This is a must for date-night, a night on the town, or a celebratory occasion. My boyfriend and I went for my 28th birthday and it was PERFECT. Service was lovely. We had reservations and was seated within 5min. The location is great, we could walk from our hotel, it’s like 3-5min from Time Square. The food was so flavorful and everything was cook perfectly, and the drinks were strong — I have no complaints. I ordered the filet medallions, a drink, and they bring complimentary bread (which has this creamy butter/honey glaze). Together our ticket was like $117 (2 entrees & 2 drinks). The only thing that somewhat threw me off was the dress code. Online it gives the impression people should be dressed up (and we were), but other people were wear jerseys, sneakers, etc. I will definitely be back though. The food and environment are top notch.

Food and service were top notch. The best part of our dinner was this little bread that came out in a crock pot looking thing with butter-slathered all over it. The steak was cooked perfect and this might be the best cream spinach I've ever had in my life. You're definitely going to want to make a reservation and this is not a quiet restaurant so be prepared for noise . The butter cake was worth the 7000 calories.

Del Frisco’s has a great ambiance and location that makes you feel you’re going to have an amazing steak! But the results are not great at all. For the price you’re paying you can get a better steak almost anywhere. We had two different cuts (med-rare) and while 2/3rd of the steak was good the last 3rd of both had a lot of tough tendons or fascia that made it inedible. We even saw another table have the same issue and spit out the tough meat like we did. Even if the steak was not out of this world, I don’t expect this from a restaurant of this level. The staff was alright for the most part but when they asked if the food was good felt like a formality and not genuine care and by the time we could answer had already moved to another table. What was weird was we weren’t offered the bread and noticed other tables got it which felt a little off. If I go back it would only be for the crab fried rice and the butter cake. Overall, disappointing experience because even if they steak was to “taste” I atleast expect it to be a good cut, or the sever being concerned when you can see big chunks of uneaten food on the plate.

I had high expectations for this place and it wasn’t bad. My only complaint would be the judgmental staff that determines how you should be treated based off your looks. But, when you order $600US worth of food and drinks between 2 people, the vibe obviously changed. The highlight of the night was the Butter Cake which you must order if you’re coming here. With that being said, it’s your standard steakhouse with classic dishes, nothing really memorable. Will not be returning.

Our favorite place for dinner and good wine. Atmosphere is friendly and staff are very welcoming. Food is absolutely perfect every time. The Caesar salad, salmon steak, filet were perfect. Wines are some of the best.

Came for a business lunch at $39 each. Tbh, it’s a good deal, you get an entree and a starter. I got the steak medallions but if you like steak, it probably won’t hit like that. Next time I’d take the salmon instead. Otherwise it’s a really fancy, corporate environment type place. Come for the vibes, for more than food.

While not my absolute favorite steakhouse in NYC, I have always really liked and recommend Del Frisco's Double Eagle steakhouse in Midtown Manhattan, primarily for the outstanding overall experience. The "business" lunch special is always fantastic, and the atmosphere for lunch or dinner is amazing. It's definitely a top 5 or 6 steakhouse in Manhattan and a place that I always recommend for people visiting Midtown Manhattan.

I visited this location for a special occasion and had Rommel as my server. The meal was absolutely fantastic, NYC is known for its steak and this location definitely delivered. The bread they brought out was warm & delicious.. it was easy to fill up on. The ahi tuna starter was fresh and the meatballs were soft and more ish. The steak itself cooked to perfection and the mushrooms paired well with it. The butter cake was our finale and it really closed off the night well. I can’t speak highly enough of this place, and Rommel’s fantastically, attentive service he provided.

This is my all time favorite steakhouse in NYC. Unfortunately it's been a few years since I've eaten there and feel like things have moved toward mass dining vs a true fine dining experience. Our entire meal was delicious with the exception of undercooked brussel sprouts. You could tell that all the salads, appetizers, and sides had been predished and sitting under a hot lamp due to the crust that had formed on the top of the food. The service was excellent and I guess because everything was already sitting waiting to go... Came out very fast. The staff was great about the brussels and removed them from the bill. I also feel like the cheese cake changed - I recall it being super light and fluffy - maybe I'm wrong but this was heavier and dense. While I did not try it, my friends said the cauliflower steak was excellent and it was great to see they had a perfect vegetarian option.

