We stayed in 2 queen bed room with kids for 4 nights. Fantastic location - walking distance to Times Square, Top of the Rock, TopView Bus Service, intrepid museum and circle line cruise. Several restaurants around with good halal food options. The rooms were spacious with memorable view of both Hudson River and Manhattan. Everyday the staff cleaned the room. Most evenings you find elite crowd in first floor lined up for 2 good restaurants. Some things missing are complimentary breakfast, free water in rooms and no coffee/tea. Since it’s located in Hell’s Kitchen, nearby grocery stores had good breakfast options.

This is a decent place if you find a good deal but they fall short on the expectation of a 4* hotel. Their room is adequately spacious and clean with basic amenities. But there is a huge room for improvement. The biggest problem is that our bathtub drain slowly clogs while showering. They don't have a smart tv nor provide free water bottles every day. We couldn't try their rooftop lounge because it was unexpectedly closed for 2 days during our stay. The location isn't prime but workable. Overall, it's fine if you are outside most of the day and don't expect outstanding service. Their staff is efficient and helpful enough but not very attentive. I'm going to give them an extra * (3/5 to be fair) for the fact that they're accommodating my early check-in request.

The location was ideal close but too in the mix. We ended up booking via third party, not direct and it was a misunderstanding when checking in. The third party site indicated the hotel would choose my room and did not allow me to select 2 beds. We were traveling with my family of 5 so we have our 3 children with us. Once we checked in we were informed the only room available was for 1 king bed. After probing a bit more we were then informed they had a suites available for more space but would not accommodate a complimentary upgrade and I’d have to pay $250 more. My stance is if the suite room was available that would mean it was not reserved so instead of offering a better stay and customer experience with the upgrade they choose to not let offer it. We were very uncomfortable the entire stay and I’m very bothered to even have to leave this sort of review based off Kimpton being the best of the best as far as customer experience. I feel the front desk staff was very off putting and showed no empathy. I’ll be sure to email corporate with this issue as I feel we were treated this way simply because we didn’t book direct. We were asked multiples time if it was a direct booking or third party; in my opinion that shouldn’t determine the level of experience one has.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. For $700+ a night you think they’d at least replenish the toilet paper in the room. stars. The hotel offers no assistance with luggage, no one to assist checking people in, no one to replenish water bottles or anything else paid for from the mini bar, and a fake out "in-room dining" button on the phones). The rooms are configured incredibly weird - my bed faces the door. It was barely made when I arrived. To add insult to injury, this hotel doesn’t believe in service apparently. I never got a refill of toilet paper or bottled water during my entire five nights stay. I had to call down to management every morning. I do appreciate the manager waiving the resort fee as…this was far from a resort. The view could not be worse. Shall I go on...? Will never stay here again.

Was here for a private event, and this hotel made it really convenient to stay and attend the event. Nothing negative happened, but it honestly is not a 4 star hotel. Nobody offered to help us with our bags. No bottled water in the room (neither complimentary nor for purchase), and no in-room coffee maker. I expect the basics like a coffee pot and a bottle of water from a 3 star hotel, to be honest. Very chic decor, especially in the public spaces. The rooms were very pretty and more spacious than I expected, but the bathroom door is not private whatsoever. The bathroom "door" in our room is a piece of frosted glass that does not fill up the door opening nor does it lock. It's like a designer wanted to suggest the idea of a door but without the functionality. If you're the type of person who normally closes the door when you use the restroom, that is not really possible here.

Newer rooms w/ good space for NY. Location a bit “off”. Loud music from the neighborhood roof top bar on Saturday night. No coffee maker in the room. Good bed comfort (2 Queens). Service is modest at best. No bfst options in Hotel unless you consider “brewed coffee only” and stale croissants an option. The “Press lounge” is a great lounge but does not belong to the hotel - misleading advertising! Pictures on the website w/ a rooftop bar and pool while in fact, it is independently owned and not accessible for guests under 21 years of age. Not open until 4pm and only to serve drinks, not a Hotel LOUNGE for families. Hotel offers no features other than a room. Seems priced too high at $400/ night

