Pros- Location, Location, Location and price was good. Rooms were clean and a decent size. Beds were comfortable. Cons- We had no idea that the pool and gym were closed. While looking for a hotel on any trip, one of my first priorities is that there is a gym. I saw beautiful photos of the gym and everything I read said it was available, not Closed. Also, the kids were disappointed that the pool had been closed. Please update your websites so more people do not become upset these are not available. Also, there was no way to regulate the room temperature. We were very hot. 74 degrees was our room temperature and we always had to leave the window open to get some cool air.

Amazing hotel. Since my stay here, it is now on the top of my list. Very friendly and accommodating staff. They worked with me when it came to my late checkout and holding my luggage after checkout since I had a really late flight. They had no problem getting me an extra bed and the view that I wanted. Not to mention, you can literally walk outside this hotel and everything is right there and in walking distance. It's also very clean and the views are amazing.

THE perfect location for a visit to NYC! Right on Times Square, and depending on which room you get, you won't get a better view. I paid for a view of the square and it was exactly what I was expecting. And as we stayed in February, the price was very good. Worth every penny! You won't get a view like this for under £1,000 any other time of the year! Room was very nice, very clean, and had everything we needed. Some guests were very noisy, but no fault of the hotel. This is NYC, it's always busy...so there is always noise from outside, especially with a location like this. My only problem with the hotel was the escalators being switched off in the evening. There is a single elevator that can be used to reach the 1st floor, but if it's busy you have to walk up the escalator (and down if going out), and as someone with hyperextension of the ligaments in both knees, it wasn't ideal. But overall, a very good hotel and I would stay here again!

Just got back from a weekend trip to NYC for my son's birthday. We had a great experience at Crowne Plaza! We had a few minor issues at check in but the manager, John, resolved everything immediately!! I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent location for families. Always security and police right outside the entrance. We would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately terrible. A very dated hotel with low ceilings. Rather than an expensive 4-star hotel which it technically is, the rooms look like cheap motel rooms. The absolute worst thing was that the rooms are attached to the room next door by a door with big gaps round it, and no sound insulation, so it was like the two people in the room next door were in the room with us. We heard them all night talking, laughing, eating and burping. It was disgusting and we hardly got any sleep. Poor shower, and no refrigerator in the room unless you pay them $30. We are Platinum IHG members but we didn't get a room with a king bed as requested, instead we got a room with tiny twin beds which we hardly fit in. No drinking water was available in the room, although they did bring some when I phoned down. They have a coffee maker to make hot drinks, but they only had decaffeinated tea, not regular tea. And even though I had late checkout, the cleaner came in early in the morning (because there was no do not disturb sign) and threw out my drinking water, so I had to request more. They also take advantage by charging a $40 nonsensical "resort fee" for nothing. Apart from this, the staff were mostly very nice and helpful.

Long elevator waits, lack of hot water, out of tissue boxes highlights our 2 night stay here. We paid $400 a night but did not receive $400 / night of value. Thankfully, a manager sympathized with us and gave us one night free. Love the location but the hotel needs much improvement.

This hotel re-opened a few weeks ago and it's absolutely horrific. We walked into the room and it was 90 degrees with heat blazing. We called four times for mechanics to come and nobody did. Eventually we had to open the window on the 46th floor and turn off the air completely. This hotel has no phone number; not even IHG's diamond desk can call them. Even from within the hotel, we called 10x over the course of an hour and nobody answered. We asked for the free breakfast benefit at check in and were told they have no restaurant or food open. On the way to the elevators, you can clearly see a restaurant with food options open in the mornings. The TV and internet did not work. When we went down to the desk (because nobody was answering the phone) and asked manager Grant for a change of rooms or a mechanic to come and fix the issues, he offered nothing... just said "we can release you from your booking and you can find another property." I'm honestly shocked. Terrible property.

We booked a stay for June 7 2020 and had to cancel due to COVID. We were promised our refund within 6 to 8 weeks. Despite many e-mails and phone calls we have never received a refund. And now we can’t get hold of the hotel to speak to anyone. All e-mail contacts we had are no longer accessible and when we try to call the hotel we are automatically forwarded to the head reservation centre in the Phillipines. Needless to say we are frustrated that the hotel is not honouring their commitment. The hotel is part of an international hotel chain and the lack of providing our refund is inexcusable and borders on criminal. This experience has been so distasteful we don’t feel New York is a destination to be recommended to anybody

Booked a room on 7/27/21 for 1/15/22. Room got cancelled without warning due to Covid. Contacted the hotel to get refunded and, according to them, we paid through a third party website called "glopromoted hotels" so they won't refund us. First of all, that site does not exist and is nowhere in my computer's history. Also, I have no emails from any of the other third parties like hotels.com, booking.com, expedia, etc. confirming my payment. Crowne Plaza stole my money. And judging by all the other reviews I'm now seeing, this is very common for them. Don't give them your money.

