A reliable burger spot! The 5 napkin burger is huge and super messy. We also got the truffle fries which were loaded with parmesan, and they were super crispy. We also tried the buffalo chicken burger which was delicious. Overall, a good experience

Quite nice! I have walked by this place for years (when visiting NYC) this was our first time. We dined after leaving a show nearby, so it was a late meal. The restaurant was not overly busy and it seemed they were closing up by the time we were ready to leave. The service was generally good, quick and efficient. The food was pretty good as well. My husband ordered the AVOCADO RANCH BURGER (Pepper Jack Cheese, Guacamole, Lettuce, Tomato & Ranch Dressing $17.50) which he enjoyed. We both liked the side of Onion Rings ($7.95) and I had the CHICKEN & WAFFLES (Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Vermont Maple Syrup $23.95) which was very good... but, it was the oddest C&W I've had. They included a few chicken fingers and a random drumstick. It felt...weird. But it was pretty good. Pricey.

Great spacious place, nice decor and good food options. Got roasted brussel sprouts, it was a bit hard and not much taste to it. Also got the impossible burger and fries. Fries were great. Burger was okay I would say. My friends got the one with beef patties and fried chicken, they loved it.

Perfect place and so festive around the holidays. They seated us as quick as possible. Although it was very busy around the theater district. Holiday decor was maxed out in beautiful and our server was so sweet bringing us extra french fries as we were eating them rather quickly. Very reasonable as well for good quality food

We sat outside. We ordered easily online although a very polite and nice guy asked us if we want to order to him since they didn't have so many people. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed. We loved the outside sitting too. We will definitely come back! Thank you!! ❤

Excellent place for burgers. The meat was juicy and tasty, the sauce was full of flavor. The burger was just the right size. The French fries were good. The cocktails were good, only pricey as within New-York. Service was nice, we walked in and waited only 10 minutes before being seated. It is very noisy during peak hours but good ambiance.

Great lunch before headed to the airport. We were seated quickly without a reservation and promptly served lunch. The aioli on the burger is a treat and the waffle fries are nice and crisp. Be sure to ask for extra napkins since the burgers were very juicy.

The look and feel of this place is great. You do require a vaccination card before you can eat here. We had the bacon cheddar burger, fries and a boozy shake. The shake was really good. It was a cookies and cream with some type of vodka. Absolutely hit the spot. Our server wasn't attentive, as we had to keep calling her over for things but overall experience was still good. It wasn't that packed and I would definitely recommend hitting this spot. We will be back to try some of the different food options.

Happy hour here is really good! The frozen watermelon Margarita are really good, not too strong and they are not watered down. The selection of food is great. I’ve had the Hatch Chile loaded fries for a second time and it was still really great. They were not too spicy or overpowering with cheese. The shrimp tacos are amazing. They are fried in this tempura batter and have a nice spice and seasoning to it. The spicy sliders area spicy but they are amazing. Only thing I would change is that they should add lettuce and tomatoes to the sliders. Boneless chicken wings are crispy but tender inside. I had the garlic-Parmesan sauce and it was way better than the Korean bbq (really salty). If you’re a person who loves burgers this is the spot for you because you’ll have a good selection to choose from.

Good burger that actually tasted like real meat - because it actually was! Slightly on the pricier side but good ratio to how large it was. It was extremely filling compared to other burgers since it was purely meat. Would also be a good date spot.

Great food and service. It was fast, efficient and thoughtful. Ordered the bacon cheddar burger. Buns we’re soft and held their own. Beef was cooked medium well, bacon portions were thick and tasty. Cheese oozed out of the sides while a crisp onion and juicy tomato sat above. Fries are soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. The crinkle cut was a great touch. 2 for 1 mimosas only seal the deal that this is a must try burger spot in NYC.

If you like your burgers, you’ll like 5 Napkin. The patties are juicy and the overall burger is rather well balanced. Onion ring tower is a good app, especially with the sauces. Will come back with more of an appetite to try more stuff.

My favorite burger place in the city. The price is reasonable for the quality food they serve. The servers are friendly and attentive. My favorite is the truffle burger with a side of grilled baby Brussel sprout. My fave dessert is the vegan sundae. This place get really full during lunch and dinner time from tourists and theaters crowds because it's near Times Square.

The original 5 Napkin Burger definitely lived up to its reputation. It was delicious! Fries were great too. Very pleasant service and our drinks were constantly being refilled. Burgers also came out quick! The location is great, especially if seeing a show. I will be retuning to this place during future visits!

Delicious food. Burger was so amazing and juicy. Breakfast was good. The watermelon margarita made everything even better. I love the truffle fries. I am craving those right now. Waitress was kind. I highly recommend & I will return next time I’m in New York.

Went here a few days ago with friends. All three of us really enjoyed our meals. I had the new, seasonal Thanksgiving burger. The patty was stuffed with sausage and cornbread stuffing, and there was cranberry mayo on it. Great flavor combos! One of the others had the Five Napkin Burger and she loved it! The third person had the regular cheeseburger with the 5oz. patty so he'd have room for the seasonal dessert: pumpkin cheesecake. He loved both. When in the city, we'd definitely return.

Ordered 2 burgers medium rare Were served super well done, dry. No seasoning on the meat. We sent them back. 2nd time they came back cooked right started eating it but sometimething had an odd flavor, I guess the kitchen cant take responsibility for their mistake and served us a burger with old lettuce in it, unfortunately I figured that out towards the end. Oldest trick in the book. Amateurs. Mediocre burger also. Would be funny If I go on a 9 hour flight with food poisoning. Will update my review if I'm going to have send a a complaint to the nyc dept of health :).

