This is small but cute and interesting zoo located inside gorgeous prospect park. You could visit this zoo by yourself or continue exploring whole prospect park. For small kids, adults and whole family, this would a pleasant time spent over the weekend. Remember, if you would like to see sea lions fed, you need to know the times ahead. This information is on the website.

A small urban zoo that you can easily spend 1-2hrs at with your partner, kids or friends! Affordable, good for any weather, and convenient for any kind of transportation. One of the cheaper zoos in the area. The wonderful thing about this zoo is that most of the exhibits are indoors. The Discovery Trail is outdoors but very shady. The Barn is outdoors (in the colder months, the barn has heat). The zoo is easy to navigate; everything circles around the sea lions. P.S. Bring quarters to feed the ducks in the Discovery Trail and hooved animals in the barn! Parking - nothing on-site but street parking is available. on the weekends, it's best to arrive early for an easy spot right out front. On Sundays, street parking is free. Entrance - the main entrance is in the park, walkway entrance towards the corner of Flatbush and E Lake Dr (toward Ocean Avenue). in the spring or summer, the entrance on Flatbush Avenue is oftentimes open as well. Food and Drinks - water fountains by the bathroom. minimal food and drinks, snacks available in the gift shop. plenty of food options nearby but wish I could do more to support the zoo directly. Bathrooms - very clean and located by the sea lions and barn

Had a good time. Tickets have entry times but you can stay in there for as long as you want once your inside. Hand sanitizers are posted throughout the zoo. Was surprised to see the peacocks walking around freely. They were friendly and eating food from people and just going about their merry way. The barn feeding was a nice touch. Wasn’t too crowded which was good. The cafe wasn’t much of a cafe. More of a gift shop with few snacks. We literally got through the whole zoo in about an hour and a half. It’s small but good enough if you don’t want to go all the way to the Bronx. Overall had a good time. Would recommend for kids as well as adults.

Great little zoo! They require vaccination to go inside the indoor exhibits and enforce masks inside. It felt safe and a fun way to get out of the house for a bit without too much risk.

This zoo is medium sized on my zoo tour so far. This was the second zoo on my NYC zoo tour. The exhibits in this zoo are worth the the cost offering a mix of indoor and outdoor placements. This zoo is perfect for all ages & this was reflected in the audience there on my visit. From the front, there is a pool with California Sea Lions. There is a barn with goats, sheep and an alpaca that can be fed for 50c (2 quarters needed) with a handful of feed. The animals are very friendly. Have no fear of any adverse reactions from them. There is a hall of animals with exhibits of monkeys, reptiles, birds, cats, and even a dark room with bats. There is a trail with a wide range of animals including dingos, porcupines, otters and red pandas. There’s an exhibition on baboons that are together in a family. I recommend this place for dates, friends, and family if you’re into animals. Tickets prices can be found online. WCS members can get tickets free.

It's perfect if you want to visit the animals and not have to deam with tons of people. If you want to see a large variety of animals or exotic animals, this isn't the place. But if you want a nice leisurely day with the kids this is a great choice.

I had the most amazing experience here!! The zoo is a perfect size for young children. There’s a big variety of animals but the actual zoo isn’t ok big, making it easier to walk around with children. There was plenty opportunities for the kids to be interactive with the animals. I had a wonderful time. Definitely a must visit for families.

Out of the four zoos in the City that operate under the Wildlife Conservation Society, I like the layout of the Prospect Park Zoo the most. The peacocks that roam the park are a fun part of visiting the Prospect Park Zoo. It's very well-run, and clean. I really like this zoo!

Smaller zoo, but well-organized and isn't very overwhelming but not boring either. There is a nice variety of animals to see and it isn't really that crowded. It's also good that most of the animals are indoors or in enclosed spaces, which makes it a zoo you can go to even when it's raining. Unfortunately, the zoo is closed indefinitely.

Great experience observing all the diverse animals. We even caught the mini sea lion feeding where they did a few tricks. My son also fed the swans, ducks & turltes. You can also feed the animals in the barn too. I love that you can cool down in the various conservatories. It was over 90 degrees when we visited. There was only one area that was closed due to covid but all in all a great day activity for the kids.