Sandra at the front desk was excellent. She helped us with everything. Also, the security department helped us because I forgot my documents in the security box. Thank you so much. This guy was very professional and helped us immediately, The only thing I didn't like was the housekeeping department didn't clean our room . 😒 but they brought me towels and bathroom stuff when I called them. The location is great and the guy in the coffee shop is very friendly.. I definitely want to come back next year. Thanks 😊 my trip was unforgettable.

I took the train from grand central to here, very excited about my vacation, but little did I know, this would be a nightmare. It all started when I noticed living cockroaches in the bathroom and I called room service to ask for a new room, instead of a new room, all they did way spray bug spray in the bathroom and left. Then, I left the hotel to go to an activity in Lower-Manhattan, but when I came back, the hotel staff did not allow me back into the hotel, as they did not believe I was staying there. This stood out to me, because I saw several other people re-enter the hotel with no questions asked, after that issue I went up to my hotel room and realized that there were brown stains on my linens that smelled of mouse feces, after that I instantly called the hotel manager, demanding for a new room, or my money back, and the manager ended up giving me a room worth less than the one I originally had, and was covered in dust. I ended up leaving the hotel without my money back, and booked a night at a nearby Holiday Inn, which had way better service, and a more cleanly atmosphere. 0/5 I would rate 0 stars if I was able to.

This is my 2nd stay at this property. The first time was good and the restaurant and their breakfast were great. This second time wasn’t a nice experience. The check in process wasn’t pleasant, took very long with an extremely slow and not knowledgeable personnel, my advanced request wasn’t granted. No swimming pool or gym at the property and it wasn’t clearly indicated or explained during the booking and registration. No full service restaurant. The room was dirty. Restroom floor was dirty, so as the shower area. Overall the room gives you a feeling of a very dated and not well maintained place. I didn’t like that the toilet paper is not fully secured on the wall and constantly was falling and rolling away. No refrigerator in the room. I didn’t notice any resort amenities, but was charged a resort fee. The front door to the hotel was not properly operating for all 3 days I was there, the door was very heavy and no personnel to assist. The only breakfast option was a little coffee nook, but every day the baked items looked very unappetizing and old, I didn’t want to risk to eat there. It was very unpleasant to see the refrigerators in a public area all wrapped up in chains and huge locks. If there is an issue with the beverages being taken, maybe the hotel should move the equipment behind the counter and sell water to the customers through the team member. The hotel location is great, and that’s the only reason of my choice.

Hotel is situated in a great spot, a stones throw from Times Square. The surrounding area is pricey because it’s Times Square but it’s good for a first time visitor. Metro is all around the area to the whole city which is good. We had issues where frost desk called our room 7 times throughout the day and tried to enter 2 times because a glitch in their system said we weren’t staying there which was rather annoying, but I’ll assume this was a computer error. All around a decent hotel for the price if you want to be in the action.

Was suppose to be upgraded to a room with a Hudson River view...nope, just a view of buildings. Phone in room doesn't work, had to call front desk from my cell phone. No mini fridge in the room but also no ice bucket provided but there's an ice machine on each floor. (Makes zero sense to have ice machines but don't provide ice buckets) Location is prime, that's literally the only thing special about this hotel. Rooms are normal rooms (nothing special). For almost $1000 for the weekend...I'd say you're only paying that amount for location. Giving it 2 stars due to location.

The Crowne Plaza saved our NYC weekend! After arriving at the hotel we had booked and discovering that it was not at ALL what we were promised, we booked the Crowne Plaza last-minute. We showed up at the front desk before I’d even gotten a confirmation email, and we were checked in within 2 minutes. Our room was clean and sizable for downtown Manhattan, and the staff were lovely and helpful, especially in getting us cabs throughout the weekend. The on-site eating options are still undergoing renovations, but we didn’t mind since there’s SO much within a short walk. The cafe was very nice in the mornings though! The noise from Times Square didn’t affect us much — the room had good sound proofing and we always sleep with white noise anyway, so for us it wasn’t a concern. We were on floor 39. For tourist attractions, the theater district, and just general proximity to fun, you cannot beat this location. We would definitely stay again!

