Completely a frustrating experience! I found the utensils here aren’t washed properly enough for the next guests. Mine had a lipstick mark on the cup and despite asking the waiter for a fresh cup, I was given the same cup. I’m shocked if the cups have such stains how the food standard would be. This place has to be shut down for good or the food safety has to take some action. Please disregard this place if you want a healthy and safe meal. The cutlery also aren’t cleaned properly and the tables aren’t wiped with a sticky residue over it. The customer service is worst with orders being messed up every time by mixing meat with vegetarian orders. It started to become a high risk eating at this outlet. Highly disappointed. One good thing that happened here were the pancakes were the best!

Zero stars. My family and I came for for a new years meal. The food and coffee were cold and terrible. We ordered 2 meals for a party of 3 since one of us were not hungry. When the bill came noticed an extra charge of 5.99 , when inquiring with the manager she said it’s because everyone has to order food or there will be an extra charge. We were never informed this policy prior to ordering. There was a small hand written note behind the register of this “new and magical” policy. Plus they were changing $10 for people to use the bathroom. Is that even legal???? The worst part of all our server was clearly intoxicated/high and could not serve properly. Best believe corporate will be hearing about this atrocious experience and will be filing a formal complaint. I don’t like to complain and always try to be understanding but this experience was just so bad I have to say something. Sadly will not be returning. Also Peep the hand written signs of these so called questionable policies

Food is nice as usual. Service - well typical American service. I just feel like nobody wants to actually work in the service industry which I’m not surprised about. But my waitress was actually nice enough. Atmosphere was chill, I went at 2pm so it wasn’t crowded which I liked. It was quiet.

They play the most depressing songs and I haven’t even orders yet. Two ladies walk off they’re table and one said under her breath “ my burger sucks”. Well I’m not going to take her experience under consideration of course. I’ve got to try the product myself. I believe in hope. Milkshake just came in. It’s good. Omg why do they play these “not the right setting for these sad emotional musics”. Now monster burger came in. Had mine medium. It was ok. Couldn’t finish eating because the songs they’re playing makes the food taste depressing. This ihop is for sure stater kit. Waiter is cool though but that’s just about it. I don’t know if it’s like that all the time with this musical ambiance that sad people look for after breaking up with they’re love or someone who just so depressed and want to eat alone with they’re sorrows. I guess.

We went here for lunch and we want to introduce my friend with IHOP, because we love IHOP. We usually have food in different site and this was the first in this site. Because of good rating and location is convenient so we gave it a try. It was the worst dining experiences in IHOP for us. We waited for 45 minute to the drinks came out one by one and as we check there was not a lot of customers in the restaurant and the restaurant poorly staff. We order buttermilk chicken and it was so salty and dry. The dish came with just a small two pieces of chicken. We also ordered the steak but turn out it was a burger, with onion and mushroom on top, the broccoli is raw. Let talk about the drink, we ordered the the new passion fruit drink and it came with no topping and explanation from from the server. The second drink is the new milkshake and no decorate on top and red drizzle like the picture and also nó explain from the waiter. I had to ask them myself if they out of it. The waiter said the caramel drizzle is out but those drink doesn’t need caramel drizzle! But they still have topping and decor for our drink. Then he asked that we want the topping for the drink? And of course we want it and it suppose to be in our drink for the first time as picture portray it. They missing out some of our food and still give the check for them and ask what those plate on the table are as if we ask for free food. The restaurant are so lazy to check up with the quality of the food and check on the customer. The quality of the food doesn’t meet up with other site in nyc. I don’t know why they was gave the high review rate, it like the bait. Never go here again for sure.

Usually my fiancé and I prefer this IHOP its one of the cleanest and the breakfast is amazing. We usually wait for our food 45-25 minutes from the two times we have went, room for improvement. Overall there is always seating available and the people who work there are polite.

I have come here a few times before, but this time I came to redeem the birthday reward of a Full Buttermilk Pancake Stack (as a rewards member). I wanted to dine in, since the place was relatively empty and I thought it would be simple enough. I don't think the employees were very informed about the rewards program though, since even after my reward was redeemed, I had to hand in my phone a few more times for them to check the app. My server had to call her manager to process the reward, and since it had already been redeemed, it wasn't showing up on the app (which caused a bit of a stressful situation). Eventually, it was all handled but it just means that the employees need to be informed more about how the rewards program works. The employees themselves were quite kind and attentive enough.

i love ihop but this is the worst one i’ve ever went to. Folks don’t even greet you when you enter the restaurant because they are too busy talking with each other. The sandwich and mozzarella sticks were delicious but the crepes with strawberries were so-so. Also I was waiting for these crepes for about 45!!! minutes.. and there were even a hair on the plate 😐 bathroom looks dirty and the whole appearance of the restaurant looks off. at least waitress was nice!