I would like to express my deep disappointment regarding my last visit to your establishment. I was greatly looking forward to the opportunity to enjoy my stay at your hotel, considering the luxurious reviews and advertised high level of service. However, my experience was far from what I expected, which has caused my dissatisfaction. Long before my arrival, I communicated my preferences regarding the choice of room: I wanted to book a higher-floor room with a corner view to fully immerse myself in the atmosphere of your city, enjoying the views from above. Despite the fact that I timely communicated these preferences both in an email and through the reservation system, my requests were completely ignored without any explanation or offer of an alternative solution. My disappointment deepened when upon check-in, I was given a room on the very lowest floor of the category I had booked. This contradicts both my original preferences and the principles of quality service that I expected from a hotel with such a reputation and cost of accommodation. For any hospitality establishment, the most important aspect is respect for the personal wishes of the guests and providing services at an appropriate level. Disrespect for client requests and a lack of attempts to rectify the situation reflect not only on the service standards but also on the overall impression of the hotel. I hope that my feedback will be taken as an opportunity to improve the service and that future guests will receive more attention regarding their wishes and preferences. I would like to receive an explanation of what happened and to hear about the measures that will be taken to prevent similar situations in the future.

Nice hotel. The location was close to Manhattan Cruise Terminal which was very good for us. The room was clean and the staff was welcoming. 3 negative points to mention: 1. We asked for a room in a higher floor with view few months ago prior to our arrival, we didn't get any respond or a room as requested, that was disappointing since my wife is a photographer and she wanted to take pictures of NYC during evening/night time. 2. The bathroom is basic and simple, the toilet was clogged 3. The price is high and no breakfast included

We chose Ink48 as the main hotel in our wedding block and we are beyond happy with this choice! The front door staff, event planning staff and the rest of the Ink48 team were amazing! Sierra was the sales representative I spent the most time working with and she did so much to ensure that both me and my guests had a nice stay in the hotel. Overall the hotel is very well kept and has a modern look. The rooms are also large compared to other New York hotel rooms and the views are amazing! Thank you Ink48 for making my wedding weekend one to remember.

A great hotel located on the Hudson River close to all Manhattan has to offer. Clean ,spacious, bright rooms with everything you need for days stay or more. Pleasant staff whom are willing to help and offer any assistance they can. Their restaurant downstairs called the PRINT was amazing. A varied menu offering just about everything you could think of. Service again was tentative, personable, and very accommodating. We spent our honey moon here and will gladly visit again in the near future.

It's a lovely but worn hotel. Time for some general TLC and maintenance. No cold water from sink. Only two towels in bath. Dings in doors. Chipped paint. Furnishings that have been used by many and for many years and never replaced. A safe that didn't work. Simple washroom. Given what we paid (we stayed in one of the better rooms), was expecting something more luxurious/greater attention to detail.

We had the suite and it was clean, large and comfortable, however they locked us out of our room on the second day even though we had paid for 2 nights and then we were still double charged my wife for our stay after we left. The location was great, very inclusive and friendly. It was close to so many different food spots and activities.

This hotel is great!! They allowed us to make a very last minute reservation and we were able to check in to a room very quickly. The staff was incredibly nice and always greeted us and offered to watch our bags or if we needed anything. The rooms were very nice and comfortable! I would definitely stay here again :))

This hotel is so nice with the ambiance of modern and chill from the lobby to the actual rooms. I never thought I'd get such a nice hotel to stay in. One of the lobby assistants Chris was excellent in guiding us from our Uber to getting checked in and even offered a few nice food options for us to check out. He really made our visit to New York feel welcomed. "Thanks bro!" Lastly I loved the fact it used to be a printing press and although the hotel is top tier I wish it had a room where one can relish in its past of being a printing press. Like a history room so to speak!

We loved our stay here. We stayed a week and everything is clean and updated. It gets a 4 star because my moms room was having some big electrical issues that we made sure to tell the front desk every time we came or left, but nothing got done the entire week. Also, dont bother going to the cafe downstairs because the food was stale and so was the lady’s attitude… you’ll know which lady if you try to go. Overall though, it was a great stay. The hotel staff is wonderful!!