My family and I booked 2 rooms at this hotel for March 2020. Due to COVID New York City shut down and our trip was cancelled. Every other vendor immediately returned our money now questions asked. It is now almost 2 years later, and we still haven’t gotten a dime back from this hotel after being promise multiple time we would receive a full refund. To make matters worse I can’t even get a live person to talk to. I have emailed and called. This is theft and anyone thinking of staying at any of these properties BEWARE!!!

This is a beautiful Hotel with an amazing view of Times Square Full recognition of my platinum IHG membership with free upgrade to a beautiful "corner city view high floor" room with an amazing view of Times Square. Also i received a 25$ coupon to use at their restaurant. The location with the Times Square just around is amazing. Also i got a special price of 16$ for the breakfast which was a nice breakfast full of varieties. Really a perfect stay in the beautiful times square. Big thank you to Mr. GRANT FABER the FRONT OFFICE DIRECTOR who made my stay an Amazing one in Beautiful New York. When i return to New York with my family, this will be my first choice hotel for sure

Don't stay here. I made a reservation pre-covid. The hotel shut down and a year and a half later I still can not get my refund despite being told I would receive one. Despicable business practices. It's theft. They are knowingly denying me my money. Notice that there are many posts like mine and yet there are no responses from management. Speaks volumes. Great job "Alex K." You obviously are reading these posts because you selectively respond to them.

I just received notification that my reservation was canceled due to the hotel not being open. I understand these are difficult times however I would expect some assistance in booking a comparable hotel or some sort of compensation so that I could book my own hotel. IHG has been zero help after more than 6 hours of phone calls, of course it is full elsewhere during my planned trip which is why I had originally booked months in advance. Don’t assume your status will help either, I am the highest IHG rewards member and still left out in the rain.

Horrible and incompetent service. Booked a reservation on 9/14/21 for 11/19-21/21 through the hotel website. Got an email 11/5/21 canceling the reservation. Spent 2 hours on the phone trying to find out why the reservation was canceled and find another room. I was told there were no available rooms for my dates. The rate I booked at would not be honored at any of the nearby properties. No explanation for the cancellation was ever given. I can only surmise that IHG wanted to get a higher rate for the room I booked so they canceled my reservation.

We had a corner room on the 42nd floor. Big windows all around. It was outstanding! The amenities, however, were nonexistent. We called on the first night of our stay to have coffee, bathrobes, a refrigerator, and extra pillows and towels sent up. They did so after a second call, and they comped our refrigerator. $30 bucks that was cool. There was no room service, that was not cool. But we did love our stay for the most part.

They are in winter mode and will tell you that you have to open your window to cool your room to a comfortable sleeping temperature. Leaving the window open is beyond noisy and does not cool the room down at all. I never heard of a hotel where you pay $500+ a night and can't control your room temperature. It was 75 degrees from and above my entire stay. This hotel looks nice on the outside but it is by far the worst. Other than the thermostat issue, my room had mold, shower falling apart, plugs fall out of loose, 100 yr old outlets, and the management/leadership staff spoke to me like I'm an idiot. I do not recommend staying here and I will never stay here again. Responding to the comments left by their social media manager: No, they deliberately have the climate control in the rooms turned off. Just look at all your other guests complaining about the same issue. The hotel manager's response to me was to ask me if I want to check out. That says I don't care what you need you can leave if you don't like it. Knowing I would have nowhere to go. My rate was around $700 a night. This is just wrong for that kind of $. First 2 nights were hot. Last night woke at 5am to a 60 degree room. All 3 nights were sleepless, constantly being startled out of sleep due to street midtown noises. Would you stay here?

The hotel was a great location. It was clean. Our room was what we booked. The staff was friendly. Check in was smooth. Nothing "wrong/bad" happened. Yet, nothing amazing or 5 star worthy occurred. There are multiple floors with inoperable ice machines so if you do visit, I would ask which floors ice machines work so you won't be on a scavenger hunt like I was. It was a good enough experience to return if I want to stay in the center of Time Square.

Wow. I have reservations flying with two kids from California to NYC for June 28 through July 1, 2021. While checking all our plans before we leave, we found that our reservation was cancelled! Hopped on the phone with IHG to ask why and they have no record of a cancellation, but we can see that this hotel is closed. Tried to call the Crowne Plaza number and it is disconnected. I cannot believe they would cancel a reservation with no notice at all. I reviewed all my emails and nothing. I started to research a bit online and found that this has happened to several other people - reservations have been cancelled without notifying people Horrifying. Awful.

