I cannot believe the reviews for this place. Currently staying here for hundreds of dollars a night and there’s an extremely noisy open bar in the atrium all evening. Astonishingly their supposed solution to the noise is playing white noise in your room. That is completely bizarre. Air con is also noisy, and no one has even attempted to do anything about it, despite asking. Service is somewhere between nonexistent and outright rude. There is *zero* dedicated common space for guests. It’s all about making as much money as possible. Unfortunately we face another few nights here - don’t make the same mistake we did. And just to anticipate the managerial response about how they are disappointed to hear this; we’re actually here, and we’ve actually tried to get help from staff to no avail.

The Roxy is a solid hotel. What brings me back isn’t the rooms—which have modern decor, wood paneling and gorgeous views; or the bar which frequents live jazz bands, or the central location seconds away from the canal street ACE stop, but it’s the staff and the consistency that management puts into making every guest feel welcome. The Roxy goes above and beyond both in customer service when booking a reservation directly from the hotel, and will often find a way to upgrade you or discount your room if you’re a returning guest, and the lobby staff is always smiling and ready to assist you. Their room service is good, and though not extremely plant based or vegan friendly, but the quality is good for the price, and definitely saves you a night of looking for a spot in tribeca, and offers you some privacy during your stay. Overall I couldn’t recommend the hotel more if it’s your first or your hundredth time in the big apple. 5 stars.

Live Jazz Concerts in the evening! Elegant open restaurant! Comfortable cinemas in the basement! Jack's Coffee Cafe! Attentive Staff! In TRIBECA-near the Holland Tunnel and not far from the East River Lower Bridges. Few blocks away from SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy, and West Village. Near World Trade Center and Financial District. Should I continue?

The Roxy Hotel has a very unique vibe. The hotel is full of Jazz music. Love it! Also, one of the fun facts is that they have a cinema. My cousin and I enjoyed the stay very much. Although the hotel only has eight floors, We could see the One World Observatory from our six-story room. Nice view and quiet. The staff were very helpful’.Thank you for the hospitality:) .

We visit NYC regularly. First time at Roxy with the family. Love the location!!! Great part of Manhattan. Love the vibe, the history. Not at hectic as other parts of Manhattan, chill location. Ate at the restaurant, superb! Cafe and lounge area was very nice. Live jazz was excellent. Service was wonderful. Family, couple, solo - top notch spot to stay. Plenty of shopping and dinning and sighting around.

I chose this hotel for its art deco decor and reputation for live jazz music set in a very chic bar. I was not disappointed. The live music is of a very high standard. The location is also quite Central so easy to get to most parts of NYC by subway. The rooms are however very noisy. I was on a high floor and still I can hear loud traffic, sirens, garbage trucks etc nightly. The windows are not soundproof. Also the way the hotel is designed is that the live music travels upwards in a sound tunnel/chamber as all the rooms are facing the Central atrium where the sound comes from. Staff are for the most part helpful and friendly. The maitre'd of the restaurant found me a table at very short notice since I am a guest staying here. The in room dining staff however are not very responsive or friendly.

Our only regret is that we didn't have enough time to check out all the cool venues within the hotel. * Note to perspective guests, 3 of those venues are pretty much part of the hotel lobby (Bar, coffee shop and restaurant). The Jazz Club and the theater are downstairs. I get what other guest are talking about, it is a bit noisy with the live music and we didn't expect the open atrium setup with the live music lofting up to the guest rooms... a better depiction of the layout might be worth considering so no one is caught off guard. But we were lucky enough to be in one of the corners off of the atrium, and the room did have a built in sound machine which worked quite well. I didn't even notice the noise once I was in bed. Customer service was 5 star from check-in to several hours after checkout when we came back to pick up our bags and they had a car lined up to take us to the airport. We'll be back again for sure.

The Roxy is my new favorite hotel. The location is amazing, the parking garage is only 3 blocks away & the mood/vibe of the Roxy is immaculate. Almost everything is art deco, even down to the mini fridge & alarm clocks. The amenities are well-stocked with a pricing menu next to it. The staff is wonderful & very accommodating. The fitness center has everything you would need for a quick workout while on vacation. The jazz club downstairs is fantastic & the manager & wait staff were very accommodating. I almost wish this weren't in the middle of the city as it is entirely possible to spend a weekend here without even leaving the building! There's the movie theater, the Django jazz club, the main restaurant & bar (also with live music,) plus the coffee shop & fitness center. I actually enjoyed the fact that I could hear the piano music from the main restaurant area in my 2nd floor room. Once it was time for bed, I turned on the sound muffler/white noise knob on the wall & was able to fall asleep quickly. I only have 2 questions when it comes to the Roxy: where can I buy their pillows (they were amazing!) & when can I come back?!