Totally fine, but not 4 stars. Staff super friendly but no coffee in the room, no water in the room and poor noise insulation on outdoor windows. Restaurant charges $4.5 for average drop coffee and won’t refill..that kind of place. It’s fine, but definitely nothing special

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. First of all the pictures of the room on their website were deceiving. I payed for a terrace suite and they put me in a small room with no sofa or desk or any of the things shown in the pictures online. Then I tried to order a movie to watch on demand and it wasn't working they spent the entire day sending an engineer to the room disturbing our privacy and we still never got to watch a movie. Please do yourselves the favor and pick a different place don't make the same mistake I did. Never coming back here again

Me and my family were generally put off by all the recent ratings, however when we got to the Hotel it was a different story. The door man and Check in gentlemen were polite and helpful. We were upgrade twice for no reason and the cleaning ladies were great ! The View was tremendous and the room luxuries, we'd definitely recommend staying here. I assume the negative reviews were bots because most just were not true. We also got accommodated with a extra tv and mini fridge free of charge and the Main attractions were well within reach.

My fiance and I made a quick one-night trip to the city to see a show, and stayed at INK 48 because it was a favorite hotel my fiance had stayed in 5-years ago. We stayed in a Hudson River Suite and were pleased with the generous size of the room, the comfort of the bed, and the "WOW" factor of the sweeping views from the floor to ceiling windows. I should mention in fairness, the "view" of this side of New York isn't terribly interesting or beautiful, and you're in a bit of a fishbowl to the neighboring building - but the wall of windows makes an already large room feel even more expansive. There were discomforts in our stay, but I understand that everyone is suffering from COVID-19 fall-out. Staff, if available at all, isn't the cream of the crop, and we're all getting by as best as possible with supply chains, money, and restrictions on everything tightening by the minute. I don't pretend to know what it takes to run a hotel the size of INK 48 even in the best of times, but would agree with others who have commented that the hospitality level doesn't meet the expectation of 4-stars, I'm sure many hotels are experiencing at this time.

I checked out a day earlier than I expected. First of all I fell in the elevator because someone dropped ice on the floor that wasn’t cleaned up in a timely matter. Not to mention I’m disabled, if it wasn’t for the nice lady in the hallway I don’t know how long it would have taken me to get up. Secondly, the front desk manager came to my room assisting that I needed to check out at 12 for the next guest. I tried to explain to her I made two prepaid reservations for this room. But she didn’t want to listen and she was rude. I went downstairs To verify that I was the pending guest , she would have known if she checked her information thoroughly. I understand people make mistakes but her approach to the situation was less than professional. I must say she was the only one that was less than professional , everyone else was more than pleasant. She need a training course on customer relations.

Have stayed here for over 15 years. 2021 incredibly run down. Have not had our room cleaned for 2 days. Apparently, we were supposed to ask the front desk for this service...How we were to know? We pressed the button next to our door each day to clean room. I guess this is no longer valid? Terrible customer relations. DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms are sad and staff is no Bueno. Covid killed this hotel. Kimpton Get your you know what together.

Stay was just okay. Check in was easy. Customer service was good. We had our do not disturb light on and house keepers still came in our room while we were gone. Not okay! Our room had very stained carpet and chairs , they then upgraded me to a room on the upper level and still stained carpets and chairs making it uncomfortable to walk or sit on. Disappointed in that especially for $300+ a night. Views were okay. Comfortable bed & loved the shower. I wouldn’t come back tho but thanks anyways for the stay.

Perfect if you are going to the cruise terminal. The rooms are so nice and spacious, the beds are so comfy we didn’t want to leave. Our flight landed so early and the hotel actually allowed us to check in early. 5 stars from that alone. We had this huge soaking tub and that was amazing. Definitely, would stay here again and the staff had good recommendations on dinner/food places to try.