I came here with a couple of co workers, we sat at the bar initially we wanted a table but had to wait a long time for it. Best decision made was to stay at the bar, our bartender Dan made our night incredible, delicious drink, every recommendation he made was outstanding, his services was 100/10, like please give this guy a raise. I’ll be coming back soon because lucky me, I work really close.

Best steak house I've ever eaten at. The service is fantastic. The food here is also top notch. Also, don't hesitate to ask the server/bartender for the sommelier's recommendation. He had a very thorough knowledge of their stock and helped me find exactly what I wanted. It is very expensive, but as I always say, you get what you pay for.

A beautiful evening to celebrate my birthday. Our server, Brian, was amazing!! The lobster bisque was so creamy, delicious, and well seasoned. My entire party realized all of us needed the 16oz ribeye. It was so tender and delicious!! I'm still thinking about it!! I had such an amazing time!! Thanks!

We went as a party of 9, and I highly recommend you getting your reservation ahead of time I had a 24 oz Porter house and a 16-20 oz aged Ribeye, both cooked to a hot pink medium rare center (we're talking absolutely textbook). We also ordered the lobster Mac, garlic mash, Brussels and bacon, pork belly appetizer and a few bottles of wine. From beginning to end there were absolutely no flaws or delays in service and out server even know what we'd ask for before we did so. SB: The old fashioned I ordered at the bar was an 8/10 and the man was moving so fast I believe if it wasn't a crowed Saturday night, it would have been 10/10. You guys made the son of a butcher very happy!

Amazing steakhouse experience, came here with a large group and had a great time. The tomahawk was cooked a bit under but loved it anyways. Some of my friend's cuts were cooked over though. The bacon here is very meaty and a lot thicker than other steakhouses, it's very good still. The crab cakes were my favorite and the other sides we got were very good as well. The bread was great as well. All the desserts were very good. My favorite was the rice crispey cake. Highly reccomended, will be back again!

Came here with a group of 4 and it was a great night with only a couple of hiccups. To start, I will say the hostesses were less than welcoming and acted like they barely had time for you, not the best start. However, drinks were great at the bar while we waited. Dinner was wonderful, we had the broiled oysters which were nice (not amazing), but the Tuna Tartar was fantastic. The thick cut bacon was one giant piece and was delicious, great staple of any steakhouse. For entrees, a couple people got the 8 Oz filet which they apparently loved. I shared a Tomahawk steak with another, which was a good portion for 2, not too much food (although it's hard to be too much steak). Apparently getting the "special" with the 2 small sides is not actually a deal and was told to get the regular order which is the same size steak. Sides we got the corn, mashed potatoes, lobster Mac n cheese, all great. I definitely recommend this place, if you can afford it/ have an expense card.

One of my favorite steakhouses in NYC. This place is classier and trendier than other old man steak houses like Sparks and Peter Lugers. Place never let's me down with their quality of food and service. However place can get loud at dinner time.

Amazing meal! The crab cakes appetizer (recommendation from waiter) were the best I’ve ever had. Service was incredible. View through the window was gorgeous (Christmas season). All-in-all I highly recommend

Food was good but overloaded with butter. My crab fried rice didn't have crab in it. The atmosphere was nice, but on January 8th, Christmas decors should have been taken down already, and the overall design and details are dated. My fiance and I, black and Filipino, were clearly a second priority to our server's all white table.

If you’re looking for an impeccable meal with amazing plating look no further. Our experience here was beyond phenomenal! From the moment you’re greeted you will feel special. Erik was our server and he was not only knowledgeable about parings and selections, but personable as well. Travis, the GM checked on us middle meal and made us feel special (and we watched him do this to many customers). The atmosphere and the creations of the Chef rank this as a 5 star! Make sure to come here and create memories! Del Frisco has it right all the way around! Be sure to notice, as well, everyone who compliments the wait staff. They have multiple people servicing your table. Simply a must go to place! So blessed! Travis, Erik and crew thank you for being so amazing! Best wishes for continued success

This place is DIVINE! The decor is rustic yet modern & soo spacious. Has an old-school mobster feel to it with the low lit lights. Our waiter was wonderful, he explained everything, made great recommendations, knew the food and was attentive. I love how the waiters here bring ur food to your an share our portions for u. I love, love, love this! My food was well done. I can see that each dish is made is high quality ingredients, is flavorful & comes in big portions. I’m so addicted.