First time at this ihop, man at the front with the long dreads in a ponytail barely greeted us. Led us to the table and just dropped menus on it and walked away. Ok. Don’t like working here then quit! Food was good, especially the fries. Tables didn’t have salt & pepper condiments except the syrups. The young man taking our order was great and gave great customer service. Checkout was quick and easy.

I had a pancake, the Blueberry option. The place is easy to reach, with a short walk from Union Square. There was enough place at 8pm. The service was very well, the person who helped me was kind and attentive. The pancakes were nice, however I did feel they lacked a bit of fluff compared to pancakes I ate at other places. The sweet tea was good.

We went for breakfast as my son wanted to try the pancakes. He said they were really tasty & tasted like cake. He enjoyed them. I was pleased to see vegetarian options, as a lot of places we'd eaten at during our stay didn't. The waiter was attentive & refilled our drinks when asked & was pleasant.

Stepped into IHOP for the first time with all these expectations from friends' reviews and I have to say I was absolutely blown away. IHOP was all that and more. Pure unadulterated pancakes in what I would imagine is its most authentic form (just like what you see in the movies), the meal was absolutely splendid. Pancakes went perfect with a dollop of butter and maple syrup! My only regret was I couldn't squeeze in another IHOP meal while I was there, but I'd definitely be back for more!

The French toast were very dry especially in the middle. I have had better at ihop in Dubai. The pancakes were also surprisingly dry. Expected more from ihop. Will not order again from here. Price is also too high

Yesterday we have been at Coney Island IHOP that was good. Today the complete opposite experience. From the steak to the side salat and smashed potatoes 🫤 poor quality and presentation of the food.

The food was alright but the service was terrible. I was supposed to show my girlfriend how great IHOP was (her first time visiting USA). The waitress asked if we wanted 2 or 4 pancakes and we both took the 2 pancakes option. My girlfriend got 4 and after we pointed it out the waitress just ignored that and when we got the bill it wasn't corrected . We tried to get a hold of the waitress again with no luck. We were in a hurry since it was our last day and had a plane to catch so we just paid and left. So not a good IHOP. I have tried others which was really good.

Miss ihop It’s very welcomed. Taste the same as always as excellent. And they’ve got the wonka special meals and drinks too! I love their mocha however I don’t want to have too much caffeine. Instead, I choose the strawberry milkshake 😋😋😋😋 I love this combo as I always order the same meal no matter which IHOP I go 😝😝😝 Should come and try!

The staff was amazing, and we had no complaints about the food. However, the bathroom is extremely dirty. The floors are super sticky, there is toilet paper on the floor, and the sinks are disgusting.

As a Canadian this is my first time trying ihop and I must say their pancakes are worth the hype!! So delicious and their omelette was just perfect as a person who’s not a big fan of eggs it doesn’t taste too eggy!! they also got Turkey bacon so that’s a plus

Food taste like old grease no napkins unless you beg asst appetizer dish doesn't come with saucers countrt fried chickens refried so much it's burnt and they no desert and only one kind if syrup the wait wasn't long at all. It's a dive bar without alcohol we waited 30 minutes for the kraft macaroni to be made fresh and it was really only half of a box people were screaming I dropped food n laughing from the kitchen I ordered a multifarious chicken sandwich with avocado it was nothing like the pictures and had more calories than stated due to the grease the tomatoes were covered in grease the milkshake is the only dessert n it's small after drinking it the last sip tasted like evaporate carnation milk the mozzarella stick contained no cheese because mozzarella must be frozen before cooking or the cheese will melt inside

The food is good but - in my opinion - overpriced. You can expect to spend over $20 for breakfast and have an enormous calory intake. Service was good but the amenities were not the cleanest. Overall it was OK, I'd come back for the pancakes at some point.

