We had an amazing stay at The Kimberly. The staff was extremely attentive and the views from the rooftop were amazing. It has all the luxuries you would need, for a romantic, more intimate place to stay. You're in walking distance from fine dining, shopping, and so much more. I chose this hotel as part of a surprise proposal! We will definitely return for another visit.

Very up-scale. Very lovely marble, cream, and gold theme with stucco moldings. Their rooftop bar is top-notch. Their rooms are sizable, clean, and have balconies. They have excellent amenities, including a gym, a pool, and a sauna. Overall, The Kimberly is the best hotel in NYC that I know of.

My new favorite NYC hotel! First, it’s a beautiful and safe area very central for gallivanting the whole city, and the subway is less than a block away. LOVE that you can just pull up to the front, have the guys help you unload your luggage, hand them your keys and not worry about your vehicle till you leave. Love the beautiful and luxurious antique decor throughout the hotel. The best part is the size of the rooms. We stayed in the one bedroom suite with 2 full bathrooms and a terrace. There was so much space it felt like home. The balcony was the best part and we had a beautiful view of the city, especially when it started to snow! The staff are all so friendly and helpful as well. The rooftop lounge has a cool vibe, although it was storming so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside part, but I imagine it would be wonderful! Overall, really fantastic place to stay and I can’t believe how reasonably priced it is!

My mom & I stayed at The Kimberly for a week and we were so impressed with the entire experience. The location is fantastic, close to subway stations, many restaurants and shopping. We booked a one-bedroom suite and it was fabulous. So spacious and perfect with the kitchenette. The beds, including the sofa bed, were so comfortable! Best sleep I've ever had in a hotel. Our room had a balcony as well and we loved taking in the view of all the beautiful buildings in the area. Special shout-out to Gregory (and Happy Retirement, Gregory!), Jose and Ralph who all went above and beyond, during our entire stay, to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. If I am fortunate enough to return to NYC one day, I won't look to stay anywhere else but here. Thank you for making our week in Manhattan so very memorable and special!

Nestled in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, Kimberly Hotel is a gem! The location is unbeatable, placing you close to everything. The rooms are not just clean but impressively spacious, providing a comfortable retreat in the midst of the city buzz. The staff's friendliness adds a welcoming touch to the overall experience. A top-notch stay in the heart of NYC!

Overall, I had a very nice experience at the Kimberly. It’s an old hotel and so it has its charms. The front desk staff were lovely and provided wonderful recommendations to us throughout our stay. They were always very polite. The doormen were courteous and always willing to lend a helping hand. At one point, 2 of the 3 hotel elevators which go to the rooftop were out of service, making it a bit of a wait to get to the rooftop restaurant, but it was a minor inconvenience. We enjoyed our room (a two story, two bed/2 bath suite). It was the perfect room for us, as we welcomed a few guests during our stay. The only unfortunate aspect of our stay were ants in the downstairs bathroom of our suite. There were more than just a few, and they were a nuisance. We were only there for a night and noticed that it was a problem a little too late for us to have maintenance come and attend to the issue. The front desk was very apologetic when we mentioned it at checkout. Overall, a lovely stay.

I stayed at the Kimberly during a back surgery recovery. From the front desk, cleaners , restaurants (which are great) everyone was so kind and helpful. Truly one of the best experiences at a hotel I have had . I stayed 10 days and can't say enough about the entire staff. When I needed anything all I did was call and ask for some help since I was stuck on bed for while and they came with a smile and helped me. I will stay no where else. The food is outstanding as well, great location for sure for activities. HUGE thank you to the hotel and staff!! Steve

My husband and I spent a week at the Kimberly for our honeymoon stay and it was a wonderful experience! I had stayed here previously 15yrs ago and remembered it being very comfortable and spacious, and the accommodations still lived up to those expectations. The service is top notch and the location in Midtown is perfect! Located right down the street from St Patrick’s, Rockefeller Center, etc. Highly recommend staying here

I have been coming weekly to the Kimberly Hotel due to medical treatments at a nearby hospital. The Kimberly Hotel is truly a home away from home! With its elegance and AMAZING staff, it is truly a first class hotel. Their attentive staff expresses their kindness and professionalism that I have not experienced anywhere else. From Crystal in Reservations, Ralph and Ricky the doormen, Sadie at the Front Desk, and Arian at Upstairs the restaurant, there is no other hotel in NYC I’d rather be at! They have treated me with such care and kindness. Between their spacious comfortable rooms, phenomenal location, and professional caring staff, The Kimberly Hotel is the place to be! 🤩💗

