It was an amazing experience. From the drinks to all the dessert items were amazing. The portions are small but the taste was amazing. The service is also good, not great. I'm not sure if it's a Michelin star restaurant or not, for the food it should be but not for service. I ordered drinks from the waiter but he didn't show up later, the bartender searched the whole Restaurant where to give them, I asked him if they are for my table. But the food was amazingly great. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Great ambience, amazing food, fabulous service - loved it! The portions are decently sized and can be deceptive - some may appear less but are very filling. Presentation adds more appeal to the food, which already is delicious. I was amazed at how well the flavors in every single dish blend together and yet everything can be distinctly tasted. The cocktails are well curated too. Highly recommend and would definitely go again!

As a child with my family we used to frequent all the time Akbar on Park Avenue( it no longer exists), that’s how I got introduced to Indian Cuisine, they had a very large and diverse menu. So I love Indian cuisine. While walking back to my hotel around midnight I saw the restaurant, the next day I made it a point to visit because of its proximity. I did not know it was a critically acclaimed restaurant only after the fact. Went for brunch on the 31st of December, its prix fixe, we were delighted and enchanted with their cuisine which is fusion and sophisticated, with each plate we were pleasantly surprised and delighted. We had reservations to spend New Year’s Eve elsewhere, we immediately booked a table for dinner, we were very lucky they were able to accommodate us in the last minute, and again we had a wonderful dining experience saying good bye to 2023. Loved their cocktail drinks Mudra Punch, Proper Copper and the Equis Syrah wine…They serve a complementary miniature naam stuffed with blue cheese and a a warm turmeric coconut milk, just awesome. No regrets whatsover, the staff is extremely attentive. Will surely return on my next visit.

The food was not too bad but if you ask me, I prefer traditional Indian food. However, everything did have a good flavor. The reason for so little stars is because of the COVID precautions. Before we sat down, the hostess told us that we have to put our masks on when the waiter takes our order. I have no problem with this, however, the manager told everyone in the restaurant multiple times not to forget to wear their masks every time an employee comes to the table. The problem is the restaurant is very narrow and you’re bound to have staff be close to your table so none of us were sure what counted as being at our table. Also air circulates indoors so putting a mask on only when someone comes to your table doesn’t make the virus magical. The manager claimed that this was a state wide government rule and no other restaurant was abiding by it, however I googled it and it is not (its recommended but not required). Furthermore, if you are going to have a rule like this you have to give people some warning that the staff is coming to your table so you’re not in the middle of eating while they approach and then get mad at us for not wearing mask. The staff also kept coming to our table every 10 minutes so it was pretty annoying and gross to have to put masks on while we were eating Indian food out of all food. Also they had a rule that we could only eat for 90 minutes. I don’t really care, but they could have at least told us when we made the reservation that the rules are strict. I heard multiple tables around us complaining so it’s not just me. Again, the food was mediocre and the rules were too insane so I don’t think we will return anytime soon.

Everything from the food to the service was absolutely amazing! The food was amazing and I loved the Indian spice that came with a lot of dishes. They have to be the best Indian restaurant in New York City. I love the flexibility they offer with a 3 or 4 course and to choose the different options under each category. 4 courses and an accompaniment was very filling for me so you may want to go with 3 courses. I highly recommend going here as you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful and classy Indian restaurant, great for groups as well as for intimate dinner dates. We tried a variety of items from the menu, while the food itself was not particularly outstanding, some of the flavors and the presentations were really impressive. I particularly enjoyed the desserts. They have a good selection of wines to go with the food. The service was extremely friendly and our server was very knowledgeable and helpful, which we appreciated greatly.

If you are planning to visit this place for the chef's tasting menu so like I did, please do not waster your time as they stopped serving chef'stasting menu. The portion size was small and I felt as if they are serving food just to taste and not to actually eat. It reminded me of miniature dishes. Price is not worth for the taste and portion size. Ambience, maintenance and my host were great! My starts are for them and not the food :)

Love the food here! Usually do the tasting but with the new outdoor sitting it’s only a la carte. We ordered all the appetizers and mid courses, and one main, pepper chicken Kerala. Everything has great flavor and was good for sharing!

