I would highly recommend everyone to visit this place! It gives a taste and atmosphere of Italy. The food options, deserts, and even cosmetics remind you of Italy. In addition, they have over 4 restaurants here all of which have a unique take on Italian cuisine.

Excellent! I was a bit curious about this choice. In the heart of the Flatiron district was the restaurant going to be overpriced and ok...no way. It's vibrant has incredible views and great food. The staff was attentive and the explained the menu and the specials to us. I loved that they asked us if anyone had allergies they should know about! Just a great experience.

This place is incredible. Couldn’t rate it in the same style as my previous reviews because it is not a singular restaurant. This is an indoor Italian marketplace and restaurant destination. Inside is a plethora of Italian food options. You can purchase food to go such as amazing looking fresh focaccia sandwiches or perhaps some fresh made pizza. Or, you can sit down at the many more fill-service type restaurants or wine bars. Or perhaps you just want to visit Eataly for some groceries and supplies to make stuff at home. They have fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, meats, pastries, breads, coffee, chocolate, etc etc. It is reminiscent of a grocery store with some Italian flare. Soooo many options. If you don’t know what to buy, just wander a bit and pick out any of the awesome options.

Very nice marketplace dedicated to everything Italy. It has restaurants, bars, markets, butchers, fish mongers, pasta makers, and specialty vendors. A nice place to shop with neat decorations and designs. The restaurants/bars have a nice atmosphere.

This place is amazing, you can find everything under the same roof. From the fresh pastas, to different varieties of pizzas, fishes, fruits or veggies, a cheese dairy and even a bakery. They all tasted very good and authentic. There are different Italian restaurants and places to sit down to sip on a nice coffee or to grab a cold gelato on a hot summer day. They even give food samples which is always nice. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Don't think I've ever been to a large Italian delicacy store and restaurant. There are so many restaurants inside, so many grocery kiosks serving everything from fresh pasta to chocolate to produce to sandwiches and pannetones. It is a beautiful, must see place to walk around if you're in Flatiron. Sit down, grab a bit to eat or a cocktail at one of their many bars, so some holiday shopping or grab a take home meal kit for two and enjoy your time.

Food is outstanding! The cheeses are the best I've had. If you want to experience authentic Italian, you must go. The gelato is creamy and delicious. It can be pricey, but it's worth it. The employees are very friendly.

Sure -- it has a large tourist presence - but it is great for locals too. I appreciated the selection. I felt very inspired. Homemade croutons from the perfectly baked bread I purchased here. Fresh pasta for the win.

Huge upscale market with fresh fruit and vegs. Pantry items from Italy and on-site baked bread, focaccia, and on-site Italian restaurants. Tried the one in the back with bigger seating area. Their Neapolitan pizza was legit delicious. Their mushroom pasta was good but the white truffle add on was a huge rip off. Some of the items were just too pricey to buy in grocery but things like Italian hard candy, dried salami, pistachio chocolates or biscuits could make good gifts. They really need to make the aisles wider for big crowds in there. Lot of one way room only for aisles. Their bakery items look yummy and so does their gelato place.

I’m in love with this place. Staff is very polite and helpful. They have some amazing food items and the best in the world is the hot chocolate that’s served here. It’s simply breathtaking. It’s my go to place .

My favorite Italian grocery store...fresh and authentic food with great presentations. Also good restaurants. Wide selection of Italian ingredients or prepared foods. A good stop for Italian dining on premises or to make at home.

You have to add this to your NYC vacation plans! You will get lost among the fresh and authentic Italian food. Make sure you come hungry- the restaurants offer something for everyone including a great selection of wines and tastings are available at reasonable pricing. The rooftop bar decorations changes with the seasons with hand crafted drinks and a delicious menu with great views of the flatiron district! This is the perfect stop for Italian meal on premises or to make at home.