The Prospect Park Zoo is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. It's conveniently located inside Prospect Park, and admission is only $10. While the zoo isn't too big, the animals that live there are very lively. I really enjoyed spending time watching the baboons, especially one particularly cute family with a baby baboon. The sea lions near the entrance were very active, friendly and talkative too. Discovery Trail also made for a nice outdoor nature walk, and it was fun to see the porcupines and ducks living there. They had some prepacked sandwiches, salads, and snacks inside, which were fine, but I would probably bring my own next time to avoid the cost.

Being kissed by an alpaca was one of the happiest moments in my life. Their wildlife exhibits are great too. Plus feed the goats, cows. There is a freely moving about peahen who will peck breadcrumbs from your palm. You can also make ducks squabble over the food you throw to them. You get all the food from the zoo itself. Go with your child or go to bring out the child in you.

I have stopped by this cute little zoo several times in the past with today being my most recent visit. It might not be a large zoo, especially in comparison to the Bronx Zoo, but it has enough animals and exhibits to entertain a small child. The price of admission is $9.95 for an adult and $6.95 for a child, which I find extremely reasonable. They have a really cool barn with adorable friendly farm animals that can be hand fed. They also have a cafe/gift shop which has vastly improved since the last time I was here. The cafe part might be limited on food options, but they have really nifty gifts and toys. Be on the lookout of all the zoos friendly resident peacocks that are walking around so children won't be startled if they approach them. I definitely recommend anyone (whether solo or with a family) to check out this zoo. It is really a great place to spend a few hours every once in a while.

Really lovely zoo with many interesting "residents" to interact with! It might not be the biggest zoo in New York City but it's definitely worth the visit. As an adult I found the complex entertaining and big enough to spend a couple of hours. The center point of the zoo is the Sea Lion pool, which is very entertaining and I spend a lot of time watching the sea lions play and engage with visitors. It would be handy if there is information about feeding/playing time so I would not miss the most important part of their day! Many terrariums and aquariums are located in the Hall of Animal such as ones with birds, mice, reptiles, snakes and even bats, however my favorite was the one with colorful Amazonian forest frogs and dwarf mongoose! Family of baboons and terrariums with other monkeys are located in the pavilion named Animal Lifestyle, which was also the busiest place during my visit. I really enjoyed the barn experience! I was able to walk around the barn, touch, pet and feed (for $0.5 per load) goats, sheeps, miniature pigs and alpacas. All animals are used to humans so they enjoy occasional scratches behind their ears and are really friendly. There is a lavatory for washing hands afterwards. Last but not least is the Discovery trail - a place where I had close interaction with non-domesticated animals such as otters, porcupines, dingo dogs and red pandas! It was really fascinating to watch them up close (when they were not sleeping)! On the trail I have encountered many freely wandering, colorful peacocks, also used to humans. The entry fee of $9.95 for an adult is very reasonable, the admission ticket can be purchased at the entrance as well as via QR code/online. Toilets are available at the Discovery Center around the Sea Lion Court free of charge and well maintained. Opposite is a Café and gift store with adjacent seating areas. Paid by card. Visited in March 2023.

Nice hidden gem of a zoo within prospect park. Enjoyed the layout and easy to navigate. Has a variety of exhibits to see, a great add on to an overall experience of the park. Has a learning center for kids to get interactive, gift shop is small but decent selection of items. Did not see much in the way of food so bring snacks and lunch

Lincoln Park Zoo was fantastic at social distancing, clean & sanitized bathrooms, crowd control. Lots of animals in the outside enclosures for viewing. Vending machines only take cash though. There were outdoor food vendors sporadically placed. Plenty of benches, tables, outdoor areas for snacks & breaks. It was easy to reserve the free tickets on event brite.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, is a beautiful zoo just outside of downtown Cleveland. Great conservation efforts and a phenomenal atmosphere. We visited for the zoo lights this year. Clearly a beautiful display. If you have the opportunity to visit or donate to the zoo. Do it. Definitely worth your time.

This zoo is small. But still is a good place to go. First of all, it is close to us in Brooklyn. I don't need to Bronx zoo. Second, it has many animals. There is a sea lion training at 11:30. My daughters are so happy.

Cute little zoo but it's a little too small. Wonderful for toddlers to roam around and see animals. Lots of exhibits were closed or work in progress so we didn't get to see much. My favorite is the barn area where there are sheeps, goats and lamas. They allow you to buy feedings to feed to animals. Fun interactions! They do have a few peacock roaming around the area so that was a pleasant surprise. Staff were located at a reasonable distance so handy when needing help or first aid.

