Coming to this restaurant, I had high expectations based on the reviews. My expectations were absolutely exceeded. The overall vibe and feel of the restaurant makes you feel at home while still having the feel of a classy dining experience. The amazing staff was friendly and heartwarming throughout the whole dining experience and you can see that they really care about their jobs. All of this praise does not even compare to the food. I had such a hard time deciding what to choose with so many delicious options. I ended up going with the rigatoni vodka and it was one of the best dishes that I’ve ever had. The vodka sauce was rich and delicious and complimented the perfectly cooked pasta. Overall, everyone needs to go to San Marino SOHO, I know I’ll definitely be coming back!!

We were looking for a casual pasta dinner and ended up with one of our favorite meals in a long time. The service was better than a 10/10 with our waiter going above and beyond. They do the classics really well (caeser salad penne vodka for us). Can’t recommend this place enough!

Went here for my daughter's birthday after looking for a place that does cheese wheel pasta. The food, ambiance, and service was amazing. I am so glad that we tried a new place which we know we will come back when we want Italian food. Everything we tried had such nice flavor. Definitely was a classy dinner at a great price.

The service at San Marino is wonderful, attentive servers, very old school. They serve olive bread, regular bread, and olives, (free), after you order. Delicious and warm. The burrata is served with a load of cherry tomatoes, and is yum. The seafood pasta (39) is loaded with seafood, chunk of salmon on top, tasted great. The gnocchi pesto is a huge portion (we could not finish it), a bit salty but that's pesto for you. The decor of the restaurant is older and a bit dark. We recommend San Marino!

First time ever being in Soho and I decided to come here to get food with one of my friends from out of town. Nothing but great things to say about the food, service, and overall setting. Easily one of or the best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life alongside awesome service. Very nice layout where you get to have your meal with a sense of privacy. I recommend people to stop by and try this place as they’ll leave more than satisfied.

WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT SAN MARINO RISTORANTE SOHO I would like to start with a thumbs-up to the delicious food and the courteous staff of San Marino Ristorante SOHO. I got an opportunity to dine at San Marino Ristorante SOHO during my stay at Four Points by Sheraton SOHO. I stayed at the hotel for a week. During my stay, all my breakfast were at San Marino Ristorante SOHO and one day evening I attended the beer fest. This is a small and cozy setup right amidst the Soho Village area. There is a small bar at the entrance, right opposite the reception with few bar stools and a television to spend some good time. As you go further inside, there is this nice cozy dining area which is well set and nicely lit. A lot of wooden furniture and wall decor gives a pleasant time while dining here. I loved this dining experience as it gave me the much needed cozy and calm feeling and helped me to get refreshed. The breakfast menu comprises of a well set collection of dishes for all kind of food lovers. I tried almost all the dishes in one week of my stay and all were absolutely delicious and fulfilling. All the breakfast was served with a choice of fruit juice. On Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending the Beer Fest and I loved it. Fresh beer (stout) was served on the tap along with some delicious food. Special mention for the staff who is always helpful and courteous. They ensure that we feel comfortable and are very professional. I have watched some amazing parties and get-together happening here in the evenings with some lovely music. I feel that this is surely a good place to for good food and to plan a treat. Signing Off Hiral Amodia (TheHeeBee)

The pasta here is simply amazing - full of flavor, and the portions are more than generous, a single serving could easily satisfy the heartiest of appetites. The wine selection is also commendable, perfectly enhancing the meal. The service deserves a special mention - attentive, friendly, and professional. Don't forget to try their orange sorbet, it's the perfect refreshing end to an exquisite meal.

San Marino in Soho offers a charming Italian dining experience with a menu filled with classic dishes bursting with flavor. From the moment you step inside, the cozy ambiance sets the stage for a memorable meal. However, one aspect that left me wanting more was the portion sizes. While the flavors were satisfying, I had hoped for more generous servings, especially considering the prices. Speaking of which, the overall cost of the meal was on the higher side, making it a splurge for those on a budget. Despite these minor drawbacks, San Marino remains a delightful choice for indulging in authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Soho.

The food was sensational. My girlfriend had the vodka pasta and I had the papardella with fungi and truffle oil. We recommend! The only disadvantage: the gelatos are too expensive. $12 for a scoop is excessive. The service and the ambience were appealing.

Had Christmas dinner with family of 12. Appetizers were wonderful. Our dinners were cooked to perfection and served in a timely fashion. Variety of wine and cocktails superb. Wait staff were polite and professional. Our thanks to the staff - waiters, chef and bartenders for making our family dinner positively memorable.

