We stayed 6 nights. The location is great and if you are on a floor which is a bit higher up the city noise is still there but you can manage. The service at the Artezen is great. The staff is very nice and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job every time. The concierge was helpful too. There are just little things that could be improved. First - the rooms aren't very big - in fact they are on the smaller side which we knew going in. But that is also the reason why you need more options to put your stuff. There are no hangers on the walls for example. The one small closet in the room did smell not very good inside so hanging things inside wasn't an option. Another thing I don't understand: Carpet flooring. I am personally not a fan at all. Especially in hotels I think they are the worst idea. But overall we enjoyed the stay - we just needed the room for showering and sleeping. They have also a little gym btw.

Our stay at the Artezen was truly fantastic (and we've stayed at many different hotels around the city). From the moment you enter the hotel, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism. We didn't encounter a single member of the hotel staff that wasn't friendly. The lobby is clean, elegant and it smelled great, too. The hotel itself is well situated (for being near Wall Street) and close to public transit. The rooms (we stayed in two different ones, after a last-minute cancelled flight) are larger than what you'd typically expect in New York, well-appointed, and modern. The only things I'd recommend to management (which doesn't warrant docking a star, but is worth noting): 1. There is nowhere to hang a coat. There's wall space aplenty, so I'd recommend installing coat hangers; and 2. The shower head doesn't move, so one needs to stand directly below it or use the handheld. A new, movable shower head would be welcomed by many, I'm sure. That's it. An otherwise exceptional stay, and I'd gladly choose Artezen again on our next visit to the city.

This hotel was great. The hospitality was great and friendly. The king size bedroom was good a decent size and clean. The location is great too so many places that is walking distance and the train station is across the street. Definitely would come back here to stay again.

It was a lovely hotel. We were on one of the top floors and the lift was not working for a couple of days so that was a bit frustrating. The hotel is very close to various metro stations, WWC memorial and museum, lots of shops cafes and bars around. Staff is polite, you can borrow an umbrella on a rainy day, they can keep your luggage safe if you want to store it for the day. The room service is great and rooms overall are of very high standard. There is now a rooftop bar upstairs which is cool as well.

I definitely enjoyed my stay here. They were very accommodating when I arrived and helped me with any problems that arose. I was able to have my room cleaned daily even with the COVID restrictions. The location of the hotel was perfect and the subway stations were on each corner, which made maneuvering around the city so much easier and convenient. The shops were within walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The ABSOLUTE CLEANEST hotel I have ever stayed in! The service was EXCELLENT! The staff went above and beyond even at 2am when we realized we were out of shampoo! The beds and the pillows were the BEST! I NEVER travel without my own pillows but i was forced to this time however it didn't matter because the pillows there surpassed my own! I would definitely stay there again! This was my 1st time in NYC and the Artezen made it easy and perfect!

I will say I was a little apprehensive before our stay because of the reviews. They seemed too good to be true 😂, but this place was amazing and I can’t wait to go back. First, the staff—they were kind, well-mannered, and all helpful individuals. The reviews said the hotel smelled good, and yes it did! It was the first thing I said to my partner when we walked in. We had a room with a terrace which was larger than I had imagined and well kept. The terrace was nice and relaxing too, but as a heads up you may have neighbors (there’s privacy though)! It was so nice to step back into peace and comfort after exploring such a busy and noisy city. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nicer stay in lower Manhattan :)

Great experience at the Artezen! Nice building and walking distance to so many different things! Amazing, attentive and very helpful staff. Only minor thing was it was highly recommended that I take one of their flat rate car service partners to the airport instead of an uber/lyft because of surge rates due to the weather and time of day (which made sense to me). I asked the gentleman who setup the service if they take card payments and he said yes, only to find out mid car ride to the airport that it was cash only. Luckily I had enough on me to pay for the ride but still would have like to known that ahead of time. Other than that, overall great experience.

Me and my family have stayed here many times. Everyone there is like family to us now. Everyone is so kind and the service is amazing! Carmelo is amazing! He gives so much information about the city that most people don’t know and has the best recommendations of places! I moved to New York in 2021 and they helped me store a good bit of my bags there while I was moving into my place. My family even stayed and they treated them like family. 100% recommend this place I will always stay here when I go back to New York!