Amazing food experience !!!! I chose this place for my wife’s birthday and the food did not let me down. Service was amazing and all our food needs were accounted before getting them to us. We chose the 4 course and each course stood out. Only taking out 1 star for the ambiance , as my seating was not apt for the occasion. Overall ambiance was not bad. Must try !!!!

Fantastic Indian fine dining. A beautiful space and creative food that is also vegetarian friendly and an extensive bar menu that includes mocktails. The service was a bit slow at times, but not too bad. The saffron milk malai was perhaps the best dessert I’ve ever had. Every dish was very well done.

This restaurant is close to Columbus circle. The ambiance is very simple, but elegant. The service was simply amazing. The wait staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and explained the menu very well. The food and drinks came out promptly. The menu is prix fix and has many great options. The starters were small, but so full of flavor that it was satisfying. The main dish was just the right size, be sure to get the naan and dal accompaniment. It was all finger licking good! Definitely visit, you will not regret the decision. I am a vegetarian, and had many options. There is a complimentary starter drink that is simply divine. I asked for more, and they were quick to bring it with a smile

Food was delicious and servers were friendly. For a fine dining restaurant, we felt the ambience could have been better and tables could be farther away from each other. While making the reservation, I had mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday. So they were very prompt in wishing and even lit a candle with the dessert, which was a good extra touch.

A must go for Indian fine dining in New York. I recently dined at this place and it has left me thoroughly impressed. The ambience was exquisite, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food not only tasted divine but was presented with an artistic flair that elevated the dining experience. The attentive service added to the overall enjoyment, making it a memorable culinary journey. Highly recommend for those seeking a delightful blend of ambiance, taste, and service.

Amazing experience.. A-lot expensive for a dinner and menu was hard to comprehend but it was delicious.. no doubt. Staff was very helpful and ambience was pleasant. Multiple Vegetarians options available. Must try once..I was expecting a little more from main course and desert but rest every single thing was top notch.. Mouth watering appetizers and mid course.. The tofu was so soft.. I have never had the tofu this fresh. Look at photos for dish names

PSA: I’m 100% Indian and grew up eating the best home-cooked food so I’m very critical when it comes to Indian food lol. This place was an 1000/10. Every single dish was very unique and tasted amazing. The flavors were all on point and the portions were perfect. There’s not a lot of creative Indian food out there & I’m super happy to have finally gotten the chance to eat here. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Best high end Indian restaurant in NYC. You can select from 3/4 courses which are $80/$95 respectively. Vegetarian options are best here. Definitely take the 🌽 dish as main course and try the sphere potato Chaat as appetizer. They have amazing cocktails too. All desserts are very good. We had a hard time choosing from one of them. Overall great classy restaurant for a date night, family gathering or meetups.

I really liked the Assamese pork dumplings as well as the smoked eggplant bharta, they were excellent. Everything that followed after these two were very good but not mind blowing. The sago dessert I forgot to take a photo of was not good: the sago wasn’t chewy and just tasted like it wasn’t cooked well. The restaurant staff was kind to change the dessert selection.

My son and I were there on 2/24/24 celebrating a long-awaited visit. We ran a little late for our reservation because of traffic, but our table was held. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with exceptional service and hospitality. We each had the four course meal. The food was absolutely amazing. The ingredients were fresh, deliciously spiced, and tantalizingly presented. I loved the soup so much that I was given the recipe. What a special treat. My son said he would bring his coworkers to the restaurant in the future. I highly recommend Indian Accent. Pictures to follow. The only photo missing was of the Mudra Punch (non alcoholic). It was sublime. I didn't want the drink to end.