IHOP used to be great, but sadly not anymore. I felt everything became so much pricier, while the quality and quantity weren't necessarily getting any better. The service was great as usual, but I wouldn't go back for some expensive pancakes, a sausage as small as my pinky finger, and some bad coffee.

I was the only person out of our group who liked the food. Everyone else hated it. I ordered the fried chicken in biscuits 👍

Loved the breakfast in this branch of IHOP: - Great tasting food - Friendly staff - Nice vibe The only issue was that the kitchen was very slow to finish the food..

Just love IHOP, every time I visit the States it’s a must for pancakes!!! Never disappointed with the food. Slightly tired restaurant and location not great as it’s a bit of a walk from central Manhattan but couldn’t not go. Staff very helpful throughout the meal although went missing when we wanted to pay so hung around for five minutes waiting even though the restaurant was pretty much empty.

The staff member who was supposed to assist us seemed to have no interest. She kept rolling her eyes and sighing when we placed our order. The food was good, but the service was not. I wouldn't come back here again.

We ordered chicken waffles and protein strawberry banana pancakes. The chicken was super dry as if it had been heated up a couple of times. The host was very friendly but the waitress not really polite.

The staff is wonderful and good customer service. They might possibly need to change their food vendors. No food quality. The coffee is sub par. I love this food chain,but what has what is the question. I will try it again next year. We all need growth. I have faith that this food chain will be delicious again.

Yummy breakfast with fresh brewed coffee. Also got free Wi-Fi.

I like ihop just not this one, the silverware here has stains every time I come here. I thought maybe it was just a one time thing but it isn’t. It’s just feels uncomfortable

Literally the worst ihop ever. This is second time here. The first time was bad but meh. Right now: the host super rude. We were sitting for 10min and no sign of service. We left after one of the staff yelled to a couple without any valid reason! ——————— I said I’m not coming back, and I’m not recommended to go there.

I haven't Visited this Location in 6 Years. But, I Enjoyed My Visit Here Again. The Food Has Always Been Excellent. And the Staff is Awesome. On this Visit I arrived with My Wheelchair. And I was Very Impressed with the Accessibility of the Location. Bathrooms are Clean and Wheelchair Accessible.

Just left this place after they had us waiting in our seats for an HOUR. The tried to seat a couple that came in after us FIRST and then gave us attitude and plastic utensils. They didn’t even give us water. They didn’t update us so we walked out. The couple that came in after us had their food and drinks AND metal silverware. The initial server even made a smart remark saying “dine with us again!” Don’t go here if you want actual service .

Very bad experience. Wanted to come somewhere familiar during our stay in NYC; however, we will never return to this IHOP again. The restaurant was not busy, as there were only us and two other tables seated when we arrived. When I went to the bathroom, I could hear the BOH staff screaming swear words and could see that the floors were very unsanitary. I should've just left then to avoid having to wait another hour for my meal to come. When my partner and I's meals finally did come, both were very cold and the cheese on our eggs was just a slice thrown on top, completely cold and smelled very strange. We didn't complain though, we remained polite and just ate the food. We paid in cash, as my partner and I were leaving the waitress ran up to me. She physically touched my arm and asked me if I had paid? I left cash on top of my bill on the end of the table, sticking out from under a plate. This is something I do in almost all sit down restaurants. I have never had a waitress come up to me, touch me and ask me if I paid, instead of just walking over to the table and picking up the bill and cash off the table like a normal person. This experience was extremely strange and inappropriate and I caution others against visiting this establishment.

Its a bit run down but the food was great. Cant beat the classics $55 for breakfast is expensive but it was a nice treat

I recently visited the IHOP in Manhattan and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this IHOP to anyone looking for a great meal in a comfortable setting.

The Hot chocolate was good but the pancakes very thick, I didn’t like the flavor. The place and service is very good.

Service was good and food was tasty. Breakfast Sampler is recommended.

We had a good time! I enjoyed my pancakes and our server was nice and accommodating.

Went at like 4am after a party and despite the long wait (because ot the post party rush) the food was hot and delicious and the waitress that served us was super sweet. Can't gp wrong with their Buttermilk pancakes! c:

I genuinely love this location! Visited here for the first time last night and I must say the staff, every single one of them was so nice and accommodating and the food was so good omg the sirloin tips was everything! Even the music is such a throwback. I get why ihop is a happy place! Will def be back again. Great food, great staff!
