We loved the Old Rabbit Club! Dark and small, but a perfect escape. Don't worry, your eyes will adjust. Down a few steps off the street. Super friendly bartender. He knew a lot about the beers on the menu and introduced us to some new ones. Pricey but a fun experience.

Very hidden spot in the busy MacDougal street, you will almost certainly miss it. It's below street level, once you are in, you ll find this cozy, dim light bar that service crafted beer with long list of choices you can select from. Bartender was friendly and service was good. Will recommend the owner to work on the music though, it was very loud club techno. Had a Belgium beer which was good.

Great spot for a quick stop. I wish they had liquor, though. A bourbon would go nice with the ambiance.

Lol google tagged it as “lounge” Not sure where that comes from — as I only see a hole/tube/bomb shelter. Very dive-y, excellent selection of Belgian style beers. Is chill, has rabbits on walls, will drink again!

Cool and dark underground speakeasy beer bar with some great tasting unique beers. Not many beers on draft but large bottle selection. Had some good sours and NE style IPA. Cool vibe down here and wasn’t too busy, near some good restaurants.

Such a cool place! Hidden gem on Mcdougal street! Simply go down to the basement at #124. The metal door is filled with stickers on it. Go ahead and open it!

Excellent beer selection. Rare American IPAs that change often. Also have rarer German and Belgian brews. Alchemist Heady Topper recommended. It will be dark inside, just let your eyes adjust and enjoy!

Was a bit hard to find because the graffiti of the white rabbit was covered when we visited, but worth the effort going crazy with Maps trying to find the entrance! Extremely cool place, tiny, good music, super super dark and bartender was lovely, chatty and recommended beer to us. Such a unique place, loved it!

The place is a hidden gem. You have to really look closely for their gate, which is often closed and is hidden unnoticeable on the wall. The light was very dim, giving out a speak easy vibe. The heater made it very warm inside, so don’t worry that drinking too much beer would make you cold. They have a variety of German and Belgian beer that you usually won’t be able to find elsewhere. Before you leave, they let you finish with a German bitter.

The menu is listed on Untappd and includes a good selection with some beers I haven't seen elsewhere. (FYI - it's indoors only)

Tiny alley like basement dive bar that only serves beer. Hot, cozy, good music and a large selection of beautifully curated beers. Not for drinkers with claustrophobia .

Beer bar only. And for that, it’s perfect. Literally a perfect little divey beer bar that checks all the boxes. Dingy, dark vibe. Unique beer selection. Knowledge and busy bartenders. I love everything about it.

There are a lot of bars in Greenwich Village, but if you're not looking for this one, you might miss it. On a Sunday night, while lines stretched down the block for some other venues in the area, I ducked down through a non-descript door into this little basement bar instead, at the time only about half full. With a dark, speakeasy vibe, and a great selection of beer (most of the Belgian standards, plus an array of other local crafts), and a friendly and knowledgeable staff, I absolutely loved this place.

Semi-hidden basement bar with an interesting vibe. The lights are excessively dark and the music a bit too loud even when empty, but it's fun and enjoyable. The bartender was chill, and they have a nice selection of quality import beers. I'd return if I find myself in the area again.

One of my favorite bars. Lovely vibe, awesome bartenders, really really interesting beers. My favorite is the banana bread beer, which they always seem to have.

Dope chill bar. It fills up quick do to its limited seats. It’s dark but your eyes will adjust to it. When we went, there was only one bartender, so it took a little longer to be attended but nothing crazy. Fun hidden bar with a nice selection of beers.

Quite literally stumbled on this bar years ago, and always felt at home in this underground bar nestled in such a busy part of the city. The craft beers available are well curated, and the atmosphere makes it easy to chat with people and the bartenders. Great date night spot to end the night.

Stumbled into this place after Comedy Club, such a vibe! Our bartender was extremely nice and hung up the art we made! 🍻

I'm certainly biased by now, but definitely my favorite place to grab a good beer in the city.

Can't go wrong here for a drink before dinner or a late night talk. Never-ending beer selection and low-lit environment that keeps people off their phones.

A hidden gem. We missed it at first. It’s downstairs with a black door to the left of the obvious 124 street address. Bartenders were both super helpful and given my pickiness pointed me in the right direction with my beer choices. They were very knowledgeable about everything they carry. Lots of esoteric stuff you won’t see anywhere else. You won’t be getting anything standard here (no miller bud or coors). We had a lovely time.

Good spot for the craft beer lovers. Pricey beers. And some not so pricey. Good ambiance. Good music.

Love the vibe! And good beers. Can be a little warm inside but I imagine that's great for winter.

Great bar with a nice atmosphere to escape from the fast-paced NY. Wide selection of beers. Definetly recommend a visit! :)