My family and I recently visited Del Frisco Double Eagle in New York City, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations. Despite making reservations in advance, we were still made to wait an extra 20 minutes for a table, which was an inauspicious start to our evening. Once seated, we were eager to enjoy our meal, but our enthusiasm quickly waned as our orders arrived. We had specifically requested that all of our kids' steaks be prepared medium well, and mine medium. However, to our dismay, all the steaks were served rare. We politely asked our server if they could rectify the error, hoping for a quick resolution. Regrettably, when the steaks returned, they were overcooked and well done. As a family that had traveled all the way from Texas, known for its excellent steaks, to enjoy a renowned New York City steakhouse, we were deeply disappointed by the quality of the meal and the overall dining experience. The disparity between our expectations and the reality of the evening left us feeling disheartened and dissatisfied. Despite the establishment's reputation and our anticipation for a memorable dining experience, the service and food fell short of what we had hoped for. As a result, we left this Steak House feeling let down and unlikely to return or recommend it to others. In conclusion, our experience at Del Frisco’s left much to be desired, and we sincerely hope that the restaurant will take steps to improve the consistency of its service and the quality of its dishes to ensure that future patrons do not encounter similar disappointments.

Superb steakhouse experience located in NYC few minutes from Time square. Elegant ambiance from warm sweet buttery bread served as a starter i can finish the entire thing!! We ordered shared tomahawk and sides of cream spinach and lobster mac and cheese and so delish and tasty. Food orgasm right there! We would definitely come back.

One of the top 5 steakhouses in NYC I’ve been to. We got the ribeye steak with lobster Mac and cheese on the side. The steak was juicy and tender as expected and I enjoyed large chunks of lobster meat in the Mac and cheese. With high ceilings and large glass windows, this place had an open and vibrant vibe which I also liked. If you’re near Central Park looking for a nice steakhouse, highly recommend giving this place a visit.

I have nothing bad to say at all. Our food arrived promptly, service was great, and the food was exquisite. The drinks were great as well. I had the Chilean sea bass and the fish was light and buttery while the crab fried rice was good, my only qualm is that I wanted more of that sauce that was so beautifully drizzled on my plate. The others in my party enjoyed their steaks and lamb which were cooked exactly to their ask. Sides: Please make sure to get the lobster Mac & the mashed potatoes. I loved them both. P.S we miss the old bread 😩. This new one with honey butter is good but not the same.

First off we didn't get our complimentary bread which I didn't realize came with the meal till we were leaving. We got the menu sampler for 2. The bacon appetizer was good but very spicy on some pieces others were sweet. Cesar salad was fine. Then we had the New York, filet, shrimp and lobster and that was all cooked perfectly and delicious. Mashed potatoes were okay my husband and I thought they tasted similar in flavor to like a clam chowder but not fishy if that makes sense and the creamed corn was okay. The dessert butter cake and strawberry cheesecake were amazing, we took them to go because we were stuffed. I would go back just for those! Take home butter cake didn't come with the ice cream. They were packed and super busy, so I am guessing that's why we didn't get bread. I also put on our reservation it was my birthday but doesn't seem like they do anything special for that which is fine! You definitely need a reservation!

The check in experience was quick and painless, but it was busy when we went, so the waiting area got really crowded. We told our server that we were trying to make a show, and he was extremely accommodating. He was quick to take our order and was attentive to serving us efficiently without feeling rushed. The food itself was pretty good. The highlight was the dessert (butter cake and strawberry cheesecake) though we couldn't finish ours from being so full from our meal. We had the wagyu meatballs, the bacon, the A5 Wagyu steak with creamed spinach and creamed corn. Everything was A/A+ except the bacon which I would give a B.

Del Frisco's is top notch. You cannot deny it. The food is superbly prepared and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Of course go for the steak! But the other entrees are good too. The sides are well portioned. For dessert definitely get the Butter Cake! Del Frisco's is well worth the money.

If you love steak, come here! I was introduced to this steakhouse by my brother and thank goodness he did! I ordered a medium rare steak with mash potatoes and it was delicious. The steak was to my liking and tender. The mash potato was seasoned well and creamy. Also the window overlooking 6th Ave was pretty cool. I would like to return on a special occasion!

I have been coming here for over 12 yrs and never had a disappointing meal. Went here recently with the wifey after a show at Radio city mall. The 🍷 was 👌🏾 and they have a good bourbon selection. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly with the pink center. The spinach and Brussels sprouts complemented the steak perfectly and were the right sides. Will come back here again. Go give this place a try and u ll thank me later:

Great steak. Great service. I went here for lunch and everything was great. The steak was cooked perfectly. The drinks were mixed expertly. The waiter had great suggestions. Even though it was lunch, they let us order of the full menu.

