was running from its cable and it was raining all over you! Cold air was coming out of the fan coil all night. They never made that either. After the above, when I asked to change the room because it was dark and only saw a wall in the dark light, I was told by the reception that the difference we would need to pay was 100 euros per day or 200 per day for a suite of 4 people. This was not the case as I asked others in the group and they said their room was facing the street at no extra charge, it just happened. There was no refrigerator in the room, although there was one in the hotel facilities. In closing, I would like to say the only thing! plus thing was the very convenient location to walk to times square and central new york in general.

Great location and service! The location cant be any better than this and even though it is a very busy hotel everything works perfectly! What I would change is that the cleaning staff should not leave the lights on after entering the rooms! We make every effort to save energy and always made sure the light were off when leaving our rooms only to find EVERYTHING on when we returned at night! Apart from that suggestion it is an amazing choice for your stay in NY!

Stayed last weekend for 3 nights. It was fine, not great. Excellent location. Great bartender. Very very very sloooooow elevators and it appeared they would often turn one of them off either to save electricity or maintenance, so only one would be working, causing a long frustrating lines. No apologies or particular interest by staff in doing anything about it. Room was fine. Price was good.Hotel does not have a restaurant, just a little store on the main floor that has various things to eat and drink to go. Be wary of any reviews that reference the restaurant in this hotel, they have not operated a restaurant for awhile. Good bike rental place right next door, Fancy Apple, best way to see the city in my opinion.

Beautiful facility, very clean, excellent service. The location is perfect for folks looking to enjoy the city. Within walking distance to Times Square, Central Park, and a short taxi ride to lower Manhattan. Staff was excellent and I really enjoyed the bar on the main floor. It’s been a while since I’ve been in a hotel that has made me feel at home while traveling. Thankful for looking into and staying at Park Central.

The customer service was really nice. I made a booking for one room few minutes before 12 midnight but the other 2 rooms was not able to push thru. The customer service said she will indicate that we will arrive before 1 am and will indicate that we still need two rooms. Upon arrival, the manager and the front desk was able to accommodate all of us. The location is great since diner and stores were just few blocks away. The rooms were fine too. The only problem we had was the elevator issue. There is only one elevator working. I remember using their service elevator (which was advised by one of their staff) . If you are in the rush then it's probably a huge problem. Otherwise, our stay in this hotel was great.(The photo was taken from our window.)

Great location. Lots to eat around the hotel and just a short walk to time square. Our tv, phone, and main lamp in the room were not working. We were there for only 2 nights and didn’t spend much time in our room so we didn’t feel it necessary to ask to swap rooms. We did get charged with a smoking fee in our room for almost $600 although none of us in the room are smokers of any kind. The First Lady we talked about the issue with was extremely rude and was not willing to work with us about the fees. She showed us when the detectors in our room “detected smoke” & it was at a time when we were not even at the hotel. When asking them to look at their cameras to see what time we walked in the hotel (we knew almost to the minute we arrived back) she claimed they didn’t work. We finally asked to speak to someone else. Emanuel was beyond helpful!! He listened to us patiently while we made our complaints and was extremely accommodating, understanding and willing to work with us. He was kind and easy to talk to. If you so stay here I would ask for him for anything you need.

Never disappoints! I have been staying here every time I visit the city for 20 years. The location is perfect. Close to theaters, Times Square, Central Park, Subway and many restaurants. The service is friendly & the price is just right. The rooms are not huge. But the beds are comfy and all of the amenities are there . We arrived early in the morning after a red eye flight. They let us check in early and we were most appreciative! Highly recommend.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your stay. They compare countless booking websites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you definitely won't be let down. Nice hotel. Location can’t be beat. Staff was courteous. Would definitely stay there again.