My husband booked the Executive Suite at the Kimberly Hotel for my birthday. This hotel has old world charm! Our suite had a balcony, which you don't see often in NYC and a gorgeous bathroom with an impressive shower. From check in, this hotel was unlike so many others I frequent for business. The Guest Services Staff, MD, especially, was Exceptional! He made sure our every need was met. He heard we were celebrating my birthday and sent up a special treat. He made us a dinner reservation at the last minute. I fell in love with the coziness of the comforter and asked for the name of the brand. MD worked out for housekeeping to find one for me to purchase on a Sunday! He truly went above and beyond! We will definitely return to this beautiful hotel. Oh and don't miss the roof top lounge bar. Great view of the Chrysler Bldg.

Great location in midtown within walking distance of Saks, Rockefeller Center and even Broadway Shows. The room(one bedroom suite) was gigantic for NY standards. The housekeeping was superb, bed comfort and room cleanliness was spotless. The small , equipped kitchen and bar was very convenient and was great for snacks and drinks. Will stay again when in NYC.

The doormen were so cheerful and welcoming and attentive. it was great coming back here in the evenings after our busy days. Our suite was super clean, and the bedding, mattress, and pillows really comfortable. The balcony had a view of the Chrysler building too! The little kitchenette had a small fridge and sink and microwave, as well as plates, cutlery, glasses and mugs. Service and little details all 5 stars. Very happy to have found this place!

Amazing location within walking distance of Rockefeller Center and St Patrick’s Cathedral, but not so crowded around the hotel. Easy access to metro station to get anywhere in the city. I also loved the enclosed rooftop bar area, which had access to outdoor area with fireplace. Tip: reserve a room with a balcony!

I booked this place for a one night staycation for my girlfriend and I last Friday night for Valentine’s Day. She’s a nurse and barely gets any time off and this one night was soppose to be special. From check in to today it’s been a nightmare. We do go on vacations and stay at nice hotels and this was just terrible costumer service by the check in staff and till today. When we arrived the staff member had made multiple mistakes with our payment including charging the entire stay to both my debit card and credit card. They also then charged by 101 on both cards. This is not okay. Today when I called to dispute it with the hotel they acknowledged the mistakes and said it will take 5-7 days to see the return on only my credit card!!! So now I won’t be getting any points that I expected to be charging to my credit card. This is blatant theft. I am not rich and don’t expect a four star hotel to take advantage of people this way. What if I didn’t see the charge? They would of gotten away with charging double on different cards. This is not the kind of costumer service at a four star hotel. The rooms were old and run down. The shower didn’t stay hot for longer than 10 minutes so how could we even take a bath in the tub if we wanted to? No pool. Food on rooftop is just okay. The breakfast staff was excellent but the breakfast food- terrible. This place needs management help desperately but also need to be held accountable for mistakes and make it right in order to be a reputable business. Very disappointing. I would look elsewhere.

The hotel was great on my NYC trip - lovely rooms, old world charm, very comfortable, wonderful staff. I just have to take a star off for 2 things. First, the fitness center is just a tiny room, and didn't even have a full set of free weights. And second, the Upstairs at the Kimberly restaurant was closed for private events every single evening we were there, as well as on Sunday brunch. Since they advertise this as an amenity, it would be nice if they reserved a section of the Upstairs restaurant just for hotel guests, even if there is a planned event. We were very disappointed in this. Otherwise, it is a truly lovely hotel.

A classic hotel. We stayed in one of the Executive Suites. Very comfortable, spacious room. A lovely roof garden where we ate breakfast and we had dinner at the Empire Steakhouse adjacent to the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and provided excellent service. The bookcase had an interesting selection. I found an edition of the complete works of Katherine Anne Porter.

Oh wow!!!! Way toooooo much to say about this great hotel!!! Mr. Harry, the amazing doorman, Peter, awesome concierge, Ava, Angela, the entire team=golden!!! And it’s old school class-act beautiful! Great location too. We had this place and one in Time Square booked and chose The Kimberly and so glad we did! The space!! Already planning to return. We had the 2 bed suite with separate living area, kitchenette and balcony, fabulous!!! We even got caught in the snow storm the day we were suppose to leave and when our flights got cancelled they accommodated us so we were very comfortable for several hours before our departure. Rooftop restaurant/bar is so pretty!! Can hardly wait to return!!