I’ve never seen anything like this place. A one stop shop for anything and everything related to Italian food. INCREDIBLE! It’s a market with a lot of pop-up shops to cater to your every need. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant had a bit of a wait time but the food and service were all amazing

When I’m in NYC I have to go here. It brings back many memories of being in Italy. Be sure to sample some olive oil. One ends up appreciating it like wine. The past is great and the pizza is some of the best in the city… which is quite something for NYC.

Amazing. This is just like an Italian marketplace. Huge inside. Much more italian feel than Downtown location. Several more restaurant options at this one. The food was divine. Loved seeing the fresh made pasta. Was surprised though that employees without hairnets were allowed at the table where it was being made. I have long hair so I know how it just ends up everywhere. The girl making it had her hair covered, same for the guy. One of the servers stood at table for about 10 minutes just talking. Limited non-alcoholic or non-soda options. Bread option is well worth it for small price.

Very well organize with different sections, enjoyed the BARESE in the pizza area on the broadway side, absolutely made to perfection! A bit disappointed with the ARROSTO DI MANZO sandwich was not juicy, very simple & bit over price. Not sure, it may have been the dryness that threw off the taste. Need a week to review this location, they also have private dining (by reservation only) in the upper floor. What a fantastic spot filled with culinary entertainment. Very clean, organize, tasty food, prices for most part good with minor exceptions. We tried the fresh donuts made on the spot (next to gelato) - were so delicious missed the photo- worth the trip!

Outstanding selection of produce, pastries, and anything Italian. Definitely has tourist prices but the quality is still there and worth the splurge if you are feeling it. There a few different shops to eat from, I got the squid ink pasta with wild caught shrimp and it was magnificent. The high quality I gradients make all the difference. IMO, there are better gelato places in New York, but the selection of pastries is nice.

I use to frequent Eataly when I worked in Manhattan and it was great to come back and see the quality has stayed consistent. Everything is super fresh the turn around time for your order is great. I got the fresh spinach pasta which was perfectly al dente. My son got the calzone and didn’t leave a bite on the plate. The charcuterie meats were sliced perfectly and had great accompaniments with them. We hoped they’d give a bigger cheese variety. Wait staff was great at first then there was a shift change in the middle of our meal so the service was a little inconsistent. Overall a great experience with amazing food.

Have been here many times and overlooked many issues because of quality and freshness of the food. The portion of mussels in lemon sauce was excellent but do to hustle and bustle of the ordering and delivery it affected the dining experience. Try to go midweek and sit at a table since counters are crowded but does offer the sitting at the bar without a bartender.

Like all Eataly’s this market hall is always an amazing experience! We know Italy has much to offer when it comes to food, however, the variety and quality on offer here is fantastic! I suggest you first sit down and eat at one of the many options and let the dishes inspire your shopping later in the market aisles.

Great space, many options, high quality food. Had lunch and did light Xmas shopping. Prices are hit-or-miss. Samples were nice, wish there were more. Busy for sure, but we'll organized. Store staff wasn't helpful, but restaurant workers were kind and well versed in the food and wine they serve.

Excellent market place focus on Italian products including multiple restaurants using fresh products. This is a must-visit place while visiting NYC. At the Il Pastaio restaurant they served plates with fresh pasta and employees are continually making pasta while you eat. You can find a lot of different cheeses, sausages, bread, coffee, deserts, fruits, vegetables, even flowers, plus a vast variety of sauces & pasta. In summary, this is a great place for spending lunch with friends or family. Won’t regret it.

Very nice restaurants and eatery. So much to see & experience. Good quality items. I get a feel of being in Italy though I’ve never been. The closest I have gotten yet. Definitely would recommend to give this place a visit when you have a chance. By the way they have great dining restaurants and even one on a rooftop.

Our favorite spot for drinking coffee and juice. Specially during sunday morning, after visiting Serbian Orthodox Cathedral right around the corner. Outdoor seating is great (during summer), and plenty of groceries, authentic italian food and drinks to choose from the shop inside. They also have nice-looking rooftop bar/restaurant. Photos are taken in August 2023.

