Update *Sept 2020 Outdoor Dining* — The Nomad Rooftop is open (for covered but outdoor open air dining) and you should really consider going. Get a Resy (they book up far in advance for dinners and prime brunch time). Go get that chicken burger or beef burger you’ve been missing during quarantine— it’s as good as ever. Their cocktail menu is a little more limited right now but the bartender can pretty much make you anything they’ve got the ingredients for custom! The roof space is incredible, so beautifully decorated and ornate with amazing views of the Empire State Building, and it’s a perfect place for a date or a girls’ brunch. Can’t wait to go back! Hoping they keep the roof situation open permanently now. :) Original review 2017: All around wonderful spot, particularly for a special occasion (as it is quite pricey for the portions). Great wine list and recommendations from the server, incredible diversity of appetizers and entrees. We ordered burgers, fries, the snow pea salad with pecorino and bacon, and the prawns - things were heavy on salt but all in all delicious, and I would go back again to try the rest of the menu. Do not leave without getting dessert - either the Milk & Honey or the Cookies and Cream - both are perfect for 2-3 people to share, too. Love the quieter classy ambiance, the attentive staff, comfortable cozy seating, plating, and of course the food. Snag a reservation! Only downside is the price really, slightly higher than necessary for what you're getting.

Wow! This is a fantastic restaurant. The old world ambiance, excellent service and value for money food set this restaurant apart from other hotel restaurants. The carrot starter is very good. Loved the simplicity of the short rib eggs Benedict. The devocion coffee served in the restaurant is also fabulous. I would return especially for the apple sorbet.

An amazing place that was memorable and left you fully satisfied. Not many restaurants can compete and I’m sad that I haven’t been here sooner. The waiting staff is phenomenal and really makes you feel at home. This is the perfect place for any occasion and I know for a fact that I’ll be coming back again. From the drinks, to the appetizers, to the entrees - there’s not much that I can said besides bravo. I highly recommend this place for great vibes, good views, and some of the best food that you’ll ever have.

This one of the best restaurants in NYC. They have the best food that no one can make like it. Professional services and staff. The chf is the best cooker at all. The drinks and the soft drinks are the best. In short cut, the are all what you looking for if you are hungry or with someone you love. I don't visit the restaurant, but my brother is student there and I trust his tastes. I download the photos from the Google. Thanks to everyone and have a nice meal in the best restaurant.

Great views with great heaters. I felt hot while eating even though they had a perfect outdoor setting with air flowing. The food was great as well as the service. My favorite part of the chicken dinner was the deviled eggs and thigh/leg part of the chicken. Dessert was also really good!

Review is for pre-Covid times; I’ve been twice. The chicken for 2 is the best chicken I’ve ever had. By a wide margin. Nothing else compares. I dream of it. Please reopen soon NoMad, what is life without you?! Also the ambiance is classy and refined, and the service is excellent. An all around outstanding dining experience at a non-ludicrous price tag. P.s. ask to see the kitchen and you might get a little extra treat!

Good food, good cocktails, good service, tad expensive. The food and drinks were delicious, beautifully crafted, and the service was extremely attentive! The menu is a bit on the expensive side, even for a 1 star Michelin restaurant. Would have preferred to see an end to end tasting menu for the price. With that said I would come back.

The roasted chicken was unbelievably good. Good amount of food for two people. Must get if this is your first time here! Didn't get a chance to try any of their cocktails, but heard good things about it from my friend I went with.

Sunday brunch at its best. Perfectly made pastries, scallops we pan roasted to perfection and roast chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. Impressive bar and cocktail menu. Modern twist on many tradition cocktail classics. Lovely dining room, spacious and great natural light. Service is very good and knowledgeable Highly recommended for a Sunday brunch treat.

Very nice brunch. We felt rushed as our server said they were closing soon. The menu was great. The space is lovely. We were graciously accommodated for the table we wanted. Thank you. Easy stroll from Penn Station, FIT, Madison Square...

Best French Fries I've had. They fry rosemary and parsley with the fries so gives it extra delicious flavor. Chicken sandwich on the brioche is absolutely delicious!

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at this restaurant. The chicken for 2, their signature dish, and the special brew called Le Poulet were phenomenal. The chicken breast was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned - just the right level of flavorful. The dark meat sauted in butter and lemon was simple, yet delicious. It's quite a lot to demand for $93 for roast chicken, but this one was worth the try. Possibly the best chicken and beer I've ever had. But what made our evening extra special was the heartfelt service. They went above and beyond, and even surprised us with a private set-up on the rooftop, complete with champagne and a view of the Empire State Building all to ourselves. Amazing! So when Eleven Madison Park is not an option, go to NoMad and experience the magic of Chef David Humm.