Super cool & well-located hotel. Everyone who we encountered who worked there was fabulous. Really top notch service. The rooms were unique and well-designed and the bed was super comfy. Highly recommend, we plan to return. Check out the happy hour for great drinks and delicious oysters!

This hotel lived up to our expectations. It’s a solid 4 star hotel. Rooms and lobby are just as photos shown in reviews and website. Great location and fun lobby bar with live music. Some people have mentioned the noise level with the music but we did not have any issues. The jazz music was great and certainly not loud enough to prevent anyone who was in their room from sleeping. Some odd “rules” about 2 drink minimums while the music is on and some tables having table service while others near the pool table were self serve. It wasn’t a problem, it’s more that it was confusing and seemed to be an easy area that the hotel could provide a service rather than making it more of an effort on the guests’ part to go and get their own drinks. Again, good choice for a 4 star hotel in SoHo.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Roxy! What a cool hotel with great decor, live music, hip bar and all in a wonderful area of SOHO close to so many great attractions. You are just adjacent to both Chinatown and Little Italy. Washington Square Park is just a short walk. You are also situated right on Broadway so a straight shot to walk uptown and hit shops along the way - we walked up to Korea town for some BBQ - just a short 45 minute walk if the weather is nice and if not its easy to grab an Uber or Taxi uptown. We felt welcome right away at the Roxy - staff was friendly and check in was easy. The rooms were pretty cool as well and the bed was comfortable - we slept well. The restaurant service was a bit lacking at Breakfast - they seemed a big disorganized even though it was not busy. We were not given coffee refills or asked if we would like one. The hotel has a cool bar right at the hotel - Oyster Bar - although we were late for oysters we were able to get a drink when we got back to our hotel in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Roxy and would absolutely return. We would love to see the service in the restaurant area improve a little which would bring our rating up to 5 --- we will be back!

Beautifully decorated hotel that makes you feel like your thrown back to the 60s with decor and how the hotel was built. Amazing staff and food was excellent and the oyster bar was great and drink were fantastic. Complementary prosecco while you waited for your room was a added bonus. I could go on and on but id rather you guys see it for yourself. We stayed in the penthouse and the view was remarkable!. Well done Roxy! We will be back.

Fantastic hotel. Nice rooms and great amenities. Super vibrant. You can hear the music at the bar until it closes so if your a light sleeper and need to sleep early then this might be not the perfect fit for you.

It was a great experience to stay here! The retro decoration is the highlight and although the rooms can be a bit dark, they are very comfortable. The hotel has a cinema (with popcorn) and a club downstairs. The brunch is fantastic.

The hotel seems a fun and funky place. I wasn't a guest here, but attended an event in the movie theater in the basement. Maybe it's to effect an atmosphere but although the hallway leading to the bathroom is pretty well lit, the turn off to the entrance doors is not. You struggle to see which door says what, as there are about four, not just the 🚺 or 🚹or ♿ you might be expecting. The theater itself is mid-sized holding approximately 200 (or more) people. There seems to be only one major entrance and exit, which makes one uncomfortable when thinking of exiting quickly. And, at that particular screening, it was so very warm inside, that folks began taking off extra clothing. The celebrity star of the movie even commented on the heat and asked for a towel.

The Roxy is a cool spot for cool people. As far as hotel stays, not a preference for those looking for luxury pampering, or flashy amenities. If you are a staycation type, this probably isn't for you. That being said, the location is awesome for a fun time with great friends, sporting live music and interesting people! The staff are professional and friendly, great vibes, lots of fun to be had. We were lucky to join for a wonderful event, and it was an amazing place to celebrate! Breakfast was delicious the morning after... which you probably won't wake up in time for!

The Roxy Hotel is definitely a favorite of mine. Jazz music everywhere you go, from the club to the lobby. The food here is also very good. Going to check out the old school movie theater tonight. There is really no reason to leave the hotel, worked out well on this rainy weekend. This will be a regular stop when visiting NYC.