This was a really nice zoo to visit. They had a good assortment of exhibits and the tickets aren't overly expensive. It is not the biggest zoo, but for its size there is quite a bit to do. I personally really like the interactive part of the Barn and Garden exhibit. You are able to feed and pet the animals and I think it would be a great place to bring your kids. There are also seal training events throughout the day so make sure you check the schedule when you plan your visit to get the most out of your time there. The only qualm that I have with this place is the cafe. The food was overpriced and was not very good. There are a lot of other options near the zoo and I recommend checking out those places instead. As long as you are not going here to eat, I really think you should check this place out especially if you are bringing kids.

This is a nice but small zoo. Due to covid, all indoor attractions are closed, but you can still see the sea lions, go on the discovery trail, and visit the barn. My family spent a fun 50 minutes here, but if the indoor attractions were open, we would have visited for longer. You do have to reserve tickets ahead, and not take the chance of there not being enough tickets for everyone in the group.

I think the booking system has improved the flow of being able to see the indoor creatures easily. The sea lion show you isn't in but I think the ability to have space and see the animals more than makes up for it. Stop off at high grade coffee which opened as covid hit for an excellent coffee and pastries (near the station) . The shop in the zoo is open and you can buy little ones and adults animal masks for $5 a big selection.

Small, intimate zoo. Half the size of the Central Park zoo or even smaller. But perfect to let my 5 year old run wild and free. The highlights: the barn and the sea lions. Come in winter and have the place all to yourself. We love it then. No crowds!

An excellent place to take the kids, or to take in by yourself. On a smaller scale than the Bronx Zoo, The Prospect Park Zoo is much easier to experience fully in the course of a few pleasant hours. They've done a great job of Covid-19-proofing the grounds without leaving guests feeling either cramped or denied any experiences. The bird exhibits, in particular, are amazing. This is a GREAT place to take kids of any age. Highly recommend!

Exceptionally constructed to give the feeling of being within a deep magnificently mysterious rainforest. The waterfalls, pools, ponds and streams which contain many of the animals and fish have been splendidly designed. To create a near perfect harmonious environment of biological ecosystem of heat and high humidity. Excellent place to visit in the extreme cold of winter, to fully warm up your body & spirit. 💜💙💜🐉 Do Like 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

A small but cozy zoo. The animals are clean, well-groomed. You can buy food in the zoo itself and feed a llama, sheep. There is a swimming pool with sea lions in the center of the zoo. The cutest thing in the zoo is a red panda♥️. Entrance prices are not expensive, great for children 4-10 years old.

Perfect size zoo for a family with kids. … Interactive Petting zoo, sea lion feedings, Stroller and wheelchair accessible. … They have a wonderful baboon exhibit where you could sit down and watch the baboon families hang out. There is no indoor cafe, only outdoor picnic tables. The gift shop is rather pricey.

The price is right for this small but lovely zoo. They do a wonderful job of making it feel as natural as it can, with animals which are far out of reach but easily viewable. The animals also have plenty of room or a shelter when they want to retreat from the humans. My only criticism is the price point of everything in the cafe--needs to be about a dollar less for everything in there. Also, once you are inside they do not do a good job at all of ensuring everyone is wearing their masks. I watched twice as Security personnel loped along, looked at whole families with their masks around their necks, and didn't say a word to them about putting their masks back on or keeping a 6-foot minimum distance. They need to get on that.

Its very good place. The Prospect Park Zoo is a 12-acre (4.9 ha) zoo located off Flatbush Avenue on the eastern side of Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York City. As of 2016, the zoo houses 864 animals representing about 176 species, and as of 2007, it averages 300,000 visitors annually. The Prospect Park Zoo is operated by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).

I love this little zoo. It has enough to see and do to feel substantial without being overwhelming. It's also beautiful. I've taken my kids several times a year for the past 8 years and went today for the first time since Covid. Their safety protocols were well established and we had a great time. The barn area and Discovery Trail are great for kids. If you go, look for the pack of roaming peacocks that seem to own the place!

