We arrived about 830am on a Tuesday morning. The outdoor seating was available and we sat down immediately. Shortly after someone brought us menus and then we had to chase down a server to take our order after over 10 minutes of waiting. The order came quickly we ordered Belgian waffles and a mixed breakfast platter and grits. Everything had good flavor water and coffee refills came regularly. We had to chase down the server again for our bill. We are not New Yorkers so maybe we misunderstood how to get the bill. But the lack of good customer service with with that server is why the reading is not more stars.

Food was phenomenal. Great variety. But the service was horrible. Waitress had the worst attitude. Not just with us. With everyone. It was obvious. If you decide to eat here, stay away from Jessica M. tables. TRUST ME!! Thanks for making my Father's Day unpleasant.

Fast service from a well organized & hardworking team. Delicious food. Prices in line with the rest of Manhattan. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

It's one of the best diners this southern boy has eaten! "trying" to stay with a light meal, I had the chicken Cesar wrap with potato salad, and the wife had a salmon salad sandwich. The portions were big, the quality was good too.

This place was recommended to us and didn't disappoint. We had soup and grape leaves. Quick lunch stop. Nothing fancy but worth the visit!

Great diner on W 44th st. Huge menu, prompt service and good food. It was busy for lunch but a table was available. Prices were reasonable.

I wish they had more good veggie options or a basic beans on toast!😂 I had the chocolate chip pancakes which were yum and a really good portion size. The veg omelette was also good as was the veg wrap. Great place for breakfast if your hotel doesn’t have it included!

Super fast and courteous restaurant. The servers and atmosphere are great. As soon as we arrived we were seated and our order came shortly after. Our waiter was filled with charisma and perfect memory. The food is exactly what you would expect. They stick to the script with no frills. It’s perfect for on the go essentials!

I stopped here for dinner and thought it was very good. Service was great and my meal was very good. I had the chopped steak with mashed potatoes. It also came with chicken soup. The interior of the diner was nice and very clean, as well. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for that diner experience in NYC.

We had breakfast here and the food was very good and filling. All servers were very attentive. My only disappointment was the cost. Two egg meals with bread, homefries, bacon and coffee was nearly $50.

Red Flame was near our hotel, so we decide to stop in for breakfast. The location was nice and bright, if not a little snug with the seating. The good was good overall, tho the hollandaise sauce on my Benedict was dry on the surface. The servers were quick and efficient but not really friendly. Smallest coffee cups, ever!

Good food and nice fast service. Got 2 breakfast specials, a lot of food for a decent price. The coffee is strong but not bitter. Would go back, but nothing special and NYC probably has better deals (still can’t complain)

We had a quickly breakfast before venturing out for the day. The service was very quick and attentive. We had French Toast, sausage and eggs and it was all very delicious

Very tasty breakfast although a bit expensive, but probably normal for New York. Service is fast and although the place looks small (be aware that they have a second floor) you don’t have to wait long for a table. Pretty decent experience.

Standard Manhattan diner with the expected enormous menu and pan-Euro-American offerings. Service was lightning-fast on our visit and we were very pleased by how clean the restaurant was. Food is solidly middling; nothing to write home about, but fills the belly.

Fun quick place to have brunch in NYC. Quick, friendly service. Nice waiters. Fun atmosphere. They add a service charge when you pay with cc which is a little annoying, but. Ot enough to take a star away.

I went here with couple of my friends. The food was mediocre, nothing special. We ordered fried calamari and sandwiches. One of the sandwiches came with a burnt bread. I complained to the waiter about it and he literally said that the bun was grilled not burnt. If you look at the picture below you can clearly see that the bread is all black. He rudely asked if we wanted a new bun or a refund. We asked for a new bun, then he said I won’t grill it then. We’re paying for the food, why should we accept burnt food. Also, the prices here is very high not at all worth the taste of the food. Won’t ever be coming back here.

Great experience! The staff is super efficient and nice. Very attentive on coffee and water refills. (They actually came by to refill my water after I typed this lol) The food came out so fast and was exactly as ordered. This place can get pretty busy but they seem to have a good system down! The everything bagel was amazing 🤩

Quick service! Home Fries are perfect! No grease and nicely browned! Delicious eggs… perfectly poached. Good coffee. A great diner in the middle of Manhattan!!

Conveniently located across the street from the Royalton, we treated ourselves to breakfast here a couple of times. The diner is deceptively big as it's two-story seating so don't let a full first floor fool you. We got seated almost immediately both times. Service was cordial but prompt and the food was consistently good. I ordered a cup of yogurt with granola and strawberries and got fresh ingredients which was a pleasant surprise. They keep the coffee coming which is my favorite part of all. I had 5 cups of decaf one morning !

If you are looking for somewhere for a light snack or full meal, you’ll find it at the Red Flame. Ate here a few times during our visit and was really pleased we did. The food is delicious and portion sizes are generous. Staff are friendly and prices are very reasonable.

Food was delicious each time we came for breakfast! Well priced and tasty. The coffee here is decent (had bad diner coffee before) and servers were very attentive. My favourite were the pancakes with bacon - delicious yums!

Cute diner near Bryant Park. Big portions, fresh food. My absolute favorite - chiken souvlaki over salad (ask additional tzatziki sauce it's worth it;) They have big selection of desserts.

Great place with dinner ambience in the middle of Manhattan, very good omelettes, pancakes and cheese burger deluxe!!! And don't forget dinner coffees!! Around $15-$20 per person and very quick. Service has always been great and spotless clean. I recommend!

Marie was spectacular. She’s so welcoming and helpful. Really appreciate how hard she works. Table bud boys also really doing well. The menu was unique too. We shared two different omelette combos. Really good. A must visit. Only thing missing was Jerry Seinfeld and George Castanza!

Had a great time at the Red Flame Diner. We were starving and got a table extremely quickly. Service was quick and attentive. Our waitress was funny as hell too. Food was worth the price as it was hot and fresh. I’d definitely go back if I was close to the restaurant.

Super fast food service and friendly staff! Will definitely visit again. Plenty of high chairs available and some stroller parking.

One of my favorite places to eat breakfast when visiting NY. Food tastes great and the staff is nice. One thing I did notice that they changed was the way the cook their breakfast sausage. I don't remember it being cut in half. The flavor is just not the same for me. Their biscuits and gravy are killer though.

Wonderful food. Wonderful service. Our waiter was very nice and took excellent care of us. The eggs were fresh and perfectly prepared. All the food was very good. We will have breakfast there, again tomorrow.

Good breakfast place. Quick and friendly service. The food is average diner fare, but pleasant overall experience.

I went here for the first time and even though there’s a lot of diners in the Midtown area this is definitely one of the best diners I’ve been to in a long time. The service was the only thing I didn’t like. Even when they are slow they constantly push and rush you. When I’m ordering and eating a meal I like to relax and not feel rushed. The food however was good. I ordered the Hot Open Turkey Sandwich and it was excellent. The turkey was juicy and the bread was fresh, and they actually used real giblet gravy unlike most diners I’ve been to. Overall I had a good experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Food quality is poor. Eggs overcooked and the bacon was soggy. There are way better diners I'm NYC
