We
stayed
three
nights,
and
it
was
not
a
good
stay.
The
staff
was
generally
quite
friendly,
and
the
location
was
perfect
for
us,
but
this
hotel
has
issues.
They
are
understaffed,
and
I
understand
that
this
is
a
widespread
problem.
But
it
is
an
inconvenience
to
wait
for
a
half-hour
to
check
in.
Maybe
this
is
typical
in
Manhattan,
so
I'll
let
that
go.
When
we
got
to
our
room,
we
found
that
it
was
not
very
clean,
the
bathroom
sink
had
a
slow
drain,
and
several
electrical
outlets,
lights,
and
the
refrigerator
did
not
work.
We
reported
it
the
next
day.
They
flipped
the
circuit
breaker
and
sent
engineering
personnel
up
to
make
sure
it
was
OK.
Lights
and
outlets
were
restored,
but
the
refrigerator
never
got
cool
during
our
stay,
and
we
were
told
by
engineering
that
there
was
no
replacement
for
it.
This
is
unfortunate
because
we
needed
it.
On
our
last
night,
the
room
got
warm,
so
we
turned
on
the
window
unit
A/C.
It
made
a
loud,
growling
noise
and
then
immediately
tripped
the
circuit
breaker
again.
(So
I
guess
we
found
the
source
of
the
problem.)
I
tried
to
report
it
@
~5:40am
by
dialing
*90
for
the
front
desk
and
0
for
off-site
customer
service,
and
no
one
answered
either
call.
Considering
the
cost
of
the
room,
that
is
unacceptable.
When
we
checked
out,
I
told
the
lady
at
the
front
desk,
who
was
very
friendly,
about
our
issues.
She
replied,
"And
they
didn't
give
you
another
room!?"
Exactly.
She
removed
about
$120
of
"fees"
from
our
total,
which
left
us
with
about
$1,000
bill
for
this
room
for
three
days.
This
is
still
WAY
too
much
for
the
quality-of-stay
we
experienced.
It
soured
an
otherwise
good
trip
to
NYC.
Update:
Perhaps
the
Owner
missed
the
first
sentence
of
my
review.
Let
me
repeat
it:
"...IT
WAS
NOT
A
GOOD
STAY."