This hotel is ideal for anyone looking for a place to stay before your cruise. It is only a 2 minute walk to Pier 88. When we arrived at the hotel, the woman at the front desk was polite and professional. She had a very sweet demeanor and was very helpful. There was also a gentleman working who told us about the attached restaurant and their hours. He suggested a small Bodega down the street for snacks and such. They had the best prepared food there. My husband went back for breakfast the next morning. The room looked very nice and mostly clean. The couch was stained, but comfortable. Do not use any one the items at the bar. They are very expensive.

We stayed in the premier studio with my fiancee. the bathtub bed shower and the view was very nice. The view of the 9th floor was really great. but besides these, some negative things happened. The gel put by the hotel for the bathtub had been used before. We called the reception and they told us this situation and they sent us a lot of gel shampoo. There was a pet bottle that was opened and drunk in advance. There was enough towels in the room, it was very good. But there was no room slippers. When we asked the attendant, he said that the slippers were over in the hotel. When we checked in to the hotel, we paid the hotel fee and a deposit of 100 dollars. They told us that the $100 would be deposited to the bank in 2 working days, but even though 1 week had passed, the money was still very nice in our account. The room was very nice in terms of location and interior design. calm and times It was close to its square.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay during our trip to nyc. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We requested slippers and they delivered them promptly. As we were situated on the sixth floor, there was not any view per se. However, We thoroughly enjoyed the artistic decor and space of the room. Bath tub in our room was a nice touch. They also have a rooftop bar with great night view of the city skyline which we will have to visit next time. My only star deducted was because it does get pretty noisy at night from the traffic and some loud guests in the hallway. Location wise, It’s also conveniently located near Times Square, and Hudson yards, so we were able to take a stroll and enjoy the city vibe. There’s a pretty decent bakery near the hotel too, which became our breakfast destination during our stay here.

This hotel was incredible! The staff was attentive and very accommodating. Location was great. And the rooftop bar has breathtaking views. Price was very reasonable compared to surrounding hotels. Room was very clean and spacious. There's a very cute rooftop cantina right across the street with good food and vibes. Copacabana nightclub was right around the corner. Overall great experience. I will be staying there again when I return to NYC.

I cannot wait to come back! The rate was very reasonable given what this hotel offers. The staff was polite, patient and super helpful! The rooms were BIG and CLEAN! The rooftop was fabulous even with fog and light rain. Truly an impeccable spot. Worth every penny! Plus you are walking distance to literally everything!

We flew into NYC a couple days early to visit prior to going on a cruise. We were treated very well from the second we walked into the door and the concierge was attentive and welcoming. Most importantly the room was very clean! We stayed over the weekend and the hotel was surprisingly quiet during the overnight hours. A great hotel experience and we would return. My only complaint is the rooftop bar. Not really as much of a complaint but an FYI. We were told there is a family happy hour from 5 to 6 on the rooftop. We decided to take the kids to view the skyline prior to leaving for dinner. It didn't take long to realize we really weren't welcome there. They refused to let my wife in due to open toed shoes however there were several women wearing opened toes shoes. She changed into different shoes then we were refused service because we had children with us. Not sure why that's a policy.

Located in midtown Manhattan’s Hells Kitchen neighborhood ink 48 has a lot to offer. Rooms with a view of the river, roof top bar great restaurant it offers all. Clean rooms and great service. What was most shocking is the sizes of the rooms as anyone who visits NY knows rooms in hotels that offer great locations are on a smaller size not in ink 48. As for the location Hells Kitchen is one of the most vibrant neighborhoods of NY offering many great restaurants and bars. Located only few blocks away from Times Square it is ideal for anything you can expect from NY. Especially for visitors of Javits center ink 48 is located only 7 min of walk away making it ideal destination.

Great design. Railroad style rooms with the living room being the first room when You enter. Beautiful woods furnishings throughout and a medium size couch in the living room. Bedrooms are standard but distant to the door which is great for privacy. Bathrooms are standard but toilets are placed within a nook of the room which gives them enough distance and privacy that two individuals can use the bathroom simultaneously. Staff was friendly and intrusive. My only regret is that I did take pictures so management if you see this give me another night ;).