Exceptional service and great, tender cuts of meat. 4 instead of 5 stars as the seasoning was mostly limited to a smoked flavor for the dishes. Recommend the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts.

It was quite the experience to dine here with my co workers and I. The staff and waiter we had were very friendly and explained everything on the menu clearly with recommendations on what to eat. The food that we ordered tasted far beyond what any of us expected to get. Overall this is a fine place to eat at if you have the budget for it, the food is well worth the price but probably not a place youll be able to eat at everyday but definitely a place to feast at for a special occasion. I would certainly eat here again the next opportunity I can manage

Found this place by chance and so happy I did! This was by far one of the best steaks I’ve had in my life, especially with addition of truffle sauce they have. Cocktails were awesome too. I can’t wait to get back here again on my next visit to NY.

  • 5/5 J H (. 1 year ago on Google
It was everything my family promised and more...incredibly friendly staff, massive selection of wine, cocktails and other libations, spacious, modern aesthetic meets turn of the century Mid-Atlantic sensibilities, warm, cosmopolitan steak-house atmosphere and delicious meat. What else could you ask for? For a Christmas Eve rush, we felt neither harried nor shoved into the periphery of those who served us...they were attentive, kind, knowledgeable and gracious, especially with some of the other, more belligerent customers. And, of course, the food was wonderful...a prime rib the size of Long Island but tender and juicy, perfect medium rare. Crab cakes with barely any filler and a warm, creamy bisque to chase away the cold. Surprisingly, it was the butter cake that really shook us...was not expecting to enjoy it more than the lemon cream, but I did. You feel like a king after a night like that, especially in the heart of the city. Certainly a memorable Christmas Eve. Pity I needed to travel so far to have so much fun...but it was more than worth it. 👍

Great service and delicious food. I had a reservation for 2 people and only waited less than 10 min to be seated on a busy night. If you are looking for a private dinner then this might not be a good fit since most tables are out in the open and you’ll have people and wait staff walking by a lot. It wasn’t a bother to us but I know others might want a different dinning experience. We got the Tomahawk Steak for two, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and lobster Mac n cheese & would recommend all of them. Waitress was attentive and overall had a great experience. We can’t wait to go again! ☺️☺️

One of the best Steakhouses I've been to (in top 2 thus far, in fact). And I've frequented Montreal, Quebec Steakhouses, and come from Toronto, Canada area. I take steak very, very serious! The service was top notch. Even making jokes. Always appreciated not to be so damn serious all the time lol. Just because you're in a fancy, top class Steakhouse, it doesn't mean you can't have some good 'ol laughs. In fact, shouldn't the good life naturally bring and encourage even more of this??!! Our server was even keen to notice we were likely from out of town and a couple and offered to take our picture. Always nice to offer. Additionally, he offered suggestions of places to go and avoid. Now that I went off on a tangent, back to the good stuff... The sharable Tomahawk steak was to die for. Perfectly cooked and tender. Mouth watering and tasting good. Only comparable to very few other Steakhouses and we go to many. And the sides, the sides were easily the best I've ever had. Was very surprised. Not to mention on point with portion sizes. The cream spinach and lobster Mac and cheese. Wow! Even the bread was fantastic! And I don't like bread much. Definitely will be back to Del Frisco's Double Eagle on upcoming trips to NYC. Only downside is, it'll be hard to try other Steakhouses there, especially on short trips.

The Fried Lobster Tails and crab cakes are 🔥🔥🔥. However the scallops are overpriced $50+ for 4 scallops. Sheesh never again. Tomahawk steak was decent, but tbh I like Ruth Chris steaks better. The lemon cake tasted like a refrigerator, that’s was disappointing. It was actually hard to eat took it home but ended up throwing it out. I’m hoping it was just stored next to onions or garlic or something by accident. Place is packed so expect a wait past your reservation time.

We visited Del Frisco's for my sister's birthday. While I have been a few times as this is my son's favorite restaurant the food was exceptional. I don't have pictures of all our entrees because once they were placed on the table we were devouring our food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant 👍🏽

What more could I say on top of what’s already been said and what’s already known? All I want to add is that no matter how popular this place is, I think it’s still worth it. The staff, as frantically busy as they were, did their best still to give us their attention and care. Food was phenomenal, experience was top notch.