We were greeted by the most pleasant staff that helped us with luggage and arranged for our car during our entire weekend visit. The front desk provided us with the a gorgeous room with a view and balcony. We were pleasantly surprised with a complementary cheese platter upon arriving in our room. The manager, Mr. Abrishamian, stopped by informing us about the amenities and recommended that we visit the rooftop lounge for drinks and meals recommendation during our stay. We highly recommend The Kimberly and look forward to returning in the future.

It was truly perfect! We had a very spacious suite, with a large balcony. The entire hotel has such beautiful decor, it feels like a palace! The beds are so comfy. The staff was very accommodating, so friendly, and helpful with all of our questions! And the location was quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. We have a new favorite in the city. We'll definitely be back!

I never leave reviews - but I must highly recommend this hotel. My family of 4 (2 kids under 10) had the best stay here. The main reason I chose it was for the room sizes; the rooms are super spacious by any standard, but especially by NYC standards. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite w a pull out couch for the kids. It gave our family plenty of room to spread out, and made it more enjoyable to come back and relax in the middle of the day as needed. Everything was very clean and housekeeping did a great job each day. The location was wonderful and easy to get around. The restaurants were all fabulous. We really enjoyed all three restaurants - the steakhouse was gorgeous and had great food and service, the Italian restaurant was perfect for us upon arriving hungry - far surpassing our expectations for a quick, convenient dinner. And the rooftop area had a great brunch with a lovely ambiance and wonderful service. Yes this property is on the older side but the hotel is so well cared for that it almost goes unnoticed in my opinion. It has a very baroque/old fashioned decor and vibe which kind of works in their favor in that regard. I wondered if I’d be bothered by the age of the hotel or furnishings but it was truly a non issue. Nothing important felt old or worn out. Bed and linens were fresh and super comfortable, the bathroom seemed updated, was very clean and well appointed. Rainfall shower, good water pressure. I also really appreciated that there were four closets, giving us plenty of room for coats and belongings. Aside from the room size, the service is the best part about this hotel. Every staff interaction we had was top notch. Every server, bellman, etc. The doorman and the front desk person especially made our family feel super special. They interacted with and played with my kids, even making up secret handshakes with them for every time we would return from an outing each day. We just felt like service was always above and beyond here. If I had to make one suggestion, and it’s super minor, but it would have been great if there was a smart TV in the room allowing us to use Netflix etc. The TV has old fashioned cable channels and expensive on demand movies that don’t always stream properly. Not a big deal though - my kids still found things to watch during downtime. All in all, we will most definitely be back.

Highly recommend. Everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. There’s so much space, especially for typical NY hotels. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the rooftop bar. Would definitely stay again.

We came to New York for a 10th birthday celebration for our Annabelle! We didn’t expect to have the most luxurious hotel in the city! They brought our daughter a beautiful plate of desserts! The staff was kind and helpful! Book a stay to celebrate something special!

The Kimberly is a mixed bag. It's in an accessible location, nicely in the middle north to south, but not in the chaos of Times Square. The rooms on the street side are rather noisy and there seems to be some fire or police station nearby because all I heard were sirens. Some rooms are spacious and others are less so. My travel companion received a very nice room. My room was much less nice, smaller and in a state of some disrepair, the tile was cracked in places and the sink and tub did not drain well. I believe we paid the same amount. My travel companion received much better attention and treatment too and I wonder if that had to do with her making the reservation, although we paid separately. The free breakfast, served after regular breakfast service, was a few stale mini muffins and stale mini croissants. But, the hotel is near Ess-a Bagel so there is no need to eat in the hotel. On the plus side, the hotel rooms were clean and the sheets seemed very clean. I might stay there again and ask not to be in a room on 50th Street, but on the other side.