Location is great for walking around Times Square. It did feel safe as there was someone watching the garage door entrance (front entrance is temporarily closed). There were relatively minor things, like the cable not working even after having maintenance come switch out some cords, and a few pieces of plaster having fallen into the bathtub. And the room telephones you can hardly hear even with volume raised. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Haven't had our incidentals deposit returned yet, but fingers crossed it doesn't become an issue. Very nice spot, would highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, the bustling vibe of downtown was undeniable and absolutely thrilling. The true highlight for us was the hotel's proximity to Times Square – it doesn't get more central than this! Stepping out of the lobby and being able to dive straight into the vibrant atmosphere of one of the world's most iconic landmarks was an experience in itself. Whether it was for sightseeing, shopping, or just soaking in the New York energy, we were in the perfect spot. It's hard to imagine a better location when visiting the Big Apple. Highly recommended for those looking to be in the midst of it all!

Not bad at all! The location is the reason I chose this hotel. You are right up from Times Square, but far enough away from the noise. Our room was quiet, but we were 3 minutes from the action. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The cleaners cleaned everyday and I appreciated that. The staff was so great to help us with luggage and transportation. Very helpful and kind. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting.

I stayed at the hotel for two (2) nights. On Saturday morning, while I was sleeping, two (2) people tried to entered my room. I shouted to let them know that someone was inside the room. They did not stop and stayed outside my room for around seven (7) minutes playing with the door. I called the front desk and they apologized because by mistake they told another guest that my room was his room. I understood and didn't complain. The worker from the front desk called me back and offered me something for the inconvenience. He never explained me what. When I did check out I ask for this "something" and they never gave me anything.

For many years, my family has traveled to NYC for various trips. Most recently, we decided to stay at the Crowne Plaza because of previous trips and the location. Location is top notch, being in the heart of times square; however, the rooms themselves are not work the >$500/night. I have attached pictures of our room. Multiple areas should be redone: bathtub floor, the "molding" on the floor, the ceiling, and the air conditioner. When we entered our room, the temperature was 75. I get that they want to conserve the energy when no one is in the room, but we lowered the temp WAY down to 50 deg, left for 3 hours, and the temp was at 74. We kept it on until we came back to our room at 830 and the temp was 72. By the time we left (1030am) the following day, the temp was only at 71. For a space this small, the room should have been cooled down much more quickly. It was actually colder outside than our room so we opened the window. The hotel restaurant was closed for renovations which is not something they mentioned to us either. Overall, we won't stay here again unless other remodeling is completed.

My sister and me stayed here. The location is good. We could never get the A/C to work so the temperature in the room never got below 75 thank goodness we could open the window!! One morning while I was in the shower the hot water ran out, but when we called the front desk to let them know they had it fixed withing 5 minutes. The room was clean and we always had fresh towels and only had to ask for more TP once.

This will be the first and last time staying here. Needed concierge service .. None available! Phones in room did not work had to literally call hotel from my mobile. One touch button to all hotel services got a busy signal. Hotel sent up maintenance man only to be told that the phone system didn’t work and was instructed to dial “70” to get guest services. When guest services was called for room service was told there was no room service! A hotel guest service person sent up hot water for tea as a courtesy.

This hotel is ok, but I wouldn't book it again. Location was great, service was great, but the room was old and run down. Old wood cabinetry, no fridge, bathroom tub was reglazed, but the glaze was all cracked inside missing pieces, the water knob was coming off and twisting as you turn on the water to take a shower, and windows were old and repainted. Didn't bother to request another room, luckily our stay was short.

Hotels quality has gone down hill. The room was very untidy, holes around wall socket, chunks of plaster off wall, paint over surfaces and furniture. The worktop in the bathroom had been filled with something, didn't look hygienic. The room hadn't been cleaned properly, stains on surfaces, no shower gel. I have stayed here before and it wasn't like this then. This is not 4 star and cost us nearly £1000 per night. The owners responses is not ok. For some reason my photos didn't upload so editing the review and hopefully photos will upload. See photos and then explain how the owners can say they always strive for satisfaction. How can you charge this much for this state of room and expect satisfaction.

DO NOT stay here. It takes a rocket scientist to figure out elevators, no restaurant, snack bar closes after lunch, Uber drivers cannot find you here because the address takes them to the addtess, from which there is no entrance. No room service yet, and it’s 3:00 PM. I stayed here 5 yrs. ago and it was better—still crazy entrances. Rooms are nice, but that is all. I will never stay here again!