Fabulous, chic hotel with incredible food, coffee, mixed drinks, oyster bar, and live music in two venues. There’s even a movie theatre on-site. The staff - from reception and servers to housekeeping - is extremely well trained, priofessional, and welcoming. We loved the retro ‘70’s decor and the awesome background music. Very comfortable bed - not too soft, not too hard - just right. Pet friendly and close to subway and excellent restaurants. I’ve already told family and friends and look forward to returning soon!

Friendly and helpful staff from the minute you walk through the front door. The rooms are decent sized and are sparkling clean. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom has a stainless steel countertop and sink, and there are little vintage touches throughout like a 50's style mini-fridge and clock radio. The hotel has live music every night both in the open-air bar and a downstairs jazz club. On Saturday night they had a DJ in the cocktail lounge and it was packed with young and beautiful types. There is also an exclusive cocktail bar that you enter through a separate door on the side of the hotel. The hotel has a movie cinema which we didn't have time to use, as well as free loaner bikes. Some guests mentioned that the music is loud, but we were on the 7th floor and weren't bothered at all. An added plus is there is a subway stop just outside the hotel. You are within walking distance to Chelsea, SOHO and the financial district. The Roxy offers a late check-out (2 pm) which was helpful considering we had a later flight out. Overall a wonderful stay and will stay here again next time we're in town.

The roxy is amazing! My husband and I go the the bar every now and then and I love it because it reminds me of the hotel I used to work at in Boston, the liberty! I got the chance to surprise him with a stay cation here for his birthday! The rooms are great, beds are super comfortable. The service at the bar and front desk were fantastic! They made our stay extra special by giving us complimentary champagne 🍾 💕 thank you so much everybody for making his birthday special!

LOVED it here! This is the cutest, most charming hotel I’ve ever been to in NYC. It’s high end without being over the top and (considering NYC) is affordable. The bar/restaurant is fabulous and so comfy. The rooms are so cute and not cookie cutter. My bed was a lil small but I didn’t mind it. My view was stunning. The hospitality here is honestly the best I’ve experienced anywhere and I was so sad to leave. I lived in NYC for 13 years and need a weekend here and there now that I live in ATL and this is 100% where I’ll be staying going forward.

Wow wow wow. Service is amazing. Rooms are great. And the music music music is amazing. Don’t come here if you want quiet and boring. Come because it’s kinda awesome and loud. Food is terrific. Neighbourhood is fun (check out Belle next door for a great dive). Definitely coming back.

All around amazing location to stay in NYC! I love the Roxy, whether oysters or jazz night in the lobby or Django, or the cinema downstairs. So many amazing aspects here. The coffee shop is SO GOOD and there are tons of spots to camp out and chat or get some work done on a laptop. The bathrooms in the basement level are so nice and private, and the staff everywhere is super helpful. Rooms don’t have that incredible of a view, but this spot is so convenient, just steps away from the Canal Street station or super easy location to call a car/taxi. The Mountie from Jack’s is a yummy drink!

We have stayed at many hotels in NYC and this one is our favorite! We had an amazing long weekend at The Roxy and we can't say enough good things about the experience. We booked one of the suites and it was lovely and comfortable. In addition, the staff was amazing and the atmosphere was fun. We also loved spending a rainy afternoon watching a movie in the theater - a great bonus! I'm sure we will be back again!

The hotel was awesome. I love the vibe, the live music, the movie theater downstairs and the decor. The service was awesome. We stayed 4 nights and the turn over survive was amazing. We came back to a clean room each day. The hotel was also very clean and classy. It had a jazz or speak easy vibe. Coffee shop, bar, and restaurant are attached. Room service was great. I would have added photos but I don’t want to ruin the surprise for everybody. Price point was reasonable too but you are farther away from Times Square.

My favorite hotel in the city. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, the jazz gig at the Django was an absolute delight, the rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. This will definitely be home away from home. Thanks Chanel and Omar for sorting out our booking mishap <3

Fun place to stay. Remarkably spacious rooms by NYC standards. Built-in white noise generator in each room is a plus! Love music in the lobby bar. Nice to have seats saved for hotel patrons. Location is good to access Soho galleries and Tribeca restaurants, and just a walk to the Village. Free bikes needed repair, but they got on that.