Fantastic boutique hotel with great staff in a perfect location (literally across the street from the Fulton St subway hub). The rooms are beautiful, modern, and spacious. Really, really excellent. When we come back to NYC, we won't consider staying anywhere else.

The ratings for this place do not lie. This hotel has some of the warmest and most professional staff I’ve met at any hotel. The location is also amazing as it’s very close to a ton of subway lines and a skip away from Wall Street. The room we stayed in was cozy, modern, and very well kept. Checking in and checking out was simple. This was our first time in New York City and it made the stay all the more amazing because we didn’t need to worry about anything hotel-wise. Really happy we stayed here.

Fantastic, very convenient and well-kitted out hotel in a great Downtown location. I had a Deluxe King Room with a little Terrace for two nights and loved it. The Gym with attached Yoga room was a really pleasant find and well-kitted out for a small, functional space. Daniel and all of the other staff were exceptional. Professional, friendly and lovely - Apart from one more overweight, older male member of the door team who was very curt and rude with me for no reason, trying to order me around. Didn't see his name but he let the team down and was also slow to offer assistance or locate my bags being stored. The front of house team were pleasant and helpful when I arrived early AM after a very long flight, offering me a key to the 3rd floor bathroom to change and freshen up before exploring the City until check-in time. Touches like this are so helpful, welcome and make a big difference to guest's experience. The room was exceptionally clean, fridge was well-stocked when I checked-in, very comfy bed and all of the fixtures and fittings being functional with little touches like USB sockets in the lights are very convenient. Also very quiet with good sound insulation. A true traveler's dream! Kudos to the housekeeping team - Thank you. Don't hesitate to book a stay here.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Artezen for an anniversary weekend trip. Our hotel experience was excellent! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room was perfect for two people, and neither of us felt cramped for space. The room and bathroom were clean, with great water pressure. I loved that there were snacks, water, and a Nespresso machine included in the cost of our room. It's a great location for a hotel, with several close-by subway stops and attractions. We will definitely consider staying again the next time we're in NYC!

You're paying a 4-star price for a 5-star service. First time in NYC and I've heard horror stories about 3-star hotels and less (which in the Midwest is a great standard). I wanted to be somewhere safe and comfortable. This hotel was phenomenal. The room is small, but it's NYC. Bed was great. Very clean. Lobby was clean and the service was great. I really enjoyed our four nights here. Don't stay in the touristy places. This is a great value right next to Fulton station with quick access to the entire city. Great bar across the street with lots of little shops nearby.

I love the Artezen! From the moment we walked in the door, our experience was top notch. The staff immediately made us feel welcomed. Courteous, respectful, and kind. The hotel was super clean and comfortable, a perfect Boutique. Fantastic location. I've stayed in many places in the city, and I will definitely stay here again soon!

Recently stayed here for a 5 night stay in September. Hotel is in a great location, accessible to loads of subway stations and World Trade Center for PATH trains elsewhere. Many tourist attractions are within walking distance (ferry to Statue of Liberty for example). The hotel is also within walking distance to Little Italy, Chinatown and the Brooklyn Bridge. Staff are very helpful, friendly and kind. Daniel (Concierge) was an outstanding member of the team, always willing to give advice and offer hospitality. This was much appreciated and went a long way when we were new to New York City. Rooms were clean and tidy with all the facilities you need. Considering it is in NYC, it was very quiet overnight which allowed for good recovery time from busy days exploring the city. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay.

Great hotel, location is very good. Coffee machine in rooms is a nice touch. Few disappointments-no acknowledgment of a birthday during our stay, there were notes on the booking and reception were also aware but too busy taking the credit card deposit to even wish a happy birthday. The transfer back to the airport ended up being $99 when we were told it was a $90 flat rate. Overall good stay would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean. The service was phenomenal. Loved the Nespresso in the rooms. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. It was pricey though but you get what you pay for.

The hotel was extremely nice and clean! And smells wonderful! It is located in walking distance for all the touring of NYC (9/11 memorial, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty). The staff were extremely helpful and nice. It was also really quiet for being in the city. I also recommend the rooftop bar located on the 20th floor of the hotel, best drinks we have ever had!

Stayed here for 10 nights and have nothing but positive comments. The staff are all super friendly and personable. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. Located seconds from Fulton St station which links directly to JFK. The lobby also smelt really nice all the time which my GF wants to know the scent! Would definitely look to stay here again.