We just had the most deplorable experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. We stayed at this hotel for 6 days last week. Due to a family emergency , we had to fly out within hours on our last day and we paid one of the bell people a hefty tip and notified him we’d be leaving our extra suitcases for a few extra days. He gladly took the money and said nothing more. The back of the luggage ticket EXPLICITLY states that the hotel can hold bags up to ten days. Tonight we went back. It’s been seven days. What a MESS. The bell man was so disgustingly rude. He said he’d have to CHARGE US to get our suitcases back. The female manager stepped in and was kind and informed us they typically shouldn’t hold bags and the original man who took our luggage shouldn’t have allowed it. She said we’d be getting our bags back at no charge. She’s the only good part of the story. 30 minutes later the security man (African American , short , chubby and bald ) I didn’t get his name brings our bags- says THIS ISNT A STORAGE UNIT and proceeds to call us the F slur under his breath. something you’d call a gay person. I was appalled. I flicked him off and he flicked me off in return. This hotel is disgusting. The service is horrible and this staff belongs in a motel 6 at best. DO NOT stay here and trust ALL the bad reviews…. Unless you enjoy waiting an hour for an elevator to get to your room.

Room was great and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone here is polite. Location is close to everything. Only reason I gave it four stars was a fact that they're elevator (yes only had one )did not work very well and we had to use the service elevators each time.

Loved the hotel and the staff! Stayed in a gorgeous renovated suite - spacious and well appointed. Fun TV in the mirror in the bath. Lovely lounge on the 26th floor - perfect for after theater cocktail. Very well situated - quick walk to Times Square, great restaurants in the area, and steps from Central Park. The staff were all so accommodating and quick to help. Easy bag storage and valet parking. Lost a star for poor water pressure and lack of hot water (only got warm). But highly recommend.

I love this hotel… the last time I was there was before Covid… But we plan to stay there again next year.. the location is great.. everything „important“ is super super close! Central Park is just around the corner! The hotel is looks great, it is clean and the staff is always super kind!!! We really like the size of the rooms! Only thing I would love to have is a microwave.. that would be the cherry on the cake! ❤️❤️

The perfect location in New York. Great hospitality from the moment we entered the hotel. It was so clean and the staff was happy to help. The room is nice and comfy. Price was very affordable. The place were perfectly made for younger and also older people. We will definitely be back here with my family again. Had a really great time.

The room was spacious and delightful. Four (!) grab bars in the shower. Of course the location speaks for itself but the fixtures in the room and bath were topnotch. Comfortable bed. This will be out go-to hotel when we don't feel like driving home after a show and dinner. Only gripe: check-in was slow. Clearly understaffed.

Stayed recently and it’s a great hotel for being central to everything. It’s noisy due to its location. All the staff were great with us. they allowed us to move rooms in the middle of the night. Marcia was on reception (she was amazing and gave us several room change options; we ended up on the 18th which was quiet and slept well! So thank you Marcia). Room was clean, bed was comfy and shower great. It’s just along the street from Central Park, five minutes from Broadway and the Premier Deli next door does a fantastic breakfast/lunch. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room though which is a shame and like all NY hotels there’s that room tax that’s added at the end of your stay; not a cheap holiday but couldn’t knock it; our experience was great.

Location is great, staff all friendly. lobby area is fantastic but the rooms on the other hand are quite shocking compared to lobby area. Rooms are very dated and in need of a good clean. The lift service is a joke!!. These are just a few pictures from the room.

The hotel is pretty good and also in great location. The only problem is with the elevators which are very very slow and there are only 2 in use for more than 20 floors. In the rush hours you can wait sometimes 15 min to get into the elevator. You should take that into consideration if you come for important meetings. Not mentioning social distancing in covid times.

Stayed here for 9 nights while visiting for my wife to run in the New York Marathon. We were part of a large group and overall we were happy enough, however will state the issues we had. On the positive Most staff were great (except one, refer below), and the doorman was excellent. Our request for a fridge and kettle for the room was also received quickly which was terrific. On the negatives. When we booked, we had asked for a high floor, but ended up on the 4th floor, which was extremely noisy. Like so many others the lifts are a big issue. Only one lift would stop on our floor when going down, so ended up mostly walking up and down the stairs, for my wife after the marathon, this was not pleasant or having to use the service lifts, which often smelled which was not pleasant. The AC does not go low enough, so we had to open the window, which we could not leave open at night due to noise, so ended up having to wear ear lugs to sleep with window slightly open. Lighting is terrible, we had to use the lights on our phones to see sometimes. Lastly, having one staff member point at the Tip section of a bill is frankly rude. If we wish to give a Tip for good service we do, but to have someone who gave at best average service and then point to the Tip section, well, they didn't get a Tip after that. Would we stay here again, maybe as long as the issues are sorted, but with so many options about, we would consider others also.