Honestly I have to say the Jungle World is one of the best zoos I've ever been to! They have so many great animals to see and lots of places to eat and get drinks! My favorite part is Jungle World which has the gibbons in it. I love taking photos of them! The zoo also has brew at the zoo which is fun! The PEACOCKS! Definitely the most memorable part, they just roam freely! Today was my first time coming to the Prospect Park Zoo and I really dig it. I took a few of my students, who are locals in Brooklyn and have been to this zoo at least once before. The zoo is small but has a good amount of sightseeing and animal interactions for the visitors. I really enjoyed the farm part of the zoo. Got to pet and feed sheep and an alpaca (or a llama?)! Covid has brought numerous sanitizing stations. Given that we had a 10:00am entry, park had a few visitors and finished covering the zoo in less than 2 hours :)

The Zoo was awesome! A short 10s wait if you have a reservation for it.. Anyways, it was a blast. Staff was amazing, And they love company! (The animals. Maybe not the Sleeping ones though..) But also, I'd recommend visiting the SEA LION STORE & CAFE. It's a cute lil' Gift shop and snack bar. 2 to 1 things. The pics down below 👇 are just pics for what the animals are. They also put signs for what the Type of Bird, Koala, Ect. They are. Make sure to look out for the otters when you first come in. They'll be Jumpin'!

The zoo may not be the biggest zoo and there aren't that many animals but the grounds are amazing and fun to walk around especially with small kids you got these peacocks walking freely around a nice sea lions pool. Monkeys and a bird house. And a nice petting zoo my kids loved it . And there's a big plus the price is very cheap going at 8$ per child and 10 for adults.

This is a fairly small zoo, but it has a reasonable admission. When you walk in, you see sea lions and buildings around it. One of the buildings was closed off but the others were open. There are some animals but not a lot. Several animal exhibits only included a single one. I finished walking around after an hour and I took time to look at them all. It's a fun place to go, but I don't think I'd go again.

Great, chill, affordable activity to do for a day out with the kids, family, friends, or a little date day with a boo ;) [10$ for adults 7$ for kids] Definitely a ‘smaller’ zoo in size, but a good enough variety of animals to still enjoy. “The Barn” section was my favorite. You have the option to pet and feed animals. Super interactive & fun! It’s hard not to smile here. Absolutely recommend! Sidebar: 4 stars because the minute that you pull out human food too close to the animals it can get weird

The prospect zoo is decent and has a small feeding area for the kids to feed some animals. The indoor attractions area closed. The zoo feels like a walk through a park with the sights of limited animals. I prefer white post farms due to the engagement it allows for the kids. The prospect zoo and the other city zoos are past it's prime and should be re-imagined for today's kids.

  • 4/5 Shiane G. 3 years ago on Google
If you go with your child, as most do then it's five stars because kids are fascinated with almost anything, which is great. But you even then you could see everything, even if you stop to feed the farm animals for a while in about 10 or 15min. Definitely a one time thing, because it doesn't leave a feeling of wanting to come back at least not with my son. He was more wanting to go back for the gift shop than the zoo itself. That being said, it's a nice thing to do with your family.

Native New Yorker— from Queens. Been to Bronx (too big to navigate with or without kids), Manhattan (parking a nightmare as expected but overall nice), a Queens (mediocre not thoughtfully designed). Prospect park zoo is our favorite! Small enough but thoughtfully designed which made the one way route for covid easy for them. Spent an hour there with two kids 4 and 2 years old. Few tips for COVID. the website seemed to say you must have advance online tickets but if not at capacity they were still selling tickets at the gate. The gate being the prospect park entrance (children’s corner sign— no sign mentioning/confirming this was the new temporary entrance) not the Flatbush ave one (I thought someone would be at the main entrance to guide but nope and some people couldn’t find it for a long time). Secondly, people mentioned the indoor spaces were closed. Now as of Aug 26th I saw at least two indoor spaces open but there was a 10 people capacity so a line was formed outside for the hall of animals and another one I can’t remember. And lastly till sept 7th all essential workers are FREE to all zoos as a thank you— so grateful for this! Use the code hero2020!

The newly reopened zoo is very efficiently setup, with the entrance and exit loc8by the carousel. The zoo is now setup in a series of one ways to maximize the flow and allow visitors a clear path to visit and see all of the exhibits. Nearly everything was open on my September 5 visit. Sadly no Sea Lion feedings, but, the petting zoo was open and feedings were available there.

Really nice little zoo in the middle of Brooklyn. My first time there and we had a nice time. There was only a few other people there so it was almost as if we had the place to ourselves. Bring your own food/drink if you would like, as their choices are extremely limited. I love the old buildings and history as well.

A great place for a walk with children, a lot of animals all clean and well-groomed, but the truth is the walk will be short the zoo is small.