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are beautiful and modern. I highly recommend booking a Hudson Suite. The front office staff treats you like family and are very personable. Special thank you to Andrew, Ivan, Sergio, Daniel, Darnell, Kareem, Mussah, and Jose for taking care of me whenever I am in town. Housekeeping is also great. Thank you Dana, Carline, and team. The Rooftop bar The Press Lounge has beautiful views of the city and the manager Meg N. is so friendly! Looking forward to my next stay.

Pros: Pretty hotel. Service was excellent. Good location and minimal noise. Nice view of the river and Intrepid. Cons: the room was SMALL, especially for the price. Maybe the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in and I've been to Europe.🙂 The super-cool sounding rooftop bar was closed until 1030 on a Sat night. We sat in the bar at Print, which was nice, but no views of the city.

I am a travelling student from Kazakhstan and I stayed here in the end of August. We had an early bus coming to NY and had nowhere to stay that day. However, the front desk was very helpful and allowed us to check in early and more importantly, gave us free upgrade. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name, but J, thank you so much for making our trip even brighter 🥰! Room was clean and comfortable from inside. Especially, I liked the view we had. Certainly recommended!

The morning concierge was nice and respectful. He offered us a better size bedroom for the same price. It was well appreciated due to, we were with a child. However, the "night shift manager," (according to his words), was rude and without manners at all! I'm starting to think this kind of person deserves to get back to school so he can learn good manners and how to treat guests properly!

Our 7 night stay here was fantastic. Housekeeping staff were great, front door staff were very friendly and helpful, greeting us throughout the stay, and the room was clean spacious and very comfortable as a home base for us. Quiet location, the gym was decently equipped, and the location was great if you are good with a little walk to the subway. We loved the walking on our trip. I would recommend it 100% when staying in Manhattan and would stay again. Only issue and I gotta say something.. As we were leaving I went to tip the door staff member who had helped us out with bags, restaurant recommendations and suggestions, throughout our stay he was fantastic and more than propped up the brand and our experience! ..But get this, the other staff member behind the desk who got our name wrong on checkout, offered no help, didn't even ask if we enjoyed our stay decided to hold his hand out, shaking it to beg for a tip, "where is mine..." He says ... I mean he didn't even talk to us before this, it was unexpected and unprofessional, don't just expect and beg for a handout. Maybe I am expecting alot from NYC, but the level of professionalism from the rest of the staff set the bar so high. Overall though great time here.

From the Bellman Chris Ortiz, to front Desk Cilas, to security, to the housekeeping staff; I could not find one bad thing to say, only great things! They are all very kind, professional, welcoming, work hard to make sure all guests are feeling their best. I highly recommend Ink 48 Hotel not only for their prices but the staff! They really make you feel heard, seen, and well taken care of. This is a gem, I will be coming back here in my future visits, and will recommend all family, friends, and encourage future potential guests to choose Ink 48 Hotel. One negative I have to say is not about Ink 48 Hotel, it is about The Press Lounge roof top and their staff. They were horrible and I would not wish anyone who wants to have a great memory of New York to go visit there. From their staff to manager, they were horrible. When I took a short moment to step away from my drink, they threw it away and then refused to make me the drink. Initially, I tried to be understanding, but they were the ones who treated me poorly. I even agreed to not have the drink and just for a refund of my drink for $21, and yet they also refused that. Push came to shove, and they offered me to chug down 3 shots instead. I said no, then they offered me a cheap margarita, but want to still charge me $21 for it. It was completely absurd and down right disrespectful. The staff was all male, and I believe they discriminated me for being a woman as well.