I will consider staying there again after they have a full suite of functioning elevators. Two elevators for a hotel this size are not sufficient. I know that they also offer the use of the service elevator, but that dumps you out deep in the bowels of the hotel - not anywhere near the lobby.

Lots of people complaining about the slow elevators which, yes, are a slight inconvenience. But I came here to rave about the staff- every last one we’ve encountered thus far has been lovely. From speedy maintenance workers to help cool our room down, to the sweet woman offering to service our room after the usual time, we’ve been well taken care of. I wish I had gotten their names!

Lots of reviews complaining about the elevators seem to be overblown - the most we waited for elevators was 3-4 minutes, and only at check-out time on a Sunday. Very centrally located, clean, safe, just lacking a little bit of attention to detail in the rooms (some damage, felt a little dated, chips on doors, etc.) but nothing major. They stored our baggage for free before check-in as well as after check-out, which was very helpful.. and all staff interactions were top notch. Highly recommend!

This was my first time in New York so I don't have other hotels in this area to compare to. Great location, easy to access subway, Broadway, plenty of restaurants. Rooms were basic, no fridge, microwave, etc. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful but the rooms need a thorough deep cleaning. Stains on the carpet and walls and lots of dust in corners. Water pressure in shower was a trickle. Not a bad place to stay but could use a little work.

The room was very nice. It was spacious for anywhere let alone NYC. The beds were very comfortable except for the pillows. They were flat and not great. The towels were fluffy and the room was very clean. The elevators are slow and one was down part of the time. They didn't have too many people working the front desk so the wait was very long to check in. The Chrome cast on our TV didn't work. While this wasn't a big deal, it would have been nice to watch something while relaxing before our next adventure. We asked for a coffee maker no less than 5 times. We're still waiting for it. The doorman/bellman was fabulous. He was great at getting us taxis. He even came into the lounge to let us know our limo to the airport had arrived. Park Central needs to keep him at all costs. He more than makes up for the lack of the coffee maker.

Stayed here last week. The hotel is old, but the rooms are updated, clean and relatively nice, but...lacking the amenities that most people expect in a modern hotel. No refrigerator, coffee maker or microwave. The bathroom is tiny. Hot water takes forever. Also take a light bulb...seriously! The lighting in the room is HORRIBLE, can barely see in the room. The light over the shower was the brightest in the room. There is a sticker on the front door showing the energy efficiency rating of the hotel per NYC guidelines. I think they put in very low output LED lights to get the high efficiency rating! Great for the rating, but not practical for the guests. I might consider staying here again, but not if I have a good alternative.

Only one elevator was working. Had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for an elevator. There was no microwave in the room and one was not available for guests to use. No coffee pot or coffee in room for guests. The hotel was nice and clean. Good Location .

No heat upon arrival. There was already a space heater in the room, so it appeared to be an existing problem. When I went to call front desk to advise them, the phone did not work. I finally called from my cell, and a very nice maintenance worker came and fixed it. It worked that evening only. We used the space. heater for the remaining 3 nights. No Chromecast on the TV, though it shows it as an option. Weird conference room chair at the desk, not an office chair as pictured. No bathmat or bar soap for shower. Elevator extremely slow, only one running for the entire hotel. All the staff was very nice and responsive to all requests. It is just unfortunate to have to request items your assume will be provided. Room was worn and could use upgrades. Cracked counter top in bathroom, peeling mirror and window. Towels were frayed, and bed was sagging on the most frequently used side. Perhaps after elevator repairs, an overhaul is in need. Great location for subway access, and close proximity to Broadway.