  • 5/5 J N. 3 years ago on Google
Not a very big zoo, but a decent variety of animals. They have a red panda and two pallas’s cats which I haven’t seen in an American zoo before. Some of the buildings are closed because they’re not big enough to distance in. The buildings that are opened are capacity-controlled in addition to the zoo itself requiring timed-entry tickets. The lines to get in the buildings moved quickly so not a bother and it was nice that the whole zoo wasn’t packed. There’s a barnyard area where kids can feed the animals.

It's not big. But it's just the right size to see everything in a long afternoon visit. There are in door and out door exhibits that are well laid out. On a crisp late fall weekday it was just the thing to get our little guy out of the house. Almost all the animals were out and it was not crowded at all. Their covid precautions made us feel very safe and welcomed.

Attended Zoo lights. Thank you LPZ for still making this happen. I wish they could have welcomed more people as the decorations are beautiful. At times I had the walking path to myself. Be aware you won't see any animals at night. Decorations were scaled down due to Covid but we still enjoyed it. I did buy the extra tickets for Snowy S'mores. I was confused as the ticket only is for admission to the fire pit not the s'more kit. I recommend the maze vs the enchanted forest. We did both.

  • 3/5 Jessi L. 3 years ago on Google
Well we are understanding that with Covid the indoor exhibits will be closed. What we didn't realize was there weren't going to be any animals at all. I have posted 16 pictures with is 1 of every single animal they had available to see. Including the ducks and seagulls. The big cats were not there because they are still under construction. ALL of the bears were gone. It wasn't what we expected. Even for a free zoo. We paid quite a bit for parking They could have said online that 3/4 of the animals were being kept inside with no way to see them. Had we known we would have went to Brookfield. We like Lincoln Park because it's the last free one and I love being able to donate which I do when I buy the tickets. I just wish they would have warned us. My daughters were ready to leave after 15 minutes of empty animal houses. Thankfully we chose a day that wasn't humid or we would have left without out seeing everything. Luckily they had the flamingos which was what my girls wanted most after the rest was empty. That's why we saved it for last or they would have wanted to leave after seeing them.

  • 5/5 Dustin 3 years ago on Google
I really like the zoo. I appreciate that it's free. They do a pretty good job here. It's not as expensive as some other issues, but it's a nice place to bring kids or to have a date. A real gem of the city. At the moment they're doing lots of construction, but that's a good thing. They're keeping the zoo in good condition.

And we will go back when its warmer and we can see the animals

No chance to get to Christmas Lights neither at Lincoln Zoo nor at Botanic Garden in time of COVID 19. But just to be there, take a walk around, chat with a strangers, patting the dogs & exchange couple wards with their owners, all of this gave a windows to the normal life, to the community, to feel yourself as a part of this wonderful town & it's community.

  • 4/5 Caitlin S. 3 years ago on Google
First time visiting and was kind of disappointed. All the buildings were closed (reptile, primate, etc.) and there was a lot of construction. Because of this you weren’t able to see very many animals. I thought the arrows painted along the ground and various fences showing the correct walking paths were wonderful to keep people distanced but also made for extra walking and it was harder to get to/find exhibits. I appreciate their efforts during COVID. Good for a visit if your have an extra hour and are searching for something FREE to do.

This is a place that I wish we had more time to explore! It's a aquarium, planetarium, and science museum all in one place. I heard the Steinhart Aquarium is better than the Aquarium of the Bay, so we decided to go here our last day in San Francisco. Pro tip: You can get a discount if you took public transit. Also you will want to get tickets (they're free) for any Planetarium shows you want to see when you first arrive, as they can run out. I think you could easily explore this place from the time they open until close! They have Night hours on Thursday nights, but you'll want to buy those tickets in advance. One of my favorite things was the Rainforest Exhibit with butterflies flying all around you.

Went to the zoo to see the Christmas lights and they were beautiful! Didn’t see any animals though! There was a beautiful area to sit on the top floor at one of the building full of lights above the seating area, but they did have a $3 entrance charge which was kind of inconvenient! The parking for 31 minutes to 2 hours was $20. Overall it was an ok experience, too many fees here and there, and not much to do besides walking around to see the lights.

Zoo Lights on NYE!! I guess you can't expect much when you pay $20 for a family of four but I'd rather pay more and get more then to visit this again. It could've been more lights and maybe a light show to the beat of music. The kids were bored and ready to leave before it was over. For NYE to make it an actual event maybe they can add fireworks or fill in the much empty space with more lights.