Certainly! Here's a sample Google review for Ink 48 Hotel in New York City: --- Title: A Chic and Comfortable Stay in the Heart of NYC Review: My recent stay at Ink 48 Hotel in New York City was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an effortlessly chic ambiance. The hotel's location in Midtown is ideal for exploring the city, with many attractions just a short walk or cab ride away. My room was a haven of comfort and style, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. The bathroom, equipped with modern amenities, added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. The hotel's rooftop bar is a must-visit. It offers stunning panoramic views of Manhattan and the Hudson River, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail in hand. The staff at the bar, as well as throughout the hotel, were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a delightful experience. Had a great experience here! The room was lovely, and better than advertised. The bar and restaurant had delicious food and lots of options. Check in staff was very nice and helpful. Took off 1 star only because the prices are a little high (room and restaurant), and it took the bell person way too long to check our bags in the morning. Other than that- very decent option.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure! Beautiful room, comfortable beds. Very clean rooms. Great location near the intrepid water front location. 10 min walk to time square and also to the vase park. Overall the hotel was nice. Staff was very friendly and well aware of safety precautions all wearing mask and signs for social distancing.

Despite many trips to NYC and Manhattan, this was out first stay in the Hell's Kitchen area. I booked the hotel on the Amex site. Prices were reasonable, location was great and the staff were friendly and cordial. Shout out to Marilyn. She is awesome. Went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give us ideas and suggestions. The room upgrade with an awesome view of the Hudson was the cherry on the cake. Loved our stay and will go back again.

Spectacular service and location. The views are unbeatable. My husband and I just had our second stay there, and it was perfect. Nice pick if you don’t want to be sleeping in all the Time Square hustle but still want to be close by.

This was my first time to NYC. I was traveling with two kids and during a pandemic. I was a little nervous and didn’t know what to expect at all. When I got to the hotel around 7pm the front desk could not find our reservation. I had my confirmation email and my code and my payment receipt, but none of that mattered. It wasn’t in the system. A really nice young man named DK was so sweet and understanding. He talked to me the entire time and worked with me to come up With a solution. I ended up having to rent another room for the night and the next day it was all straightened out. DK called when I got to my suite and wanted to make sure everything was ok for us. He then checked on us the following day. I can’t tell you how comforting it was to feel like you have a friend in a new city when your alone with your kids. Thank you DK! You made our trip so much better just knowing that we could come to you with questions or concerns. Our junior suite was the perfect size for the three of us! The press lounge and suite has views that are absolutely stunning! That was my time at the end of each long day! The hotel was in a great location just minutes to Times Square, Hudson yards, Chelsea market, and Central Park! The front door staff was helpful and caring and was courteous enough to hail us a cab every morning. Thank you DK, staff at the door, and press lounge for making us feel at home while staying at ink 48 ❤️❤️

We booked a quick weekend getaway for my birthday through Amex's Hotel Collection program. Everything from check-in to the complimentary upgrade automatically to check-out was smooth and flawless. We were given an incredible corner room with views of snowcapped Manhattan and NJ. Shoutout to DK and the staff for making it a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is in a great location; walking distances to the piers and restaurants in Hell's Kitchen. The rooms and bathroom are spacious for NYC standards, with ample natural light. Would recommend!

Spent a weekend getaway at Ink48 and had a fantastic time! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The junior suite we stayed in was very clean and super comfortable. We had diner at Print. and thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The area has lots of other restaurants and tons of coffee shops. Highly recommend!!!

Staff is very welcoming and attentive. Rooms are a great size considering you’re in NYC, you won’t be disappointed. Press, the rooftop lounge area is a great concept, with an amazing ambience and views of the city. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and great at their craft. I genuinely look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great hotel overlooking the Hudson -definitely get a room with a view !! Gym was small but nice and adequate. Not many in room amenities unless you request but room was very clean - housekeeping staff and all the staff we encountered were great. Breakfast at Print in lobby was pricey but good. Market in walking distance - borrow the bike and hit the greenway!

Make sure to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. They compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure! This hotel is great!! They allowed us to make a very last minute reservation and we were able to check in to a room very quickly. The staff was incredibly nice and always greeted us and offered to watch our bags or if we needed anything. The rooms were very nice and comfortable! I would definitely stay here again :))

Fantastic anniversary experience. Highly recommend it if you're bringing your puppy. We came in with our four-legged son. The staff was incredibly accommodating and very personable. The room service lady was amiable and accommodated all our requests. Great views from the city away from all the buzz, but still at an excellent distance to walk everywhere. Dog-friendly without many restrictions.