My husband and I moved our daughter from Chicago to NYC. We were so tired and didn’t feel like getting dressed up to go out. This was connected to our hotel. Husband and I shared soup, salad, entree and dessert. Everything was so amazing! Lightly prepared and tasteful. We were expecting mediocrity (sorry), but thankfully, we got so much better! Thank you! And the homemade Zambuca was a delightful touch!

Me and my friend had a great time last night. We shared some amazing starters, a great bottle of red wine and the service was beyond amazing! He main courses were as if we were back in Europe. Finding a restaurant that is this good is just the definition of LUCKY! Definitely going back here next time we’re in NYC!!! ❤️ 10/10⭐️

The whole experience was strange starting with them not acknowledging the oysters were on the happy hour on the website. The Maître d’ was sassy but the waiter was great and sympathetic I ordered the linguine with clams and it had absolutely no flavor or sauce and the pasta was crunchy like it was deep fried in olive oil. It was horrible, seriously.

First of all, the service was truly stellar. From the moment we sat down, we immediately felt welcome. My two Italian friends let me know that the food was authentic. The owner came out in the end and said “I’m old fashioned, we just serve good food”

My husband and I just got married over the weekend and had our rehearsal dinner here. My family from Texas were staying in the Four Points hotel for the wedding and out of ease I thought about having our rehearsal dinner at San Marino. My expectations were exceeded. Alda helped me coordinate the menu, date and time with ease. Alda was very communicative and helpful. The food and service were absolutely amazing!! The waitstaff is so attentive and helpful I could not be more pleased with our interactions with them throughout the night. Our wine glasses stayed full and every need was met. The food was delicious, everyone was a fan of the family style and everything we had from the starters, mains and desserts were delicious. I can't recommend them enough if you're thinking about a large party or thinking about a small dinner for yourself as a guest in the hotel. I highly recommend and enjoyed our rehearsal dinner thoroughly. Thanks San Marino!!

Food was great. Table service was excellent. I cannot recommend ordering anything from the bar. They were very slow and gave us blank stares when we ordered a Manhattan and an old fashioned. The Manhattan was fine. The old fashioned was bright red. It looked cranberry juice and tasted odd. We didn’t order any more drinks. The food was delicious.

I live in Staten Island and recently visited San Marino Soho with my girlfriend. When I tell you this is some of the best Italian cuisine I have ever tasted! The ambiance in the restaurant is very romantic. The employees were very quick and polite with service. This place is a 10/10

I had a very positive experience at this restaurant last night! As an Italian, I have high standards for Italian restaurants and San Marino soho did not disappoint. The food was amazing, staff was very friendly and the service was amazing. I recommend the carbonara! Would definitely go again.

I made a reservation for dinner on Friday night. Everything was on top, the ambiance, service and the food. I had the grilled octopus for appetizer and the special black linguini with sea food for my meal and it was perfect. I will recommend to my friends this place and for sure will be back soon.

If you’re looking for a good pasta or a good service, DO NOT go to San Marino in SoHo. I stayed at Four Point Sheraton. Ordered room service. An hour and a half later called back to check in what the delay was- the person on the call very nonchalantly says “I forgot to put the order”. I come downstairs to ask what’s going on and there’s absolutely no regret in their voice. “We’re too busy”. The restaurant is literally, and I mean literally, empty. Not a single soul to be seen. I would only recommend this place to people I want to have the worst experience with ordering and service. Some terribly poor third world countries have better service than this. Never going back. If you do want some good pastas in this neighborhood, checkout Nonna Beppa. Incredible food and superb service and they’re open till 11! Walk a couple of blocks and check them out.

The thanksgiving dinner was amazing and the staff was so kind. I had the steak and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

Poor quality Italian ingredients. Over priced. Mediocre wine list and cocktails. So many better Italian choices in NYC. Do not recommend

I came to San Marino on the advice of a close friend and I was not disappointed! The service was above par, and everything was delicious. I was afraid we might have been underdressed, but we were welcomed with open arms. This establishment is now on my "must visit" for the next time I'm in NYC.

What a great experience! I am staying in the hotel upstairs and on a whim tried this place. Besi and Gume are proper professionals. Prompt service and a most friendly disposition! They are both so hospitable and have augmented our experience. Cheers to many more amazing experiences here at San Marino SOHO!

Excellent food and great atmosphere. Staff is all over everything, well kept and organized. Got the bolognese, fried calamari, and lobster ravioli special, highly recommend.

The appetizers were great, especially the eggplant. The mains lacked flavor. The branzino was good, but the accompanying broccoli tasted like it had been frozen and overcooked with no seasoning. Dessert was very good- we had the tartufo.