Kimberly Hotel was my first NYC hotel experience. In general rates are expensive in NYC. This room was no exception however it was a better value for us than other choices. It was close to other subway stations and not too terrible a walk to Times Square. Rooms were pretty spacious and do provide a couple complimentary waters upon arrival. The view was nothing special but we were on the 5th floor. During the day there is noise from the streets but I never noticed it at night. The rooms must be well-insulated. We were there 3 nights and never heard a neighbor once. Service was impeccable. I checked in online and they had room ready for me at 1:30pm and check in was a breeze. Throughout our stay we asked a few questions and all were always helpful and courteous. Housekeeping did great with out stayover service. My only critical: found a lot of hair in shower and floor in bath upon arrival before we used anything and room needed more wash cloths and towel hanging space not in the shower itself. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend to people looking for quality and comfort without paying the prices most people charge for these luxuries in NYC.

We have stayed in many hotels in quite a few countries, but nothing compares to being a guest at the Kimberly. This was by far the best hotel experience, ever. Yes, the location is convenient. The hotel is impeccably kept, and the rooms are lovely and well appointed. But what stands out from other establishments is the staff. Our doorman Harry was so exceptional we can’t imagine being happy staying anywhere else ever again! From the moment we stepped out of our car, he was watching out for us. His manner is warm, but just old worldly enough to make you feel like royalty. We were a large family party of adult children and young grandchildren. In other words, a bit like a circus. The whole staff never made us feel anything but completely welcome and taken care of, no matter how many tiny fingerprints were left on their beautiful fish tank in the lobby. If we could give the Kimberly more than five stars, we would. We don’t won’t be staying any place else when we are in New York. We will probably go back just because of Harry. The staff has honed service to an art.

We are going to stay in this hotel next time we visit New York City. It is amazing place. We had a dinner at their restaurant on the first floor. Pizza and pasta were amazing. Also we had a breakfast at their restaurant on the roof. Views are outstanding. Everything looks gorgeous in the hotel and its restaurants!

Wonderful stay and staff. Great location. Walking distance to the Rockefeller center and many NY attractions and restaurants. Their bathrooms are huge considering we are in NY and I love that we have a mini suite with doors closing to the bedroom so my snoring husband can sleep in the other room if needed :). Perfect space for party of 3 (my teen daughter and husband ). Also be sure and try out their breakfast at the roof too. Highly recommended.

The Kimberly is a lovely combination of old world charm and hospitality evenly balanced with art deco touches and Noo Yawk character. It is the kind of hotel that leaves you feeling there are stories in the walls. The decor is not lavish or modern, but it is warm and comforting. My suite was plenty large, with a cool speakeasy-style bar complete with tasseled barstools. From the moment I entered I felt special. And because almost no place is perfect -- though the Kimberly comes close -- I feel I should note that some people might find the bathrooms way too small. There really was no place to set out toiletries. It would be especially tight for two guests. But that was more than made up for by the touches you rarely see anymore -- the engaging David from room service setting a table for me complete with linens and the animated valet Ralph sharing tales about famous guest who have passed through. And all of this in a great Midtown East location. Can't wait to visit again.

We have stayed here 4 times now and it’s our go-to favorite boutique hotel in NYC! Service by the bellman and all of the guys who greet you outside is top notch…they are so warm and inviting! Definitely the best service. Front desk staff is mediocre and not always very warm and friendly. Kind of cold and stiff compared to the doorman/bellhop etc. The housekeeping department is quick, friendly, helpful and so very efficient! This hotel is beautiful, cozy, comfortable and has wonderful amenities as well as the largest rooms with kitchenettes and balconies we have found in the city. The location can’t be beat!

Beyond spectacular. From Lola, the reservations manager to Jose, the incredibly energetic and extremely customer service-oriented door manager, my gosh, it doesn't get any better. The room was beyond spotless and was just great in all regard. The housekeeper was really friendly too. Nice location. Wow!

The Kimberley is my regular spot in Manhattan. I’ll carefully say that for me - It’s perfect, and I’m very picky. The service is impeccable and remind old times when manners meant something for real. It’s old school in the good sense of the word. Also: The rooms are sweet, and welcoming and even the food is great.

I joined my best friend for an overnight stay at this boutique hotel. We started on the roof deck for appetizers and drinks before retiring to our suite. The food was great. Creative drinks and great music! Service was great from the hostess, waitstaff to the bellman and concierge everyone was friendly, courteous! The room was beautiful! The bed was super comfy! I loved the balcony with seating outside. One of best accessories were the L'OCCITANE soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. I will be back!