The Asian Lantern Festival is an amazing event being organized at Zoo location. The night lights make the visits memorable, complete zoo is decorated with beautiful structures ornamented with colourful lights. The dinosaurs 🦕 with lights gives a realistic feel articulated with sound effects. Even the night shows conducted at 9:45pm was an additional talented show, which added more to the overall audience.

Entertaining and an experiential spot. Liked Lion, Elephants, Zebra, Rhino, Golden Monkey, Kangaroos, Flamingo etc. It has a boardwalk to primates, cats etc which is super cool, maples all along the walk. Train ride was fun, we were able to see Kangaroos. Decoration on Asian theme was fabulous. There are resting benches, cafes, ice cream parlor at many places. Waterfowl Lake is nice.

Very nice park, map is helpful but the routes could've been marked better. We seen the entire park in 5 hours walking with teenagers and older people. Most definitely can see the entire park in 1 day and have time to stop and see all the sights. Plenty of areas to rest. Be smart, pack a cooler and bring a wagon! Save yourself, lots of hills. -1 star for prices of things, poor directions without map and the fact that 10% of the attractions were unavailable. But I believe that is Covid related.

Love this zoo! Its been a couple of years since I've been here, but plan on going this year. Nicely kept, and has a pretty diverse primate selection. Primates being my favorite mammals. But I also have fond memories of visiting the Rainforest, which I'm pretty sure is getting a new roof right now! The spiral enclosed staircase was pretty cool in there, hope its still there!

Many exhibits (bears, birds of prey, and many in the Rainforest and Primates, Cats, and Aquatics building) seem way too small. The Australian Lungfish barely has room to turn around in its tank. I know it's AZA accredited, but it's seems like they used the minimum measurement requirements. And so many loud after hours events (with alcohol)- I'm sure the animals don't appreciate that.

The Metroparks Zoo has taken great strides to remain safe in despite the ongoing pandemic. There's only so much ability to deal with that many people, but I feel I have seen zoo staff take great care in addressing zoo goers who don't follow the rules. Overall, well met!

Awesome place to bring your kids and explore for the day. The best part is in the back with the primate, cat and aquarium building which sits atop a very large hill so bring your walking shoes. During COVID-19 times the tram is not running and the hill is sizable.

Another gem in Brooklyn. Easy to get to, animals I never seen before are on display and look healthy and the peacocks walking around make you feel like you're in an exotic place.

Should had more animals is NYC, we are getting more cheap as city wise, 4 zoos few big and rare animals, The xity created this zoos.looks.like.any 3 world country and.maybe they have better zoos than us ans we are.the.ones behind in everything we only.produce or we just.print the dollar and forget about everything else like our kids, we.are focus more on adults life style drinks restaurants etc

A tiny zoo just like your backyard. It's good to bring your family to visit.

  • 3/5 Gloria L. 1 year ago on Google
This used to be a great place for younger children, with a lot of interactive activities. On my most recent visit (July 1st), I found that the several areas were closed. Also there were no prairie dogs, (which was always a highlight) for the kids. The cave around the prairie dog exhibit was filled with huge flies. It seems the whole place could use a good cleaning and sprucing up. Also, perhaps a few indoor seats for dining might be good as I noticed several children afraid to eat with peacocks near them. Hope to see the zoo return to top form soon.

Hmm I don't know why everything is disorganized here except Sealion zone. We parked our car on Flatbush Ave and then saw a entrance gate that was locked so we asked a women security (who was sitting in the booth and busy with earphones & phone) hi....excuse us...is the zoo closed today ? after two times asking she replied no, go straight make a right you will see info.desk. then she goes back in her phone. well our first met women found so rough no courtesy. Then we walked for 2min to reach information desk (tickets counter) this lady also doesn't know how to behave with customers or guests. She speaks like she doesn't know anything (unprofessional). After met two women, Already our excitement was disturbing....finally we entered in the zoo...but totally disappointed. Lots of animals are missing! You can see in the pictures. Coffee shop was also so dirty but still I spent $40 there bcoz my family was hungry. Anyways this Zoo should be more organized and All employees should be more congenial and better quality.

Small zoo with a few but still interesting and exotic animals. Lots of small activities spread throughout and close by in the park. Took about 2 hours to do everything including eating our packed lunch with a three year old. Peacocks everywhere like the most beautiful moaning pigeons!

Amazing zoo that I overlooked and didn't consider the vast amount animals and nice area to walk similar to the Bronx but closer to home.