This place is very cool to shop at but I mostly come here for the exquisite espresso with hot chocolate. You can get it with foamed milk or heavy cream. I swear to you that it will make your eyes roll back and you will be licking up every drop.

We stopped by on Super Bowl Sunday to grab a few things to have for the game. As always, the selection of cheese and Italian meats was superior. We purchased several loaves of fresh bread. The focaccia was tasteless but the traditional was crusty and tasty. Both needed more salt to the dough. Disappointed in the cotton candy grapes as they were soft and lifeless. Purchased a raspberry nougat on the way out and it was absolutely incredible. Love the live music and the restaurant offerings. Hate walking through the seafood section, though, as the fishy smell gets to me. Don’t miss the fresh pasta, though!

The servers were very attentive, the food was exquisite, drinks, strong and delicious 😋 However, the highlight of the evening was the Tiramisu, that was unwrapped at the table for a beautiful lava effect! Really something to experience. Thank you Chef Moises! You made our night even more spectacular!

This is the vibrant, happening and famous Eataly store next to Flatiron. Definitely bigger than Dallas and Boston. Loved the Desserts/Coffee bar and Pizza bar, I wish I had enough time to eat pasta etc. Gelato was out of this world. A must visit for Italian food lovers and Eately fans.

This Italian marketplace is so adorable and filled with Italian goodies. Chocolates, coffees, pizzas, wines, cheeses, meats… everything is displayed beautifully and I wish I could have spent even more time there.

  • 5/5 Amy De L. 8 months ago on Google
This place was very busy! It is an indoor market where you can find all sorts of goodies. It seems as if it's more of a one stop shop market place for the locals. It is the Italian version of a mercado you would find in a town in Mexico. Here, you will find a vast array of independent small vendors selling everything from produce, cheese, meats, pastries, drinks, etc. We saw multiple places to sit and eat some Italian meals while sipping on some wine. We came here looking for a good ol' cannoli and a bottle of water.

A very nice market with good restaurants! Very beautiful! One of NYC's hidden gems and it's just across the street from the iconic Flat Iron building.

I love Italian food so Eataly was the perfect place to visit for a quick bite. I love that you can get all different levels of food - quick bites, restaurant-style meals and drinks. It’s a piece of Italy away from Italy.

  • 5/5 Jessica C. 5 months ago on Google
Delicious fresh pasta. I loved that the portions aren’t huge either. I had the ravioli Di zucca, delicious. And focaccia for the table, also delicious, warm and soft. Olive oil was well seasoned with rosemary. The only downside for one member of our party is that there was only one pesto dish on the menu, that was a gnocchi. It’s nice that after eating you can walk around the market.

Eataly Flatiron has amazing cooking pasta classes. I took my boyfriend on a date here and we had a lot of fun, we learned how to make the dough and different types of pasta, while a server brought a two-course meal, for entry we had a blue cheese, spinach, and pasta salad, and afterward a pasta with meat (I still dream off) and complementary wine. Everything is included in the course. It is an amazing date idea. I just wished they had classes later than 10:00 am. Pasta and wine at 11:00 am was a bit early. But highly recommend it.

An amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like you are strolling around the streets of Italy with most items at decent prices. Very strongly recommend visiting. Along with a large grocery store, they also have a pizzeria, bakery, cafe, gelato shop and a few restaurants at site. The grocery store very large collection of various Italian (and some general) household cooking ingredients such as imported fruits, vegetables, sauces, cheeses, olive oil, cured meats, spices, chocolates and possibly everything else you would require to make Italian dishes. The bakery had a really large collection of items that taste really good and look insanely good. The gelato store inside was also amazing with a good collection of gelato and vegan sorbets. The flavors were robust and texture was amazing. It was very well priced as you could get 4 scoops with a waffle cone for just $9.