This boutique hotel is not associated with any brand names. They offer clean spacious rooms at reasonable prices. The rooms are clean and staffs are friendly. Also this hotel provides discounted parking at a nearby parking garage. Make sure talk to the front desk for where to park and discount code.

One individual at the front desk was a little rude. However all the other staff was over the top nice. We did book this hotel partly because they had a bar and restaurant on the 20th floor, however while checking in we were told it was closed. Clean rooms, nice towels. Miguel who helped with luggage was particularly delightful.

Wonderful boutique hotel the staff were so very helpful and accommodating. David the concierge was so helpful taking care of our luggage, helping us arrange for our tour for the day and arranging a town car to take us to the airport. The beds and rooms were very comfortable. Close to many attractions. I would stay here again.

This place really sells themselves well. Unfortunately the product is faulty at best. We got a “balcony” room with the view of two apartment buildings and an air vent that went off every 15 minutes and sounded like a construction zone. The balcony also had a surveillance camera pointed directly at us. This was never disclosed beforehand and made me extremely uncomfortable. I called to switch rooms, even if it was a down grade and they told me they were full for the night but would check for the next day. We were never notified the next day of an opening. The room was dark at all times of day, I will attach a photo of what the room looked like at noon when the sun is supposed to be at its highest. The room had a fruit fly infestation, they were all over the bathroom. The google chromecast kept disconnecting, and the wifi was so slow it had to load every minute or so. I really don’t understand what we paid $350 a night for. Don’t make the same mistake we did, stay elsewhere, you have been warned!

We finally emerged from our "Covid cocoon", fully vaccinated and masked and drove from outside Boston to the BIG city for the 5 Boro Bike ride. Carmelo welcomed us, directed us in unloading out front and getting our car parked. We settled into our clean room with big windows (unfortunately no rooms with terrace available). The ride was postponed due to Hurricane Henri and after seriously considering options headed home on Sat. So, our 3 night stay was shortened and after speaking with the manager we were refunded 2 nights. Since we had such a positive experience, we returned the following weekend for the ride & stayed for our 2 nights. Again wonderful service and a great stay. As we reflect on 9/11 I would like to express my heartfelt "socially distant" hugs to Carmelo, a 9/11 survivor and all of those who were at ground zero. The Memorial is quite a tribute to such a horrific attack. May we all find Peace and learn to live together in harmony as we reflect on all the losses and the impact on so many lives. We look forward to a return visit to wonderful NYC! Thanks to all & Be Well!

These men saved my life. Was stuck in nyc, phone dead at around 11pm. No store had a spot to charge my phone but this beautiful establishment had a charging port an immaculate bathroom. Thanks a lot to the amazing staff!

Beautiful and CLEANEST hotel! Very safe location and walking distance to so many delicious restaurants! The concierge Carmelo was a charm and helped tremendously with rides to the airport through their service! Highly recommend for girls trip, couples trip or traveling alone!

This hotel is an amazing hotel. The experience here was fantastic. The rooms are neat and smells good. Customer service is top notch. One of the workers “Carmelo” often use this term “We’re here for you” which literally sums up the whole experience - The whole crew were there for me and made my time special.

Clean? …check Comfortable? …check…even though the rooms are on the small side…but again what rooms are big in New York? Amenities? …check Customer Service?…check Downtown?…check Reasonably priced?…check

I stayed here back in 2019, and I loved it! It was the perfect location. Right around the corner from the World Trade Center, and the subway station was so close it made it so easy for us to get around. The room was beautiful, and the staff was amazing. Our trip was solely to go to the Nintendo store, and my brother left his Nintendo store exclusive plushy there which we didn’t realize until minutes before boarding our flight. The staff went out of there way looking through the things the house keeper removed, and mailed it to us! I mean cmon who would do that? I hope to stay here again soon.

Very clean and centrally located hotel within walking distance to the seaport, Wall street, and former WTC. The rooms were compact and efficient, typical for an NYC boutique hotel. Only thing I did not like was that the hotel uses a very strong scent in the lobby/ hallways and you could smell it in the street. It was not a bad or cheap smelling scent and smelled like a spa but it was a bit excessive. Other than that I had no complaints. It's a block away from the Fulton St station so very convenient for getting away to anywhere in Manhattan/Brooklyn.