Stopped here after dinner because of a previous great experience. This time the bartender with the bun and goatee made the drinks with juice and charged $20. I said nothing ordered a different drink the separate time. Juice again. Messed up. When we came before we had professional bartender serving adult beverages. Good memory, not this time. Stealing $. Don’t order from this guy. $40 for a lemonade- disappointing

Amazing hotel, great vibes, clean, well run and great location. No complaints. They make it a little difficult to book the jazz club... Asked to download an app but could not manage that... More of a me problem. Would be great if they gave water each day or even better have water machines on each floor for self service

The Roxy is a fantastic hotel and have a fabulous staff. The staff has top notch customer service especially Dwight at the front desk. Additionally, Leidy, Collette, Lissy and Daniel were super helpful on all of the details for my trip. BIG KUDOS to Bartenders Mark & Katie who made the Happy Hour spectacular. Gotta check them out whenever you visit New York City.

So there was a hurricane that just hit New York and my flight was cancelled, so I treated myself to a suite at the Roxy everything was fine until I left the hotel to catch my flight in the morning my camera and film unfortunately was left on the desk when I called to have them retrieve it neither the film or camera was able to be found... I’ve never experienced anything like this staff was no help and I’m out a 4,000 dollar camera I’ll never step foot in this place again ...

The façade is of red brick punctuated with cast-iron detailing, and was inspired by materials that describe the TriBeCa area. You cannot go wrong with this classical experience of grand hotels. Be it your first and last!

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure! This is classical spot to enjoy great mercantile food and listen to quality music. Great ambience and professional customer service.

Very cool retro hotel with many things to do inside the hotel itself, as well as easy subway access and good pizza and restaurants nearby. The customer experience director was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us a room call to suggest places to go, and came down to meet us when we had more questions. I would not recommend driving to and parking at the hotel. The garage they partner with is on an awfully uneven, broken road and the staff there will add charges with no explanation. Leave your car elsewhere. The rooms are very nice for what the theme they offer, but some amenities seemed to be missing. I paid for a Roxy Deluxe King room but I was not getting a Roxy Deluxe King experience. Their website claims to have "bedside charging ports." I called the front desk and was told that means the outlets behind the nightstand that I had to pull away from the wall to access, unlike a standard USB port on a lamp like most other hotels have. The website also says the rooms have Fretté bath robes. My room had nothing of the sort. When I called to get bath robes, housekeeping brought me two rough Terry cloth bathrobes, not the advertised brand, and far from deluxe. It started to make me wonder what else my room was missing if they wouldn't even give me the bare minimum I paid for. Maybe it was because of the busy weekend, but I paid the premium for that.

Great and clean hotel. Awesome location with adequate distance to public transportation. We absolutely loved the interior design and overall atmosphere. It’s like we traveled back in time. We are most definitively will stay here again next time we are in NYC.

Lovely hotel, love that there’s almost always piano playing. Rooms are clean. Unfortunately when I checked in, the woman told me that breakfast was until 3pm and included - which I was floored by. The next day I found out that breakfast was *not* included and that it was only until 11am anyway. They gave me two breakfast coupons but I’m one of those people who sleeps in until 12 and doesn’t eat until 2 so, wasn’t much of a consolation.

If you're looking for cozy rooms, gym, great coffee bar, dining, plus multiple entertainment options, in a great location, then this is the place. Where else can you have live music, a jazz club, and an actual cinema inside your hotel? This is the place people who live nearby go to for fun. It's dim lighting everywhere with the old Hollywood vibes; even the mini fridges have the 60s look to it. Gym is small, but has just enough to get in a good workout. I wish there was a hotel first discount for the jazz club.

The Roxy is such a vibrant and hip hotel! It surpassed my expectations!! The front desk, management, room service all took great care of us. We booked the hotel along with few friends and family members to celebrate my wife's birthday who all had an amazing time. The rooms are exceptionally clean. Love how they all open up looking into the atrium. So many great entertainment options and the location is perfect! The team at Roxy is very friendly and want you to have a great time! They went above and beyond to help us celebrate! Thank you!!

Stayed 4 days here. Was amazing. Great rooms, very comfortable..in-room dining delicious! Great customer service. And the jazz bar below (Django) is epic, and the entire hotel has the perfect retro vibe. Will definately go back to stay here, I highly recommend, and believe me, I've been to many hotels in NYC. Wish I had better photos, I just forgot to take them.