Location is wonderful! While we certainly enjoyed our visit, the hotel is closer to a 2.5 to 3 star hotel. At first glance room looked nice, but on closer inspection there is mold on the shower ceiling and sink, splatters on the walls in the bathroom, and dust all around the perimeter of the room. I would compare to a hotel with a lower star rating. The HVAC was horrible (kept resetting to 74 vs the 65 we set it to), so we turned it off and opened the window to regulate temperature. We typically don't spend much time in the room other than when sleeping and the beds were comfortable. Given this and the location I would recommend the Park Central, just don't expect a 4-Star hotel experience.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I am extremely disappointed in the lack of care, customer service and blatant disrespect of this hotel staff and management. I booked through a 3rd party and got full confirmation from management (the only African American manager, Morgan I believe was his name) that my early check out was approved and I would be refunded my fees. My family and I stayed there and went through the WORST experience. I had an emergency come up that I had to get back home for, my sibling was stuck on the elevator for over an hour, the elevators were broken, management continued to lie and be unprofessional. I have never experienced something as terrible as this place. I have verbal and written confirmation that my early check out was approved and now this hotel management will not confirm this and let the 3rd party initiate my refund. I have called and left several voicemails - none have been returned. They are blatantly ignoring. I would love to speak to someone in corporate as this is completely unacceptable.

Nice rooms, daily housekeeping (without requesting it). Good size lobby. Staff is friendly. Unfortunately, when we stayed there, the elevators were being "upgraded" , so it wasn't unusual to wait 10 minutes, or more, for an elevator. They opened the freight elevators to guests, but they were still being used by staff, so they would frequently get stuck on a single floor. Definitely wouldn't stay there again until there elevators are fully operational. They dropped the "destination fee" when we asked for some consideration.

Beautiful hotel. The staff are cordial and nice. The elevator sucks because there's only one available. At your last night you will receive "resort fees" additional around $40 per night.

Upon checking in the only works spoken by the hotel clerk was to ask for my id. Not exactly the most welcoming staff member. We then learned that the hotel had shut down two of its guest elevators over the Thanksgiving holiday causing a major delay in being able to come and go from the hotel. It took an average time of 15 - 20 minutes, at one time 40 minutes to be able to access an elevator for which there was any room to board. This became more than an annoyance it became a safety issue with overloaded elevators and guests aggressively trying to enter/exit the elevators. The hotel staff paid zero attention to the issue. The friendliest staff were the housekeeping crew that witnessed the guests frustration at having to wait and wait and wait for an elevator. Unfortunately, using the stairs was not an option for us. Just do not stay at this hotel

Location of the hotel is amazing and the beds extremely comfortable. However after checking out I have been charged £261 to my credit card with no explanation - after being told we had nothing outstanding to pay. I have emailed and facebooked messaged a few times yet it’s been over 4 days and still no one has got back to me with any explanation as to why I have had all these extra charges (we left the room in the exact condition we found it in to) really disappointed with the lack of customer service

Welcoming and friendly staff with high-quality service and attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and comfortable compared to hotels with the same/similar rates. Pros: Practical location with convenient nearby diners and shops. At least 4 parking within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Cons: The elevators are mostly occupied and will mostly result in delays (so plan accordingly). The room can use some TLC (rust on window edges, discoloration in sealing paint, slow restroom drains, and lack of ventilation).

The front desk folks and the bell hops were WONDERFUL! They were so sweet and very kind. The bar staff was non-existent. Food is only served from 6 to 8, if you get service. They say it's open until 10 on the menu, but they close whenever. They lost our bar tab twice.

Run down hotel that is desperate for updating, lift still not working. Used another lift and walked down to our floor but could only use it when someone let us as our room key wouldn’t work. Could wait a while for the lift or do the 18 floors of stairs. Clean rooms but wallpaper coming away with disgusting carpets. Lobby is really clean and pretty. A goodbye thank you of over £400 added to our bill for residential fees and taxes - we only used free WiFi and no support from British Airways who we booked through. Not impressed. Location was ok and no street noise which is a bonus. Bed was comfy. Family stay and two rooms either end of the building - not helpful. No kettle or fridge. But a wine cooler box with no ice - helpful! Wet carpet on arrival too.