If i could give more than 5 stars, I would! Artezen was one of the best choice made in NYC. The mini bar was good and generous. Room size was better than I had expected. It was spacious and the bed quality can be counted on. The housekeeping staff is so amazing and receptionist always made our day with warm greetings and beautiful smiles. Words can’t do justice to how good Artezen has been for me! Thank you Artezen hotel.

I’m about to leave the hotel now but reflecting on my experience here overall.. it was pleasant experience despite the attitude I received from the woman whose hair is dyed a light brown color and I believe she wears glasses at the main desk in the lobby who is normally working there in the morning. I didn’t care to remember her name.. but I was having lactose intolerant symptoms and she was very rude when I asked her to ask housekeeping to come clean the bathroom. Unfortunately, I realized I was lactose intolerant during my stay here so there was nothing I could do initially because I never encountered lactose intolerant symptoms before. When I first asked it was two days ago but unfortunately housekeeping didn’t clean my toilet throughly.. just had someone come to unclog the toilet when I asked which I appreciated but due to them not cleaning the toilet rim and etc I ran into the same issue several times. Which I don’t entirely blame housekeeping for that but after the second day when I asked again and the toilet was not cleaned thoroughly I began to become frustrated. So the third day I was having this same issue but already took lactaid to calm down my symptoms. I went downstairs to ask for the toilet to be thoroughly and the woman I described earlier had such an attitude with me, explained that I already asked housekeeping to come several times and they have cleaned. I then showed her a picture of the full toilet seat and lid and which parts have not been cleaned and she said ok we’ll get housekeeping to come. I appreciate them coming to clean thoroughly this time around but why did that woman have to have an attitude with me. It was the way she said it not what she said. I had a pleasant experience besides that unpolite woman. Just made me feel like I was an inconvenience and hotel staff shouldn’t make guests feel that way. I understand why housekeeping probably didn’t want to clean but it’s what I asked for and I wished they cleaned it fully sooner.

This hotel is simply amazing. The cleanliness was something I really enjoyed during my stay. The staff was attentive and very polite. The one thing that pulled me away from other hotels was how modern the room looked and I was not dissatisfied. I was visiting NYC for a week long trip and coming back to a cleaned up room every night was great, housekeeping did an amazing job tidying up the room without touching much of my personal items. Location was great as well, really near Fulton Subway station, and easily accessible for Lyft/Uber car pickup. Overall, this hotel is definitely on my favorites list for when I return to the city.

Delightful hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful and the room was bright and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and great shower. Very close to the subway. Highly recommend

This is a terrific property with a great location. Furthermore, there are tons of eating spots, convenience stores, and things to do within a very short walk. The Brooklyn Bridge, WTC, Pier 11 are all very short (10-15 minutes) walks of the hotel. Best of all, there are subway stops right outside the door that make getting anywhere in the city a snap! The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and the rooms are well appointed. On the downside, the front end staff seemed very disinterested in me or how I was enjoying my stay. When interacting with them I got the vibe that I was bothering them and they were more interested in getting back to looking at their laptop screen instead of focusing attention on the guest. To be clear, I would stay here again in a heartbeat, but it would also be nice to feel a little more valued as a guest.

Fantastic hotel in walking distance to Ground Zero and the Financial District. Everything is clean and new and, above all, the hotel staff is outstanding! Real, honest friendliness and helpfulness! Rooms are modern and big enough and very clean with very good beds. Absolutely recommend! Look no further!

We booked this based on reviews although we were a little jealous of our daughters hotel located nearby as it seemed “better.” We could have not been more mistaken. The incredible friendly staff (and yes Carmelo is the lead) is an ever supportive, friendly and enthusiastic crew to make this location a pleasure to stay at. The facility itself is super clean, modern, a bit tight, but I would not hesitate to return here without hesitation. The location is actually really neat as it places you in the middle of the NYC motif of small shops, good food and access to everything. From Michelle and my hearts, thank you to all that made our stay very special.

Incredible place to stay if you're in NYC. You just can't beat the location, rooms were great (a little small but it's NYC) and the daily Fiji water & coffee cups were a nice touch. The staff here definitely stood out to me, super friendly & courteous. We received a couple of water bottles when we checked in after a long day of traveling which was very attentive, too. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in NYC.