Great ambience and very helpful staff. Food tastes good and lots to do. We had deluxe king room which was comfortable and chic in design. We ate in the Roxy bar and went to the Djanjo bar. Both good experiences. Able to check into the room in the morning and check out after midday on the day we left. It was a bit expensive but typical of NYC, and the experience was worth it. We stayed just one night.

Can't speak about the hotel, but it is a great place to meet for business breakfast or for drinks. Met up with colleagues that I haven't seen in 2 years and drinks were great. Nice ambiance with live piano entertainment when I was there. Service was just ok. Server took awhile to bring bill.

Excellent service. Upgraded our room when we found it wasn't clean, no issues, big apologies and a credit for the restaurant. Amenities in the room were damaged but didn't affect our stay. Staff were impeccably professional and polite, while being friendly and welcoming. Jazz at night goes on til late, so be prepared. Location makes it very easy to get to from Holland tunnel. Felt transported into an older era at The Roxy!

We had a great weekend in NYC. The Roxy has a fun hotel bar, the rooms are cozy and we had great service at the bar and restaurant. We had one bad egg ruin the weekend during checkout. We checked out at the front desk at 10am Sunday and asked if we could have someone store our bags. We were told sure they’d take care of it and we went to brunch. I get a call in the afternoon that checkout was at noon. I was interrupted repeatedly while trying to explain that we checked out and someone stored our bags. I then got scolded because I didn’t follow proper protocol(I still don’t know how I would have known their protocol). We had also called the week before confirming they would be able to store the bags. I suggested to the person on the phone that a different approach to the conversation might be better next time. Instead of telling me I did something wrong, ask me a question. We then had a similar conversation in person at the hotel lobby with an manager and the person I spoke with on the phone. I don’t know why their management issues got pushed onto us to resolve. We ended up leaving for home earlier than planned and left unsure if we’d come back. Nothing was done to rectify the situation. The whole thing was really upsetting. Additionally, if you plan to visit, make reservations for any of the entertainment areas. It’s unlikely you’ll get a seat without one. We were turned away from the bar area a few times because we didn’t have a reservation.

Wonderful experience. Service fantastic. Lively music. Wouldn’t recommend the restaurant downstairs for dinner if you’re looking for a big menu but fun for a drink! Our room was beautiful and spacious. Worth the upgrade if you’re staying a while. Thanks Roxy friends!

Loved staying here, not like any other hotel I've ever been to. It's just a fun place to be in a great part of town. Rooms are really cool, decked out in retro decor, including a record player which was awesome. Would absolutely come back.

You could not go to different floors...the key for the elevator only allows you onto your floor. I traveled with friends and even if we were on the same reservation we ended up on different floors. Don't get me wrong..a few stairs and you can get to another floor...bit a few drinks in you and it is not so much fun. Otherwise it was cute..live music which radiated to your room whether you were asleep or not.

Very disappointed at this hotel, expected much better given the reviews and price. Only stay here if you want the gimmick of "jazz music" playing non-stop loudly throughout the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and it felt like the pianist was in our room (even with the white noise turned to max). Staff are either indifferent or unhelpful. Rooms only serviced on request and even then it might not happen but they will definitely try to come into the room if you asked not to be disturbed. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom lighting was good. But I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Such a fun ambiance! Whole place decorated like a 70’s jazz club. Super cool if you’re into that style. Lobby area has a fantastic bar and restaurant area with live music. It does get noisy at night until 2am, and the rooms all face the inner jazz area. If you’re a light sleeper take this into account!

Great rooms, in a relatively quiet part of the city. The hotel has a very active live music scene with dining involved, too, if you wish. No baths, but a large shower to go with a large room, which is a rare thing in NYC ! Staff are friendly and more than happy to help with anything you need. Subway entry is a two minute walk behind the hotel and is a great way to get about during the day, especially if you are looking to save money on taxi fares! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is unique and has a unique charm to it. The front desk was very friendly. The restaurant and host for the restaurant quite the opposite. Always felt like a burden to the host and never had any availability to accommodate as a hotel guest. The girl told us the bar was first come first serve, sat at a bar table, and then she told off that was reserved even asking the bar tender. Went back later that night and the guy told us the whole bar and restaurant was full and to come back later. Rooms were clean and had a unique charm to them. Would recommend the hotel but overall the restaurant and bar were not worth it and would not go out of my way to stay here again.