The hotel is quaint and rooms are decent. It is the staff that I would watch out for!!! The employees at the rooftop bar like to steal people's coats and purses. And when you ask security to look at footage to see who took an item, they won't! Management is useless and apparently The Kimberly Hotel is a front for customers' stolen merchandise which is probably being sold online somewhere. If you go to this establishment, please watch your belongings, the employees and staff are thieves and will go to any length to cover up their crimes.

Great hotel that near everything. It is clean and cozy. Door man is very friendly. For NY city the rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Wish windows were more sound proof as it does get loud at night while you trying to sleep. But, I guess that's the life in big cities!

Very nice rooftop bar, all the walls and roof on glass with views at the Chrysler building (from some area). Good and quite atmosphere and nice outdoor area aswell. We had couple very nice cocktails with their great service. Some of the rooftops look at you like if you are not good enough to enter there, but not here, you feel comfortable and welcomed. 😊

Stayed at The Kimberly Hotel right after Christmas. Was greeted by a friendly doorman and staff at check in. The Executive Suite was beautiful and so spacious. We have stayed in many NYC hotels and this was by far the roomiest and best staff. The rooftop garden restaurant was beautiful and offered a lovely atmosphere to have a cup of coffee and cocktail in the evening. The location is ideal with easy walking distance to Central Park, Bryant Park, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station. The hotel is so lovely but truly what made our stay so special was the staff. We felt like we were "coming home" each day with the friendly doormen who were so attentive. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our family of 4, including two children, absolutely loved our 4 night stay at the Kimberly. First time in NYC for the kids (12 and 14) and we wanted a home away from home and got it here. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the room with extra space and a small kitchen helped us stay in for breakfast and reheat leftovers. Can't say enough good things. Beds were super comfortable, my daughter loved the bathrobe, lovely soap and toiletries and it was near silent at night on a rather quiet street compared to others. We walked everywhere or caught the bus or taxis. Good nearby restaurants and not too far from Central Park and other sites. Thank you for the great stay!

Fantastic hotel! Called ahead and had Peter from the Concierge arrange to have flowers in my room for my daughters birthday. Worked out amazing and he took care of everything including chocolate covered strawberries! Thank you Peter. Rooms are great also. large for NYC standards. Would not hesitate to come back. Great service and location!

It is rare that when one visits NYC, the hotel room is one of the highlights, but our 5 days at The Kimberly Hotel suite changed that. The rooms are large and clean. The service is quick. The location is excellent with proximity to E and 6 trains. The views are great. We enjoyed the city and each others' company, had a good mix of activities and relaxation thanks to this great hotel.

I was looking for a place with a little balcony and more space than just a bedroom at an affordable price. This was it! Service was excellent. Everyone was so nice and helpful there, with a smile always on their face and going out of their way to open the door for you. I liked the location as well, it was walking distance to most things we wanted to go to, and it felt safe at night.

We were long time New Yorker’s, who now live in Connecticut. We often go into the city for the weekends. We have now stated twice at the Kimberly, and it’s the perfect place for families to stay. (We have two kids ages 6 & 11) Clean, centrally located, spacious rooms, and the staff is very friendly. As the city comes back from the pandemic, hotel rates have gotten very high. The Kimberly hotel rooms offer so much space, at a reasonable rate, with excellent service. There maybe fancier spots to stay, but after having multiple weekends over the last few years at other hotels like the palace, & the new margaritaville in Times Square, we find the Kimberly to be the best value for our family, with a nice quiet location.

My husband and I stayed in the one bedroom king suite with a balcony. The room was very large and had everything that we needed. The decor in our room and throughout the hotel was luxurious. The rooftop restaurant had a great view. The staff that we encountered were all very nice and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip to NYC.

The Kimberly was everything and more. From being greeted by the door man Harry, to check out, we were treated with such kindness and respect. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and TOP NOTCH. The restaurants were wonderful and the food was even better. We have to give a shout out to Harry who was so kind to our children and made it an extra special experience every time they came in and out of the hotel. Would recommend 1000% and its where we will stay again the next time we come to NYC.

Loved everything about this hotel! The one bedroom suite was gorgeous, I didn't want to leave. The decor, the service -- the housekeeper even had my pj's neatly folded for me on the bed. My favorite L'occitane products were in the bathroom. Location was perfect, can't wait to return!