We went here for our anniversary celebrations. This is a great place with exceptionally friendly staff, great ambience and good food. We took the four course meal, it was worth it, each course was tasty and well presented. You will easily spend 2 hours here. As expected, food is expensive. They have pretty good vegetarian options.

Hands down the best experience we had in NYC. The food is amazing, service is excellent. The servers are so friendly and informative. Our server suggested a great meal plan for us. We tried so many things in a 3 course menu that we were full by the end of it.

Innovative fancy appetizers that tasted good too! Main course was just okay and felt they are pushing regular dishes as fancy. Good Ambiance. Little expensive. We celebrated our Anniversary there and had a good experience overall.

My husband and I stopped in here for non-alcoholic drinks and it was amazing. The drinks were top of the line, the service was so lovely—our bartender even let us taste an extra cocktail, and he was so friendly. The whole restaurant is a stylish, tranquil environment and we hope to come back for a whole meal someday soon!

Good food! But too spicy. When the waiter came to us asking how was the food, my friend said the dish was too spicy. Then they asked: would you like something else m. My friend picked one from what they recommended. However, they did not fully disclose the substitute will have extra charge. We thought it would be just a substitute. If they can have transparent communication and let us know there will be an extra charge, things would be better. Overall good experience.

Fantastic food and drinks - sort of Indian fusion - select your courses from the “tasting menu”. Very pricey but really enjoyable experience and would recommend for a special occasion or just a great night out.

Must Go if you are in mood to have fine Indian dining in NYC. Food was exceptionally delicious and presentation was beautiful. Every dish was presented in a unique very fancy way. I have never had naans like these ever before. Those were stuffed with protein if your choice. Serving size didn’t look huge but it was filling. Menu is little confusing though, everyone at our table took a while to decide which course they are gonna take and then what food.

The food and service were the BEST. The best Indian food I had in the city- it was better than Semma in my opinion. The cuisine was outstanding, with each dish being exceptionally flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the spicy eggplant fish, and the service was excellent, complemented by delicious cocktails. Tbh, I enjoyed every dishes for real; butter chicken kulcha was also so good. We got the 4 course meal and I was super full. We came for the birthday dinner and will definitely revisit!!!!!

We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We took the 3 couse meal. This place is on the expensive side but the meals are delicious and very well presented. They have great vegetarian options as well. The only thing is that for the price and the experience, the decor and ambiance could have been a bit better. But overall the food is delicious and I would highly recommend this place.

Great service! Definitely manage expectations before you dine here. It comes with everything that a boujee, upscale restaurant typically comes with - elaborate plating, great service, decent food and mid/small portion sizes. For a 3/4 course meal, the portion size is perfect. As a vegan/vegetarian I especially loved the sweet corn and tofu medu vadai entrées and sweet potato appetizer. The stuffed mushroom kulcha's felt a little dry for my liking. My brother who consumes meat really liked the chicken malai tikka main! He said it was one of the best meat-based food he's ever had! If you're okay splurging on food, you should give this one a try!

I was in the restaurant for a brunch. The decoration was good, and I loved the low noise level. I ordered the burrata, uttapam in curry leaf lamb and butter chicken kulcha. Also, I had the makhan malai as dessert. The dishes were quite different from what I had in other Indian restaurants, from the ingredients to cooking techniques to presentation. There’s definitely some influence from other cuisines. For the uttapam and kulcha, it tasted good. But I would hoped the portions size for the protein could be bigger. makhan malai is pretty good as it is not very cloying.

Food was Amazing! Great flavor! Service was even better! The whole staff was super friendly! Going in I was thinking it’s little pricey and after finishing I think it’s very cheap for what they give you for the price they charge! Make sure you go hungry as they give you good amount of food! We all got 4 course meals, when you look at the menu please make sure you decide want to order for all 4 course at the same time, the chef want’s to know ahead of time, they bring everything one by one and they give you enough time in between, never felt rushed, I highly recommend this place!