My husband and I stayed this past weekend (11/18-11/20 in room 3313) with our toddler and we had a great time! Prime location and clean room. Our housekeeper was very responsive and friendly. When it was time to check out, Kamal helped us get our bags down to our car and was so kind to us. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

THE HOTEL HAS REPLIED TO ALL OTHER REVIEWS BUT SEEMS TO IGNORE MY REQUEST FOR MY REFUND WHICH THEY PROMISED TO ME AND APOLOGISED FOR THE WAIT COULD YOU PLEASE RESPOND TO ME Still no refund after three years of promises. No one answers phones or emails. Dear Mr. Dunne; Thank you once again for your patience with the simple refund. Our date to reopen our hotel has continued to move as the property has been in the middle of ownership change - a significant change that has had all accounts restricted. The "new" ownership group is aware that we have people such as yourself who have been waiting an incredibly long period of time for the return of your funds. Please note that our telephones have been turned off at this time as well. As a hotel and new owner, we are now working through a date to reopen. I would expect a date towards the back end of the first quarter 2022. I know this is not what you want to hear, I can also assure you that we have you listed in the accounts to be settled as soon as possible. If this should change with an expedited reopening - we will joyfully let you know. Once again. Apologies over and over again. Regards. Mark Sanders MARK SANDERS MANAGING DIRECTOR

Convenient location and very friendly staff. However, room needed to be renovated and wasn’t very clean (we found an abandoned pair of socks in plain sight when we checked in to our room). The room also smelled very musty and kind of like smelly feet when we checked in. Additionally, one set of doors to the building was broken for half of our stay, so we had to walk around the building every time we wanted to get inside.

We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel. We basically slept there and spent the entire day out and about in NYC. It's your normal hotel, but it's location is far and away they best quality. Everything in NYC is walkable from here and the place is surrounded by Broadway theaters. The pool was closed when we were there and so was the bar. The cafe basically had chips and sandwiches and a small breakfast menu. Much better food available outside the hotel.

Pro- room was clean, staff was friendly. The ice machine had plenty of ice. Most people would love the beds. The location was perfect, we could walk to most everything. Bus and Subway was right there. Cons-We were put in an adjoining room, the people next door sounded like they were in our room. Also we could hear everything in the hallway. No mini fridge or microwave. Room was very hot, we could not get it to cool down unless we opened the window.

We loved our stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The location of the hotel is amazing being right in the heart of Times Square and walking distance to pretty much everything. Upon arriving, we were happily greeted at reception and were checked in. Our room was not ready but, we were able to leave our luggage's with the bell boys downstairs and start our adventure. When entering our room, we were so shocked at how clean and organized the rooms were. The only thing was there was no fridge in our room and not sure if you're able to request one but, it would be good if there was a fridge provided. The night before checking out, we were able to schedule a SUV to take us right to the airport which was such an added bonus because hailing a taxi could take some time and could become quite expensive. Overall, this is an amazing hotel and we will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed here the week before Christmas. When we checked in we noticed the room was warm and stuffy so we turned the unit down and left for dinner. We came back a few hours later and the room was still 74 degrees. I called the front desk so they sent the maintenance guy who said the entire hotel is the same temperature and he turned our room unit off and told us to open the window. We opened the window ( just a crack is all it would open) the room never cooled down. Long story short we barely slept because the room never went below 74 egress. The location was great and if you like sleeping in a stuffy hot room then this hotel is for you. I still can't figure out how it was 22 degrees outside at night and with the window cracked it still stayed 74 degrees in the room.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. We stayed 4 nights / 5 days. The bathroom door was broken, there was no mini fridge in the room as promised, the room phone didn’t work and the a/c was a daily problem. The housekeeper was very nice and helpful. The luggage check and front desk staff were rude. It’s more than $400 per night.

Great stay. Only issue was the cleaning person followed us into our room after she thought we had checked out and we had to explain we didn't have luggage because we were using the room for a business meeting. I get it, but it is a good reminder to always lock your door. People working at hotels really will walk into your room without any regard for your privacy. It happens all too often. I would stay here again, and highly recommend it!

The hotel was located in a perfect spot. Everything was about a 15-minute walk or less. I had an amazing view of Time Square. The front desk staff were also very helpful, giving us recommendations of places we should check, which did not disappoint. The reason I did not give five stars was because for the price, there were very few amenities. Despite the breathtaking view, the room itself seemed pretty cramped for four people. Also, it was advertised online that there's a pool, but the pool actually closed in 2020 and never opened back up. Overall It was a decent stay. When you stay at this hotel, just know you're moreso paying for the convenience of the location than anything else.

