We
booked
at
the
Wellington
because
we
needed
a
hotel
in
a
great
location
that
offered
3
separate
beds
in
1
room.
The
Wellington
is
pretty
much
the
only
hotel
in
Manhattan
that
offers
a
3
bed/1
room
situation
with
fairly
reasonable
prices
(a
1
bedroom
suite
that
has
a
King
and
Queen
with
a
pull-out
couch
in
the
living
space).
Our
experience
was
made
better
when
the
receptionist,
Edward,
gave
us
a
great
deal
after
we
asked
him
about
discounted
rates
through
our
insurance.
The
room
was
very
spacious
and
convenient
as
it
offered
a
dining
table,
kitchenette,
plenty
of
desk
space,
3
closets,
and
tv's
in
both
the
bedroom
and
living
area.
We
needed
the
extra
space
because
we
were
traveling
with
a
large
manual
wheelchair,
so
the
room
fit
our
needs
perfectly.
The
downside
for
us
is
that
the
hotel
isn't
the
most
accessible
and
there
was
a
lot
of
construction
going
on
while
we
were
there.
We
had
to
ask
staff
to
lay
out
a
folding
ramp
every
time
we
wanted
to
enter/exit
the
hotel
and
there
was
only
1
working
elevator
that
allowed
us
to
get
to
our
room,
which
was
pretty
small,
as
were
the
hallways.
The
window
unit
air
conditioners
were
a
bit
noisy
and
leaked,
and
the
room
didn't
feel
the
most
clean.
Reception
is
also
understaffed
and
housed
in
a
small
window
space,
so
we
had
to
wait
in
line
when
checking
in
and
out.
For
what
we
paid
though,
it
was
a
decent
hotel.