Spacious, clean and modern. Amazing front desk staff made the experience all the better. Loved the huge bath in the room too! The rooftop bar has great views and nice seating areas, didn’t explore many of the other amenities. Would stay here again if I’m forced to do biz meetings in Hudson yards or times square. Thanks Ink48 for a great stay!

We are super pleased with our decision to stay at the Ink 48 Hotel during our trip to New York City this summer. Don’t let its affordable price scare you away. It is simply a great value for your money! The Ink 48 Hotel is in a great location—less than a 15 minute walk from Times Square. It is staffed with truly kind and welcoming employees—special thanks to Ivan and Ryan for helping us out! And it offers one of the best views of the city skyline in its very own rooftop bar—the Press Lounge. It is also very clean and gives off a hip, modern vibe. We will be sure to choose Ink 48 for our next stay in NYC.

We were worried because before COVID the experience with the staff had not been that great. This time the staff was awesome! From the person downstairs at the elevator to our server everyone was amazing! The wine list could be better but they made a great dirty martini.

We had the best long weekend at this hotel. We were greeted warmly at the desk, and were upgraded to spectacular room on the 17th floor. The ceiling to floor windows had the most unbelievable view. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. The best was extremely comfortable. The rooftop bar is so beautiful and fun. The views are fantastic. The hotel is situated in a great, and very safe area. It is walking distance to so many attractions. The concierge was so helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I really wished it had a coffee maker in the room. We really would have enjoyed that very much, and it would have made our mornings less hectic. But, if you want a great and luxurious stay in the city this is a fantastic hotel. You will love it here.

Something has happened to this hotel- last two bookings have been complete nightmares. Today they completely left me hanging with no room and didn't even bother to notify me until I was standing at the lobby desk. Same two guys at front desk both of last two visits......couldn't care less about the issues and I was the calm one of everyone in the lobby. They have turned into a hot hot mess......go elsewhere. Never again.

I can't say enough about this hotel and the service I received. I booked this with my AmEx platinum as part of their hotel collection at the referral of the concierge and I was totally PLEASED. Honestly, after I booked it I checked the reviews and was a little hesitant because some of the reviews were sketchy but I found nothing the naysayers said to be true other than the music from the club nearby is kind of loud but it ended pretty early and it wasn't that big of a deal. Now for the details... Am Ex had already automatically given me a $200 statement credit for booking and I was also to received $100 credit to spend at the hotel and a free room upgrade. I checked in early (before 12) and was told that there was no upgrade available for my stay because they were fully booked. This was a letdown as I was ready for those floor to ceiling windows and that Hudson view. Ryan was more than nice by letting me go see the available room types he had & letting me check in early, he even waived the daily fees for me so that saved my another $90+ which was extremely nice. I was also given a later check out by another Front Desk person at no additional cost and the Bellman Musa was very nice as well. I forget the name of Ryan's co-worker that was there when I checked in as he was very nice and helpful too. The room I had was 808 with windows on two sides of the room, the room was HUGE and the bathroom was very nice. The place was also spotlessly clean. I used my $100 credit in the restaurant to have dinner one night and the food was ok but needed salt, lol. The location is perfect and I will stay there time and time again now.

I would’ve liked to rate higher but a number of factors prevented me from doing so: 1.) The price transparency needs to be better. What I thought was going to be a $400 two night stay ended up being closer to $600 after every tax and fee imaginable was added and I had called in a was told the price I was paying includes such fees and taxes (occupancy fee, amenity fee, state tax, local taxes, tourism assessment fee, etc.) After looking at my bill I in fact noticed I was charged these fees twice (payed double) what I should have. I called to get it fixed and was told there was nothing that could be done as I was obligated to pay those fees. I wasn’t disputing the fees, just the fact I had paid some of them twice. If I wanted to pay $600, I could’ve had a nicer location downtown, closer to transportation, and on a higher floor. 2.) The location isn’t all that great. It’s out of the way and far from the nearest subway stop which is on me for not checking before booking. But thought I’d share any way. 3.) The staff was friendly and the room was clean but I don’t think I’ll be booking again in the future.