Well we booked here again because last time it was great. But now we are disappointed. We booked and paid for 3 and I had to ask every night for everything! No third blanket, not enough coffee or cups etc and they didn't really clean the room. After asking for the gym they told me there's no gym at the moment I had to go somewhere else..... That's a no go because there wasn't even any information on the internet. If I knew that before I wouldn't have booked here. The hotel staff at the reception was so unfriendly I was shocked about such a behavior except two (a man and a woman )everybody there were condescending. After all I paid a super high hotel fee and I'm asking myself for what. No gym, no service, and I had to ask for everything every day. Room is big enough and beds are comfy. The hotel is located at times square which is great because you have everything around you.

Nice room but the air/heat did not work in my room. Maintenance did the best that he could but for the price that I paid for the room the hotel could it be better. They just reopened so I guess it’s understandable

Had the unfortunate experience of staying here when our original hotel was unable to host us due their facilities being updated. Honestly wish we were allowed to stay in the original hotel, as the Crowne's facilities were non-existent. The bar and restaurant were closed for our entire stay, as well as the gym and the pool. To reiterate, there were no facilities open to us as guests at all, not even the cooldrink vending machines on our floor. This was then followed by being locked out of our rooms twice during our stay, and having to wait over half an hour each time for the non-existent manager to be found and re-activate our key. The second time this happend was increadibly alarming, as they did not ask for any proof that it was our room, they just gave us keys. I shudder to think that anyone could have asked for a key to any room. House-keeping was also very off-putting, as litter was left lying in the room, but very special care was taken to re-arrange our underwear. The cherry on top has to be that once these issues were raised, they agreed to waive the hidden fees and "service charges" for everyone's stay. Despite this promise, and not charging anyone else in the group, a full 8 days after checking out they took the money from the card they kept on file. Calling their customer experience line has been futile, as they promised the management of this hotel would reach out, and yet they have failed to do so after multiple calls. I'm having to raise this as a fraudulent charge as they are entirely unwilling to keep to their word or communicate with us.

Where do I begin! When I initially booked the reservation with a customer service representative I was guaranteed an early check in, when I showed up at the hotel not only was I unable to check in early, they also had two rooms booked under ny name when the reservation was supposed to be 1 room. Once I was able to check in hours later, we had to wait 2 hours to get into the room due to their server being down and none of the key cards were working for any guests on the property. Once in the room, we found dirty towels, no shower head attachment, no trash can. They moved us to a new room which was a down grade and this took another hour to get into the new room. We were now unable to shower and get dressed for dinner reservations and missed dinner. We were also late arriving at our Broadway show due to getting into our room so late. The new one was a handicap bathroom in which the shower leaked all over the floor evertime the shower was used. Everytime we tried calling down to the main desk we were never able to reach anyone. The hallways had wallpaper falling off the walls and looked like water damage. The outlet in the room had some extension cord they had running to a lamp that looked damaged. When speaking with the manager, their excuse for all the issues were due to just reopening 2 days prior after being shutdown since Covid back 2020. They showed no concern for any of the whole lobby of guests continuing to have all the same complaints. Many guests had plans that were effected by these issues. No guest should have to wait hours to get into a room after check in while on vacation with plans. We were given a late check out and never told we would have to pay for another whole day of parking fees for being there 26 hours verses 24 hrs. The whole customer service throughout this property was absolutely horrible! The only person with any type of concern for the guests were the bellhop.

stayed in 2015 with my family and it was a great experience. nice view from the room windows and also from the big wondow in the restaurant room on Times square. Wide range of food available and a lot of comfort in your room. Obviously quite expensive.

Great location. Rooms are bigger than typical NYC hotels. Very well maintained.

As many others, I haven’t recieved my refund. As I’ve heard the hotel is closed at the moment. I wasn’t able to contact through phone. At which social media page can I contact the hotel? The Facebook page was hard to find and it seems dead (last post from March 2020). Edit 2021 october: the social media team has responded fast and they told me the hotel is still closed and funds are frozen. I raised my rating to 2 Star just for the social media team.

I've been there so many times and every time, it's always a great experience to hang out in Time Square! Do I really have to say that I recommend this place?? If you go to New York, this is a must! Even if you are just passing by!

You have to love Krispy Kreme! The New York special donut is definitely overpriced and... I wish they had apples in it since it's called big Apple!