I would definitely not recommend staying here. Although the location is wonderful, it just doesn’t outweigh the negatives. They had one elevator working our entire trip and other guests that has been there longer than our 4 days said the same thing. It is a nightmare and you spend a bunch of your trip waiting on elevators. It was brutal. When we checked in Thursday evening there were about 20 people in line and one person helping with check in. It is a nice place with a great location but just seems poorly run. There is another hotel on the south side of the building where it appears that they just gave them the exclusive access to two of the 4 elevators and only one of the others was working. We stayed on the 12th floor and probably spent over an hour of our trip dealing w elevators. The idea of running downstairs for a cup of coffee is a no go. I would never stay here again or recommend it.

Elevators were not working correctly -- spent easily 1+ hour a day waiting on an elevator, including the service elevator. Restaurant staff were not responsive. Bartender refused to chill a bottle of wine. Took 3 calls to have a refrigerator brought up into the room. No temperature control in the room -- became extremely hot and street noise precluded opening a window to sleep. I would like some money back for sure.

Nice room, busy elevator. Could not figure out if I was supposed to use the unit itself or the thermostat on the wall to operate the heat/air. Would be nice to have instruction. Staff was friendly overall. Checkin went smoothly after I explained that even though I checked in on my phone, I did not get a confirmation email with key instructions etc. Very convenient location, and I will stay here again!

There was no coffee maker in the room, nor was anything set up, say, in the lobby. No bar . The food kiosk closed at 1:30 so if you wanted food or drink late, too bad. And it was expensive! Amenities were scarce; I wanted a shower cap. Out of luck. One time there were no wash clothes. Yeah, I could have called for some, but I shouldn’t have to. I had four hangers. Really? I kept notes on a napkin. No note pad or pen. All that for the amenity charge of $35 per night. Geez.

Nice hotel. Nice room. Has a market n restaurant n lounge. The elevators are slow and keep your room card out to scan in elevators. No pool but not very many do in NYC. Great location! Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel in Manhattan, just far away enough from the heavy tourist spots but close enough. Within walking distance to many great restaurants, shopping and Central Park. Clean hotel but there was a strong musky odor in the bathroom. The elevators are always busy but that’s what happens when you’re staying at a good/popular hotel!

The hotel itself is beautiful. Staff are friendly and attentive. Everything is clean and well taken care of. My only two gripes: the room could never seem to get cool enough until late at night. After long days walking in the sun, you want to get back to your room and cool off; forget it. The wall unit is woefully weak. Second gripe: the water pressure in the shower is way too low for a hotel of this caliber. Feels like light rain. Other than that, excellent! And perfectly situated in midtown Manhattan.

The location is fantastic. That's about it. No breakfast, nothing but the minimal furniture in the rooms (not even tea/coffee), And most annoying - the Service/ Package Room charges $10 to accept postal package delivery (sometimes more than the package itself!)

Loved staying here. Room was clean and cozy. Staff was wonderful. Great location for the price. Would totally come back to this hotel and recommend to friends and family.

First class hotel. Nice room, but need was smaller than expected. At best you might call it a queen but it was smaller than a typical queen. We were booked for a king bed.

My room was filthy when I checked in. I brought it to their attention and after another clean it just wasn't clean. I decided to give up and just stay because I'd prepaid. The walls are pretty thin and noise travels through them. There are so services in the building other than a shop with extremely odd hours. Next time, I'll stay somewhere else.

Staff members are extremely rude and inconsiderate to guests' needs. I have never been more disappointed with a hotel than with the Park Central. Do NOT book here. Plenty of better options nearby like the Sheraton just down the street.

Well, I want to tell you this hotel is great but the management was the best. I had slid my tickets for my parents under the wrong door and they all went with me to help try and find them before my performance at Carnegie Hall. They truly do care about all of their guest and go the extra mile. Thanks guys!

This was our first stay at the Park Central and we found everything to be wonderful, clean, comfy and quiet. The WiFi was good, the room quiet, the bed/pillows excellent, and the staff was exceptional. The fitness room was very well equipped and the grab and good breakfast store was quite satisfying for what it was.