  • 2/5 Lucas A. 2 years ago on Google
Don’t waste your time going there. Bad pizza, they didn’t have any flavor of gelato and they asked me to go to the kiosk to get a gelato but in the kiosk they didn’t have cones for the gelato. Overpriced and not a pleasant place to be at. I came here at 5pm on a Thursday. Don’t even wanna think how it is when it’s busy

  • 5/5 Caroline F. 2 years ago on Google
Who doesn’t love to eat and shop :) I can’t go here and not get the fresh pasta and pizza. Bustling with tourists and locals. The rooftop restaurant changes seasons and is consistently good. Calamari is my fave.

Eataly is always a fun experience. We had small plates of arancini and coppa di testa, red wine and an Aperol spritz. Definitely not the most inexpensive place but always top notch service.

  • 4/5 James H. 1 year ago on Google
Its always been a very busy place, they have restaurants and supermarket and some vender inside. It can be a little confusing when first time visit but you will get used to it after several visit. They also have a rooftop restaurant with beautiful view as well. Most importantly, they have public restroom just in case you’ll need it, it’s inside the market. Furthermore, the venchi chocolate is very good and the gelato in the store is always a long line during the summer time. It’s a nice place for lunch break from work or hanging out with friends.

PROS: This place was Italian heaven when I entered. Numerous bars, restaurants, food stands, and shops. The atmosphere was exquisite and the quality of the food was great. Prices are all reasonable and the workers are semi nice CONS: It's very confusing navigating around that place. They should have signs or a map or something that can help guide you OVERALL: I highly recommend coming here if you're in the area, as long as you have enough time to kill

Such an awesome place. All the italian ingredients, fresh and ready-to-made pasta, sauces and they even have truffle! All kinds of olive oils and bread. All is wow! Restaurants also nice, we tries the pizza n pasta restaurant, the taste is so comfy in my mouth❤️

My last review for the year goes to Il Patio Eataly. It was born thanks to the outdoor dining mandate in NYC. Although indoor dining is now allowed in the city, We felt safer and comfortable dining outside should we have a choice. We love their 23rd street outdoor dining set up; we were seated in a private cabana. It was spacious enough that it could seat 4 people comfortably. As soon as we were seated, the staff placed a homemade bread with olive oil on our table for us to nibble. We then proceeded to select a nice Italian Rosé with prosciutto and melon as our appetizer, It was a perfect combination. We then chose tagliatelle Bolognese and massese pizza to share. Both dishes were freshly made, came in a timely fashion and it was filling enough for two people, however to be honest, as an Italian cuisine lover we thought that we’ve tried better tasting pasta and pizza someplace else. Although overall, the service is awesome, the food came in a timely fashion, it probably would not be the first place that I would go to when craving for some decent Italian fare.

Eataly is a one stop shop, filled with everything food related that you can imagine. A lot of of it is slightly higher end but there is a great variety of pastas, desserts, breads, sauces, truffles and more.

My go to for everything. I am a personal chef and I am a Italian, Eataly is just my favorite place to shop. Meat and fish are always high quality. Produce is always the best looking. Great variety of mushrooms. All the staff is prepared and very friendly. Very recommended ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I’ve gone to many Eataly’s before - in Italy. This location is extremely close to what Italy has to offer. We got different beers, mozzarella, prosciutto with fig, and dessert! Mozzarella is so incredibly fresh but it doesn’t come with bread on the side. We can never go wrong with the small dessert as well! Perfect items to have at a small gathering.

  • 5/5 Pratik G. 1 year ago on Google
Eataly is a good outlet with a lot of groceries and produce as well as restaurants. We went to La Pizza & La Pasta. We had reservations and we got a seat pretty instantly. The place is bustling and can be overwhelming as there are multiple restaurants in there. We tried the focaccia bread and gnocchi for the antipasti and the bread was really good. For the next course we had the pizza with white truffle and it was really delicious. The crust was one of the softest and thinnest I've seen. The real blockbuster was the Tiramisu which was very good as well. Overall a really good place to try!!