Great spot to eat with a lot of variety if you’re with a group. It’s rare to go somewhere where you can order a burger and someone else order sushi and both taste delicious! The staff was more friendly than usual compared to restaurants in the area, which was a nice treat. If you are in the area for lunch, I would strongly recommend their lunch specials. ($15 for a decent amount of food)

Food was great! Staff was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed a table outside with the exception of the street hustler. Staff was quick to run him off though. Overall enjoyed a delicious meal.

The food was absolutely incredible. Easily the best burger I've ever had. Juicy, fresh and cooked to perfection. Ate at the bar and the service from Ivan has been first class. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

We popped into 5 Napkin on 9th, while in town for a show, and absolutely LOVED it! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The decor was warm and inviting, and felt like a modern place with an old school diner feel. Leo, our server, was EXCELLENT and represents everything that is great about NYC! He was funny, charismatic, friendly and had a big personality with a smile to match! He took great care of us. Now, for the food - it was DELICIOUS! I had the turkey sausage, egg and cheese sandwich that was sooo good! We also gad the garlic parmesan wings - do not go here without getting them! To top it off, the espresso martinis were top notch! We wanted to share feedback on how much we loved the place, so we flagged the manager over, Aaron, and he was super nice and made us feel right at home. We had to get to the airport for our flight home, or else we would have stayed all afternoon, eating and drinking and enjoying ourselves! Long story short, I'll be back to NYC in May and will definitely stop in again!

Loved our dinner here last week! Always go to 5Napkin burger before a show. Service is attentive and quick. Staff is kind & knows the menu well. The manager, Rob, came over and chatted and took good care of us as well. The food is always delicious and timely. We had a wonderful time and will absolutely go back.

I used to lice this place but last time I went I got a bit disappointed. The onion ring towel was tasteless, the French fries are frozen McCain French fries look alike and tasteless. Burgers were fine. The music was way too loud couldn’t get a conversation with my partner seating in front of me across the table !

Not bad place to eat. Polite stuff, nice interior, quick service. I will give 4 stars for food. It was just ok, nothing impressive, but good enough) Big assortment of alcohol drinks. Didn't have a chance to explore the restroom. Nice view from the window. Air conditioning.

This was the first place we tried when we visited NYC, and it was amazing! We both got burgers and their green chile cheese waffle fries, and it was the best burger we've had in a very long time. Great atmosphere, has indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely put this place on your list of places to try while you're visiting

Decent service, nice interior, delicious food and drinks. It was pretty packed so service was a little delayed. Everyone was very nice though! The frozen watermelon margarita is awesome and I totally recommend. The class 5 napkin burger is delicious. Even more so when you add on some sautéed mushrooms. Would definitely go back again! Now for my standard COVID comments as of September 2022. No one is really wearing masks anymore now that it’s not mandatory. We were seated in a nice booth and found that it was comfortable eating indoors even when pretty packed.

I've eaten at 2 different 5 Napkin locations in NYC. It is a nice high end burger spot. You can taste the quality of the meat. Also the decorum feels like more than eating at TGIF. I would be comfortable taking a date here for lunch. My only criticism of this place is the menu is some what limited. If you don't want a burger then I wouldn't come here at all. The watermelon margaritas are delicious. The Onion Ring tower, Patty melt and 5 Napkin burger were all excellent. And if you like milk shakes then order 1 as a desert. I definitely co-sign the restaurant.

Stick with the burger, chicken and waffles was just ok but worth a try for something different. I loved the mobile order and delivery to your table!!

Good food and decent prices. You can order and pay from your table without having a waiter or have a more traditional experience. Wonderful atmosphere. Deducted a star as wait staff wasn't really engaged/caring (said maybe 2 words to us).

Awesome burgers with amazing patties. I'm usually not a great fan of chain burger restaurants, but I decided to give it a try on my recent visit to NYC. Got the Blarney burger with some Irish nachos. The burger wasn't too complicated - no overwhelming condiments or toppings. The lean corned beef was also perfectly complemented by the fatty and juicy beef patty (patty here was fattier than most burger places). The touch of grainy mustard on the top also hugely improved the overall experience. Definitely one of the top 10 burger places I've been to in the city.

This was a very NYC feeling restaurant with meat hooks lighting and vintage milkshake decor! Very cute! The atmosphere was right on point! The food was pretty good, my main complaint is that the buns for the burgers didn’t hold up very well. I think they should change their buns... because the burger meat itself was phenomenal! They are also doing temperature checks and trace screening for customers while also no paper menus and order placing and payment on your phone method as well.

One of the best burgers I've had in a while. You'll definitely need 5 napkins (or more) while eating these delicious, juicy burgers. The servers were attentive and very responsive. The online ordering system was easy to navigate and pay. Try it out! Special shout out to server Marlei - she was awesome and a fellow Kent State Golden Flash! :)

Highly recommend it!! It's my favorite spot. I like going to this place for the Buffalo Wings and the frozen margs. Also, the avocado ranch burger is so tasty. Service is always on point. Last night our bartender Angie was incredible. Third time meeting her. I go to this place a lot 🥰 The music was great. The whole place is awesome. Well decorate. No for nothing but this is one of my favorite spots to go, with friends or SOLO.