I have really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From the start we we greeted by a wonderful staff and luckily and early check in. They also do offer a service to check bags if need be when your check in/out times don't align with your travel times. The location is definitely perfect as time Square and central park and so many things in between are just a few minutes walk away. The room is pleasant and comfy and clean. I enjoyed seeing all the cool buildings from my room. The bathroom is equipped with a large size shampoo, conditioner and bodywash which I thought was nice. There's no mini fridge or microwave but we've made do. I would stay here again in the future.

What can I even say about this magnificent place. Iconic, obviously, but also with so many things to do, see, take pictures of and experience. Just jogging with this amazing view is unforgettable. So many musicians performing near or underneath bridges, chubby squirrels running around, people in bridal attire and so.many.amazing.dogs!!!! The place is very easy to reach by Subway, Columbus Circle is the easiest way to get to the most epic sites. Get ready to walk, but a pizza pretzel and enjoy NY

This was my first time staying at this Hotel and I have to say it was a great experience. I was in walking distance of Nordstrom, Broadway, and Time Square. The hotel lobby is beautiful and clean. My room was very clean and the linens were fresh. I usually stay at the Marriott but I would stay here again for sure. Overall I recommend.

Over all pretty decent. My only complaints are we had a premier double queen room but there was no coffee maker or water or even a refrigerator in the room. The room was clean. Bathroom was adequate but the air conditioner lacks in performance. Good location. Nice breakfast places within two blocks. Subway stops very close and Central Park was just a few blocks away. I would stay here again.

The front desk lady was quite rude, if I didn’t have a reservation, I would’ve turned around and left. The location is great for walking and maybe renting a bike to ride around the park. It is very loud at night because it’s a very busy area. $90 per night parking with valet.

Possibly the worst 4-star hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Trying to see the bright side so I’ll start with the only good thing about this hotel: 1) decent location, central to many places Cons: 1) only one slow elevator is in operations to service thousands of people and 18+ floors. People sometimes wait for 20+ min to get in the elevator. My husband had to carry 60 pounds suitcase up 8 flights of stairs. 2) worn, old, depressing room with barely any lighting and 0 sun light throughout the day. I constantly had to turn on flashlight to see inside my room. For many rooms, the view out of the window is HVAC 3) no breakfast. you’ll have to buy to-go breakfast at hotel convenience store 4) poor temperature control. despite turning the thermostats to 60 degrees it still feels like 80 degrees. Had trouble going to sleep because it’s so hot. 5) staffs check on you aggressively to check out. I called guest service at around 10:30am to confirm that I will check out at noon in the morning. Then, for a span of ~30 minutes, 5 different staff knocked on my door and asked me when I am checking out, over and over again. sometimes they entered my room after only one quick knock - I had no time to respond. I was lucky that I was fully clothed, but it was still very annoying because my work meeting kept on getting interrupted My stay was business related so it was paid for, but honestly I would rather pay to stay at a different hotel.

Location is great! Close to everything, nice places to have breakfast in the morning. Elevators: did not have any problem except our last 2 days. Saw lines waiting but we took the stairs. During our stay there was some kind of clothing shop at our floor - bit noisy of all the sales people that were talking/laughing in the hall. When the event was finished they left the hall dirty, took 2 days to be cleaned. A bit of renovation would be welcome in the rooms

This hotel has a great position, Stop. elevators (two for side) ware always broken, is unbelievable for Ny and for a hotel with hundreds costumers . 5 days on 6 without elevators and this problem is long lasting as you can read in other reviews. One day my room wasn't cleaned . Bathrooms are very old. last but not least, 38 $ /per day as "destination fee" never told to me and including poor services is very unfair!! ( concierge told me clearly "you have to pay just a city tax", and that was told to me at check in and check out). choose something else !

The hotel is nice, with a great location, not that noisy. Frontdoor men and people at luggage and package management were lovely. Front desk people were not nice at all, almost rude. One of the 2 elevators was not in service so it was hell trying to go up and down.