This is all of 5 stars. I truly don't understand how they're not a Michelin star restaurant when some of the Michelin places i have gone don't have the level of atmosphere, trained servers, and food flavors in their dishes. For the price this place is unbeatable, i will say that. We had such a great experience and will return. The only thing that was a little dissapointing was their beverage list (wine, and beer, the cocktails were good). If you love Indian food give this a try ASAP. If you don't also give it a try as many of the dishes arent spicy which is what I had because i can't currently eat overly spicy foods.

Love this place! Food is always consistently tasty and interesting, a different take on typical indian cuisine, even compared to the high-end ones. It was packed on a weeknight. The blue cheese naan (served as the bread course) is so darn good. Highlights were the dhal, sticky ribs, and lamb served ‘peking duck’ style with mini roti. Also the treacle tart was super rich.

If you’re looking for a fine dine Indian restaurant in New York you found the right spot 🥳 Indian Accent offers a wide selection of menu to choose from. You can select one food for each course. The look of the food is not a typical Indian cuisine but it definetely taste great. We would definetelly recommend butter checken naan. It was totally amazing. Also sweet pickle pork ribs was juicy and delicious. There were also vegetarian options and we also recommend you to give it a try.

Went for a business meeting. Got the table outside because of some miscommunication. I had high expectations from the place and completely disappointed. Got served with appetizers surprise which was almost half a finger cheese bread. Not at all flavorful. Then we got chicken tikka balls which were good, prawn koliwada which was super influenced by sauces flavors. At last the ghee roasted lamb was the biggest flop. It had uncooked rumali rotis. We asked for onions and lemon and for the first time I got a response at least from an Indian restaurant that they don’t have onion and would lemon be ok? How can an Indian restaurant not have onions? Avoid this place. It’s overrated. In my pics you can check the amount of oil on the garlic naan was outrageous.

4.5/5 We got the 4 course meal. There was three of us so we all chose different things to try each plate. Everything was good and they do a good job with presentation. My branzino though was just okay. The dumplings were amazing! The wagyu was just okay. Nothing was bad each plate had an interesting taste and flavor! The desserts were great! And drinks were good.

I can’t say enough about Indian Accent. We have eaten here more times than I can count (probably 10 since November) and it never fails to be a brilliant experience. The food, the cocktails, the service and the room — all perfection. We stumbled on it doing a Google search for indian restaurants one night and had no idea what sensory experience we would have. Here are some photos from a recent brunch. I love the Transcendental Medication cocktail but The Bloody Mary deserves a shout out too (no photo).

Awesome! Went based on the reviews and it lived up to all the positive reviews. Place was full and very lively but required no wait for a table of three. The waiter was excellent and did not rush us. I had the shish kabob and popadom for starter. Followed by king prawns Vindaloo with egg fried rice and garlic naan. All of it top notch and at a great price as well. Will be back on my next stop in Manchester.

Fun dishes included the beet and peanut butter tikki with goat cheese raita; sweet pickle ribs; the incredible ghee roast lamb; and the delicate and delicious makhan malai with saffron milk. Went with a friend for outdoor dining late on a Monday night in September. Friendly staff and quick service. They offered us the little hot soupy drink plus some baked bites with blue cheese in them. Quite good. We had the ribs, potato chaat, sea bass with pulao, kofta with garlic naan, and makhan malai. Servings are small in size, especially the kofta. The dessert was huge and filling though. The food is all quite delicious, just also expensive.

Very airy, light - and not overwhelmingly sweet :) I liked that I could taste the saffron as well as the almonds and hints of rose. Mughal fortification and lapsang sour were great, refreshing cocktails.

The first time we were here in 2019 and got gustatory emotions, it was an unforgettable trip to an Indian restaurant. But recently we came here with our friends, the service is not up to par, and the portions are already smaller, the food is not as sophisticated as before ... something has changed.

Amazing modern Indian food. Pricy but definitely worth the experience

Highly overhyped. Mediocre quality. Considering the overpriced menu, its a total letdown.
